Link: https://osemtv.co/en/movie/569094/spider-man-across-the-spider-verse If you’re like just about everyone else on the planet who saw Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in 2018 and loved it, you’ve probably been waiting for the sequel. You won’t be waiting long, as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is finally coming out.
After a grueling five-year-long wait, Marvel fans everywhere will finally be able to return to the animated multiverse with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The upcoming sequel's predecessor requires no explanation, as Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse not only ensnared audiences and critics alike but also caught a prestigious Oscar win with a Best Animated Feature award. With "New York's one and only Spider-Man," Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), now becoming a household name, fans of the first film eagerly awaited the day they could see young Miles swing into the Spider-Verse again.
Thankfully, the wait is almost finally over, as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will return to screens soon. This time Miles will not only be reunited with Gwen Stacey (Hailee Steinfeld) and Peter B. Parker (Jake Johnson) but he'll also be introduced to an entire multiversal society of Spider-people created and led by a particularly pessimistic variant of Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac). Though some of the other variants in this secretive organization view Miles as a nuisance more than anything else, they'll have to learn to put those apprehensions aside if they hope to save the multiverse from an all-new terrifying threat. As the release date for the sequel to one of the most celebrated Spider-Man films ever made crawls closer and closer
Everyone's favorite web-slinger from an alternate dimension returns for a second theatrical outing. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse continues the multiverse-spanning adventures of Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), one of the youngest and newest iterations of Spider-Man in his home dimension. A year after the events of Into the Spider-Verse, Miles is introduced to the Spider-Society, an immense organization of different Spider-People who hail from countless alternate dimensions.
The much-anticipated Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is only one day away, and fans can’t wait to see the new adventures of Miles Morales. Once the Sony Pictures-produced movie ends its theatrical run, it will come to the most popular streamers, including Netflix and Disney Plus. But when is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse coming to Netflix and Disney Plus? Here is precisely where and how you can watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse online.
When Is the Release Date for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse?
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was one of the many films to get hit by a delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, moving from its original date of April 8, 2022, to October 7, 2022. That's the date seen in the above trailer, but the film has since seen another significant delay since then. Now the film is officially set for release on June 2, 2023. Hopefully, we won't see another delay, but if it means getting a sequel that lives up to the sky-high heights of the original, we'll gladly wait.
Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in Theaters?
Not only was Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse the subject of rave reviews, but it also pulled in some gargantuan levels of cash at the international box office, with a final tally that quadrupled the film's ninety-million dollar budget. With incredible success like that, it's only natural that Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse would also be taking advantage of a theatrical release. That is the case, as the upcoming film will be exclusively available in theaters when it premieres on June 2nd, 2023.
When is 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' streaming?
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse The home distribution rights for Across the Spider-Verse are in a rather interesting place. In April 2021, it was reported that Sony Studios had signed a multiyear deal with both Netflix and Disney for shared streaming rights to Sony films coming out between 2022 and 2026. This deal includes Across the Spider-Verse as well as the third film in the series, Beyond the Spider-Verse, due out in March 2024.
As for releases like Across the Spider-Verse, the film will be available on Netflix with "first-pay-window-rights" for the first 18 months of its home media release. While it will not be streaming concurrently with its theatrical release, it will be available on Netflix following its theatrical run.
Some of the films are not currently available on the service because Sony has pre-existing partnerships with Starz, as that's where most of the absent films are available to stream. That is except for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which is instead only streaming on Fubo TV and FX Now.
For anyone else looking to watch the film as soon as possible, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be released in theaters on June 2.
How to Watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
At the moment, you can watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse at your local theater. But like most movies these days, it should hit a streaming website in the near future.
Like its predecessor, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a flick produced by multimedia conglomerate Disney. What's more, the production studio owns a number of other famous franchises, like the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars. Titles made under these umbrellas have both hit Disney+ sometime after arriving at the box office. Fans may also know the original Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is currently available to stream on the site as well. So, if the 2023 version follows the same pattern, folks will likely get to see Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on Disney+ later this year too.
As for an exact release date for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, that's more complicated. Most movies produced by Disney often go to its streamer site within three months after debuting in theaters, like the most recent Marvel film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. If this is the case for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, it will probably drop in late August 2023 or sometime near Labor Day in early September.
