I didn't hit it or anything. This is going to sound silly but I think I just sat on the floor too long. I'm a person who will do that leisurely. Usually it doesn't hurt me but the other day when I stood up my tailbone felt like it was on fire. Now I feel it every single time I sit down and if I sit at an angle that leans on that part of my body it is unbearable.
When I touch the area it feels like a muscle is irritated. Standing is the most comfortable position right now.
What's happening and is there anything I can do? I've been taking a pain killer and tried icing the area

2023.06.07 10:41 Nyamburajane Best Robot Vacuum Cleaners

Before I list the best vacuum cleaners that you can rely on, let me first give my insights on how to go about choosing one:
Take a pen and a book and have this down, you might the info while purchasing. Or lets make work easier, if you have no time to write down, you can check this guide where I have narrowed down for you the best robot vacuums you can rely on.
I use the Roborock vacuum, It has done excellent work for me for quite sometime now and i cant complain. I am in the process of testing the iRobot vacuum.
Meanwhile, lets see what to expect in a reliable robot Vac.
1.Cleaning Performance
One important aspect to evaluate is the cleaning performance of a robot vacuum. Look for models with strong suction power and effective brush systems that can efficiently remove dust, dirt, and debris from various floor surfaces.
2.Navigation and Mapping
Advanced robot vacuum cleaners are equipped with sensors and intelligent mapping technology. These features enable the robot to navigate efficiently around obstacles, avoid falls or collisions, and create a map of the cleaning area. Mapping capabilities often contribute to better cleaning coverage and the ability to schedule specific cleaning zones.
3.Battery Life and Recharge Ability
Since robot vacuums operate autonomously, it's essential to consider the battery life and the ability to recharge. Look for models with longer battery life, as it ensures that the vacuum can complete cleaning tasks without interruption. Additionally, some advanced robots have the ability to recharge automatically and resume cleaning from where they left off.
4.Control and Connectivity
Many robot vacuum cleaners can be controlled and monitored through smartphone apps or voice assistants. This will allow you to start or schedule cleaning sessions remotely, adjust settings, and receive cleaning reports or notifications. Connectivity options vary, so it's worth checking compatibility with the preferred smart home ecosystem.
5.Price and Budget
Robot vacuum cleaners come in a range of prices, so it's important to consider the budget. Higher-priced models generally offer more advanced features and better performance, but it's crucial to find the right balance between features and price based on individual needs and preferences.
Those are some of the major features you can consider while planning to get a new vac. Something i almost forget to mention, rob vacs are compatible with both hardwood floors and carpet too.

