Does anyone else’s location not have overweight or obese people on outside window or is it just mine? Ive been working at my Chick-fil-A for 6 months and have not seen an overweight or obese person on outside window.

2023.03.29 02:03 UltraMermaid I’m so paranoid about listeria and food poisoning that I have basically stopped eating fresh foods

FTM 7+5. Pre-pregnancy I would normally have Panera salad, burrito from a local shop, Jimmy Johns, Roti mediterranean bowl… fast casual healthy fresh options. I despise cooking so so much that I get restaurant food almost every day (breakfast I’ll have oatmeal or cereal at home). I am so scared about food poisoning and hurting the baby that I have been eating Chick Fil A, McDonald’s… heavily cooked foods that are less likely to have bacteria. Which is fine, I know, but it’s making me feel extra bloated and blah. Just wondering if anyone has advice. I have my first ultrasound Thursday so maybe I’ll feel better after seeing the baby.

2023.03.28 23:29 RobbyThrasher Honest opinions about big Popeyes.

> I absolutely despise Popeyes chicken. They are a poor example of quality fast food for a cheap price for they are neither quality, nor cheap. Imagine if you will paying $14.99 for a combo meal with strips, fries, gravy, biscuits, and a drink. You would expect something decent quality yet only to be given three under cooked nugget sized cuts of chicken no bigger then a McDonald's Mc' Nugget, fries soggy beyond any enjoyment of consumption, a styrofoam shot glass of cold tasteless almost solid ooze plastered with the name "gravy" and dare I even say the issue with the biscuit, however it is probably the most edible component to this "meal." The drink is nowhere near the appropriate size to be labeled a large, and is a medium at best, and don't even get me started on their seasonal chicken sandwich. The most bland, and tasteless sandwich I have ever had, and not even the same level as enjoyable as a Chick-fil-A sandwich yet their legion of sheep still claim it to be superior. I haven't even stated the neglectful employees who don't even cook their food properly. In 2018 almost 80% of all customer complaints were related to customers getting food poisoning after consuming at their establishment, and that number has only jumped to 91% in 2023 according to reports from the FDA. I absolutely despise this franchise, and their horrid treatment of customers who seek a quick meal with no knowledge of what they find themselves getting into, and the poor quality of what they love, and pride themselves with by calling food. They're truly a stain on the world with with sub 60 IQ Neanderthals who regular their stores, and even lower IQ employees ready to serve you salmonella on a platter, while bearing a smile with a shirt saying the absurd lie of a slogan "Love that chicken from Popeyes." No Popeyes. I will not love your chicken as your entire existence infuriates me to a point beyond boiling.

2023.03.28 23:13 Skankhunt42m Debate on "Fast Good Tier List"

So I was relistening to the fast food tier list episode. I remember being a little bit off put by their disdain for Chick-fil-A due to the opinions if the owner vs corporate viewings/donation locations. (NOT TRYING TO START A LBGTQ DEBATE HERE). I wanted to see how everyone in the community felt on the topic? Are you turned off by a company's ownership personal views? Does thay negatively effect you're ability to enjoy a restaurant?

2023.03.28 20:19 selantra Great food places for fundraisers and catering

Hey all,
Two questions for the community.
I am lookingfor places to cater lunch for a radiology department. We liked to do a monthly catered lunch that employees can choose to partake in. It would need to be something people could come in and grab on lunch. We like to keep it between 8-14 dollars a meal as employees buy their meal.
Second question, any local food spots that do fundraising? We have already done Krispy Kreme, Chick-fil-A, and Roll up. Looking for other food options we can see for fund raising at a hospital.Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are all very popular.

2023.03.28 19:14 Pylon-Cam Why do people think it’s ok to cut to the front of the line just because their friend is already in line?

After waiting through a long line at the MSC Chick-fil-a, a group of three people joined their friend right in front of me in line. I didn’t confront them or anything because it wasn’t worth making a scene, but it was really aggravating.
Why do people think that’s ok? Show some respect to your fellow Ags.

2023.03.28 13:51 CourageFuture is threatening customers part of the job?

Recently went to a ChickFilA a couple days ago. My order wasn’t big, only four orders of strips and two fries. No combos, no drinks, nothing else. The line is moving slowly and the employees outside are just talking to each other while the cars keep piling up. When I finally get to the window, there’s two girls talking about going skiing for the weekend. After about two minutes of awkwardly waiting for my food and listening to their conversation, they tell me, “you need to park there, the food isn’t ready.” The girl was pretty rude about it and it rubbed me the wrong away since I had already waited in line and at the window. I asked politely if I could stay in the line because I was in a hurry and calculating how much time I spent in the line after ordering (5 min) and at the window (2 min), I thought my food would be ready in a minute or two. The girl rolled her eyes and left. Some guy in a gray jacket came and yelled at me, “listen lady, you have to move.” Immediately, I did not like his attitude. He came over very menacingly. Had he asked me nicely and said how long it was going to take, I would have had zero problem moving, but honestly with his attitude and with the other girl’s attitude, I felt zero inclination to move for people who were going through some power trip at a ChickFilA. The guy said back to me, “So you’re going to be that way, HUH?” I watched him say something to an employee and the girl left to go do something. There was probably at least ten cashiers in there. With so many workers, shouldn’t there be zero issue with cooking 16 chicken strips for one order? They ended up taking their sweet time with my order. When they hand me my food (my fries were so cold), the girl throws my bag at me. It nearly falls to the floor because of the force she threw it. Luckily, I caught it, but as I look up, I see her glaring at me. Did she want my food to land on the floor? The experience was so bad. I don’t care about getting food or anything out of this. I just want to talk to someone that can talk to their employees about their attitude with customers. What do I do?