When the time comes for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse to splash onto Disney+ though, make sure you're all prepared to watch it. If you don't have access yet, you can opt into a 30-day free trial before choosing a plan that start at $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year. After your account is all set, click on the title page on Disney+'s official website or the Disney+ app.
As you wait for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse to hit the streamer, why don't you watch the animated version and its sequel Spider-Man: into the Spider-Verse? Or if you want to immerse yourself in another live-action version, click on the 2019 ABC TV special Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Live!. Enjoy!
Where To Watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Online:
As of now, the only way to watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is to head out to a movie theater when it premieres on June 2, 2023. You can find a local showing on Fandango.
Watch Now: Spider-Verse (2023) Movie Online Free
Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait for it to become available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Amazon, Vudu, YouTube or Apple, or become available to stream on Disney+.
Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse coming to Netflix?
Yes, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is coming to Netflix approximately in December 2023.
In 2021, Sony and Netflix signed a five-year deal that gave the latter exclusive first-pay-window U.S. streaming rights for Sony Pictures titles after their theatrical and home entertainment windows. Fans can expect to watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on Netflix six months after the film’s theatrical release, thus in December 2023. The date seems reasonable considering that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse dropped on Netflix on June 26, 2019, six months after its U.S. release on December 14, 2018. The pay-one window usually begins about nine months after a film’s theatrical release, but it might start earlier in particular cases.
This post will be updated once there is a 100% officially confirmed Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Netflix release date.
When Will Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Be Available On Netflix?
Regarding when the film will be available on Netflix, the answer is less definitive. The first film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, began streaming six months after its theatrical release. Based on this, it is safe to assume Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will see a similar gap between its cinematic and streaming releases. Given the film's theatrical release of June 2, 2023, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will likely begin streaming on Netflix in December 2023.
This tracks with some of Sony's bigger releases of 2022. Films like Uncharted and Bullet Train were released on Netflix six and five months respectively after their release in theaters. Of course, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse could have other elements that see it release before or after this tentative six-month period, such as underperforming or exceeding expectations at the box office. Although, based on Sony's track record - including that of the first film - Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse can be expected on Netflix in the winter of 2023, likely December for a holiday release.
Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse coming to Disney Plus?
Yes, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is also coming to Disney Plus approximately in 2025.
Once the pay-one window runs its time and Netflix’s exclusive rights expire, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be available on Disney Plus. The pay-one window might last as long as 18 months, which means it will be a while before Disney Plus subscribers can watch the much-anticipated sequel. Unlike in other countries, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse isn’t yet available on the Disney-owned streamer in the U.S.
American fans will have to wait until 2024 to watch Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and at least until 2025 for its sequel. We will update this post once there is an official Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Disney Plus release date.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse comes from a joint effort of directors Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson. The movie will swing into theaters on June 2, featuring the return of Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy, and Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker, among others.
Will Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Be On HBO Max?
No, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will not be on HBO Max since it’s not a Universal Pictures movie. Last year, the company released its films in theaters and on the streamer on the same day. However, they now allow a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the streaming release.
Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Available On Hulu?
Viewers are saying that they want to view the new animation movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on Hulu. Unfortunately, this is not possible since Hulu currently does not offer any of the free episodes of this series streaming at this time. It will be exclusive to the MTV channel, which you get by subscribing to cable or satellite TV services. You will not be able to watch it on Hulu or any other free streaming service.

2023.06.02 20:00 IcarusPenn 32 [M4F] #Anaheim CA - Childfree Leftist Nerdy Cat-Lover Seeking the Same
Hello reader. I'm 32, 5'8, white, a bit chubby, auburn hair and beard kept most shortish, with dark brown eyes. I'm single, clean, vaxxed, and boosted. I'm funny and nerdy, and occasionally anxious.
I'm looking for someone to share individual experiences with while sometimes doing things together. I'm a homebody and have no siblings, so I tend to focus on activities that can be done single player. That doesn't mean I don't want companionship, though. I'd enjoy having someone to go to museums with, to try new foods, to play different games in the same room with. We can share pictures of our hobbies with one another and remind each other to call for doctor's appointments and do our taxes. We can kiss when the movie we're watching is less interesting than one another. Let's hold hands just because we can.
