2023.03.20 22:41 0P8S Does anyone think the ghost armour looks good ?
I know Taka was a swordsmith not an armourer, they are very different skill sets but the state of that ghost armour looks more like it was knocked up by a very drunk Kenji. Armour made by a swordsmith was never realistically going to look like the Gosaku set but at the very least it wouldn't be lopsided or held together by string. It didn't need to look dog rough to emphasise Jin's fall from grace as lord Sakai the samurai to the ghost and assassin. If I use it for the high stealth stats it's always the colossus colouration, the pattern makes the lopsided bits less noticeable.

2023.03.20 22:39 jerkg00d [M4A] Whatâs your favourite scary movie?
(All characters and participants must be 18+.)
Whatâs your favourite scary movie? I ask through the phone, my maskâs built in voice changer makes it sound a lot more dark and menacing than what itâs really like.
After a long pause, longer than usual your shakily reply. âWh-whoâs this?â From outside your window I see you lock the doors and tell your dog to get inside, before closing the blinds. Maybe I should get in? I think to myself. âOh you know who I amâŚâ My response is escapes my grinning mouth. âSo, what is YOUR favourite scary movie?â The question repeats itself over the phone.
You know the tale of the Ghostface murderer, but those were years ago.. surely he canât be back.. right?
The thoughts run through your mind before you hear your dog growl at the closed closet from inside your room.. âI see youâŚâ
ââââââââ-
Heyy everyone! Iâm looking to play as none other than the infamous Ghostface! So while the scene and setting can change, the villain in the story will not. This could act sort of like a âWho-Dunnitâ in which the main friendgroup has to come together to find who is terrorising the streets again.
If this sounds like a fun idea then let me know! Message me with the word âTerrifyâ if youâve read this far.
As for the other characters? Iâm very much open for discussion. We donât have to be connected to the current Scream saga at all - And OCâs are more than welcome!

2023.03.20 22:39 jshrlzwrld02 Can I have a mini-rant real quick about some common cycling laws and courtesy real quick?
Not trying to cause some big enraged debate here, just trying to figure out why the fuck people can't use common sense on a bicycle.
You. Have. Wheels.
You. Are. Traffic.
You. Belong. On. The Road.
You. Obey. Traffic. Laws.
Okay, now that we have that out of the way... I understand completely that some people don't feel comfortable riding their bikes in a traffic lane. That's totally fine, I really do get it. There are times when I don't want to be on the main road, but also, sometimes it's honestly easier and safer to be on the road than it is trying to weave in and out of pedestrians.
IF, however, IF you don't feel comfortable and feel the need to ride your bike on the sidewalk... the ONLY thing you have to do is REMEMBER that you're riding your bike in a place that you're not supposed to be. All that means is that you yield to pedestrians who are confined to the sidewalk because we're shockingly NOT TRAFFIC.
We don't have to have a big fight and ban bikes from sidewalks, that's not the goal. But it's kind of important to realize that if you're on a bike traveling faster than a pedestrian that the pedestrian doesn't have eyes in the back of their head and we don't have side mirrors so there's no fucking way to know you're trying to pass us.
Just announce which side of me you're attempting to pass on, and give me time to make space for you. That's all we have to do to get along.
This is prompted by an interaction I had a few moments ago where a cyclist tried to pedal past, and subsequently almost ran into my dog on a skinny part of the sidewalk downtown on Euclid without announcing himself... and who then had the audacity to then tell me to have courtesy for other people on the sidewalk as if I was supposed to see him out of the back of my head and anticipate his overtake.
Just, fucking, no.
Disclaimer: I don't hate cyclists. I hate assholes.

2023.03.20 22:39 bugmoon Short story collection with ghost animals/fantasy/horror
This book is a collection of short stories.
One is about a wood carver who wants his carvings to be more realistic, so he gets a spell to turn everything he touches to wood. His daughter falls in love with a bear (I think??) and he accidentally turns her and maybe the bear into wood.
Another has a man whoâs haunted by the ghost of a puppy who lives in a money box he got.
Another is a farm hand who looks after horses. He makes a horse out of snow (there is an illustration of the horse and it has lots of legs) and he rides away on the horse, implying he dies.
There are others involving ghost animals like dogs but I canât remember them as well.

