2023.06.07 03:38 MortgageMoist4514 Underrated Game Finder V0.1 is out!
| I know for a fact that you are tired of these front page games, that are literally just cashgrabs, a game you’ve played to much it’s just not fun anymore, or simply just games that don’t for full your interest. I know you want to play all of these unique and fun roblox games, not just mindless copies, but are having troubles finding them. Well then you need to check out Underrated Game Finder. Underrated game finder is pretty much the Roblox Front Page 2.0. It is getting over 10 new underrated games every day, and is receiving constant updates, changes and more. We have different genres to choose from, tons of updates planned, and it’s not even the full release yet. I decided to create this project because of the constant whining and posts on discord, Reddit, twitter and beyond of people saying how horrible the front page is, and how the games are dog poo and how underrated and smaller games are so hard to find, thanks to Roblox. That got me thinking, what if I made a game that not only promoted these smaller games for free but ALSO gave the Roblox community a plethora of fun games to play! Then I got to work :muscle: COMING SOON: Mirror of the Roblox front page instead of scroll gui and list. GUI updates to make them less plain. Randomizer button to find a random game to play. Add-your-game type system, where you can request to add a game. AND MORE! Note: The game is not free to play as of right now. I plan to use the funds I make from the game to be able to pay those who request to add games. I am also constantly looking for new games to add myself, and have a list of over 80 guaranteed, I am currently adding them. And as of right now, comment your game request below. The community server will release shortly. Thanks! Link: https://www.roblox.com/games/13477867301/Underrated-Game-Finder submitted by MortgageMoist4514 to roblox [link] [comments] |

oof is a FC that provides content and help to sprouts, vets and everyone in between, along with different daily, weekly activities, contests and events. We're looking to build a casual and laid back FC that's friendly and a home away from home. Our goal is to provide an FC for everyone. An FC where sprouts can get help with raids, dungeons or tips as they move through MSQ, where you could get a group together for savage raiding or extremes, go ocean fishing, gathering events or even do craft offs. We always have level two buffs up for exp and teleports, but we hope to have future crafting and gathering events where we'll provide special buffs for them. There will also be special weekends here and there where we will do level three buffs.
We currently have a beautiful medium in Shiro with great neighbors. Feel free to visit us and check us out first if you're unsure at Plot 8, 25 Ward, Shirogane . We'll love to answer any question you may have or just get to know you.

2023.06.06 18:48 Old_Zagreus Online coop game request!
Hey friends!
I’m looking for online games to meet new people and play through campaigns/enjoy content with a community.
I’ve posted similar title before to no avail. I’ve tried games like destiny 2 and ESO to no real luck. Games being out for so long and me being so far behind it’s been difficult to insert myself into communities that have been around for a decade. No one is running beginning game content, beginner dungeons, replaying early game campaign ect.
My question is if there are more recent titles people know of that I can explore?
I’ve thought of diablo IV but heard there’s no “matchmaking” or group finder mechanic for raids dungeons campaigns ect. (The campaign is easy u don’t need a group) -It’s not difficulty it’s the social experience I’m craving.
FFiv being another but after ESO I’m worried of a game being so old and too far ahead to really enjoy new content with other players.
Can anyone please help me? Any comments are appreciated!

2023.06.06 17:03 ngmcs8203 /r/oaklandathletics and the June 12-14 Reddit Blackout to Protest the API Pricing Changes
(This post has been modified from our mod friends at
/ffxiv with their permission.)
On behalf of the
/oaklandathletics mod team: while this isn't A's related, we know that time is of the essence for this message and the change will affect a large majority of our community as well as those across reddit.
What's happening?
API Pricing Changes Reddit recently announced major pricing changes to their API, which is the software interface that all major 3rd party applications and bots rely upon to function.
These pricing changes are so extreme that all major apps will be forced to cease operating as they cannot bear the costs. As an example, the developer of
Apollo revealed they would be forced to pay reddit upwards of
$20 million USD/year just to continue operating under the new pricing scheme.
The consensus from the developers behind these apps is that reddit is trying to price them out of existence in order to force users to switch to the official reddit mobile app. Not only will they be forced to pay ridiculous sums (which they cannot cover) to maintain access to the API, changes to the ToS also prohibit these apps from using ad revenue to offset the new costs.
You can find some of their statements below:
NSFW & Mature Content In addition to restricting API access behind a ludicrous pricing scheme, reddit is also planning on severely restricting 3rd party applications' access to NSFW/mature content. This will not only make the job of moderating NSFW communities significantly harder for humans, but also largely cripple 3rd party moderation bots that rely on being able to view NSFW content across multiple subreddits. Without the functions these bots provide, reddit is creating massive vulnerabilities in the areas of anti-spam and user safety.
As an example, some communities which focus on serving underage users may use 3rd party bots to automatically detect and remove accounts with a history of posting NSFW/mature content. Additionally there are other 3rd party bots that use comment history to proactively seek out and remove NSFW spam or even help detect and remove possible revenge porn or illegal underage content.