Ideally, you are: a cat lover, also politically leftist, monogamist, into abstract and avant garde art / entertainment, feminist, independent, child free, nonreligious, sardonic, and always looking to learn.
If you don't match perfectly, that's fine. Send me a message if you're interested, meeting new people fosters growth and memorable living.
Please include a description of yourself or a selfie in your message.
I'm looking forward to your response, reader. Cheers.

2023.06.02 18:57 hopeworld2_0 Said no adamantly to my mom and now I feel guilty
Since I don’t really like to talk about how I’m feeling to anyone, I thought this would be the perfect subreddit to do so.
So, ever since I was young whenever my mom would tell me to do something or go with her somewhere, I would almost always agree for one because I don’t like saying no and making people feel bad, and two, if I didn’t, I’ll either be forced to or guilt tripped. Yet, if one of my siblings deny, it’s totally okay for them.
Today, she wanted to go to a friend’s house and asked me to tag along. I said no, and she kept on asking again and again and I was still adamant about my answer. When it was time, she asked me one last time and I answered the same. She started talking about how her friend came over for me once and congratulated me on my graduation and that I have to go because of that. I still kept giving her the same answer.
She once gave me a lecture about people pleasing and how I shouldn’t always go with what people want so I used that against her and I did mention it but she still went on about how I have to. I also mentioned how when it’s my other siblings, they’re always free to do what they want and she wouldn’t say a thing. When I told her she always forces me to go to places when I don’t want to she was like “when do I ever force you”. Before that answer I was thinking of changing my mind and just going with her, but when she said that I thought nope I’m not doing it
I truly didn’t want to go because I feel mentally drained and exhausted to the point I’m just laying in bed all day and I don’t want to have to socialize against my will.
Now she’s mad at me, and she hasn’t come back yet but I have a feeling she is not gonna talk to me for a while because of this. I truly don’t know how to feel. I feel guilty for the most part for not just going with her instead of potentially ruining a relationship yet I feel like I did the right thing.

The earliest chronology I can recall is them being stuck inside of a house, only for the house to oepn up and reveal to them that they're in a bizarre space filled with many shapes and objects. At one point, they're flying on a cylinder.
I also distinctly remember one episode in which they're in a castle in a white space, and are trying to thwart the plans of a sentient paur of scissors from cutting a thread.
It's been nagging at me for years. Any help appreciated.

2023.06.02 18:49 1993Ovl Moved in after first date, then blindsided breakup
I had some history with this person, most importantly during a break in my previous serious relationship I had two half a day/night sessions with her. She had a bit of feelings but more lust and I rejected her and went on the other relationship 2.5y +
After this I enjoyed? single life for 10 months and I received a message from her that she broke up with her 3y relationship bf. During these 10months I sent like 3 kinda flirty pms to her.
OK basically after our first date we spent 24/24 besides work for four months Im nearing 30 she is middle twenties. I literally lived there and after a while legally. She love bombs me and I love bomb her and we constantly have a great time with sex and just enjoying each other. She shit talks the ex once in a while but does not seem to have him on her mind. She said the most soultouching love bombing shit sometimes. Praising me as I praised her it was all very intense.
One day she says she dreamed of him, next day says she has doubts, day after that breaks up, and like two weeks later she is with the guy.
For 2.5weeks she is with him than dumps him again. Meanwhile breadcrumbing me with very romantic messages wtf.
Than she spents a week with me but holding of the relationship though lots of sex and kissing.
After she says I am too controlling because she wants to hang out with her ex the other guy. Which makes me jealous yea and I act a bit on it..
So she drops me, few days later is back with the ex until so far. Wonder how long it would last for their third time?
When we separated twice I did react irrationally because it is a hard blindside which I couldn't see coming?

2023.06.02 18:47 Mean-Neighborhood422 Enhancing Accessibility and Functionality: Loft Hatches in London
Loft hatches serve as vital access points to the attic space in London, offering homeowners increased convenience and functionality. Whether you're looking to optimize storage or transform your loft into a livable area, selecting the right loft hatch is crucial. This article will delve into the significance of
loft hatches in London, exploring various aspects such as installation, different types, key features, and the benefits they bring. By understanding these factors, you can make an informed decision and maximize the potential of your loft space.
