2023.06.03 23:01 mhatreswaraj How to combine multiple react apps?

So I've been leading my frontend internship project since last 2 months. It is a react App for Result management System dashboard for a College. The App had to have different roles. Like after entering the URL, the login page will appear and when you login, according to your role, a different dashboard will appear. The roles were student, teacher, result coordinator and hod. So I distributed each role for each of my colleague. Each of them built their own apps for their specific roles and each of them have used routers internally. But the problem is how can I combine the different App into one and the main page will be the login page and after logging in, it will redirect to the respective dashboard?

2023.06.03 22:05 MelonThug A Full Guide to Earning Crystals

This is primarily targeted towards newer players, who may not know some of the ways of getting crystals, but may be useful to older players as well(probably not). I will list every source of crystals earnable in-game categorized into major and minor categories. If I miss anything, please comment.

Major Sources

1) STORY STAGES
The story stages give crystals in 2 ways. Firstly, you can earn 15 crystals per stage by completing all 3 challenges shown prior to entering the stage, and are usually pretty easy. Secondly, each chapter divides the stages into multiple sections, with extra rewards based on how many total stars(challenges completed) you got in that section. If you complete all the challenges, you will get extra crystals, usually 30 crystals. While the number may seem small on it's own, it adds up to quite a high amount in the end. Naturally, this is only a one time thing. This also includes doing Expeditions for the first time.
Chronicles also fall into this category, but they differ in the fact that after completing all of the stages, a challenge mode is unlocked where you can earn even more crystals.
2) ACHIEVEMENTS
This is only applicable for new players, as you'll be unlocking a ton of achievements for doing pretty much anything. The amount you get overall is very high compared to the more consistent sources of crystals like abyss, but this is also a one time thing.

3) ELYSIAN REALM
This is your most accessible and largest on-demand supply of crystals(besides your credit card ofc). However the amount of crystals you can earn entirely depends on how many characters you have unlocked that are actually in Elysian Realm. For every character you have in ER, you can earn 600 crystals, by completing Shallow Sequence with them, and leveling them to level 15(although this takes some time).
You can also get crystals by collecting signets for the first time. For collecting all 5 Elysia signets for a character, you can get 20 crystals. Collecting all the general signets for a flame-chaser will get you 20 crystals, and collecting all their enhanced signets will get you 50 crystals.
When upgrading remembrance vessels, you will unlock recollection logs. Each log you click on will get you 10 crystals, totaling to 1430 crystals.
Additionally, you can earn up to 500 crystals per week if you can get 18,000 score on Deep Sequence, however this will be difficult for new players without proper gear and understanding of ER.
4) ABYSS (Q-Manifold/Dirac Sea/Q-Singularis/Superstring Dimension)
This is your largest, infinite source of crystals. The amount of crystals you earn will depend on both your player level and performance. There are 4 brackets of abyss, determined by your level: 1. Beginners (25-55) 2. Elite (56-69) 3. Masters (70-80) 4. Exalted(81+)
Additionally, there are 4 brackets of rankings, determined by your performance: (This is for Exalted) 1. Sin 1, Sin 2, Sin 3 (190-220 crystals) 2. Agony 1, Agony 2, Agony 3 (280 - 420 crystals) 3. Redlotus (500 crystals) 4. Nirvana(hell) (520 crystals) There is also Forbidden, which is below Sin 1 and exclusive to Exalted Abyss(Superstring Dimension), but you'll never be there unless you stop playing the game.
I have no way of checking the crystals for brackets below Exalted, so I cannot list the crystal values for each. However, after getting multiple teams built fairly decently(which will take a long time for F2P but very achievable), you can expect to remain in Agony 3 and promote to Redlotus every once in a while, averaging 420 crystals per cycle(3 days). May you never enter Nirvana.

5) EVENTS
Events are very frequent in Honkai, and offer very valuable rewards. Crystals aren't usually as valuable as the other rewards they offer, but the majority of the time you'll be able to buy every item in the event shop if you play the whole thing. Events usually award up to 500 crystals, but the amount varies greatly.

6) OPEN WORLD MISSIONS (Sakura Samsara, Schicksal HQ, A Post Honkey Odyssey 1 & 2)
Every week you can gain access to 1 open world, however some of them only unlock at certain levels, and when you reach that level, the corresponding open world will unlock automatically for 2 weeks. Which means you may end up with 3 open worlds open at the same time, which will absolutely drain your stamina if you try to take up tasks for all of them. By playing through the open world story and completing missions, you will earn a hefty sum of crystals.
Additionally, for A Post Honkai Odyssey 1 & 2, you will gain access to a special supply costing special currency(keys) that you can pull crystal boxes from(you are guaranteed every reward from the supply eventually).

7) SENSEI/CADET SYSTEM
Honkai has a mentorship system, where high level players can help out newer players and both can earn rewards. To find a sensei, go on the Friends tab on the bottom left, and then the Sensei tab on the right. There are 10 phases of rewards a cadet can earn for doing different things, totaling to 1740 crystals and 10 dorm supply cards.