2023.03.20 22:39 bananacakefrosting I need advice
Okay guys, I need help. My husbands family had a get together for my niece and nephew yesterday for their birthdays. They both got cards with a $100 inside. By the end of the night my nieces $100 bill went missing. My MIL asked my husband if my daughter had seen it. I asked my daughter and she said the last time she saw it was when they took the card up to nieces room. Now, my problem is, my daughter is OBSESSED with money for some reason. She always wants money and when she has money she has to spend it. She has a debit card that she earns money and we transfer money to her. We have also had problems with her stealing from me. Not money but she was stealing my makeup a lot and we got into a huge argument about it and she was grounded for a month because she wouldnât stop stealing my shit. Now my MIL is texting me asking if my daughter may have taken the money. I asked my daughter and she said no and I checked her bag and her drawers and no money. But that doesnât mean itâs not hidden somewhere. I donât know if she took it but with her track record of stealing I canât rule it out, but she is adamant that she didnât take the money. I donât know how to go about this without tearing her whole room apart.
Any help is appreciated

2023.03.20 22:38 kjleebio project ultimacene Falkland wolf the only native mammal of the falklands
The Falkland wolf is a fascinating canid resurrected by the nature company to once again be the predator of the Falkand islands. There are two subspecies, the east wolf and the west wolf on the two main islands however, it has been said that either subspecies would swim to the other island which causes interbreeding within the subspecies.
Falkland wolves are about the size of a small coyote with color morphs being mostly red fur but also has light fur colors as well.
During the mating season males would often compete for females via aggressive confrontations. Females would dig holes to keep their pups in which often have 2 to 3 pups. These pups would stay with their mother for about 4 years before setting out for their own.
Being the only land predator of the Falklands, they have a wide array of prey to hunt which includes seabirds, penguins, seal pups, washed up carrion like whale carcasses, Falkland steamer ducks, geese, herons, egrets, silver teal, chiloe wigeon, white tufted grebe, insects, worms, spiders, fish, and kelp geese. They have also been seen eating kelp and other ocean greenery and consume some native flora.
Human interactions with these canids is friendly, as they do not kill livestock and many of these wolves have been tamed on the island. Falkland wolves would also enter human settlements and act as friendly dogs within the island. They are the mascot of the islands of Argentina as they are a symbol of the island.
Questions and criticisms are welcomed.

2023.03.20 22:38 Far-Cup9063 Round 1, Plan for the grocery store
And we have our first report. I tried to attach upload the image from Imgur and Iâm kind of a rookie so Iâm not sure it uploaded. But I wanted all of you to share this very typical photo. When she saw I was taking pics I asked her if this was a Qualified Service Animal. She said it was an emotional support animal. I said that doesn't qualify as a Support Animal. Her witty response was âBitch!â
I finished my shopping then went to the service desk to get a copy of their Food Permit from the Environment Department. She let me take a picture and asked why I needed it. I explained, and told her I know what they are up against with people bringing in their non-Service dogs. She said âyou have no ideaâ, and âthey argue with the greeters and get really ugly and itâs not worth the argumentâ. I said I would be making complaints to the Environment Department and we would let them address this. She was totally fine with this. About 5 other employees were standing around listening.

2023.03.20 22:37 Saint_Circa My Friend Went Missing Because Of Me . . .
âSheâs a witch.â
âI think you said bitch wrong.â
Itâs hard to laugh when youâre exhausted, but Marti was never not able to get one out of us. Between panted breaths we laughed. Tommyâs face growing red with anger and embarrassment at the joke at his expense.
âIâm serious!â He managed to blurt when the laughter finally died down enough to get a word in.
âSo am I!â
Again, laughter erupted from the bottom of our thirteen year old hearts once more breaking the silence of the forest we were supposed to be hiding in if by chance the cops were actually called as a result of our impromptu prank just a few minutes prior.
Living in a small town meant a lot of boredom. Some kids had big problems like gang violence and drive-by shootings, drugs, and crippling poverty, and even though those problems existed for your typical small town Ohio kids, at least to some extent. Our biggest problem was always boredom.
As a matter of fact, every problem that every small town had ever had could probably be traced back to boredom in one way or another. Why is that guy doing heroin behind a Walmart? Because once upon a time he was sixteen and bored, so he stole some of grandmas pills. Why did the schools football teams locker building get burned down? Because some kid was bored and decided to ruin the football teamâs stuff. Why are there a bunch of kids laughing in the middle of the forest just outside of town? Same reason, they were bored and decided to ding dong ditch the senile old lady down the street.
If Iâd had known for half a second . . . If Iâd even had a hint of foresight about how everything wouldâve turned out for us then Iâd have suggested something else. Anything else, but hindsightâs 20/20. Especially for young kids.
âGuys, Iâm freakin serious. Okay?â Tommy doubled down. His fists now balled up. His voice breaking a little bit with the overwhelming irritability at the laughter. âAnyone whoâs ever messed with Ms. Abernanthy has been cursed.â
âCome on man.â I said trying to diffuse Tommyâs anger a little bit. âThereâs a lot of places in this world, beautiful places! Jamacia, Hawaii, Switzerland. All sorts of places a powerful witch could have a good ass life, and you think thereâs one living in that little brown double wide on Sycamore street? In London Ohio?â
A few more chuckles amongst the group of friends before Tommy finally resigned his argument with an exasperated sigh. As we came around from our fits of laughter and jokes we began to realize that the sun was setting.
âWow, what a surprise.â Charlie spoke up. âNo one cares that their doorbell got rang! Looks like our outlaw days are done yâalls. Just in time for dinner too. Convenient full pardons are convenient!â
âNo doubt.â I responded as the group made their way out of the forest and began to cut across the large meadow towards town. âMarti, you eating with us tonight? Dad says itâs fine.â
âAppreciate it dude, but mom says weâve got plans tonight. Weâll steal your dads Marlboros some other time okay?â
More laughter as the friend group split ways and headed home . . .