How will this affect me?
Any users who rely on 3rd party applications (like those above) to browse reddit will find that
the apps will cease to function after July 1, when the pricing change goes into effect.
In addition, NSFW communities will likely see a large uptick in spam and potentially illegal/harmful content. It's possible that many of these communities will be forced to close if the human moderators responsible for them feel they can no longer keep their community safe without the proper tools these bots and 3rd party apps provide. Even subreddits like ours have to deal with a steady influx of NSFW spam, so these changes could have ramifications for the entire site.
While it has never been explicitly stated by reddit, there is also a large concern that this move to consolidate mobile users to the official app could be a sign that they are planning to fully deprecate the old version of their desktop site (old.reddit.com) in order to consolidate users on the redesign as well.
What can we do to stop this?
Moderators from hundreds of communities across reddit have drafted and signed an open letter to reddit, asking them to reconsider the pricing scheme and to recognize the role that 3rd party apps have played in reddit's ongoing success. You can read the open letter here:
Should the open letter fall on deaf ears, many communities are also preparing subreddit blackouts in protest from June 12-14. This type of protest
has been used to great effect in the past, however it is also highly disruptive to the communities participating.
Many major news publications have written about the event such as:
https://www.theverge.com/2023/6/5/23749188/reddit-subreddit-private-protest-api-changes-apollo-charges As the mod team for this community, our primary goal is to make sure we are serving you all to the best of our ability. We feel strongly that this is a worthy cause and that the outcome will have a massive effect on the future viability and success of the entire platform. We want to join the 500+ communities that have already committed to this action and demonstrate that our community answers the call in times of need.
However, we won't do it without you. The decision to blackout the subreddit should not be made by the mod team alone. Please share your thoughts, ask your questions, and let us know if you feel this is something we should be a part of. The mod team will do our best to answer any questions we can and we promise that any action we take (or don't) will be based on the will of our community.
We are including a poll to get the temperature of the subreddit in regards to the topic and for those who simply want to voice their opinion with a vote. We understand that this coincides with the June 13 reverse boycott, but feel this is a worthy cause.
Respectfully,
The
/oaklandathletics mod team

2023.06.06 09:30 aquirkysoul If you were to adapt FFXIV (A Realm Reborn-Endwalker) into a tabletop roleplaying campaign...
Spoilers below.
After getting sucked into FFXIV and being rewarded with some of my favourite gaming experiences of my 30 years of gaming, I have been thinking off-and-on about whether it would be possible to adapt it into a tabletop RPG campaign.
It's part thought experiment, part just because it'd be really cool, and part "My friends will never play this on their own".
Rather than keeping it as a solitary thought experiment, I thought I'd write up a list of things that I'm stuck on, notes, etc, and get community feedback. Feel free to expand on any that catch your interest, add your own, yada yada:
Sticking Point: Warrior(s) of Light.
In the beginning of ARR, it's implied that the player is one of multiple "Warriors" who saved the world, but the plot corrects course quickly to the Warrior of Light being a post that's basically just operated by your character (on the Source, at least). Later expansions even define that your character was Azem, which adds impact to the info you are finding out about the Ascians/Ancients at that time.
However, most TRPG plots generally work best if there isn't a "main character", which is probably the biggest complication if you were looking to run the plot more or less "as is".
Interested to see if the community has any ideas on this.
Requirement: Streamlining the plot
Even if you just look at the MSQ, there hundreds of quests between the beginning of ARR and the end of 5.0. Some of it could be easily removed, or trimmed down.
Examples in ARR alone: A good chunk of the starting experience, the Company of Heroes arc, fighting each primal 2-3 times (in fact, most of the regular duties can go), most of Cid's arc, most of the post-ARR content.
What parts of the story do you believe are "required" for the story, and which can be left by the wayside? Is there anything you'd communicate to players differently? I'd imagine that most players wouldn't sit mutely through all the Scions blather that our poor WoL did.
Plot: May as well tune it up while we are here
I couldn't stand the Ascians until Shadowbringers, and not in a "I love to hate them" kind of way. I rolled my eyes every time they showed up, because they were generic robed evil guys who would show up, say something cryptic, make me fight a monster before managing to escape with no injury - in fact, they were so generic that I actually missed when Lahabrea died, I'd retained no memory of that entire boss fight.
Shadowbringers did a lot to 'redeem' them but it got me thinking: if you could take the opportunity to improve the plot by foreshadowing/adding context/playing a character differently/etc, what would you do?
Undeveloped details that could have gameplay ramifications: teleportation is common, everyone is technically magic (except Thancred), there are a bunch of ways that the players could really derail the plot if so motivated)
Anyway, look forward to hearing the response of any TRPG nerd like me who enjoys rambling about hypotheticals.

