So I've had a 1tb Sabrent Rocket 2230 sitting around for two weeks because I've been terrified of damaging the deck. I also couldn't decide if cloning or reinstalling Steam OS was the best option - I've seen trouble with both options.
However after seeing this guide recommended on here it all went more smoothly than I can could've possibly imagined.

The konsole command cloned my 64gb drive in 10 mins and the installation took about 30 mins.

The only problem I had was I could not get the battery disconnected - I have one of the recent Deck varients with a short/folded cable that is very difficult to move. I'd discharged the battery to 25% and set to battery storage mode so I took a risk a left the battery connected - I was worried if I pulled too hard I'd damage the deck. The risk payed off but I don't recommend anyone else do this. However a lot of guides are out of date for the newer batteries. Something to bare in mind.

How The Chart Works:

These charts are created based on how frequently each song appears in the top 10 songs/albums for all of the users signed up for the chart. If the song or album occupies that user's #1 spot in their individual chart, it receives 15 points, then 14 points for #2, so on and so forth until 6 points for #10. If there is a tie, which is a common occurrence, then the number of points is averaged across those positions, e.g. if two songs are tied for #1, both will receive 14.5 points. Oftentimes there will be multiple songs tied for the last place, in which case the number of points each song receives decreases until it bottoms out at 1 point each.

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to share my rig setup, more so in case anyone has questions on various bits or considering buying them themselves (excuse the mess as keep putting off painting the wall). I read reddit a lot during my time building it and thought it about time to share now I actually have something to add.
I built my PC in March 2020 with a few upgrades since, and I’ve been sim racing since mid 2000 with gradual upgrades. I’ve added pictures from the end showing the different iterations. 3 wheelbases in total and 3 pedals. I use it at least 3 times a week and probably average pace and middle pack with the occasional podium or win. The gear is for enjoyment and immersion and not necessarily to make me faster, there’s plenty of people faster than me with much cheaper equipment.

• PC: 9700k, Strix 3080, Strix Z390, 32GB 3000mhz DDR4
• Wheelbase: Simagic Alpha Ultimate
• Wheels: Simagic GTS and Simedal X-GT
• Shifter: SHH Newt Shifter
• Pedals: Heusinkveld Sprints
• Rig: TREQ One 80/40 with some add ons
• Seat: Sparco Grid Q
• Button Box: Sim 3D Simple Button Box
• Wind Sim: Sim 3D Wind Sim Direct Kit (added the ducting myself which is simple air intake kit)
• Tactile Transducers: 3x Dayton Audio Pucks with Nobsound 100W amp (2 pucks run in parrallel). 1 underneath and 2 on the back. Seat is is isolated from rig via rubber mat strips.
• Monitor: PC is MSI 1440p and rig is LG 4k 60hz but this is only used for testing as this is a monitor from another room which is only used occasionally so FOV is not important as I race exclusively in VR.
• VR headset: Reverb G2 (quest 2 used originally)
• Headphones: Razer Blackshark V2 pro
• Various cable tidy kits, anti-vibration matting, seat slider, seat mount and usb cable extensions.

Originally started on a Thustmaster T80 and pedals which I had with a PS4 a few years prior and then tried on my PC. That effectively got me hooked. Then went to a Fanatec CSL elite with loadcell pedals and playseat challenge, and then the 80/40 rig.
The Simagic wheelbase and wheels are the newest as only had them a week but the rest I’ve had for over a year at least and they've had more than their fair share of use.
Main games I play are ACC, AC, AMS2 and recently iRacing.
Next upgrade is likely the PC by upgrading to 13th Gen 13700k CPU, Motherboard and DDR5 RAM. I’d love a 4090 to go with it but I think I've spent enough already.

