First time posting on Reddit, so please bare with me. Long post ahead.
So may nag reach out sakin sa LinkedIn about a dropshipping subscription business a few months back. I am currently helping out sa family business ko and hindi ako open sa idea of it. Since yung relative ko na CPA may shit ton of corporate experience, I asked them for advice since wala akong proper mapagtanungan at that time. My relative said hindi sya super familiar with it pero if it's for "extra income", wala naman daw siguro mawawala. My mistake was just going for it blindly without proper research.
So, pumayag ako. I thought yung drop shipping business na yun was just for a small businesses and in the first online meet up namin ng coach ko, nagshare lang sya ng reflection (that lasted like an hour or something) about how he dreams of financial freedom kuno. Sabi ko, sige, I can try with the agreed term namin na "wala namang mawawala diba?". Keyword: TRY. I mean, I have knowledge naman on e-commerce marketing and since side hustle lang naman to, I thought this should be no biggie. Literally moments after, he asked if he can take a picture of our meeting and when I agreed, he took the photo and posted it on the official Facebook page ng kanilang community officially announcing how I'm officially part of their org now. He never asked me if it was okay to put my face there on Facebook; he just asked me if it was okay if he were to take a photo. Inisip ko na lang, "maybe normal ito" since he technically did ask for a photo of me, though I felt like I was gaslighting myself. At that point, I still didn't know anything about our supposed corporate partner.
Dumating ang next week and ininvite ako ni coach for an online business briefing. I was expecting the participants to be filled with other curious brand affiliates like myself. Lo and behold, ang dami ko nakitang mga old people, with seemingly big names and as if matagal na sila dito. The lot of them introduced themselves as brand directors, brand partners, and brand representatives. I felt like I was the odd one out na walang kaalam alam sa mga nangyayari. It was later revealed na yung corporate partner namin is Nu Skin. Nung narinig ko yun naisip ko shit, ni never ko ngang narinig tong brand na to despite how many times nilang diniin sakin na well established si Nu Skin and napaka taas ng success rates ng mga distributors dito. They assured that as a brand rep, I can earn something like 5k to 50k a month or something with "very little things to do".
Dumating ulit the following week, coach had to sit me through another meeting. This time, mga dapat kong gawin as a brand affiliate: share the products and may makukuha akong 5% sharing bonus and also magrecruit ng other distributors para may makuha rin akong % of profit from them. So, hindi man lang discrete si coach over the fact na he just profited off my involvement here. Also, dun na nag simula how gaano sya ka insistent na dapat bumili ako ng isa sa mga products para magkaron ako ng passion for them. I was taken aback, akala ko ba nag agree ako dito under the mindset na "walang mawawala sakin"? Yung product na highly nilang nirerecommend sakin was quite pricey, too. Hell, yung products nila, if anything ang pricey. No wonder they have, like, free shipping days per week. Ang daming established beauty brands out there, who would wanna buy from this kung ganito sya ka expensive?
Another week came, this time Millionaire's Online Conference daw or something. They had me sit through a meeting of mga successful brand directors and partners of Nu Skin. The entire online presentation was just them showing off how they've all been through so many countries (some of them with wild claims at how they've traveled nearly the entire world) with 100% full funding of Nu Skin. I thought, "if ganito kataas supposedly ang success rate ng brand distributors, then how come hindi gasinong kakilala pa rin ang Nu Skin sa market?". When it was the time for the pinaka head na director na magsalita, my mind was blank and uninterested until may sinabi sya na "You have to be completely braindead if you fail to see the benefits of this business". I kinda felt attacked. I was asking myself why they're all so hellbent at convincing me to take part in this. After the conference, I was sent to a breakout room with my coach wherein they had me share a reflection and I pretended to be interested but if anyything, I felt overwhelmed. Once again, he just insisted na I buy some Nu Skin's products so I can have more passion for them. I still didn't give in.
Ilang weeks ang lumipas, same old, same old. At this rate, nagsearch na ko everything about Nu Skin and I've yet to find anything genuinely positive since MLM business nga to, prone to the possibility of a pyramid scheme. Nabasa ko risky raw dito kasi usually sa MLM businesses mas focused ang distributors with recruiting other distributors rather than getting their products sold, which likely never happens. I even found Nu Skin PH's official YT page and the videos have their comments turned off. I'm not sure if I was just looking at the wrong places. At this point, dun na ko nagstart mag slowly dissociate. Tatlong meetings na ang nakalipas na inabsentan ko. A lot has been happening personally that I'd rather focus on. Recently, they had me attend this brand affiliate training and once again, the same things: use the product, share them. They want all of us to share our own success stories and I have none kasi nga skeptical ako so I just left the meeting early since I was out of town at the time with very poor internet connection. Right now, they're urging me to attend next week's meeting on how to "create your own transformation story". Basically, parang ang daming gagawin and I'm not even certain if the benefits outweigh the risks.