Diiing Doong
At first when I heard the doorbell ring, I just sort of brushed it off. Iâd thought that maybe it was just some part of a dream Iâd been having or something. Even in my almost full sleep state I knew that no one in their right mind would be ringing our doorbell at three in the morning. As I adjusted my pillow and threw my head back down on it though I heard it again. Resonating throughout the otherwise silent house in a way that was almost maliciously haunting given the time of night.
Ding

Diing Doong
It hadnât been my imagination. There was someone at the door. Before I could even get up however, I heard the gruff and commanding voice of my father as his heavy footsteps stammered groggily past my room.
âI swear to Christ if thatâs one of your goofy friends.â He mumbled to himself as he staggered past my room in his barely lucid state.
Several moments later I heard the front door open. Followed by my father shouting in surprise as several loud bangs and clashes filled the house with a chaotic cacophony of sound.
I ran out as quickly as I could towards the front room of the house to see my fathers silhouette fumbling for the light switch. As he turned it on, and my eyes adjusted to the sudden flash of light. I could see that he was intently scanning the front room. His bright green eyes bouncing back and forth like a radar scanner. Laying on the ground around him was a broken ash tray and several books that mustâve gotten knocked off of the shelf theyâd previously been resting on.
âWhat happened dad?â
Quickly he put his finger out in a sort of âstop talkingâ gesture as his eyes remained transfixed on the room around him. After a few moments of nerve wracking silence, he finally responded.
âThereâs a bat somewhere. Flew in when I opened the door.â
âWho rang the doorbell?â
As if remembering what it was the led us to the front room in the middle of the night in the first place my dad looked back over his shoulder to the wide open front door, and the dimly lit street beyond it. He peaked his head over the threshold and looked around for a moment before closing it.
âNo one . . . Some kids ding dong ditching maybe. Crazy ass teenagers, when do you guys even sleep nowadays?â
I laughed quietly at dadâs remark before looking around the front room to try and spot the bat.
âYouâd think itâd be freaking out or something you know? Like, fluttering around and trying to find a way out?â
âYeah . . . Youâd think.â
A thorough search of the front room gradually turned into a thorough search of the entire house, but aside from the fallen books and ash tray in the front room there was nothing amiss. Just another normal small-town house in its small town neighborhood. Finally after about an hour and a half of searching my dad threw his arms up in defeat.
âScrew it, guess heâs staying. I gotta get ready for work anyways. Go back to bed kid, weâll find it tomorrow. No one ever got killed by a stray bat.â
Although I wasnât necessarily comfortable with the idea of sharing a house with a wild animal for the night. I knew he was right. It was almost four thirty in the morning now, and I was tired. Besides, if itâs afraid then itâll probably just hide, and they sleep during the day so it shouldnât be a huge issue . . . Hopefully.
âAlright, night dad. Have a good day at work.â
âYeah. . . .â