8) CODES AND NEW PATCHES
Every new patch, we get a code that gives 200 crystals and an additional 600 crystals as compensation for maintenance time. You can join Honkai's official Discord for codes.

9) RETURNEE EVENT
If you haven't logged in for 45+ days, you will trigger the returnee system, and the next time you login you will get a returnee event. It gives a very large amount of both crystals and useful resources. Can't give a number on how much crystals exactly, but it's alot.

Minor Sources

1) DAILY 600BP
Earning 600 BP will net you 40 crystals per day, and while little compared to the major sources, it is essential you get this every day. Additionally, the "Weekly Share' mission will give you an extra 30 crystals per week.

2) BATTLE PASS
The Free BP will get you 540 crystals, and you will level up your BP gradually just by playing the game normally. While 540 crystals is a large amount, that 540 will trickle in very slowly over the course of 3 versions(roughly 120 days).

3) MEMORIAL ARENA
This only applies to Exalted(Lvl 81+), as only then are SSS bosses unlocked. Every week, you can challenge 3 bosses, 2 of which will be SSS. If you manage to achieve at least 38400 score on a SSS boss, you will get 20 crystals, totaling to 40 crystals per week for both. Additionally, you will get 100 crystals per week for beating at least 8 stages(which Arena Lite will probably cover on its own anyways). As a new player, it will be very difficult to do this, as you probably won't have the teams required for every boss and won't have good gear. However, achieving this once you get some teams fairly well built is very easy if you utilize Buffed Mode.

4) ADVENTURE TASKS
Very rarely, when selecting your adventure tasks, you may get a task that awards 25 crystals. You should try to use all 15 refreshes when choosing your 5 tasks to maximize your chance of getting the crystal tasks.

5) DORM ERRANDS
Rarely when running your Dorm Errands(although much more often than adventure tasks), you may see an S+ task appear, which gives 40 crystals. Sometimes you may not have the requirements to actually do the errand, in which case you can use your 1 daily refresh and hope for the best.

6) ARMADA WEEKLY REWARDS
Every week you will get 25 crystals from your armada, provided they reach the weekly requirement for such(which should always happen anyways). You also get 60 crystals for joining an armada for the first time.

7) CHARACTER TRIALS
If you go on the challenges tab(where you will see Abyss, MA, Mirage and ER), there's a blue arrow on the right. Press that and you will see the character trials. While these trials don't actually award any crystals, they award 1 FOCA card for completing the boss stage. Unfortunately most of the valkyries here are outdated and you are unlikely to even have most of them. If you do though, you can try to complete the boss stage for that 1 card. Do note, some boss stages are very difficult.
(I went on a new lvl 34 account and didn't see this for some reason, not sure if it unlocks at a certain level or something else)

8) TACTICS CLASS
When a new character releases, a tutorial for them will release as well. Completing all stages will get you 60 crystals. Tactics class can be found in the Event tab(in the Attack section, not the button on the left of the home screen). Additionally, if you click on the Mechanics tab on the top right, you will actually see a bunch of gameplay mechanic tutorials that can net you 15 crystals each.

9) DAILY CHECK IN
In case you didn't know, you can open this webpage everyday to get a small reward. Gives 50 crystals per month. Additionally, there are daily sign in rewards in-game, which total to 400 crystals and 1 dorm supply card every month.

10) BIRTHDAYS
Whenever it's a character's birthday, they will send you an in-game mail with a cake and 120 crystals. If I recall correctly, you also get 100 crystals on your own birthday.

11) COLLECTIONS
If you press your phone in the bottom right, you will see a "Collection" button. If you click on whoever is on the left, you will see the rewards for each score milestone, totaling to 1020 crystals, although it will take a very long to time get all of that. By acquiring more items in-game, you will increase your collection score. A good way to get more score is to craft dorm furniture and play story to unlock cutscenes.

Thank you for reading! I hope this guide will be useful to newer players looking for ways to earn crystals. If I forgot any sources(I'm sure I missed at least 1), please mention it in the comments.

