2023.06.07 10:21 Business_Window_6232 NEVER unmasking again

I was group forming for an assignmet at university and tried unmasking. Before i would be able to pass as a "below average person" who just barely had enough social skills when i masked as hard as i could. I thought maybe lets try once to unmask and see how it goes. OMFG. I was speaking to this girl and she looked so insanely creeped out by me and made an excuse and sat at another table. I was like huh weird why she act like that??? I went and talked to a dude in another table and he was like also saying 'yeh yeh' and looking at his friend with a smile on his face like he was trying not to laught at me. I went to another girl and tried building a rapport so that i could ask if we could be in a group. She again appeared very creeped out or disinterested in a way. She made fake conversatino giving me very one worded replies, etc and never looking at me whilst hugging herself and clsoing her arms around her chest. She again left and went to a diffferent table. Some guy shouted "who let bro cook?" and everyone started laughing.
I am never unmasking again. I dont care if am a 5 foot 6 19 year old indian man who is balding and has aspergers. I will mask and mask and keep trying to maximise my looks and money and anything else that NTs take for granted. I will never let anyone tell me again that "NTs have a hard life too". No. They do not. If you believe this than you are probably not a balding short indian guy who also has aspergers living in a white majoirty nation because you have no idea what it is like. The idea that the people in my life who have bullied me, who have taken advantage of me, who have rejected me from their frined groups, (and on and on) are all staring into a girl's eyes and saying "i love you" whilst they cuddle in a nice warm bed and revisit memories they made with friends whilst i am seen as a weird creep makes me feel something beyond jealousy and anger. I cant decsribe the feeling. Its so strong that it creates the opposite effect. I feel sorry for them. I feel sorry for them because of what im going to show them. Im going to achieve everythign that they said or implied i couldnt. Im going to find that special beautiful person who loves me equally. Im going to get this IT degree. Im going to work long hours at a part time job. Im going to get promoted to manager. Im going to have lots of friends and amazing close friends. Im going to retire my mom. Im going to get in such good shape and regrow my hair and look so good that they start feeling insecure about themselves looking in the mirror. Im going to introduce them to my beautiful wife in the future and indulge in the jealous stares they give her and me. Im going to show off my huge salary and house. I dont care if i die from exhausting trying to achieve these things or have a brain aneurysm in my extremely tiring attempts at masking. I will not let this slide. Just let me cook bro.....

2023.06.07 10:10 Nearby_Magazine_7423 Carelessness by MG Dealership

Our car was booked in 2021 end. And it was delivered in mid 2022. Because of delay in delivery, they offered gifts to those cutomers who had booked their cars before 2022. And we contacted our nearest dealership and chose a specific gift. It was basically an accessory: car refrigerator. It costs around 27k if u buy it directly from MG. But we were supposed to receive it for free. And they kept delaying it for over a year and asked us to write an e-mail to MG regarding it. They suggested the e-mail idea very late and we too didn't pay much attention to it. They always gave an explanation that the refrigerator was available at some other dealership in our state. And we recently visited that particular dealership which was supposed to prvide the refrigerator. They told us that the offer has expired and since we didn't write any e-mail, we can't avail it. Imo it was their fault since they kept delaying it for a year. And now they're pushing the blame on us. What's the logic of an offer expiring if it's supposed to be for a limited number of people?

2023.06.07 09:54 notofi07 Symbolic gift for teenage family member?

So I will soon see my family after not seeing them for a while, grandmas, uncles and all so I will buy them gifts, but I don't know what to buy to my 15 year old niece. She's a girl, and in art school, and she shared a lot of her struggles with me (via phone) how her older brother emotionally abused her and he is the favorite sibling. I feel bad for her and I was thinking about buying her something symbolic but I don't know what. I won't see her again in a while. I want to have a "stay strong" kind of message in my gift.
Any ideas?

2023.06.07 09:52 Slebba Questions about PLAYERS CHOICE

Hi everyone,

i've got some questions about the "season pass"

  1. i didnt buy the all access pass but i can still use it, why?
  2. What is The difference between the "free" and "all acces" row? The amount of points needed for a prize? Or does the gift boxes on the free route give you less exclusive presents?
  3. What is the best tactic on spending your points? I just started this game so i opened all the gift boxes. But is opening up diamonds and stars a better idea? x
  4. if this season closes, will there be another one straight away?