2023.06.06 07:44 EzyStevey Soken wild rock confirmed for FFXVI?
https://www.gameinformer.com/exclusive-feature/2023/06/05/the-music-of-final-fantasy-16-part-4-the-sound "He didn't want us to go off into too many tangents and go too crazy with it," Soken says. "There was one battle with a certain Eikon and after playing it, I thought, 'There's no way I can do this in classical. I want to do something different. I want to step away from classical and do something entirely different.' So I composed a piece that was totally not classical. And without telling anyone, I put it in the game and let the development team play it, and the feedback that I got was that they really, really liked it even though it wasn't classical. They felt that it really, really fit the battle."
Soken remained tightlipped on which Eikon fight he was referencing, but he did tease something I think will be of interest to those tuned into the FFXIV community: Not only did localization director Michael-Christopher Koji Fox write the lyrics featured on this track, but he also sang for it.

2023.06.06 05:47 violetqed 30/PST - switch, ps5, retro consoles, and PC
Hi everyone, it’s been a long time since I’ve had gamer friends or even online friends. I’m getting a PC again this week, so I’m hoping to get into more social games again. I play a lot of single player though, so it’d also be fun to talk to others about single player and retro games, trade recommendations, etc.
I’m usually free after around 6pm Pacific on weekdays and don’t tend to do much on weekends. Voice chat is best but text ok too.
About me:
- I grew up with Nintendo consoles only and am only recently getting to play Playstation 1-5 and Xbox games for the first time
- I have a decently sized physical collection of Switch, DS, 3DS, PSP, Vita, PS1-5, Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbone games which has been fun to build up
- I used to play a lot of mobas, Overwatch, POE, and MMORPGs but the monetization and incentive structures on most of those games today is pretty off putting.
- I’m considering a return to FFXIV though, and I’ve heard Valheim is also good for community. I’d be interested in any survival craft type games.
- I’m also down to play console multiplayer, especially co op.
- A lot of new indie games are PC only so I’m excited to get into those too.
- I’m also into collecting anime figures, and anime/manga (though I haven’t actually watched much anime recently).
Feel free to PM, or my discord is violetsqed#9491.

2023.06.05 22:37 MifuneSwordGod A New Players Guide to EvE Online
Author's note
Lately we have been seeing more and more posts from newbies, returning players etc. And while we have the no question is stupid mega threads etc, I'm hoping this post can be a 1-stop shop for many things a new player is looking for, or wants to know. If anything in this thread is incorrect, or information that may change in the future, please message me. If anyone thinks I missed something, or you have other resources to share, comment below and I can edit the thread.
List of all Eve Online Discords:
https://www.reddit.com/Eve/comments/p6hlpbig_list_of_eve_discord_invites_share_you Introduction for Eve
Eve is overwhelming, everyone struggles with the large learning curve. Eve's biggest strength over other MMOs is the immersive sandbox. Where you have the freedom to shape your destiny, from the beginning the marketing tagline has always been "what's
your story?" But Eve isn't just about the ships you fly or the skills you train. It's about the incredible community that surrounds us. In EVE, forging alliances, making friends, and collaborating with other players is not only essential but also the #1 step towards you having FUN. EVE Online is built on the idea that the strength of your connections can often determine your fate. Through teamwork, cooperation, and shared goals, you can achieve far greater heights than you ever could alone.
Your first Steps
Let this section guide you on the first few steps you should take. Take EVE in BITE SIZED PIECES, and youll be just fine
- Complete the Tutorial - EVEs Tutorial is about 20-30 minutes long, teaches you the basic mechanics around things, and a little bit of the story. The best thing is that it shows a drop of what day-to-day EVE life is like.
- Explore playstyles - Each area of space is almost tailored to different playstyles. Lowsec piriating/faction warfare, to the chaotic anarchy of nullsec, dangerous wormholes. Google is your best friend :) see what areas and playstyles interest you most.
- Train Essential Skills - The Magic 14 Train Essential Skills - The Magic 14 We would suggest you get these skills trained up after training the minimal skills required to actually use the ships you want to fly.
- Engage in Career Agents - Each Career path is any newbies guide to the various activities within the game. This goes a long way to exploring the basics of playstyles you looked at earlier. Most of these even have Arc stories like the SOE Arc , the biggest benefit of these is increasing your standing with whatever of the 4 empires you so choose.
- Join a Corporation - We will get into this more in the next section, but joining a corporation is a crucial step in EVE. Being part of a corporation will provide you with guidance, support, and opportunities for group activities, making your gameplay experience richer and more enjoyable.
Finding a Corporation
Finding the right corporation in EVE is crucial for your long-term enjoyment and progression within the game, the first question you have to ask yourself is what factors you are looking for:
- Activity and Timezone: Ensure that the corp's activity level and timezone align with your preferred gameplay times to ensure interaction and engagement.
- Goals and Specializations: Consider what the corporation focuses on, such as PvP, industry, wormholes, or faction warfare. Find a corporation that shares your interests and offers the opportunities you seek.