Chapter 5: The Final Challenge

\11 AS. Stardust Speedway (Present).\**
Having finished ridding Wacky Workbench of Robotnik’s influence, and possessing 5 Time Stones, Sonic arrives at an advanced, neon-colored city that shines under the starry night sky. Throughout the city, there are also many twisting and turning golden highways with instruments attached to them, and down below is both a factory and Robotnik statue under construction. Admiring the sights again, Sonic comments on the area.
Sonic: “*Whistle.* Little Planet is just full of beauty!”
Sonic: “Though, the neon lights are a little much on the eyes. And that Robotnik statue needs to go.”
Sonic: “Good thing I have most of the Time Stones to fix that! But the first order of business is finding Amy! She’s waited long enough!”
After saying that, Sonic speeds across the many highways, while smashing some Badniks along the way. Though, because of how winding and twisty the roads are, the blue blur often gets confused on where to go, and occasionally bumps into walls due to how fast he’s going. Luckily, he doesn’t get seriously injured at any point.
However, as time passes, Sonic doesn’t find a single trace of any pink hedgehogs, or even robotic ones. So, stopping for a moment in order to think, the blue blur starts to talk to himself again.
Sonic: “Okay, this city may be pretty, but it’s very confusing to navigate!”
Sonic: “Then again, much of Little Planet is a pain to look around in anyways. At least when it comes to looking for stuff like mystical gemstones.”
Sonic: “No matter! If I can’t find Amy here, then I guess I can go find her in the Past, along with the Robot Generators!”
Sonic pulls out the green Time Stone, and puts it up into the air, causing it to sparkle and pulsate with energy. As this happens, Stardust Speedway is covered in sparkly green energy, and many structures change. In a few seconds, the energy disappears, and the blue hedgehog looks around to see how the city looks in the past.
Now, Stardust Speedway resembles a Greek/Roman-style city, with an acropolis, gardens, and surrounding towns. The highways are colored green, and covered with vegetation and vines. There’s a lake below as well, and in place of the Robotnik statue is a gothic-style building.
While Sonic takes a moment to admire the different scenery, he quickly gets to finding the Robot Generators and Amy. This time, he has an easier time navigating the area, and the Badniks are still a joke to him. But strangely, in addition to no Amy, there’s also no Robot Generators as far as the eye can see.
This greatly confuses Sonic, considering how every area he visited before Stardust Speedway had at least one Robot Generator in the past. Though, as he tries to find SOMETHING note-worthy, he notices what appears to be an inactive Hologram Projector, and runs towards it. Once he approaches the device, it turns on, showing a hologram of Metal Sonic.
However, this hologram of the metallic hedgehog isn’t hurting any animals. Instead, he’s merely standing in place with his arms crossed as he speaks.
Metal Sonic: “Hello, Sonic. My inferior counterpart.”
Metal Sonic: “If you are seeing this hologram, then that means you’ve finally arrived at Stardust Speedway.”
Metal Sonic: “Unfortunately for you, Dr. Robotnik decided to move the Robot Generators to a hidden and protected area in order to make sure you don’t ruin his future utopia.”
Metal Sonic: “And don’t waste your time finding it. Especially when you have a damsel in distress to rescue.”
Metal Sonic: “Instead, just head to the future, and come find me.”
Metal Sonic: “Once you do…we’ll finally figure out who the one, true Sonic is.”
Metal Sonic: “Don’t keep me waiting. I’ve been doing so for longer than necessary, and I will NOT be denied the pleasure of finishing you off.”
With Metal Sonic’s message delivered, the hologram projector turns off, leaving Sonic annoyed and eager to throw hands with his metal counterpart. So, as he pulls out both the green and yellow Time Stones, the blue blur responds to the message.
Sonic: “Alright, Metal…if it’s a fight you want, then it’s a fight you get!”
After saying that, Sonic puts both Time Stones into the air, emitting some sparkly energy. He’s going straight to the future, in order to finally put Metal Sonic in his place.
—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
\Some time later. Stardust Speedway (Bad Future).\**
Metal Sonic stands on one of the rusty and discolored highways above the polluted, dystopian city below, with a mechanical door blocking his way. As the robotic hedgehog taps his foot with his hands on his sides, Robotnik floats above in his Egg Mobile, looking a little bored and impatient.
Then, the two notice a blue streak going across the nearby highways, causing them both to perk up. Sonic has finally arrived for the real fight. So, as Robotnik prepares himself with a grin, Metal Sonic merely crosses his arms and stops tapping his foot as he waits for his organic counterpart to arrive.
After a few seconds, Sonic skeets to a stop at the area, clearly a little annoyed, but still keeping his cool. Immediately, Metal Sonic speaks up as he moves his arms to his sides while walking up to the blue blur.
Metal Sonic: “It took you far too long to arrive here.”
Metal Sonic: “Now I wonder if this will even be a challenge?”
Sonic: “Oh, I’ll give you a challenge right now, metalhead! But first, where’s Amy?”
Robotnik: “Your little girlfriend is ALL the way at the end of this racetrack!”
Robotnik: “But if you want to save her, then you’ll have to get to her before Metal Sonic does!”
Sonic: “Really now? You think your robo-hog can best me and my speed?”
Robotnik: “No…I KNOW he’ll make a fool out of you, rodent!”
Metal Sonic: “And considering how our last encounter went, I think you have very little chance of surviving this confrontation.”
Sonic: “Please! You haven’t seen me at my best!”
Sonic: “Besides, what’s stopping me from just finding another way of rescuing Amy if I somehow failed the race?”
After Sonic says that, Robotnik moves behind him, and shoots a large yellow laser down at the highway from his Egg Mobile, leaving a large gap. When the blue blur looks at it, he starts to get the idea, and turns back towards Metal Sonic, still confident in his abilities.
Sonic: “Heh! Guess I can’t fall too far behind!”
Metal Sonic: “Please. Once we get started, you’ll be eating my dust.”
Sonic: “Then I better not hold anything back!”
Eager to finally begin, both Sonic and Metal Sonic stand side-by-side in front of the metal door, which is slowly opening up, ready to run at any moment. And as Robotnik counts down, the two hedgehogs stare at each other, with the organic one giving a competitive smirk.
Robotnik: “On your mark! Get set!”
Robotnik: “GO!”