The car: 2013 Ford Fusion SE 1.6L
WHAT GOT ME HERE...
Somehow I managed to jump a car wrong after having done this many times in my life. I didn't notice an issue until I left work that night and immediately got a false code (P1299) that set my car into limp mode. I changed the coolant temperature sensor, cleared the codes and the car drove great for around 45 minutes. The code returned, the car went limp and I had to tow it home.
I replaced the ECM with one I purchased from Flagship One (I verified the model number and they program it to my VIN before shipping).
Once installed, I noticed my key would unlock and lock the car which I found weird as part of the process is having to program the keys to the new ECM. I suppose I expected them not to work on the car at all. I tried starting the car and the vehicle would not turn over.
I hired a locksmith who programmed the keys for me but had to do so with jumper cables on my car because it was so dead the instrument cluster wouldn't even light up anymore. After programming the keys, it still would not turn over, I suspect it's because the battery was dead. So I installed a new battery and it still would not turn over.
Now with a new battery, I re-installed the old ECM and tried cranking it to eliminate the possibility of my starter being bad, it cranked. It still has the false code but it does turn over and then goes into limp mode. So it's not my starter, not my battery, not the coolant temperature control sensor, I'm left to believe that the locksmith did not properly program the keys, but of course, I could be wrong about that as well. He programmed the keys in front of me and when compared to what I've seen people do online and the instructions the ECM company provided, he definitely left some steps out. I trusted that he was experienced and didn't need to do those steps.
Has anyone ever experienced a false code like the one I explained? I may have been incorrect in changing the ECM altogether, does anyone have any advice on how to deal with that code or should I get the locksmith to come back out and try again doing all the steps this time?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I have a KG-905G and program it via windows with the radio specific software and a usb cable on com 4. It works as it should.
I got the exact same cable out and got the software for the KG -S88G installed. Nothing I could do could make this radio communicate with the software.
On a whim, I tried a Baofeng programing cable on com 3 from the drawer. Now it works great.
I don't know what the change is for the radio but the cable I have for the 905G will not work with the S88G.
I hope this info saves some people a headache in the future.

I just solved this problem. I'd been using Air Link for a long time with no issues, but after some windows restores and changing some things (new motherboard, some new windows recoveries) Air Link just wouldn't find my PC at all... It just said "Searching for PC" and the wheel spun forever.
I should note that Link via cable worked fine.
So... all the usual caveats apply... PC should be connected via ethernet, Oculus on a good 802.11ax (Wifi6) wifi for best results, both the oculus and PC on the same network etc etc... if all those are true and you're STILL having issues, maybe this will help you too...
Download the latest iTunes for Windows (here as of 3/20/2023) - but don't install it. Just extract the installer to a folder. Inside that extracted folder you'll find `Bonjour64.msi` to install the Bonjour Service on Windows. Installing that immediately made my PC visible again to my Quest 2.
Once AirLink is working again, you can UNINSTALL the Bonjour service. I have to assume that installing the bonjour service does something to windows related to mDNS discovery or naming or something like that, however the actual Bonjour service isn't required. But, perhaps you're like me and for some reason things weren't working any more.
If that helps you, let me know. Hopefully it wasn't just me who was banging my head against the wall for this.
Other notes:

• "IGMP Snooping" should be ENABLED on your network, if it's an available option.
• "Multicast Enhancement" if it's available on your WiFi network should be enabled also.

The above two settings aren't always required but I found they're recommended from various places on the internet as I forged forward on my quest (no pun intended)

I've recently joined a new tracker, and I already have some of their files. So I downloaded some torrents, told qBittorrent not to automatically start them, created the file in the torrent and then clicked "recheck torrent"
qBittorrent found the file 100% and I then manually started seeding. But then reported to the tracker that I downloaded it from peers instead of having 0MB downloaded and just seeding it like I intended. I know the file hasn't actually downloaded because of the speed it verified.
I'm using qBittorrent 4.52 via binhex/arch-qbittorrentvpn docker container with vuetorrent installed as a WebUI but I don't think those things should be a factor in this?