- Culture and Atmosphere: Pay attention to the culture and atmosphere. Some corporations are more casual and laid-back, while others have a strict hierarchy and organized operations. Choose a corporation that resonates with your preferred style of gameplay.
Once you really have it down on what you want, now its time to narrow down corps. There are both in-game and out of game resources for recruiting corps... some more helpful than others. Feel free to check them all out below:
In-Game Methods: - Corporation Recruitment Channel: There's a dedicated channel called "Recruitment" where corps advertise their services and recruit new members. Interact with recruiters, ask questions, and get a sense of the corporations that catch your interest.
- Corporation Finder Tool: Open the corporation tab in NEOCOM, select "Find Corporations," and filter the results based on your preferences, such as activity type, location, size, and language. Review the available options and contact the corporations that align with your interests, Some will ask you to follow though on a 3rd party site... these are okay and not a sham :)
Third-Party Websites: - EVE Online Forums: rowse through the recruitment threads posted by corporations, read their descriptions, and contact them if you find a suitable match.
- evejobs : Subreddit for Corp and alliance recruitment
- Eve Online Discord : Wonderful Recruitment Section
Good New Player focused corps EVE UNI - Different Campus's for each type of gameplay style. Entirely new-bro focused on teaching you the shit.
Brave Newbies - Nullsec focused alliance, politically neutral to most groups. *Has highsec group too
KarmaFleet - Nullsec focused corp, politically with the Imperium *Has Highsec group too
Pandemic Horde -Nullsec focus group, politically aligned with PanFam *Has HighSec Group too
Joining a corporation is a two-way process sometimes depending on where you go. Joining a Corp can feel like a job interview, but don't let that stop you. Its just standard practice for the in-depth nature of EVE. The biggest thing I see new players confused about is Authing (especially for larger groups). In EVE, there comes a certain... political atmosphere. Espionage runs rampant though a lot of the game. So in turn 3rd party tools were created to assess characters and individuals, you'll see this with tools mostly associated with
Alliance Auth . Whenever the time comes you will simply log into your eve account though the SSO site, and they will be able to see stuff about your eve character.>Note>> People will only be able to see
in game information about your character. Any personal data about you or your eve account is not accessable though any eve tool or website.

I think that Asmongold should react to this. It has some
very minor spoilers, unfortunately, but I can't recommend that he only listens to it without actually watching the video, for one very good reason.
He has to be able to watch it to see the videos cut in of the thousand-plus members of the FFXIV community singing the song together. I can honestly say this: I loved WOW. I played for well over a decade. I saw plenty of Nyhm videos, plenty of other machinimas and animations, but I
never saw nor heard of the WOW community doing something like this. Not for themselves, not for the developers, not for the game.Yeah, the FFXIV community has it's issues, it's toxic folks. But we also have people who love this game and community enough to do this and donate all the proceeds to charity.

2023.06.05 18:25 Vexiune On July 1st, reddit will kill most major 3rd party apps including Apollo, Reddit is Fun, Relay, Narwhal, BaconReader, Sync and more while simultaneously making the site less safe and more prone to spam.
Credit to the lovely team at /FFXIV for the inspiration and permission to plagarize much of their post Friends,
On behalf of the
/FortniteLeaks mod team, let me just begin by saying this is not the kind of announcement we'd like to be making. Unfortunately, time is of the essence and this is likely to affect the majority of our community here let alone across the entirety of reddit.

Even if you are still working through the amazing story, we will be happy to have you and help you along the way. We are recruiting new, returning, and veteran players to the FC. We are drama free, laid back, and willing to help each other with any part of FFXIV. We are online just about every night and all weekend, but we have no requirements for logging in. We know that real life comes first, so we do not punish anyone for that.
If you want a fun community to ask for help from time to time, run roulettes, treasure maps, or just chat with, we are a perfect fit for you.
We have a Medium FC house in Mist, and we are working on building more subs/airships.
Our only requirements are 18+ and be nice to each other.
If you would like more information or an invite, feel free to reach out to me via discord (Datos#9066) or in game (Datos Nelo).
Thank you for taking the time to read this post and I hope you have a wonderful day.

2023.06.05 15:54 Nevali5081 [NA][A or H][STORMRAGE] 9/9N 9/9H Mythic Guild recruiting for Aberrus Progression
Hello and thank you for considering < Out of Focus > to be your new home! We are a semi-hardcore Mythic Progression raiding guild formed at the beginning of Shadowlands consisting of motivated players anxious to make meaningful progression together and we sincerely hope you will consider your journey dragonriding alongside us!
Though the guild was only formed last expansion those of us who started it are well versed and experienced leaders! We have raiders with CE experience, raiders who are grizzled veterans from Vanilla to now, raiders who have raid lead and organized raids from the most beloved to the floppiest of flops. I want to reassure anyone considering us to rest assured that the majority of us are dedicated raiders, players and friends who have been doing this for a long time; we have the raid leading and guild managing experience that allows us a significant advantage to be able to build an exceptional community not only for aspiring raiders but for all who step foot inside our welcoming halls.