Almost immediately after shouting that, Sonic and Metal Sonic boost off across the highway, while Robotnik trails behind with the road-destroying laser. Already, the two hedgehogs are at their top speeds, neck-and-neck as they run (Or in Metal’s case, fly) across the twisting and turning highway. The two of them continue to smack-talk each other as they race.
Sonic: “What do you know!? You’re actually able to keep up!”
Sonic: “But sadly for you, Metal, I’ve got this in the bag!”
Metal Sonic: “Really now? Even with all those obstacles on the track?”
When Metal Sonic mentions that fact, Sonic looks at the highway to find many kinds of traps throughout. From spikes, to road-blocks, to springs, and even small stumps. This causes the organic hedgehog to slow down a bit in order to traverse them, while his metallic faker flies over all of it without issue, and continues to mock him.
Metal Sonic: “What’s the matter? I thought you had this in the bag?”
Sonic: “Tch! Cheater!”
Metal Sonic: “It’s not my fault you can’t fly, hedgehog! I’m just using my abilities to my advantage!”
Sonic: “Rrrgghhh!”
Now more aggravated, Sonic speeds up in order to catch up to Metal Sonic, and uses his spin attack to knock him out of the air and down onto the track. After doing this, the organic hedgehog keeps going, while the metallic hedgehog clenches his fists, and erupts in an orange, electric energy as he catches up to his organic counterpart.
Luckily, Sonic jumps over Metal Sonic as he dashes forward, and catches up to the robotic hedgehog, who’s trying to cool down a bit from using that move. But he recovers quickly, and the two are neck-and-neck again.
Sonic: “What’s the matter, chrome dome!? Losing steam already!?”
Metal Sonic: “Don’t be stupid! I’m a machine! I never tire like you do!”
Sonic: “Well, you don’t see ME slowing down!”
Metal Sonic: “Let’s change that!”
Suddenly, Metal Sonic releases that orange electricity again, shocking Sonic and making him fall to the ground for a moment. After managing to get back up quickly, the organic hedgehog glares at his metallic counterpart, who continues on ahead, before speeding back up. Robotnik is slowly catching up to both of them while he’s destroying the racetrack.
As the race continues, Sonic and Metal Sonic continue to mess with each other in order to slow one another down. However, they both manage to catch back up in only a matter of seconds, and seem evenly matched. At points, even Robotnik isn’t certain who will win the race, but he knows his greatest creation has what it takes to win.
After a couple of minutes, Sonic, Metal Sonic, and Robotnik are about to reach the end of the racetrack, where another mechanical door is present, ready to go down immediately when someone passes it. And on the other side of that door is Amy Rose, tied up to a light pole, who sees the three of them coming.
Finally seeing Sonic after being kidnapped, Amy has a hopeful smile, but is very worried that he might fail to get to her in time. As for the blue blur, he’s starting to slow down a bit due to all the damage he’s received from Metal Sonic, who’s getting close to the goal, and Robotnik is about to hit the organic hedgehog with his laser, grinning ear-to-ear.
Metal Sonic: “You put up a good fight, Sonic The Hedgehog! But this is goodbye!”
Metal Sonic: “Now, I will be the one true Sonic!”
Sonic: “Dangit! I’m not done yet!”
Now knowing he can’t hold back anymore, Sonic decides to charge up his Super Peel-Out, hoping to make one last dash for the goal before Metal Sonic gets there first. As he does this, Robotnik almost manages to hit the organic hedgehog with his laser, and gloats prematurely.
Robotnik: “So long, rodent! It was fun while it-!?”
But before the doctor can finish, Sonic bursts across the track at such a high speed that it nearly causes Robotnik’s Egg Mobile to spiral off.
Robotnik: “WHAT!?”
As for Metal Sonic, he’s nearly at the home stretch. However, he notices Sonic quickly catching up at a speed he didn’t think he could reach, which surprises him.
Metal Sonic: “This speed…!?”
Then, Sonic dashes past Metal Sonic, not even saying a single word. The blue blur has never gone this fast before, since he prefers to keep a limit on his speed in order to not disorient himself or destroy his surrounding environment. But right now, all that matters is getting to the end, and finishing this.
Annoyed that his organic counterpart is trying to steal his victory at the last minute, Metal Sonic charges up for one last push as well.
Metal Sonic: “You won’t win this race! I refuse to lose to my inferior counterpart!”
Metal Sonic speeds off in a powerful electric aura, and is trying to push his limits in order to surpass Sonic. But just as he’s about to be neck-and-neck with his organic counterpart, his jet engine starts to blow a fuse, causing him to slow down. His body and system can’t handle the raw power and speed he’s trying to achieve.
However, Metal Sonic doesn’t care at all. His only focus is beating Sonic. Though, sadly for him, the blue blur manages to get past the goal, making the mechanical door above close down. And since the robotic hedgehog refuses to slow down, he ends up colliding face-first into the door with an audible clang.
Not only does Metal Sonic’s head now have a noticeable crack on it, but one of his legs snapped off, and one of his hands became loose, only being connected to the rest of the arm by a few wires. As for his torso’s jet engine, it’s busted and shows dark burn marks. And as the metallic hedgehog starts to shut down due to the damage, he reaches out with his other, undamaged hand.
Metal Sonic: “Must…win…race…”
Metal Sonic: “Must…prove…myself…”
Metal Sonic: “Only…one…true…Sonic…”
And with those last few words, Metal Sonic shuts down, with his arm falling down to the ground. He’s completely busted. He failed his mission. He failed at what he was made for. He failed to beat who he was based off of…
Speaking of his base, after getting to the goal, Sonic tries to slow down at his current speed, but ends up falling to the ground disoriented and a bit exhausted. He doesn’t hear Metal Sonic slam into the door, but he does hear Amy’s concerned voice call out to him as he gets back up.
Amy: “Sonic! Are you okay!?”
Sonic: “Yeah…just pushed myself a little too much…!”
Sonic: “So, looks like I won the race, huh?”
Amy: “Yeah! And I think Metal Sonic just slammed into the door!”
Sonic: “Heh! It’s like I said before! Nothing beats the original!”
Sonic: “But enough about me! Time to get you out of here!”
Sonic frees Amy from her restraints, and immediately, she hugs him tightly, glad to finally be free of Robotnik and Metal Sonic. And while the blue blur is a little uncomfortable, he rubs Ms. Rose’s head a bit in order to comfort her.
Amy: “I’m SO glad you were able to rescue me, Sonic! I knew you’d do it!”
Sonic: “And I’m glad you’re alright. Though, I’m sorry for making you wait so long.”
Amy: “Well, better late than never, right?”
Sonic: “Heh. Right.”