Chapter 1 . Advanced Practice Nursing: Doing What Has to Be Done-Radicals, Renegades, and Rebels MULTIPLE CHOICE
  1. The nurse manager of a pediatric clinic could confirm that the new nurse recognized the purpose of the HEADSS Adolescent Risk Profile when the new nurse responds that it is used to assess for needs related to a. anticipatory guidance. b. low-risk adolescents. c. physical development. d. sexual development. ANS: A The HEADSS Adolescent Risk Profile is a psychosocial assessment screening tool which assesses home, education, activities, drugs, sex, and suicide for the purpose of identifying high-risk adolescents and the need for anticipatory guidance. It is used to identify high-risk, not low-risk, adolescents. Physical development is assessed with anthropometric data. Sexual development is assessed using physical examination. 2. The nurse preparing a teaching plan for a preschooler knows that, according to Piaget, the expected stage of development for a preschooler is a. concrete operational. b. formal operational. c. preoperational. d. sensorimotor.
ANS: C The expected stage of development for a preschooler (3 to 4 years old) is preoperational. Concrete operational describes the thinking of a school-age child (7 to 11 years old). Formal operational describes the thinking of an individual after about 11 years of age. Sensorimotor describes the earliest pattern of thinking from birth to 2 years old. REF: 5 OBJ: NCLEX Client Needs Category: Health Promotion and Maintenance 3. The school nurse talking with a high school class about the difference between growth and development would best describe growth as a. processes by which early cells specialize. b. psychosocial and cognitive changes. c. qualitative changes associated with aging. d. quantitative changes in size or weight. ANS: D Growth is a quantitative change in which an increase in cell number and size results in an increase in overall size or weight of the body or any of its parts. The processes by which early cells specialize are referred to asdifferentiation. Psychosocial and cognitive changes are referred to as development. Qualitative changes associated with aging are referred to as maturation. REF: 2 OBJ: NCLEX Client Needs Category: Health Promotion and Maintenance 4. The most appropriate response of the nurse when a mother asks what the Denver II does is that it a. can diagnose developmental disabilities. b. identifies a need for physical therapy. c. is a developmental screening tool. d. provides a framework for health teaching. ANS: C The Denver II is the most commonly used measure of developmental status used by health care professionals; it is a screening tool. Screening tools do not provide a diagnosis. Diagnosis requires a thorough neurodevelopment history and physical examination. Developmental delay, which is
suggested by screening, is a symptom, not a diagnosis. The need for any therapy would be identified with a comprehensive evaluation, not a screening tool. Some providers use the Denver II as a framework for teaching about expected development, but this is not the primary purpose of the tool. REF: 4 OBJ: NCLEX Client Needs Category: Health Promotion and Maintenance 5. To plan early intervention and care for an infant with Down syndrome, the nurse considers knowledge of other physical development exemplars such as a. cerebral palsy. b. failure to thrive. c. fetal alcohol syndrome. d. hydrocephaly. ANS: D Hydrocephaly is also a physical development exemplar. Cerebral palsy is an exemplar of adaptive developmental delay. Failure to thrive is an exemplar of social/emotional developmental delay. Fetal alcohol syndrome is an exemplar of cognitive developmental delay. REF: 9 OBJ: NCLEX Client Needs Category: Health Promotion and Maintenance 6. To plan early intervention and care for a child with a developmental delay, the nurse would consider knowledge of the concepts most significantly impacted by development, including a. culture. b. environment. c. functional status. d. nutrition. ANS: C Function is one of the concepts most significantly impacted by development. Others include sensory-perceptual, cognition, mobility, reproduction, and sexuality. Knowledge of these concepts can help the nurse anticipate areas that need to be addressed. Culture is a concept that is considered to significantly affect development; the difference is the concepts that affect development are those that represent major influencing factors (causes), hence determination of development and would be the focus of preventive interventions. Environment is considered to significantly affect
development. Nutrition is considered to significantly affect development. REF: 1 OBJ: NCLEX Client Needs Category: Health Promotion and Maintenance 7. A mother complains to the nurse at the pediatric clinic that her 4-year-old child always talks to her toys and makes up stories. The mother wants her child to have a psychologic evaluation. The nurses best initial response is to a. refer the child to a psychologist. b. explain that playing make believe with dolls and people is normal at this age. c. complete a developmental screening. d. separate the child from the mother to get more information. ANS: B By the end of the fourth year, it is expected that a child will engage in fantasy, so this is normal at this age. A referral to a psychologist would be premature based only on the complaint of the mother. Completing a developmental screening would be very appropriate but not the initial response. The nurse would certainly want to get more information, but separating the child from the mother is not necessary at this time. 2023.06.07 10:35 scoopspryzen Saw this black circular shadow moving across the ground, very fast

I was on the balcony (on the 30th floor of a skyscraper), looking down at the progress of some roads when I suddenly just see this black circular shadow with like a radius of 2 cars, and its moving extremely fast. At first i thought it was the shadow of a plane but there was no sound and a plan wouldn’t have a circular shadow. I looked up but there’s literally nothing flying above me, and within a few seconds the shadow is so far away. Is the right sub for this?

2023.06.07 10:35 nunyabesnes I wish I loved myself as much as my friends love me

I(21f) am staying up late because for some reason I can’t sleep. Maybe it’s because I feel a little sick but my thoughts started wandering. I wished I could love me the way my friends love me. For most of my life, I dealt with depression and anxiety from stuff happening in my life that I don’t want to talk about. I was forced to care about everyone except myself and somehow I forgot to be me one day. About a few years ago, my life changed and I suddenly found myself being allowed the choice to be me for once. I think spite for the people who hurt me made me push hard to heal and be myself but it was hard to fight depersonalization for a long time. I knew I could be loved but it’s hard to understand how you could be loved when you can’t feel yourself. I didn’t start feeling normal until my 18th birthday when I saw how many people came to my birthday party which was the first time I had celebrated in years. Some people didn’t want to leave me and we ended up having a sleepover where we all slept on the floor of my tiny bedroom. That was the best birthday I ever had. I’m in a mentally better place now but I still can’t believe how much people love me. I don’t hate myself anymore and I recently started having days where I can smile at myself in the mirror but I’m still learning to see myself the way my friends see me. Maybe someday I’ll get there.