📷
1. The Importance of Loft Hatches:
Loft hatches play a significant role in London homes, providing easy access to the attic space. They enable homeowners to utilize the loft area efficiently for storage or conversion purposes. In a city where space is often limited, a well-designed loft hatch offers an opportunity to expand the usable square footage of a property. Additionally, loft hatches contribute to convenience by allowing easy access for maintenance tasks, such as inspecting wiring or pipes. By investing in a quality loft hatch, London homeowners can enhance the accessibility and functionality of their properties.
2.Types of Loft Hatches:
In London, there are several types of loft hatches available to cater to different needs. The most common options include drop-down loft hatches, push-up loft hatches, and sliding loft hatches. Drop-down hatches feature a hinged door that opens downward, providing a larger access point. Push-up hatches are cost-effective and involve pushing the hatch upward and sliding it aside for entry. Sliding hatches are ideal for spaces with limited ceiling height, as they open horizontally. The choice of the loft hatch type depends on factors such as available space, ceiling height, and personal preferences.
3. Key Features and Considerations:
When selecting a loft hatch, it is important to consider specific features and factors. The size and dimensions of the hatch should allow for easy entry and exit, accommodating the needs of the household. Insulation and draught-proofing are crucial to prevent heat loss and maintain energy efficiency. Look for loft hatches with proper insulation properties and weather sealing to create a thermally efficient barrier between the attic and the rest of the house.
Fire resistance is another essential consideration, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and providing additional protection. Choose a loft hatch with fire-rated materials to enhance safety measures. Convenience features like latches, locks, and counterbalance mechanisms also contribute to easy operation and usage.
4.Benefits of Loft Hatches:
Installing a loft hatch in your London home offers numerous benefits. It provides quick and easy access to the attic space, allowing for convenient storage of items that are not frequently used. This helps to declutter living areas and maximize available space. Moreover, a loft hatch facilitates loft conversions, providing a cost-effective option to extend living spaces and add value to the property. Additionally, an insulated loft hatch contributes to energy efficiency by preventing heat loss and reducing energy consumption. By sealing the attic space, it helps maintain a comfortable indoor temperature and potentially reduces heating bills.
Conclusion: Loft hatches are invaluable additions to London homes, providing accessibility and functionality to the attic space. By selecting the right loft hatch type, considering key features, and focusing on convenience, homeowners can optimize their storage capabilities and create opportunities for loft conversion. Additionally, the energy-efficient properties of loft hatches contribute to a comfortable living environment and potential savings on heating costs. Embrace the potential of your loft space by investing in a quality loft hatch and unlock the benefits it brings to your home in London.

2023.06.02 18:42 Big-Success808 Hi, I oversweat and I dont know why.
The problem with me is whenever I walk or can’t breathe in a tight room, my head starts sweating and water starts to drop from my head after 5-10minutes it is like I washed my hair. This is very unpleasant experience and when I went to doctor, they said I also sweat but I know something isn’t normal with my condition. What doctors should I see and what hormones/organs should I get checked?

2023.06.02 18:11 The_Big_Bad_Writer Weird Toilet Issue
| Greetings, first time poster here, looking for advice concerning an ongoing issue me and my family are having with our toilets, their both under the American Standard Brand(Pic is closest I could find online thats similar), the water connection is fine as far as I can tell, the tank in the back fills up, and it empties when the handle is pushed, but the water just swirls around without any suction whatsoever and refuses to go down. The weird bit is this, and i'm going to avoid using brand names in regard to Rule 1 of this sub and to avoid sounding like a shill or anything, but we were putting in this drain cleaner as a temporary measure for both(Yes, how evil of us, harhar, money is tight in our house at the moment, and we can't afford an actual plumber, much less a replacement toilet or anything, so give me a break), anyway, we'd leave it in there for the night like the instructions said, and it actually lets the toilet flush, once or twice maybe at most, and then its back to not flushing(We've tried flushing it without any of the stuff we're using on multiple occasions, and it fails to actually flush every time except when we put more of this stuff in it)I'm reduced to having to manually plunge it to get it to go down, or physically remove the toilet water with a container if I feel it might overflow, the latter is gross for me, and the ongoing toilet problem is causing no end of anger and irritation from my father, since this is also affecting his upstairs toilet as well.Any advice or help on this matter would be greatly appreciated, i'll try to answer any questions that i can if it helps, sorry for any delays in responding (Edit): Image failed to load for some reason, trying to upload it again. https://preview.redd.it/nw9gfmqcqm3b1.jpg?width=673&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cf99b73a61f0dfab35a4fd41e63accbcca6fab6a submitted by The_Big_Bad_Writer to Plumbing [link] [comments] |
2023.06.02 17:27 nonsplodge Local Gvt Restructure- Secondment + Substantive Post Issue
Hi; long time lurker 1st time poster so if I don’t explain this clearly I apologise in advance
I work for a local authority (City Council)
edit in ENGLAND and have done since 2016. I was in an IT role from 2019. But in 2021 I was given a secondment opportunity which I took. As such, my substantive post in IT was always mine to return to if or when my secondment role ended.