The two of them stay like this for a little bit. And as for Robotnik, he decided to turn off the laser after Sonic boosted across the track. Then, when he reached the end of the track, he’s surprised to find the busted Metal Sonic on the ground, and is clearly upset and angry.
Robotnik: “No! He was my greatest creation yet! How could he have failed!?”
Moving his Egg Mobile a little closer towards Metal Sonic’s body, Robotnik notices the burn marks on his torso, where he quickly figures out what happened.
Robotnik: “Now I see…Metal tried going faster in order to keep up, but his jet engine couldn’t handle it.”
Robotnik: “And I thought I was more than prepared for that hedgehog’s speed!”
Sonic: “Eh. It was still a good first attempt, doc. But there’s only one true Sonic!”
Robotnik looks up to see Sonic walking out of the opened door, with Amy following behind. The doctor glares at his arch-nemesis, while flying up into the sky.
Robotnik: “Tch! You may have bested Metal Sonic! But I’m FAR from finished!”
Sonic: “By all means! Let’s go for an encore!”
After that exchange, Robotnik flies off for Metallic Madness, still possessing the blue Time Stone. Which leads to Sonic and Amy looking over the broken body of Metal Sonic, with the latter having a somewhat sad expression as she stares at him.
Sonic: “You know…it’s kind of a shame I had to trash him.”
Sonic: “If he stopped following Eggman and wasn’t a huge jerk, I would have loved to be pals with him. Or at least rivals.”
Amy: “Yeah…he was definitely much more than a killing machine…”
Amy: “I just wished he did something for himself instead of Robotnik. He could have lived a life of his own.”
Amy: “But…I wasn’t able to get through to him…”
Sonic: “Don’t blame yourself, Amy. The guy made his choices.”
Sonic: “It’s just that the choices he made weren’t that great.”
Amy nods solemnly, before trying to pull herself together, while Sonic decides to move on from the topic of Metal Sonic.
Sonic: “So, did Robotnik or Metal mention anything about a secret area?”
Amy: “Hmm…I don't think so. Why?”
Sonic: “I need to find the Robot Generators in the past of this city in order to rid this future of Robuttnik’s ugly mug.”
Amy: “What about those Time Stones? You have a bunch of them by now, right?”
Sonic nods, as he brings out 5 Time Stones, colored green, yellow, orange, purple, and cyan. Amy is in awe of the shiny gemstones, while the blue blur continues the conversation.
Sonic: “Yeah, I got all of them, aside from the two Robotnik has.”
Sonic: “Though, I don’t know if the Time Stones can get rid of his influence on their own. Not without all 7 together, at least.”
Amy: “Well…having 5 of them should do SOMETHING. Why not give it a shot?”
Sonic: “Hmm…guess you got a point. If it worked with the Chaos Emeralds back on South Island, I don’t see why these gemstones can’t do it here.”
Amy: “Wait, you found the Chaos Emeralds before, too?”
Sonic: “Yep. But I’ll explain later.”
Amy: “Ah! Right! Go ahead!”
After giving a nod and a smile, Sonic raises the Time Stones into the air, while Amy backs up a bit. Then, the gemstones emit the same sparkly energy as before, only it’s far stronger. So much so that the two hedgehogs have to shield their eyes. And as this happens, the red Time Stone that Metal Sonic possessed floats over to the other five of it’s kind.
With 6 out of 7 Time Stones, the future of Stardust Speedway starts to change as it’s covered with sparkly green energy. After a few seconds, the energy dissipates, allowing Sonic and Amy to open their eyes. They’re amazed to see just how different this city looks now that it’s free of Robotnik’s influence.
In this Good Future, Stardust Speedway is more of a giant amusement park colored a bright pink and green. The now lavender highways have plaques of hearts on them, and have support gliders. And the Robotnik statue has been replaced by a lovely cathedral castle. It’s like a world of fun and leisure. Sonic and Amy look around, amazed at the beautiful sights.
Amy: “Wow! This looks SO much better! And romantic!”
Sonic: “It’s definitely eye candy! And look!”
Sonic points at the 6 Time Stones, still floating in the air. The gemstones then float towards the blue hedgehog’s hands, who proceeds to put them away, while Amy comments on them.
Amy: “What do you know? I was right!”
Amy: “And it looks like Metal Sonic had the 6th Time Stone, too!”
Sonic: “Yep! This is definitely a great victory for the two of us!”
Sonic: “Now, all that’s left is Robotnik at his base of operations!”
Amy: “Mm-hm! Let’s take that mustached phony down!”
Sonic: “Actually, I think it’s best you stay here, Amy.”
When Sonic says that, Amy is surprised and offended.
Amy: “Wha-!? Oh, come on! I want to help!”
Amy: “This isn’t because I was kidnapped by Metal, is it?”
Sonic: “Sorry, but I don’t want Robotnik to kidnap you again. We got lucky this time.”
Sonic: “Besides, you’ve already helped out!”
Amy: “Sure, but I want to help even more! I want to show you that I can be useful!”
Sonic: “Amy…”
In order to reassure her, Sonic puts a hand on Amy’s shoulder in order to get her attention.
Sonic: “You don’t need to prove to me that you’re useful. I already know you’re a great friend to be around.”
Sonic: “But I can’t risk your safety more than I already have. If Robotnik and Metal Sonic wanted to, you could have been killed after you were captured.”
Sonic: “So, please just stay here for now. I’ll come find you once I’m done.”
Sonic: “Plus, you have plenty more opportunities to show me how capable you are. And I’m sure you’re gonna keep getting better as time goes on.”
Sonic: “Is that okay?”
Amy: “...”
While Amy is silent, it’s clear by her blushing and bashful smile that she greatly appreciates Sonic’s words. So, with a heavy sigh, the pink hedgehog nods her head.
Amy: “...Mm-hm. Thank you.”
Amy: “Though, once this is over, we’re gonna go on a date!”
Sonic: “Heheh…actually, I don’t think I’d mind that after all this…”
Amy: “Ah! Do you really mean that!?”
Excited, Amy holds onto Sonic’s hands, with the blue hedgehog a bit surprised and uncomfortable, but confirming his words are true.
Sonic: “Sure! But don’t think we’ll be a couple when it’s all said and done!”
Amy: “Hehe! I’ll take that!”
Amy: “Now, go save the day, so we can get to it as fast as possible!”
Sonic: “I’ll be back before you can do another Fortune Card reading!”
Giving a thumbs-up and a smile, Sonic then speeds off towards his final destination, while Amy waves at him with a big smile. Despite how disinterested he is in romance, along with his more impatient attitude, Ms. Rose knows the blue blur is the one meant for her. And she’s looking forward to spending more of her life with him.
However, as Amy decides to go around Stardust Speedway to enjoy the attractions and sights, she wonders about something. When she and Sonic changed the future, the remains of Metal Sonic disappeared. What happened to him? Was he erased from existence due to the Time Stones? Or…
…Is he still here on Little Planet? Waiting to be fixed, and come back for revenge?
TO BE CONTINUED…