Our typical schedule is as follows: •PROGRESSION RAID: Tues/Weds 8-11PM EST •GUILD M+ NIGHT: Fri. 8-10PM EST •ALT NIGHT: Saturday 8-11PM EST (bi-weekly) •SOCIAL NIGHT: Monday 8pm-10PM EST (every second Monday of the month)
The events we offer range from Progression Mythic raiding to an optional M+ Night where we organize groups and are able to push high keys successfully on time as well as mentor others to be able to join us in high pushes; to Alt Raid night to a Social Event once per month in order to foster bonds and unwind from the daily grind (this can be anything from Guild Among Us sessions to Expansion Transmog World Tours or WoW Trivia Nights with Guild prizes!).
In addition to scheduled events, our group is a close-knit group always looking to expand. You will always find someone willing to run a key with you or just chat in discord while you do dailies. We all play together across multiple platforms (we even have a FFXIV Free Company who occasionally push Savage content!) and games and would encourage you to join us in our warm and welcoming environment. As stressed above, our community is super important to us and as such is the main focus of all we do. I can assure you that those of us who chose to invest in this space did so after great thought and personal reflection after watching other guilds struggle with the unfortunate toxicity that can plague the mid-tier. We wanted to make this guild to weed out that disease and make a good, strong base so that we may achieve our end game goals in a healthy frame of mind and with people we enjoy playing with.
We are welcoming of both Alliance and Horde, especially with the new changes that allow all to be under one roof. So please do not hesitate to apply be it Night Elf or Orc. There is room for all!
So what are we looking for? Currently, we are in need of Healers and DPS- preferably those with hearty offspecs for versatility. Classes we would prioritize include, but are not limited to:
- Death Knight (unholy, frost)
- Shaman (enh, resto)
- Priest (disc, holy)
- Paladin (holy)
- Demon Hunter (havoc)
- Warrior (fury, arms)
The bottom line? We are always looking for exceptional players to push high content with and have fun doing so! If you are interested or have additional questions or comments please contact Hyliia: HYLIIA#1004 or Nevali: Nevali#5081 on discord. Thank you so much for your time and happy dragonriding!

2023.06.05 06:11 RPClipsGTAMod On July 1st, reddit will kill most major 3rd party apps including Apollo, Reddit is Fun, Relay, Narwhal, BaconReader, Sync and more while simultaneously making the site less safe and more prone to spam
Credit to the lovely team at /FFXIV for the inspiration and permission to plagarize much of their post Friends,
On behalf of the
/RPClipsGTA mod team, let me just begin by saying this is not the kind of announcement we'd like to be making. Unfortunately, time is of the essence and this is likely to affect the majority of our community here let alone across the entirety of reddit.
Not only will they [the developers] be forced to pay ridiculous sums (which they cannot cover) to maintain access to the API, changes to the ToS also prohibit these apps from using ad revenue to offset the new costs.
Any users who rely on 3rd party applications (like those above) to browse reddit will find that
the apps will cease to function after July 1st, when the pricing change goes into effect.
Should the open letter fall on deaf ears, many communities are also preparing subreddit blackouts in protest. The consensus on the blackout seems to be
June 12th-14th. This type of protest
has been used to great effect in the past, however it is also highly disruptive to the communities participating.
As the mod team for this
great community okay-ish gathering of chatters, our primary goal is to make sure we are serving you all to the best of our ability.
The mod team will do our best to answer any questions we can and we promise that any action we take (or don't) will be based on the feedback of the community.
Respectfully,
Your biased-against-your-streamer mod team

2023.06.05 04:48 Ubister So happy to be here, also how much is 500,000 Gil???
I had been looking for an MMO for so long, looking forward to Pax Dei but there's nothing there yet.
I was looking for a social experience like in the old days, like I had in Playstation Home, Second Life, APB Reloaded, but in fantasy MMO. I tried WoW but it just felt too grindy, didn't like the art style much, and things like the "Dungeon Finder" were far too immersion breaking. I tried to get back into MMORPGs I enjoyed like Guild Wars 2 and Atlantica Online, but they didn't age that well.
I never gave FFXIV a proper shoter because I never felt like I understood JRPGs, finally gave this one a try and man am I reliving all the old social elements from video games I enjoyed. Interacting with the community with emotes, and fun trades for food items (i love roleplaying as a Chef in these games, and you guys have a whole Culinary quest line with plenty of appearal, instead of WoW where I grinded daily quests for so long for 1 chef's hat that nobody would look twice at)
I am not even level 10 yet and already felt like I needed to add about 4 people to my friend list just from naturally encountering them, because I had fun with them. Not because I had to, not because they wanted me to join a guild, we just had a fun interaction.
Feels like I finally found an MMO to properly put some time in, after so, so long. So glad to be here.