Needless to say, skeptical ako. I'm not sure if talagang "braindead" nga lang ako for failing to see the benefits in this but what do you think? I'm technically still just starting, so I'm not sure if masyadong judgey lang ako over this. Maybe I'm just failing to see the silver linings? I have little to no idea how this ACTUALLY works and I can't trust these people within this organization kasi parang they suffer from toxic positivity. Their meetings consist of 90% "This is great!" while 10% ano ba talaga dapat mong gawin. That's why I took to Reddit, is it safe for me to stay or is this a scam and I should run? And even if nagbackout ako dito, how can I tell them without the risk of them possibly chasing after me? Do I just slowly ghost them or what? I know it's stupid of me that I got myself involved in this. If anything, I'm embarassed nga to be posting this here. But, what should I do?

Alright we all know the potential pain for those illiquid under performers we own coming into EOFY, that also presents an opportunity to get slotted on low ball bids for those lucky enough to have cash to deploy.
Interested to hear where people are seeing deep value opportunity in liquid or illiquid names that are or likely to come under pressure thanks to the EOFY spring cleaning of portfolios as people cut their 'dogs' they may have paid the top tick for on the last pump???
Whilst I've got my eye on a couple of names on the watchlist that I have been tracking for a while, Iam interested where else opportunities may exist off the back of forced / impatient selling into the end of the month?
On the flip side of those exiting positions in an effort to clean up their performance drag + red optics within the portfolio, I've got one name that people might want to consider looking at rolling their loose change in to in an effort to recover some of their losses sustained. It's not so much a play on what i've mentioned above, but more a real opportunity to add performance with potentially low risk over the coming 3 - 6 - 12 months.
At the current price you can likely pick up many more shares for those that are being sold to move on tax losses, hence you'll feel like you own more of something with a chance vs less of the rubbish you just sold lol!
IMO I think this name has a 25% downside risk and offers a potential 3 - 5x uplift from the current price over the next 3 - 6 months and i'll outline my reasons why below:
$DLT - Delta Drone (about to change it's name to RocketDNA) - $5.5mil EV + $2.5mil cash - At cash flow break even = very low chance of further capital being raised for operational activities - Genuine reason as to why the share price was taken down from 10c to the ultimate low of .005c earlier this year of the back of the ex largest shareholder being a distressed seller and has ultimately been taken out. - Business is growing nicely as they convert many of the 1yr customers to longer term 3yr+ contracts to deliver recurring and higher revenue for services being provided - Low shares on issue ~517mil - Solid register with 4 decent micro cap fund managers on board that all have the ability to take the share price much higher if / when they choose to increase their positions, all coming on thanks to taking the ex largest holder out. - Worth having a read of the Corporate deck release for the AGM to get a picture of the opportunity they are delivering - Hardly spoken about on forums / relatively unknown + new brokers being introduced to the company at present to lift broader market engagement moving forward = more eyes on the story incoming
There's more to it than those points listed above, but that's the 5min version. If you are serious about looking for a name that could possibly deliver something meaningful with less risk than you've been used to, it's worth lifting the lid to research further at a minimum
The question I ask to you is what do you think a fair market EV is for a company generating ~$6mil revenue annually, moving into cash flow positive territory with new products to market (Ai featured drone mapping) that customers are signing on for?
I think it can trade back into the $10m - $20mil EV range (2.5c - 4c's) without a great deal of effort in the short term as the market starts to price this more reasonably. Iam personally looking for a move in the 5c - 10c range to be unlocked in the short - medium term and will re-assess 'fair value' at that point in time based on revenue / cashflow / contracts etc.

After some thought I’ve decided to become incorporated-S corp in particular. I’m unsure how to start the process but want to get it squared away as quickly as possible. I’ve only been licensed for about 8 months and my income keeps rising. I’m up to 5 employees. I currently have a business bank account with its own EIN. I’ve also put myself on payroll- just to contribute a bit more taxes (not sure if this will hurt me or help me come tax time) and have an IRA set up for myself and employees. With that being said I’ve looked into legal zoom and some other online programs. Would this be the simplest route in becoming incorporated? Or should I contact a CPA or attorney. Any suggestions are appreciated!