2023.06.03 21:40 inthelobbby Unrequested OTPs?

My husband and I both have treasury direct accounts and i-bonds. Every few months, I get OTPs emailed to me when neither of us attempted to login. I use 1password to manage my passwords and have changed my email password recently, so I'm confident that my email account is secure.
However, we previously used lastpass and it's possible our old password vault was compromised.
I'm just wondering if it's pretty common to get unrequested OTPs.

2023.06.03 20:55 Whatever_Stuff203 Formerly Total By Wireless, No Access to Account

Hi, I'm not tech savvy. I left the country to study abroad after adding a $35 unlimited calls and texts subscription refill (I did not have autopay enabled), 10 GB, and $10 for international calling on July 31, 2022. I didn't have time to confirm how smoothly this would go before I left and it did not go at all. It was not fun. I couldn't even use the international calling. I couldn't replace the SIM card with another in this phone either. I've been using a new phone with a prepaid subscription through a European service. Anyway, I want to keep that phone number I was using with Total, and I've been too busy studying and adjusting to figure this out. I can't log into my account. I can't even access the totalbyverizon page to login. I tried verizon dot com and put in my phone and password. The option to sign in to a disconnected account didn't work. I added a link to another conversation in this group because it is similar. If I could manage a text to Total with no service, I still probably have an inactive account since I would have needed to top up again in September, but I couldn't access my account to do that. I've also been concerned about the cost of international calls so haven't tried contacting Total with my European phone. Any ideas? Please be kind.