However earlier this year a restructure (“Achieving Change”) process was initiated to make savings in the department. The policy for people on secondment was that EITHER l:
- I relinquish my substantive post (IT Role) in order to continue in my seconded role
- I can return from secondment (Data Analyst) to my substantive post whereby the pool of staff I was in would have seen a headcount reduction of 1.
Whatever else was going on for me, this uncertainty and degree of stress really got to me. I needed time off from work with anxiety and stress to help clear my mind and give me some space to make a decision. I won’t go into the myriad pros and cons I had for either but I’m a parent and a partner with a mortgage and had to decide between potentially a shorter-term (but better paid and enjoyable) role as a data analyst or return to IT where I could have ended up on redeployment or redundant - but if I did keep my IT job would have a permanent role again.
On balance, even though my data analyst role was a secondment, I had settled into that job really well and enjoyed it greatly and had 2 years experience in the job. As such, I decided to relinquish my substantive post in IT and continue in my seconded role which my line manager negotiated would be on a fixed-term basis BUT for 2 years. A decent resolution to what was a tough few weeks for me as I weighed up what I needed to do.
But - I’ve now been informed by a former colleague I.e. nobody has told me directly, that the restructure for my former IT role has now been descoped meaning it would have been/will be unaffected. And so I’ve given up my substantive post and job security in a role that is now not being changed. Like, I’ve already relinquished it in line with the changes that were meant to happen.
I’m furious. Should I be? Am I blowing this out of proportion? What can I do?
Any help, positive or negative (relatively) is welcome
Thanks 🙏🏻

2023.06.02 17:24 disciplesglobal MARTYRS AND OVERCOMERS
Two themes that are repeated in
Revelation are closely related - “
witness” and “
overcoming.” Beginning with Jesus of Nazareth and his own martyrdom on Calvary, his followers are summoned to persevere in his “
testimony,” and in this way, they “
overcome” and they will emerge victorious in the city of “
New Jerusalem.” They must “
overcome, even as I overcame.”
Jesus is presented to the “
seven churches of Asia” as the “
FAITHFUL WITNESS, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.”
By “
faithful witness” is meant the “
testimony” he gave in his sacrificial death. His shed blood “
freed us from our sins and made a kingdom, priests for his God.” And now, he is the “
first and the last” who possesses authority even over “
death and Hades.” As he declared to John - “
I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore” – (Revelation 1:5, 1:18).
The Greek term rendered “
witness” in English is ‘
martur,’ the term from which the English noun ‘martyr’ is derived. In secular Greek, it is used for a “
witness,” especially one who gives testimony in a legal proceeding.
TESTIMONY OF JESUS
By the first century, the term may not have assumed the full sense of “martyr,” but as applied in
Revelation, it certainly approaches it. The “
saints” who give “
testimony” for Jesus pay the consequences for doing so (
Strong’s - #
G3144).
Similarly, John is introduced as one who “
bore WITNESS of the word of God and of the TESTIMONY of Jesus.” And so, he found himself banished to Patmos “
on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.”
And here, the term “word of God” is synonymous with the “testimony of Jesus.” And it is not just any testimony, but the “testimony” about Jesus that placed the Apostle in personal jeopardy.
The English term “
testimony” translates the Greek noun ‘
martyria,’ meaning “testimony, witness.” It is closely related to the term ‘
martur’ and refers to the “
testimony” given by a “
witness.”