2023.06.07 08:29 Honest-Caregiver6230 ATSV vs ITSV

I thing across the spider verse was written in a much different way compared to into the spider verse. Even though ITSV was supposed to be the "spiderman multiverse movie", it was still very personal and was pretty focused on miles Morales while using the multiverse as a catalyst, to develop mile's character and create a conflict in the story with kingpin. Whereas ATSV has focused much more on the multiverse, the consequences miles had to face because of it and the general idea of what being spiderman means, what it means to be a young person who has a curse in the form of a gift, someone doomed to lose everyone and still strive to do the right thing, being a true hero. ATSV might just be the first superhero movie which taps the full potential of concept of the multiverse, excited to see what we have in store for BTSV. Which leads me to the conclusion that ITSV and ATSV just can't be compared, because ATSV is not the kind of sequel that we have been seeing for so long. Both movies are part of a large story, whereas a lot of people might be expecting a movie which has the same structure and beats just in continuation the context of the first one. This sequel does the job of moving the story forward instead of a one time entertainer. Even though both the movies have the same characters and concepts, ultimately, at the end of the day, they strive to strike very different chords.

2023.06.07 08:13 flimflamparent I have no idea what to say to my unwed pregnant daughter

I feel like a sham of a parent! I know she is looking to me for advice that will point her in a direction, but she is the one that ultimately has to make a decision and life with the consequences of that decision.
She is 24yo. The last.5 years have been difficult. SA by a trusted family member sent her I to a mental health tailspin. She has managed to right the ship some, but still has quite a way to go.
He current boyfriend (well ex as of 2 days ago) is what I would consider a narcissist as emotionally abusive. The started living together 1 month into the relationship. One and half years later and she finally go fed up enough to get away. Then she finds out she's pregnant.
She wants the baby, but not HIS baby, or the lifetime tether that would have. She works as a waitress at a place that's too slow to make any kind of real money. She move back home 3 months ago at the first BF split. But continued to go on dates (and obviously more). So providing for a baby alone would be near impossible. She has no real tract record of follow through on anything. Even before the SA.
She doesn't want to carry it to term and give it up because her cynical world view of people makes her believe the baby would more than likely end up in a crappy situation.
She doesn't believe in abortion, but believes this is her only option. I ask questions to illicit thoughts or plans on her part. DH and I can't raise a baby. He's on disability retirement and I have to work. We are prepared to be supportive grandparents of need be, but the financial toll of the last 5 years and her habitually making irresponsible decisions have made us cut of money support even prior to this situation. we are in a hotel in a different state because we live in a ban state. She is scheduled for tomorrow morning. And I feel like a worthless parent for not being able to give her what I belive she is wanting from me......a decision that absolves her of having to make a tough decision.
I have no idea what to say anymore. I'm here in this hotel not because I've pushed her to be here. I'm here because I told her I would be there for her regardless of her decision, short of raising it.
Has anyone out there been in this position? What helped? What hurt? I'm as lost as she is!

2023.06.07 08:13 Tasty_Ordinary9016 AITA for Skipping my Biological Daughters Graduation to Attend my Potential Step Kids Instead