Two parter though, one of the people I met (James Ren), traded me 500,000 Gil at lvl 5, I have no idea how much this is (I know Japanese games to be based on the yen like in Pokémon where stuff is 2000 for a potion, but it still feels like a LOT?)
I bought some clothes I wanted and am still at 498K, and quests at this range seem to give about 100~500 Gil? Was I blessed by this player?!

2023.06.05 04:47 lyridsreign [AETHER][MIDGARDSORMR][FC][LFM] JOIN AZURE INFINITUM! A Growing, Global, Inclusive, Active, Organized, and Friendly Community Awaits You! Welcoming Players Of All Experience, Availability, & Play-Style!
We are Azure Infinitum
Visit us at: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/)
You may have seen us in the Aether data center's party finder during our weekly events, or may have seen our recruitment shouts around the realm in-game in Midgardsormr, but there just isn't enough space in those places to really explain everything wonderful about what our Free Company and community is.
Azure Infinitum is an LGBTQ+ friendly community, and welcomes players of all experience level, play style, and availability. We're a warm home with a balance of online players, weekly optional activities, and flexible ranks from our membership, to our support & leadership categories. We have a 24/7 Support Team, a Councilship that governs each tier, seasonal events of our own, and many resources between the games we support and online services.
Who We Are
We are an established 9-year old community who's home is in Midgardsormr Server of Final Fantasy XIV. We are a structured, well-rounded, welcoming, friendly, and organized community that hosts daily events (check out our calendar: https://azureinfinitum.com/events/ ) that provide opportunity for members to excel. We work to provide an arena and opportunities to establish strong bonds and camaraderie between our members. As a community we are driven, we carry each other forward, and we are proud.
Our Name & Philosophy
Learn more about our global community here: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/aboutus/)
Learn more about our FFXIV Free Company here: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/ourffxivfc/)
Azure Infinitum means "Azure/Blue Infinity or Infinite Blue/Azure" and there is some mythos behind the name that stems from our guild-wide philosophy of kindness, freedom, vigilance, diversity and activity. We promote positive fellowship among members in an organized guild, with our sights open to our unending endless skies, full of possibility and success together.
Our motto is "As Free As The Azure Sky!" which stuck well when our FC was restructured from an old guild in 2014 as Azure was founded, and it was first shouted as we looked out at a clear blue sky above. has continued to be our electric victory as we continue to snowball in success and activity, our members soaring high through the Azure Sky, flying together!
Ranks
Click here to learn more about our community ranks: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/ranks/)
Our community has an organized ranking structure beginning with Members who comprise the majority of the roster. Scouts are our support team of Members who've stepped up to more officially support the FC, some work on obtaining a future leadership rank. Lieutenants and Officers comprise the proud Azure Council, a diverse group of players of different specialties and services to the FC, making up lower and higher tier leadership, seeing over the Scouts and the FC weekly events, aside from being admins. The FC Infinitum Master oversees all and leads the Azure Council and the company forward while always keeping the heart and vision of the community alive and in sight. Currently we are re-assessing ranks in the free company, giving more support permissions and duties to our Scouts, while the current council operates as a small team of Lieutenants lead by the FC Master.
Everyone Welcome and Who Fits Best
We have an open door policy. Whether you're casual, a returning player, a veteran, or a newbie, we have a vast array of players in our member roster. Our weekly schedule is organized and provides an array of activity for players of most levels, however we like to ask players who're pretty new or under the level cap, to be extra vocal about their needs while they're still unable to attend some daily events or higher level content that most of our weekly lineup focuses on. We want everyone to have as much fun as possible and have the most success. We find that most players enjoy Azure Infinitum, many have stated that they subscribed to FFXIV much longer than they ever would have imagined after they have been around in our community, as they've gotten involved and experienced all that we offer.
Our FC keeps a daily schedule (see here: https://www.azureinfinitum.com/events/) of events that are hosted by permitted Scouts and Council ranks, these range from 8-man and 24-man raids and map parties, to WT journal groups and trial clear parties or farms, and more- and attending anything isn't mandatory at all here. We're happy to have you, and its up to our members how much they'd like to get involved. Attendance is optional! There's never any stress to attend FC functions.
Savage Raiding Statement
We find that some hardcore raiders looking for free companies just to join their statics who don't already have one, might not fit well if savage raiding is their only or greatest focus, because traditionally Azure does not have a Savage Static, but focuses more on allowing members to organize their own groups and also provides resources to do so. Despite not supporting an official static for the FC, we hope that hardcore raiders enjoy the wealth of our community's wealth of harmony and overall fun, and that everyone may take initiative to seek out or build a raiding static within our community if they are interested, as opposed to missing out on experiencing Azure. Depending on the content season, we may have an Unofficial static lead by a leader, and routinely offer limited time Savage-learning events that may run for a number of months.
Rules and No Drama Policy
Please take a moment to look over our Rules Page at (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/rules/), we find that rude individuals and people who create drama are the outsiders here that don't fit well. We know its a big page, so at least visit the General Rules section before joining.