2023.06.07 10:29 Remarkable_Leek_1924 Thinking aloud hoping for feedback

I'm still figuring out my proper dosage/med type. But have noticed even on a relatively small 10mg xr dose, I see instant improvement. Prior to medication, I'd consume 8-12 cans or a 6 pack of mtn dew bottles daily plus a 2-3 monsters. Now I drink 1-2 cans of mtn dew and maybe 1 monster. I've had a constant ringing/buzzing which I thought was tinnitus that dissapears while medicated. That was a relief to finally have silence for the first time that I can remember. I can look at a task and attempt to complete it rather than ignoring it knowing I'll lose a part or forget what I was doing and ultimately fail anyways. Still need to stop getting side tracked at every shiny thing I see along the way but 1 day at a time this 37 yo will get better 🙏. What was your instant (relief) improvement you noticed? Also, what type of work have most found to be the most manageable or easy to excel at? I've done everything from farm work ❤️, meat packing, Army, retail, warehouse loading trucks, driving semi OTR and concrete trucks, Wood framing and roofing to my current job as a caretaker of vulnerable adults. Of all of them this is the first time I've held the same job for more then a year. Anyone else struggle with that?

2023.06.07 10:28 gh0stieeh Filling my time

Hey all! After a long 2.5 years, I'm about to graduate! I have a possible casual job starting, but I'm actually fearing what I'm going to do with my empty days. Without something to do, my mental health goes bananas, but unfortunately for my field, a full time job, or further study isn't available to me currently. I'm happy with having a casual job, I tend to go a bit bonkers working any kind of 9-5 or something that's not a passion.
Looking for suggestions on how to fill my days, with no short-term future concrete goals.
I have a variety of hobbies, but I'm quite poor, so I don't have spare money to spend on deep diving into something new.
Maybe ideas of what people did during lockdown would suit me, or even ideas of free courses to study.
Thank you

Hello everyone my name is Messiah and I'm 22 years old. I got my first apt on Christmas Eve and while I'm really proud of myself it has been a hard couple of months. I am facing eviction right now but one thing I really need help with is food/ supplies for my house. I don't have anything in here, it's been empty. I sleep on an air mattress that has a lot of holes in it so I have to get up every couple of hours to refill it otherwise I end up on the floor. It's really affecting my health. Most of the list is food because I'm always starving (should be starting a job soon). But there's also self-care things, cleaning supplies and roach bait bc i have those unfortunately lol. Anything will help. Stay blessed guys.

2023.06.07 10:26 EquineConfessions Am I the Ahole Equine Edition

As an example..
Am I the Ahole?
A girl (17) at my stables continues to use my haynets, even though she has some, albeit with some holes in them. Let’s call this girl Emily, her mother brought her a horse around 6 months ago, money is definitely not an issue for them.
I like to pre-make my haynets, Emily apparently likes when I do this too. She leaves her stable unmucked out until the evening, but puts a haynet in her stable every morning, my pre-made haynet.
On this particular afternoon I had enough, I went into her stable and emptied the hay onto the floor (not on the unmucked out bed) and swiftly took my haynet back, and stored it out of Emily’s grasp.
Emily’s mother must be aware she is using my haynets as she came to me directly, to complain about what I had done.. the horse came in at around 4pm (turnout and bring in are included in livery) and said horse made a lovely hay ridden bed for Emily to muck out. I did not feel slightly bad for her, the horse had hay, water, and it was not my job to muck out anyways so that is irrelevant.

I, an EMT/Paramedic, am now working on rhino conservation. The future will persist.
"I'm Johanna Decker from Germany and I'm an EMT /Paramedic. My passion is wildlife conservation, nature, traveling, and taking photos. Dedicated to rhino conservation."

A Rhino Conservation Seed As A Child.
Once upon a time in Germany, there lived a spirited and unconventional girl named Johanna Decker. From a young age, Johanna was drawn to the wonders of nature and wildlife, eschewing dolls for muddy adventures and outdoor exploration. She possessed a deep love for animals and an insatiable curiosity about the natural world.

Licensed by Johanna
After Work Rhino Conservation

"I came to the rescue service by accident and turned my passion into a profession. I love my job, even if it's not always easy."