I (41M) have an ex which I have 3 children with, one of which recently had her high school graduation. My daughter Angie(17F, late birthday) invited me to her graduation, and I’d said I’d be there. I am currently in a committed relationship to my girlfriend of a few months (41F), who has a daughter Lauren (24F). Lauren recently graduated with a bachelors in biology.
A week before the graduations, I was then given an invite by my girlfriend and Lauren to her graduation. Her father passed away and she told me it would mean the world to have someone there to support her in his place. I agreed before learning what the date and time of the event was.
Day of the graduation, I’m getting ready to head over to Angie and her mothers house to head off to the ceremony. My girlfriend asks me why I’m getting ready to early, so I explain its in two hours, got an hours drive and want to make sure I’m there on time so I don’t hold them up, as well as travel time to the venue - then she cuts me off to say that she had no idea that was today, and told me today was also Laurens graduation. Laurens ceremony was 3 hours after the start time of Angie's graduation. I did some math and figured I had time to at least be partially present for Angie’s graduation, give her the gift I had for her, and take some pictures beforehand, but my girlfriend was not too happy with the idea. Stating it would be devastating if I didn’t keep my promise to Lauren, and that I wouldn’t be “stepfather material” if I blew her off like that. I tried to explain I'd still be there for the entirety of Laurens ceremony with this plan but she just wouldn't listen, but wouldn't give me any reason why either besides just me "owing it to her" and her daughter.
I let that get the best of me and gave Angie a call, told her I was having issues with my car and wouldn’t be able to attend, however I would see her as soon as I could to get the gifts and take her out to dinner to celebrate with me. I went to Lauren's ceremony later in the day. Of course I was in some of the pictures, which were posted on Facebook and I was tagged in them. My wife, and probably Angie too, saw the photos on my page.
My ex wife is livid, saying I betrayed my daughter and blew her off for some other kid I barely know or have any responsibility for. I tried to play it off like we took Laurens car there but she didn’t listen. She said I could have done better, could’ve done more, with stuff like uber and lyft I could’ve gotten a ride if I cared enough to see her and pay the fees but I just decided not to and I don’t deserve to be in her life anymore. Angie isn’t responding to my calls to set up our agreed upon dinner date to celebrate her achievement. AITA, or are they just blowing things out of proportion ? I can understand how not even bothering to attend partially would make me TA, but I figured planning a day just for her separately would make up for that, am I wrong?
Edit : me and Angie were never close. She's what I considered my "different/boring" child. Always on her phone around me, we never shared any interests, its not like we were buddy buddy. Angie always had social problems. I am quite close to Lauren. Shes very funny and outgoing, enjoys engaging in conversation/debate with me. - Added since someone said I barely knew Lauren.

2023.06.07 07:32 MisterPoohead2 Eldritch Knight Hexbladesinger Multi

Eldritch Knight / Hexbladesinger MC
Picture a stout dwarf in plate mail, charging toward the foe with a shield and warhammer in tow. He swings, staggering the enemy back 5' just before he unleashes a barrage of eldritch force at the same foe, pulling them right back into the melee before clubbing them once more. That's my idea for this multiclassing abomination. But what do y'all think?
The final build is: Eldritch Knight 8, Hexblade 2, Bladesinger 9, with 1 level left for whatever.
Feats taken (in order) are: Gift of the Gem Dragon, Crusher, Gunner, Resilient (Int).
Invocations: Grasp of Hadar and Repelling Blast
PB Starting Stats: 11 STR, 13 DEX, 15 (+2) CON, 13 INT, 8 WIS, 17 (+2) CHA
Final Stats: 11 STR, 14 DEX, 16 CON, 14 INT, 8 WIS, 18 CHA
What do y'all think? Does the build seem viable, even if suboptimal? Really open to suggestions and concerns!

2023.06.07 06:51 pokethat First time Subaru owner

First time Subaru owner
Overall feeling: This is my first car in 13 years. Got a 2023 outback onyx XT 2 weeks ago. It's amazing so far but for the usual infotainment quibbles.
I've already put on some tux mats, I installed auto-dimming side mirrors myself, and put on the rear bumper coveprotector so my dogs don't scuff it up.
This is a ridiculous upgrade from trusty kia compact sedan that was threatening to go into limp mode on the freeway on the way to the dealership.
I did get it a few grand under msrp, yay Costco auto program.
I kind of wanted the wilderness but I didn't care for the extra cost or the lower gearing and softer suspension for my mostly pavement driving. The Forester wilderness looked awesome too but the lack of a 200hp+ option made me gravitate away from it.
I figure I can do a conservative lift down the line and get some of the recommended all-terrains for most of benefit of the wilderness trim. I will say that after discovering that dual x-mode works beyond 25 mph on the wilderness and not the onyx XT makes me a bit sad because launching with it on streets makes the car seem like a rocket.
Future upgrades/accessories: -Replacing factory door speakers and tweeters -Noise deadening while speaker upgrade is happening (maybe) -Auto start stop eliminator (turbo bearing oil burning paranoia) -subaru rear seat cover - Subaru wind/rain window deflectors so I can crack the windows when I'm car camping. -mudflaps (mostly for looks) -undecided on front strut bar and stiffer rear sway bar.
General questions: I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to crossbars. I'd like to add a cargo carrier and another thing on top but a guide for dos and donts with the factory rails and bars would be appreciated. Apparently the stock twisty ones aren't super wide? If I get a kayak mount and put a modest kayak on it do I need cables in the front and back, and does that kill eyesight?
Is the official hitch worth it? I don't feel like diy cutting up my bumper with a Dremel. I'd mostly be putting bike racks or a small cargo rack on it, maybe towing a small trailer thing one day. Would you guys recommend foagainst the Curt 2" option(s)? Are there any clearance issues with these (departure angle i think it's called)? Would I have to cut into the bumper to install a Curt hitch?
Would you recommend the official Subaru mudflaps or are 3rd party nicer?
Do 2023s still have parasitic drain and battery issues? I've not run it anything and I've been car camping twice already.