Recruitment Care & Activity
People of Azure Infinitum are often if not always good natured players who found their way to our community looking for a place with structure, friendliness, organization, and great activity, or they've been scouted during recruitment drives and have been well screened. Its a place where one can be social and attend everything, or relax in the background and enjoy the services and facilities of being in an active, organized, and friendly FC. We actively recruit periodically to assist with upkeep of community activity levels, and to meet new comrades. A community that closes recruitment can be doomed to stagnation. Its normal for a community to have an inner core of die hards who log in daily regardless of content releases, and also have an outer core of individuals that range from those with less availability to those who check in during Patches. This is why we take extra care in keeping the fresh blood flowing into Azure, cautious recruitment, and support our active model by always staying welcoming and sometimes running recruitment campaigns and other services. Like this ad!
Handling Online Drama
Because we keep a no-drama policy and have a strong communication network, it is leadership's ultimate priority to handle any issues that may come up as soon as possible, and most people appreciate our problem solving which has inspired many other communities. Between our Support & Leadership ranks, we use a number of report and resource channels to handle situations, and perform problem solving protocols & tactics to fairly address issues as possible. Drama is inevitable at some point for any online community, so its important to have a large and strong list of moderators (currently around 60!) and a council of leaders (15+) to quickly handle any problems. Luckily, we don't have a lot of drama, but we're always very well equipped and very prepared. Our community has been commended by game staff in the past for our methods, and we have worked with the FFXIV Special Task Force to ensure as much safety to our community as achievable. It should be stressed that it is up to our membership to report to GM's in-game, and to Azure Leadership should any issues or concerns come up. Its also highly recommended that our members appropriately document evidence that can be used to help us assess situations and make proper decisions. Documenation such as screenshots of harassment is a great example! Our members online safety is greatly important to us and is a number one concern of our leadership team. Our Rules Page at: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/rules/) describes a bit more in Chapter 3, including other entries on avoiding/ignoring trolls, playing while intoxicated, depression, and more.
Our Philosophy
We believe in our community and its people, how far we can go, how much we can do for each other, being an experienced community who's core values are positive fellowship, formation of bonds, and indomitable unity.
Azure Infinitum tightly grasps success and masters a casual and lucrative weekly play schedule while inspiring motivation and providing avenues for further success, friendships, and camaraderie among all who freely fly together among our Azure skies.
Founding on the principles of intricately forging a generally drama-free experience with keen leadership and a zealous and mighty membership, Azure has striven to guide and support many hundreds of players through every era of Final Fantasy XIV.
With an illustrious history, company lore, impressive statistics, and a model that is adaptable and blessed with innovative ability, Azure Infinitum claims a dominant presence of excellence and player growth that is possible in our community and extended services.
Estate Organization
We have the entire set-up at our estate, from gardens for members and Krakka Root production (free for members' chocobos), to our stables, nicely uniform clean lawn with hangout spots that are popular, with crafting stations, all available NPCs for simple mats and repairs, cut-scene viewer, toybox, triple-triad board, a fully operational and geared fleet of airships and subs, and our Azure Infinitum Assembly Chamber on the top floor for our meetings where announcements are made at our Grand Assemblies. Check it out if you like at Mist Ward 7 Plot 1.
We also have an organized form of gathering for weekly events in the yard, places to relax, food that is always available on tables at our Cellar, and hold a lot of special events and social games at our Hall. We're also conveniently located next to a Market Board and a Retainer Bell outside of our estate.
Communication and Extended Azure Services
We have multiple services of which none are mandatory, but we provide being (azureinfinitum.com) where our Forums, Event Calendar, News, Company Meeting Summaries, Seasonal Merch Giveaways, Contests, Rules Page, and more take place and can be found. We also have a popular and active Discord Server.
We also have a Facebook Group, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Steam Group, (Look us up! Or visit: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/socialmedia/) and Linkshells like our Infinitum Alliance LS for contact and aid from our allies if needed, our Azure Hunters LS for Hunters, and our Azure Industry LS which connects our members to our inner crafting/gathering community for newbies to pros.
Also worthy of mention is our big Company Meetings in-game, known as Azure Infinitum Grand Assemblies. Even though we have several avenues that keep people connected, our live assemblies gather the FC in unity where announcements are made first, and all proposals, ideas, and more, can be decided together live with the Azure Council present.
This network ensures a lot of information and communication gets around and has been exceedingly useful to us.
More On Events
One part of our reputation that often precedes us is our event crafting and hosting.
First, let me make sure its clear that attendance is never mandatory, but those who can make use, when possible, of what we provide each day, benefit from our events each week.