While John may not have given his life for his “
testimony,” he certainly paid a heavy price by losing his freedom and legal rights. But he was by no means the first or the last disciple of Jesus to do so.
Previously, in the city of Pergamos, the saint named Antipas was “
killed among you, where Satan dwells.” In his letter to the congregation, Jesus calls him “
my FAITHFUL WITNESS [
martyr],” the same term applied to Jesus in the book’s prologue – (Revelation 2:13).
When the fifth seal is opened, John sees the souls of saints who were “
slain for the word of God, and for the TESTIMONY [martyria] which they held,” just as he was exiled because of his “
witness” for the “
word of God” and the “
testimony of Jesus” – (Revelation 6:9-11).
In Chapter 12, having failed to destroy the “
woman clothed with the sun” or her “
son,” the enraged “
Dragon” set out to “
wage war with the rest of her seed, those that keep the commandments of God and have the TESTIMONY of Jesus.”
Once again, saints are killed for the “
testimony of Jesus.” And Satan is not alone in his vendetta. Later, the “
great harlot, Babylon” is seen “
drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the WITNESSES [
martyrs]
of Jesus.” – (Revelation 12:17, 17:6).
At the commencement of the “
thousand years,” judgment is made on behalf of the saints who were “
beheaded for the TESTIMONY of Jesus and the word of God, and have not worshipped the Beast.”
Once more, the “
word of God” and the “
testimony of Jesus” are paired. That the “
witnesses” are killed is beyond doubt, as is the reason for it. But now, added to the list is their refusal to render homage to the “
Beast from the sea” - (Revelation 20:4).
OVERCOME
Not only is Jesus the “
faithful witness,” he is the first one who “
overcame.” In Chapter 5, John weeps bitterly because no one is found who is “
worthy” to open the “
scroll sealed with seven seals.” That is until he
hears one of the “
twenty-four elders” command him to “
weep not, for the lion of the tribe of Judah has OVERCOME to open the scroll.”
When he looks, instead of the “
lion” he sees the “
Lamb as having been slain.” That is, Jesus “
overcame” and qualified to open the “
sealed scroll” through his sacrificial death – (Revelation 5:5-6).
At the end of each of the seven letters in chapters 2 and 3, the reader finds promises made to the “
one who OVERCOMES.” That saint will “
eat of the tree of life in the Paradise of God,” not be harmed by the “
second death,” eat of the “
hidden manna,” receive authority over the nations, not have his name “
blotted out of the book of life,” become a “
pillar” in the sanctuary in “
New Jerusalem,” and sit with Jesus on “
my Father’s throne.”
The churches of Asia “
overcome” by rejecting the deceptions of the “
false apostles,” the “
Nicolaitans,” the “
teachings of Balaam,” and “
Jezebel, who taught my servants to eat meat offered to idols.”
“Overcoming” believers persevere through tribulations, bear faithful “witness,” and refuse to compromise with the surrounding pagan society even if doing so means their impoverishment and death.
Most critically, the saints “
overcome” by refusing to render homage to the “
Beast” or its image, and by not taking its “
mark” or “
number” even though the “
False Prophet” causes those who refuse to do so to be put to death - (Revelation 15:2).
Likewise, at the start of the “
thousand years,” “
judgment is given” on behalf of the saints because they suffer martyrdom for their “
testimony,” and because they refuse the “
mark of the Beast.”
Finally, after the “
Dragon” is expelled from heaven, a voice declares that the “
brethren overcame” him by the “
blood of the Lamb, by the WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY, and because they loved not their lives unto death” - (Revelation 12:11).
FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH
Thus, giving “
faithful testimony” and “
overcoming” Satan are two sides of the same coin. Put another way, bearing faithful “
witness” is
how the persevering saint “
overcomes” the “
Dragon.”
This does not mean every saint must die a martyr’s death. While John suffered banishment for the “
testimony of Jesus,” he was not executed, at least, not in the account recorded in the book.
And in the province of Asia, some believers suffered “imprisonment,” and others were accused falsely by members of the “
synagogue of Satan.” Not every member of each congregation experienced martyrdom. Regardless, Jesus exhorted the churches to be “
faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
The last clause provides the key for how believers “
overcome” – “
FAITHFULNESS UNTO DEATH.” Likewise, the brethren “
overcome” the “
Dragon” because they do not “
love their lives unto death.” It is that level of allegiance to Jesus that separates “
overcomers” from those who “
eat meat offered to idols.”