As she grew older, Johanna's passion for helping others and her desire to make a difference led her on an unexpected path towards rhino conservation. Despite her childhood dreams of becoming a veterinarian or a police officer, Johanna found herself dedicated to the emergency protection of endangered rhinos. Her role as an EMT/Paramedic became a stepping stone that transformed her passion for wildlife into a lifelong mission to rhino conservation.

Licensed by Johanna
She said: I've been doing this job for 8 years now and it fills me up every day. It makes me happy to be able to help people in difficult situations. It is not always easy to deal with an emergency situation, but at the end of the day you go home with a good feeling.
Johanna discovered that the medical field exemplified the swift and unpredictable nature of life itself. To maintain a healthy work-life balance and give her all to her challenging profession as an EMT, she dedicated her free time to activities that nourished her body and soul, especially rhino conservation. Protecting endangered rhinos, exploring nature, traveling to wildlife habitats, and capturing the beauty of rhinos through photography became her outlets, allowing her to recharge and return to her job with a lifelong passion for rhino conservation.

First emergency

"One of my first real emergencies in the emergency services was giving birth. We have been called to action, the message was severe abdominal pain. When we arrived on site, we found a very distraught man who brought us into the living room to his wife who was lying on the floor. It turned out pretty quickly that she was in labor. Then everything happened very quickly. The amniotic sac had already burst and we could already see the child's head. That's why we decided to have the child on site. Everything went well and since the father was too excited, I was allowed to cut the umbilical cord. Operations like this make the job the people are so grateful for our work."

Licensed by Johanna
Johanna not only talks to us about the emergency she encountered in her first job as an EMT, but also shares how the plight of these magnificent rhinos ignited her lifelong dedication to rhino conservation.
She refused to stand idly by while these ancient creatures, who had roamed the earth for millions of years, teetered on the brink of extinction due to the senseless demand for their horns. Be sure of rhino conservation. Rhinos were being slaughtered for their horns, their mothers cruelly taken from them, all for a substance as mundane as keratin—the same material found in our nails and hair. To protect these endangered rhinos, Johanna embarked on a mission to raise awareness about rhino conservation and stop rampant poaching threatening their survival.
"What touched my soul the most was my work with orphan rhinos. These animals lost their mothers to us humans, they had to experience incredible things. All the trauma and suffering, the physical and emotional pain. And yet they allow us as humans to give them the bottle and they trust us again. That's an incredible feeling. So I had to rhino conservation"
With an unwavering determination to protect rhinos, Johanna embarked on a lifelong mission to raise awareness about the rhino poaching crisis and advance rhino conservation. She traveled to Africa, connecting with local communities, interviewing people, and supporting rhino conservation efforts by various organizations. In her encounters with orphaned rhinos, victims of the poaching epidemic, Johanna witnessed both their immense suffering and their remarkable capacity to trust humans once again with the right care and protection. It was a profound experience that evoked a whirlwind of emotions within her—pain, sadness, anger at the cruelty of poachers, but also awe, joy, and happiness from protecting and bonding with these endangered rhinos.

A Love Affair With Rhino Conservation

"My love for rhinos and Africa started very early. My first lamp as a baby was in the shape of a rhino. Since my grandfather lived in Namibia, I was there for the first time when I was 10 years old. And fell in love with the country. I then also volunteered several times in animal sanctuaries. However, the rhinos never really let go of me. It can't be that an animal that has roamed our planet for millions of years is on the brink of extinction just because of its horns. That's why rhino conservation is so imminent."

Licensed by Johanna
Johanna worked as a volunteer in a rhino orphanage. It's just amazing, it's not an easy job. She said: You sweat, you get blisters on your hands from shoveling crap, you get up early and you work all day. But when she thinks of rhino conservation, it's worth the effort.
It is a psychological and physical strain, the suffering, the trauma that each of these animals had to go through. Each of these babies is a little miracle in their own way. Every rhino counts. And volunteering is much more than just preparing milk for baby animals. For Johanna, it is her small part to contribute to the preservation of the species. The real heroes for me are the women and men in the APUs who risk their lives day and night. She spoke to the local people and started getting first aid kits for them as they are really needed in the bush. This includes the 10 RHINO RESCUE IFAK Trauma Kit donated by Rhino Rescue. In the worst case, gunshot wounds occur and these wildlife heroes have to be taken care of.This will greatly help the rhino conservation cause.