I had just slipped into that sort of half realm between awake and asleep when I was abruptly brought back to consciousness by the doorbell ringing again. The red digital illumination of my alarm clock read 6:33am. I sighed to myself in annoyance and frustration as I turned over on my back to prepare to pull myself out of bed once again to try and discover who was ringing our doorbell again, and thatâs when I saw her.
Suspended from the ceiling upside down was the darkened shadow of a person. Long tangled hair draped low and messy, almost touching the floor. From within the tangled mess of hair were two bright yellow eyes that burned through me like fire. As I screamed and clambered my way to the headboard of my bed to try and pathetically create some distance between myself and this horrible thing in my room the figure reached its arms out in a sort of âcrucifixâ posture. From the aurora of its terrible yellow eyes I could see a wide mouth full of sharp teeth. I screamed again at the top of my lungs as the room filled itself with the mind numbing sound of the doorbell coming from the figures wide open mouth.
DIIIINNNNNNGGGGGG
DOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGG
DDIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGGGG
DDDOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGGGG
DIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGG
DOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGGGG
As the deafening noise trembled every ounce of my being the figure contorted its way off of the ceiling and plopped onto my bed in an awful and grotesque fashion. Even in my panicked state I couldnât understand how it couldâve moved the way it did without breaking its neck and spine.
I tried to make a jump from my bed to the door, but I wasnât quick enough. I got to the edge of the bed before I felt a tremendous weight pin me back on to the mattress and hold me down. Sitting on my chest was the figure. Those horrible eyes burrowing into my soul. That wicked mouth hanging open as if it were going to swallow me whole.
Sheâs a witch.
The memory of Tommyâs voice echoed in my head.
I donât know what came over me. I donât know if it was just the fear, and Tommy being the only name on my mind in that moment. I donât know if Iâm just a selfish coward. I just . . . Donât know, but as that god awful thing sat on top of me. As her mouth and those evil yellow eyes drew closer and closer to my face I shouted at the top of my fear fueled lungs.
âIT WAS TOMMY! IT WAS TOMMY! HE RANG YOUR DOORBELL! IT WAS TOMMY! PLEASE!â
Suddenly, with no warning, and no possible way of occurring. The weight was off of my chest, and the figure was gone.
I donât know how I managed to fall back asleep, maybe it was just the adrenaline dump that knocked me out, but before I knew it I was waking up to the image of my sun filled room.
After a lot of talking to myself. I had barely managed to convince myself that last nights events were just the result of a horrible dream. I had read somewhere that waking up in the middle of the night and then going back to sleep could result in very lucid dreams. That, I decided. Was what caused that awful dream.
Ding
Dong
Diiing
Doong.
I felt an anchor drop into my stomach as the doorbell rang. Slowly I made my way to the front door and with a lot of hesitation finally managed to open it.
Standing at the other side of the door was Tommyâs mom. A look of obvious concern on her face.
âDid . . . Uhm, Did Tommy by chance come to your house last night? Iâve been to everyoneâs house that he knows, and no oneâs seen him. I donât understand why he would just leave the house like that. Please. If you know something, please just tell me.â
They never found Tommy. Not even the faintest glimpse of a clue. Everyone eventually stopped looking for him after about a year. Everyone but his mom, she never stopped looking. She died last year. I heard she was staring expectantly at the hospital door the entire time. Waiting for her son to come walking through . . . The police say he either ran away, or was kidnapped and killed by some vagabond who had seen us in town the day prior.
Iâm the only one who truly knows what happened to him, and Iâve never been able to tell anyone that It was all my fault.
Tommy was right.

2023.03.20 22:37 Landylachs Announcing: G Gundam English Fan Translation project for "GUNDAM FIGHT ROUND 5" Character Album! (Just Completed!)
2023.03.20 22:37 Strict_Bed_6255 This show has helped me through some rough times
I gave birthday to my first child in July and had a tough emergency c-section, she was a cluster feeder and woke up constantly. I was in a lot of pain and needed to rest on the sofa. I started watching DH for the first time, I had seen a few episodes here and there but didn't know the storyline. Wow, this show has become my rock. I've struggled with postpartum depression and feeling lonely, I lost a lot of friends since becoming a mum and also I went back to work when my daughter was four months old, I'm working 30 hours a week, so I am always tired, and also just found out I'm pregnant again. DH is seriously my little treat in life right now, I look forward so much to the end of the day when I can sit down and watch an episode and really get stuck into the storylines of all the characters. I feel like I live and breathe everything that goes on on Wisteria Lane, maybe it sounds stupid but I don't have much in my life right now in terms of hobbies or free time, and this show cheers me up so much and allows me to have a little escape. I will always associate this period of my life with DH and I'm so glad I have been watching it. A lot of the life lessons about relationships and families have really resonated with me. Currently half way through season 6. A truly one-of-a-kind show.