2023.06.07 06:47 Crash_Bandigube_23 Is it too early for a gift?

So I (28F) met a guy (24M) through mutual friends 12 days ago. We hung out as a group then he asked me out on a date the next day and it went well. Since then we’ve been talking on Snapchat every day, ( a 5 or so snaps each, we’re both pretty busy). Within a week we became each others #1 best friend on snap. In person he’s definitely more open in comparison to snap/messaging. It could be that he’s just not a texting person, or he’s just a bit emotionally guarded and he opens up more in person. Ok so his birthday is today (it’s 12:30am rn) and I only know this because it says so on snap. My question is, is it too early for me to get him a gift? His wallet recently got ruined so I thought a simple $30 one would be fine. I do have a very generous personality so I just wanted to check to see if this is a good idea or if it would freak him out? 😅 advice is appreciated, thank you for your time!

2023.06.07 06:47 zevaraati Best gift ideas for someone who loves jewellery

A good gift for someone who loves jewellery depends on their personal style and preferences. Here are some ideas that could be suitable for a jewellery lover:
1. Customised Jewellery: Consider getting a piece of custom jewellery design with their name, initials, birthstone, or a special message. Customised necklaces, bracelets, or rings can make thoughtful and unique gifts.
2. Gemstone Jewellery: If you know their gemstone, consider gifting them a piece of jewellery featuring their gemstone. It could be a ring, necklace, earrings, or a bracelet.
3. Statement Piece: If they enjoy bold and eye-catching jewellery, consider gifting them a statement piece. Look for a large diamond pendant necklace, a chunky bracelet, or a pair of statement earrings that align with their taste.
4. Designer or Fine Jewellery: If you're looking for a more luxurious gift, consider a piece of designer or fine jewellery. Look for renowned diamond jewellery manufacturer known for their craftsmanship and quality.
5. Jewellery Box or Organizer: Help them keep their jewellery collection organised with a stylish jewellery box or organizer. Look for one with compartments, drawers, and hooks to store different types of jewellery.
Remember to consider their personal style, preferences, and any specific requests they may have expressed in the past. Taking their individual taste into account will make the gift even more special and meaningful.

2023.06.07 06:46 julufish00 gashapon pricing?

hi, so I crochet for my small business and do artist alleys and crafts fairs. I have these tiny triceratops products (in a variety of colors) and I had this idea to diy a cardboard gashapon/toy capsule machine for the display and customer interaction. I'd put the triceratops in these capsule balls and have my customers pay for a turn and give them a coin to use the machine. Could anyone help me gauge how to price them? I usually sell them for $10 and I'm not sure how to or if I should adjust the prices considering they don't get to chose the color. any help or comments are appreciated :)

A special request from my fellows
My fellow sitters , I have a special request
One of my first clients four years ago, was Nike’s parents. Nike was a sweet, super senior German Shepherd. I spent two years caring for dear Nike before we lost her at 14. Nike’s parents became Bader’s parents. Over the last four years, they have become my nearest and dearest clients. Last year, Bader’s Dad retired and shortly after became very ill.
The kindest, gentlest soul I have ever met was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia. The gift of blood is the gift of life and the ability to keep fighting for many patients like Bader’s Dad. In the last month, he has received over 24 blood transfusions. Bader’s Dad is not doing well right now and it’s uncertain what his journey may hold. Why am I posting here ? My heart is broken and I know that there isn’t much that I can actually do for my favorite people. The pain of being helpless is overwhelming. I have reached out to my client list and offered a free service for any blood donation done in Bader’s Dads honor. If anyone would like to help me lift Bader’s Dads spirits and give the gift of life to all that are desperately in need, please consider a whole blood donation. I am happy to accept a selfie or any photo with a note saying for Bader’s Dad or any words of encouragement to pass along. I appreciate anyone that took the time to read this or feels the tug of their heart to donate. Thank you truly.