Licensed by Johanna
Unfortunately, in the fight against rhino poaching, a human life does not count for much when measured against the immense profits from rhino horn. On the black market, a single kilogram of rhino horn fetches between 60,000 and 80,000 US dollars due to the unfounded belief in its medicinal properties. That's more than the price of gold or cocaine. To advance rhino conservation and stop this deadly trade threatening their survival, Johanna will not cease her lifelong efforts to raise awareness about rhino poaching, preserve these endangered species, and protect their natural habitats. We urgently need to draw more global attention to this poaching crisis and support organizations dedicated to rhino conservation all over the world. The cause of rhino conservation requires a concerted effort by all.

Rhino Conservation is a Mission

As her lifelong dedication to rhino conservation deepened, Johanna volunteered at a rhino orphanage, witnessing firsthand the immense physical and emotional toll from poaching that these endangered animals endured. Each baby rhino, rescued and orphaned victim of poaching, that she encountered was a testament to resilience in the face of such cruelty, a small miracle in its own right that reignited her drive to stop this deadly trade. Filled with a profound sense of responsibility to protect rhinos, Johanna saw her role in preserving these majestic but threatened creatures as more than just preparing milk bottles. Also, we need to call everyone together rhino conservation. It was her way of contributing to the survival of this species on the brink of extinction, raising awareness about the poaching crisis that endangered their very existence, and ensuring that future generations would still have the opportunity to witness rhinos roaming free in their native habitats. Based on this, rhino conservation is also performed.

Meet Rhino Rescue with Rhino Conservation

"I was very grateful when I received the Rhino Rescue products and brought them to Namibia. I know that the guys in the APU are now optimally equipped for emergencies and that gives me a very good feeling. This is a great help for rhino conservation.I hope they never need to use it, but when are they ready for it? It will help a lot."

For rhino conservation efforts.
Amidst her lifelong dedication to rhino conservation, Johanna never forgot her roots as an EMT/Paramedic. She admired the immense bravery and unwavering commitment of the rangers in the Anti-Poaching Units (APUs), who risked their lives daily to protect endangered rhinos and combat poaching. Johanna was deeply inspired by their passion and fighting spirit in rhino conservation, and she felt profound gratitude for their tireless work on the frontline.
The story of Johanna Decker is a powerful testament to following one's passion for rhino conservation and taking action against this poaching crisis threatening their survival. Rhino conservation also requires a concerted effort. Her journey from a nature-loving child to a passionate wildlife advocate and paramedic exemplifies the transformative impact that individuals can have on protecting rhinos from extinction. Through her lifelong dedication and tireless efforts in raising awareness, Johanna strives to ensure that future generations will still have the opportunity to witness rhinos, these majestic but endangered species, roaming freely in their natural habitats.

And so, Johanna's story continues, as she fearlessly ventures into the unknown, armed with her camera, her compassion, and a determination to protect the precious treasures of our natural world. Continue Rhino conservation career.

2023.06.07 10:19 nerdolo Remapping controls on controler suddenly made me much better at the game on new playthrough, try it!

I don't take any credit for figuring this out as one change I found here on this sub while looking for nailart tips and the other is from fireb0rn.
  1. Remap your attack to button above left trigger
  2. Remap quickcast to one of the four main buttons for your right thumb.
Second one is kinda nobrainer, quickcast is super useful and having it on more obvious spot is better. First one can be confusing and I personally didn't manage to make transition on late game save, but it's easy to learn when using from the start.
Having attack there has huge benefits imo, with default controls most of your left hand doesn't do much but right is overloaded, especially the thumb. This is really obvious when you try to do nailarts or beat something like no floor section in colo 3, same finger doing attack, jump and cast is a pain then. For me passing attack to my left hand allowed me to have MUCH more movement control during fights and nailarts suddenly became usable.
With this remap my on my third playthrough I beat most bosses first try and colo 3 on second try, even though I was really stuck on it even on my second playthrough. Really recommend trying it out if you use controler!