Since our beginning, traditions like our Thursday Treasure Thursdays events have run each week. Our weekly line-up presently begins on Tuesdays post-weekly reset, and consists of Raid Tuesdays, Wondrous Wednesdays (WT Journal Parties, often doubles as Trial Clears and Pony Drops), Treasure Thursdays (Endwalker's timeworn maps with groups of 8 doing up to 3 rounds of maps allowing for up to 24 maps ran), 24-Man Tuesdays (full pre-formed Azure 24-member alliances are made and raids are cleared, will be returning upon the release of EW's 24-man), Super Azure Slayer Sunday (our weekly meetup to do all sorts of PVP content be it Rival Wings or Frontline), and Monstrous Mondays (helps clear the current and previous patch extreme trials).
Special, Seasonal, and Quarterly Events
More info here: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/azureday/)See the latest event news & more at: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/news/)
We also have what we call Special and Quarterly Events. These types of events are Weekend-Long-Events that usually consist of a theme or celebratory social events we craft. During these events we hold big Riddle Races, Costume/Glamour shows and contests, 3-Story Mansion Maze Races, Speedrun Dungeon Races, Hide and Seek games, Custom Quest Events, Discord events like Cards Against Humanity nights, Comedy events, PVP Tournament Circuits, and more.
Our Special and Quarterly events are Azure Day Weekend (Takes place 3 times a year across a weekend, celebrates the FC), Azure Summer Festival (3-days at the end of August in partnership with Child's Play, raises money for children in long-term care, anniversary of historic FC event called the Lunar Rebellion), Anniversary Azure Day (a big weekend event in November that celebrates our Founding), Azure Day Saint's Wake (celebrates Halloween/All Saint's Wake), Azure Starlight Day (celebrating Starlight Day/Christmas/December Holiday Season), Azure Grand Melee and Duel Tournaments (PVP Circuit series crowning our PVP Champions) and more.
Azure Day Weekends
If you've been around our server you may have heard of our Azure Day Weekends. Our Azure Days take place quarterly as mentioned just above, with four evolved editions called Azure Summer Festival, Azure Day Saint's Wake, Azure Starlight Day, and Anniversary Azure Day. With Azure Day Weekends and related events traditionally occuring quarterly our members are always excited to see the next big weekend of crazy and fun social games, and our showering of the free company in gil and prizes galore. We go all out when we celebrate the free company, and Azure Days are another way we find for leadership to give back to the community. 2023 and beyond is now host to additional seasonal Azure Day events!
We're always giving our members a chance to have fun, win big, and make some great memories in the in-game family we've become. Something fun is always on the horizon in Azure.
Community
I almost can't stress enough how friendly our community is. We have a vast variety of members from hardcore gatherers and crafters, social butterflies, chill veterans, experienced raiders, level grinders, support teams, PVP aficionados, mechanic specialists, and mentors. We're also very friendly to all casual players as well and we keep an open door so long as recruits are always aware that we have a no-drama tolerance here.
Evolution into a Gaming Clan & Network
Plans are in the works and foundations are being laid that is slowly turning our community into a larger gaming network, with our first established Azure Wing with regular occurring activity being founded in Monster Hunter World, this has led to a successful Destiny 2 clan and more. Becoming a member of our Discord and/or Free Company now means access to things like our huge discord, Azure Wing membership in other games, and being able to join in on any of our other activities in the general community. Azure Network as its being called at the moment, is growing with an all-new website and community features for playing together across Final Fantasy XIV and to Azure Skies beyond!
Activity
We rank high as one of the top FC's in Worldwide Activity on lodestone, and have for a long time. Most of our players are divided between the US East and West Coasts, members in East and West Canada, and a few outside the US or in EU or Aus zones. Because we do have an activity policy (mentioned below) we keep a standard flow of people, and have crowds in the early morning, late morning, early afternoon, afternoon, evening, and late night crowds.
Elitism isn't our style. Our community boasts a broad range of characters, great personalities, the proud, and also some silly goofs. But elitism isn't welcome, no matter how successful we are or how large we grow. We're always welcoming towards fresh faces interested in joining our guild, and the in-game activity ranges between 30-60+ online at once during prime time hours, sometimes around 70+ on patch days, and usually always with half the roster logging in throughout a 24 hour period, and around 15-30+ during the night.
Activity Policy
We ask that our members do not go missing without logging in for more than 60 days straight. If we hear word from someone or have some kind of decent excuse, we place our members on our On Vacation rank, which lasts presently until 90 days have passed. Exceptions are made for military deployments, hospital stays, financial issues, disability/health related issues, moving, or other reasons that might fall on a case-by-case basis.
All members not heard from in 60 days (roughly 2 months) or currently 90 days (roughly 3 months) are discharged. We allow 3 joins to Azure Infinitum in total, but exceptions can be made due to reasons listed above. If removed for inactivity, or you've left our FC for another reason and haven't already joined 3 times, you're always welcome back, but please remember, we are not a revolving door.
Keeping our roster full of members who have been online and presently play the game actively ensures an active environment for our players who play often. It also keeps our credits and clerical processes balanced across our network, and allows space for new faces to join our big happy in-game family of comrades.