2023.06.03 20:55 con_work Huge bug in Windscribe session control: Can I automate deletion of sessions inactive after x days?

Every couple months or so I get the "Security Alert" email and need to "Delete Sessions" to stop them. I use windscribe on a virtual machine, and I can only assume that every time it starts it counts as a new "successful login" to windscribe, artificially jacking up my device count. Is there anyway to automate deletion of sessions inactive after x days?
This seems like a huge issue to those of us with only a few devices, but that login through docker instances, etc. There is no way to view, manage, or selectively delete sessions. The fact that Windscribe built in logic to persecute the number of logins but no logic to manage the logins is both ignorant and predatory.
At this point, I'm considering spinning up a docker every three months that clears all sessions, but it shouldn't be my problem to fix your issue.
This should be a high-priority bugfix. Stop sending users threatening emails if you can't implement common sense session control.

2023.06.03 20:52 Re_vess VSCode installation tutorial with Termux-x11

I will start with things that I am still fixing to get working:
Currently, I am running a Samsung Galaxy Tab s8+ with Dex that I am slowly trying to make my daily driver for all my tasks, note-taking, slide annotations and coding on the go. This has been quite the journey, full of debugging, but it is an amazing feeling to run small Neural Networks in PyTorch on such a versatile device. I will try to maintain this post with any improvements and updates that I can do. And special thanks to u/parkerlreed for helping debugging termux-x11 spen support (still not working).
This tutorial works for the following os and might not work for everyone: Samsung OneUI 5.1 + Android 13.
Download the following versions of termux and termux-x11:
Primary setup
  1. Follow this tutorial to disable the Phantom Process Killer, otherwise Termux will keep automatically closing.
  2. Install Termux and run the following lines of code:

pkg update pkg upgrade pkg install nano proot-distro x11-repo termux-setup-storage
Termux-x11
  1. Edit the following file and uncomment allow-external

nano .termux/termux.properties
  1. Unzip the companion packages and run the following:
    pkg install ./storage/downloads/termux-x11-[VERSION]-all.deb
  2. Setup a start and stop file to run the display:
    touch ./xstart.sh touch ./xstop.sh
Then add the following to the xstart.sh:
#!/bin/bash export DISPLAY=:0 termux-x11 :0 & proot-distro login ubuntu --user [USER] --shared-tmp
And the following to xstop.sh:
#!/bin/bash kill termux-x11
Now install the termux.apk app. You can open it. When using long press on the app set the input style to trackpad (makes it easier to navigate the small icons.
Proot-distro
First install ubuntu and login:
proot-distro install ubuntu proot-distro login ubuntu
Now you will be running as root but before creating a user lets update:
apt update apt upgrade apt install nano sudo wget git
Create the user:
passwd groupadd storage groupadd wheel groupadd video useradd -m -g users -G wheel, audio, video, storage -s /bin/bash [USER] passwd [USER] visudo
Then add the following line after root ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL
[USER] root ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL
Then save and exit the distro
Start the distro, or run the xstart.sh file:
proot-distro login ubuntu --user [USER] --shared-tmp
Install a window manager and a xorg:
sudo apt install xorg openbox
Install Chromium (or another browser, but you will need one for later):
sudo wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AndronixApp/AndronixOrigin/masteUninstall/ubchromiumfix.sh && bash ubchromiumfix.sh
Now edit the .bashrc and add the following lines:
export DISPLAY=:0 openbox-session & export BROWSER='/usbin/chromium --no-sandbox'
You could go ahead and edit the following settings of openbox in ~/.config/openbox/rc.xml, at any point you see a font size set it to something like 24, this will make your window manager at least somewhat useable.
Install Code + Miniconda
First lets download miniconda from here, just get the latest aarch64 build.
Then run the following from your proot distro:
sudo sh /sdcard/Downloads/Miniconda-[VERSION].sh
Then keep pressing enter until the EULA is finished, type yes, pres enter once. THEN DONT PRESS ANYTHING. And write 'yes' when prompted. Then reload your bash:
source ~/.bashrc
And Conda is installed!
Now when you're in the terminal make Main your git's default branch since it is the new standard:
git config --global init.defaultBranch main
Now VSCode, download it from here (again arm64) and install it with:
sudo dpkg -i /sdcard/Downloads/code-[VERSION].deb
It will most likely not work instantly lets fix that:
sudo apt --fix-broken install
And try the dpkg command again.
Then to make life easy create the following sh file:
touch code.sh nano code.sh
With contents:
#!/bin/bash code --no-sandbox &
And that is it, to run VSCode from the start use the following:
  1. Open Termux and Termux-x11
  2. Run the following command
    sh ./xstart.sh
  3. When you are in proot run:
    sh ./code.sh
And that is it, to leave just type exit in proot and sh ./xstop.sh in termux.
Syncing your Github account with VS Code will work since you already have a browser installed, with some patience and using the Local open when signing in it will all work out.
If there are any edits recommendations or fixes that I should know of or add to this tutorial please let me know and I will update this post.