2023.06.07 10:14 Wish-Double Judge this opening

The world was gone. Veris paid no attention to the raised voices that echoed around him nor the hunched figure of his father kneeling in front of the men that crowded the tent's opening. None of that mattered.
This thing wasn't his mother. It couldn't be. It was impossible. Its lips were bruised, purple, and bloated. Through its small mouth gap, Veris saw Cracked and smashed teeth daggering into its gums. He almost fell back at the bloody sight. His mother's smile could warm their entire tent in the winter. His mother's skin was soft and flawless, not like the beaten leather draped across a shattered resemblance of a lady. The wrist snapped into the wrong position. Chest caved in. Thick, Raven hair ripped out in patches and dyed in blood. NO. She wasn't this cruel to look at. His mother was the sunshine, the first warm summer breeze that traveled with the smell of sugar plumbs and Perfumed silk. His mother was alive, not this destroyed, dead thing splayed out on his kitchen table.
This was one of the Abara boy’s tricks, an illusion meant to scare Veris into believing something that couldn’t happen—ringing filled Veris's ears. His Tears felt like oil running down his face. He fell from the chair, collapsing on the hardened dirt they had for a floor. How could this happen? She was just going out to get food. How could this happen?
"Tell the boy to rise," shouted a commanding, unfamiliar voice. Veris raised his head and locked gazes with the speaker. A light-skinned Tusta caste soldier dressed in a crisp white uniform adorned with silver bells. Three other soldiers stood beside him, their uniforms tinged with shades of grey denoting their lower rank. The justice of Tylansi had come to Veris's home—sudden and brutal. Veris was ensnared, lost in the man's cold and ruthless eyes. He was like a demon from the scriptures given flesh. Solid shoulders and a great, black beard that swallowed his face. He was tall and muscular, not like a hero, but like the stories of trickster devils that stole wives out of their husbands' beds that Veris’s mother read to him.
"His name is Veris. The almightly himself blessed him with it. Tusta or not, you will not disrespect his god-given dignity." A voice Veris knew well chastised the soldier. It was humbleman Nara, the village's holy leader. The elderly man was wrapped in a sheer gossamer robe interwoven with strings of blue and green. The colors of the Acaska caste. The lowerest within the Tylansi sovereignty. Veris had rarely seen the kind man raise his voice at anyone. Let alone a man of a higher caste.
A gray-clad soldier darted towards Nara with his hand on the strap of his gun holster. " Watch your tongue—Acaska filth. You are in the presence of your lords. Mind yourself under the almighty's watchful eyes." Shouted the man, only inches away from Nara's face. Nara tried to stay firm, but Veris noticed a shaking in the older man's frame.
"We are here for remuneration, not the execution of holy men. Begone Cosia. You are not needed in this matter." The white-clothed soldier looked to the other. "Yes. Sir. I'll secure the area. Some of these Acaska are as sly as snakes," The young man saluted to his leader. Turned, spat in Nara's face, and marched into the village. Nara displayed no emotion, but his shaking lessened.
His father's thin form hobbled to the side of Veris and stared down at him. Veris met his father's amber eyes with twins of his own. He would never have imagined a gaze as lost and helpless could ever belong to his father. His father stabbed his skeletal fingers into Veris's thigh. The boy jerked up at the touch. His dress robes were smeared with dirt and grime. The stitched design of a dragon his mother had sowed onto it fell off as he rosed. Veris raced to catch it but was stopped by his father's firm grip.
"Get up, little bear. We have to welcome the Lords to our home. They are here for judgment." Glaris Al'dan, Veris's father, spoke softly into his ear. Veris sprang forward and wrapped his slender arms around his neck.
After the village famine began, his father rarely spoke to him. "You look them in the eye when they ask you a question. Veris. This is serious. They have to believe your words. okay?" Glaris patted Veris on the back and gently pushed him toward the entrance.
"What about Mama? Are they here to help her?" Veris asked shakily. " Hush now, my brave little bear. Your mother is in the hands of the Almighty. She's singing in his divine choir and spreading your name throughout the heavens. We must protect ourselves now." Glaris spoke. Veris wiped away the new tears that tracked down his face. He wouldn't give the devils a chance to bottle his tears.
Five feet away from the soldiers, they halted. And just as they had practiced before, they did the honorable position of submission when addressing a higher caste. Hands-on knees and head bow to the waist.
" Veris Al'dan, are you aware of the crime brought against you and your family on this almightly day?" The white leader asked. The voice was dead and cold.
" No, my lord surpeme. I was woken up from my sleep by my father's cries. My mother said she was going to the village over to barter for food, " Veris said in a voice laced with pain. He knew
" Your mother was found attempting to steal bread from a Tusta-owned bakery. When confronted, she attacked the owner and ran. The owner's sons caught her. She has paid for her transgression against the law.” The white soldier stated with