Thus, to “
overcome” the saint must persevere in his or her “
witness” for Jesus even in times of persecution and whatever the personal consequences of giving his or her testimony might be.

2023.06.02 17:17 JollyMcStink My coworker is really getting on my last nerve....
She's worked here about 2 years. I've really tried to give her the benefit of the doubt as long as possible, as I was convinced nobody could seriously be that incompetent and self promoting.
But lately it's just been getting worse...
So backstory: she always does the bare minimum and complains about her workload. But every time you go in to check about something she is just on her phone or taking selfies.
She is basically illiterate, her emails are completely unprofessional, lacking proper punctuation and capitalization. She doesn't even capitalize her own name. A sample (although I've seen worse than my example multiple times!):
"hi this is -name- Thank You for contacting me i am happy to help here please confirm receipt of this i am your Point Of Contact monitor your email tho we will send updates and have a Great Day ok!"
She wears club dresses to work with leggings underneath (both are against dress code) and bold logos (which is also against our dress code) and then criticizes my business attire, literally every day she makes snide comments about my clothes. I don't wear anything super form fitting or which could be considered inappropriate. Literally dresses to my knees, business jackets etc. We are supposed to wear business attire, we work in an office, I feel like if one of us was dressing questionably, it's definitely not me. I am complimented on a regular basis for my outfits being classy and nice. I just don't understand why she's so obsessed with putting down my clothes. I never said anything to her but the more she makes these remarks the harder it gets to bite my tongue. Just because she's always doing the most and delivering the least, doesn't make everyone else the problem.
Like - If it's always everyone else, then maybe it's just you!
She gets written up once a week but literally nobody wants to do her job so the most that's come of it is sending her home with no pay for the rest of the day.
Also, our PTO is accrued based on length of employment. She makes excuses to leave early on a regular basis and takes a day off, paid or unpaid, with no notice - even though she also constantly complains about not having money and being overworked. Then complains when I take a day off with months notice.... I've worked here over 5 years so sorry I get more PTO and I don't waste it calling off, I plan ahead to take my time.
I literally just took my first 2 days off since Christmas. She seriously complained how I shouldn't get to take so much time off bc its not her job to cover! As if she doesn't leave early all the time and call out of work on a regular basis.....
She completed on her tax forms that she was "tax exempt"... You know, the forms everyone fills out when they start a new job working for a company (as opposed to a 1099)? Everyone advised her against it and let her know if she really isnt tax exempt its going to bite her in the end.
She is now blaming the company that no taxes were taken out and trying to say they should pay her 12k in back taxes.... even when I went over how to do the form with her, as she had questions, she says "but I want all my money now, why would I have any taken put of my check?" I explained how taxes work, and as she's 33 you'd think she would have worked someplace where she saw the deductions out. She just argued with me that she shouldn't have to pay taxes.... and apparently still put that she was exempt as a result.... like, nobody wants to pay, but if you don't pay then yes, be prepared bc they're just going to take it out of your pay later down the road.... Idk how her brain works and it drives me crazy! You can't explain logic to the illogical, I suppose.
Now she's bought a 2011 Mercedes base model and walks around mentioning 30x a day how she "drives a Mercedes" and how her "car and clothes are the best in the office". For reference, my coworker and myself both have brand new fully loaded Subarus so idk how she figures a 12 year old base model luxury car is worth talking shit to us about our wise purchases/ decisions based on reliability, over petty bragging rights, but here we are. Just blatant disrespect and self promotion at the expense of others on a daily basis.
My boss calls her out but this coworker says that she is singled out because "she is black". Even though it's consistent patterns of not using email templates provided/ instead sending responses riddled with spelling and grammatical errors. Talking shit about everyone else in the office. Spending her day on her phone and taking selfies.
We regularly have to stay to fix her mistakes. This has nothing to do with her appearance it has to do with her lack of ability to do her job without making everything about how wonderful her half-ass efforts are and how everyone else is constantly jealous of her....