2023.06.03 20:42 Ill_Transportation49 Setting up remote access to home network

Hello, I have dell poweredge server that is running Proxmox VE. I have like 6 servers running on the machine that have web GUI's. These are like proxmox manager, pfsense, openbullet2, wireguard.
Currently I have the proxmox manager port forwarded. When I want to do remote access, I connect to my home ip, login to proxmox, and use the pve NoVNC console to access a Linux mint desktop running on the server. From this desktop I just type in the local ip of the GUI I want and access it that way.
However, this is very very slow, and I feel like just having my whole PVE login hanging out on the net is no bueno. If someone somehow got by that login then they would have access to everything on the server plus anything on my home network like my TV and PC because it's all on the same subnet.
So what I would like is instructions on how to not do this. I want to have a web page I can visit and login to. I just want the web page hanging out on the net and login to that and then have links there that I can click on that will take me to the GUI I want. And I want it to be secured with like a VPN. Is this possible? I understand it is a large task but any little bits help. Explaining things like firewall/VPN configuration or how to setup VLANs would be very helpful. I know some things but please try to explain simply as possible why I need to do one thing or another because I'm a noob. Even links to articles would be great.
TLDR: PVE is WAN facing and thats how I remote access home network. I want to not do this and have a secure way to login to a web page and access various web GUIs with local addresses. Like so that when I login to the web page or whatever it is like I'm in my house on my pc.

2023.06.03 17:59 blanketsforsnakes Director of Finance yelled at me

Title says it all. I am an HR Manager for a company that employs roughly 500 associates.
Originally when I came on to this job a few weeks ago, I was reporting to the Director of Finance, who was handling all the HR related processing since their HR coordinator quit 8 months prior. They have never had a formal HR presence. I sensed almost immediately that the director felt threatened, as she would not release access/logins to HR platforms I require to do my job.
For example, she did not want to give me access to our payroll/HRIS to run turnover reports...she would manually send me an excel spreadsheet with all the information missing besides the name and term date..
However, the company is going through a complete overhaul. Folks with 18+ years of tenure have given their notice upon the news of my arrival as well as a new CEO.
The new CEO expressed my first day that I should report to him, and I agree 100%. After the new CEO shared this information with the director, they pushed back but couldn't give a reason why this should live with her team.
I was informed shortly after that effective immediately, I am to report to the CEO. That same afternoon, the director calls me into her office and confidently states we will do a temporary "dual reporting" structure for the next 90 days, then I am to report directly to her again.
I immediately call the CEO out of confusion. What is going on here?! He shares the same confusion, as she had accepted the change and was in agreement just a few hours before.
Fast forward to multiple conversations between the former CEO with the director - she sends out an email stating that HR tasks will be transferred by August 31st of this year. (She did not consult me or the new CEO)
She then comes to my desk and states this is an arbitrary date, and we don't ever need to pass on these tasks if I am not comfortable/overwhelmed. I explain that this timeline is more than reasonable, but I think we can transfer duties within the next 30 days.
The next day, I start processing requests that are coming through to the shared HR inbox. (Director is the only other person with access) She completely flips her lid and asks for a meeting with me and yells "WHAT DID YOU NOT UNDERSTAND ABOUT THE EMAIL I SENT YESTERDAY?!"
I said I am confused, is the expectation that I am not to process HR related inquiries in my HR MANAGER role?? She responds that my focus is on overhauling onboarding and I am not to touch the HR inbox. I said I'm uncomfortable discussing this without the two CEOS, who ultimately need to decide what my role is here. If that is the directive, it needs to come from them. I added that this conversation is escalating and there is obvious friction that can't be solved without the two other parties involved.
Am I missing something?? Questions, concerns, and curse words have been consuming my brain the last 24 hours. I JUST accepted this job, and I have been in a similar situation so I don't feel confident that I will be able to work in this environment.
It is probably important to note that the director has been with the org for the last few years, without an on-site leadership presence (former CEO is out of state) and she has been acting as their right hand for the entirety of her service here. New HR, taking a chunk of her workload. New CEO, changing the company structure. I am sure it is a weird feeling. But also, she has expressed she has too much on her plate, and this is why I was brought on. So we can divide and conquer based on our experience/expertise.
Typically, it would not bother me who I am reporting to, as long as I have autonomy in my role. However, this director shares confidential information to lower ranking associates and it spreads like wildfire. In my opinion they have no business any where near HR.
(Apologies for any grammar issues, I am on mobile.)

Nextcloud only showing splash screen from outside of LAN
Hello, I'm new to having my own server and having a little difficulty setting up Nextcloud through a reverse proxy.
I setup Nextcloud on my unraid server and it's working on my local network. I have a domain through Cloudflare and have NginxProxyManager (with custom ssl) on my server that directs traffic.
The weird thing is that Nextcloud seems to connect but nothing shows on the screen; I can see the Nextcloud logo and the background image with the clouds but no login box.
Other applications are working fine, like overseerr, I can access using the subdomain.
Is it something in the cloudflare settings? I've looked at the logs but don't see anything abnormal. I have tried it with and without HSTS and it's the same result.
Any help is appreciated.