I just keep my mouth shut bc tbh, idk who would be jealous of someone who is so conceited yet so incompetent. She posts overly edited pics online too and when people call her out for photoshopping she also calls them haters and jealous.
Just toxic af. And I'm really starting to lose my patience. She even lies to get out of her job (she refused to take a payment earlier bc "the system is down" - its not - and she was on her phone, big surprise. Instead she gave my other coworker a note that "person called to make payment call them back to take the payment")
She just got scolded again after showing our boss her refusal to take the payment, but I just am beside myself. I've never worked with someone so full of themselves with such little reason to be!
Just needed to vent. Feel free to comment if any of you have had similar experiences, would love to commiserate a little lol. Either way if you made it this far, thanks for reading!

2023.06.02 17:07 TotalyNotMyAltAcc upgrading to 8 inch studs for laundry jet
Were renovating soon, and part of our biggest project is installing a laundry jet from the two upstairs bathrooms to the basement laundry room. this requires us to build a chase or upgrade a wall to 8 in to fit the pipes in.
can I just double up on the existing 2x4 or should I completely replace with 8 inch studs?
another question, what should I be worried about when piping across/through floor joists with a 6 inch pipe?

2023.06.02 16:55 Effective-Eagle435 I’m sorry i just really need to empty my cup onto a page...
I grew up in a very neglectful, emotionally and sometimes physically abuse household. My father was an egotistical maniac. He still thinks if he died the world would mourn him for days.
Life at school wasnt easy either. I have a permanent physical disability. That and the fact that i was an immigrant didn’t make me very popular. Add to that the fact that i wasnt allowed to shower and wash my clothes often, you get the point. I left home at 15 (2 years after we immigrated). Long story short, i ran before i could walk (like many of us, im sure).
On my own, i quit HS twice to work and save money. I got into an amazing university inspired of that, finished with honours, i travelled to 16 countries, got a good career in NGOs, and work to advocate for disability.
But increasingly everything seems like it’s covered in shit. My personal life is falling apart, and so is my mind.
In my job, I fight for accessibility: but my company is led by a money-hungry, unempathic bunch of aholes who fire people en masse because of profits, don’t give raises or bonuses, and abuse us at every turn. I talk to people in other similar companies and they aren’t faring any better either. And my job history has taught me that things aren’t much better anywhere else.
My partner and i love each other so much. We are always kind to each other and never fight: but he is incredibly depressed, has given up on life, doesn’t have a job and is constantly looking but can’t seem to get past most final interviews, which defeats him further. He’s been unemployed for about 6 months and i see how hard he’s trying, but at the same time he has just given up and I’m tired, too.
My health is degrading and living in Ontario i cant even get in to see a dr. My family doctor tried to refer me to a physiatrist and he wouldnt even accept me. (Believe me when i say i need it! Most people with my disability can’t even walk. I walk with an assistive device).
Anyway, enough complaining. I wrote all this just to say that when i was in HS struggling and working hard and fighting hard, i did all this because i thought the struggle would eventually ease up. Everyone kept telling me how “strong” i was. Not to sound dramatic but now i just want it all to stop. I’m so tired. I just need a rest and i no longer see the point of all this. I go to therapy regularly, but none of that is helping in the bigger picture.
I’m sorry, i don’t know why i wrote all this but i just needed to get it out there. It was crushing me today.

2023.06.02 15:42 WhyTheMongoose Stuck Follower?
Hello all!
I am on PC playing Special Edition.
Today I tried playing Skyrim, my long-time favourite follower Cicero has stopped walking/following me at all. I can tell him to go back to the sanctuary, he'll stay glued to his spot, I'll tell him to follow me, he won't walk, I can disable then reenable via console commands, I've teleported him, bumped into him, Fus roh dah'd him, fast travelled, walked far away with him still 'following' and he won't follow.
For some reason he's also constantly saying "Aha! Found you!" like when he finds an enemy but he won't be in an attack pose and he'll still *talk*.
The only time Cicero will walk is if I tell him to do something, but he won't actually do anything. If I tell him to kill someone/something he'll tell me it's impossible.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm genuinely heartbroken by this
Edit #1:
(copied from my message to Shadowrent);
It also doesn't seem to be save specific since i was just trying out a different save file and he still won't walk.
He did walk a bit when I was in combat to attack the enemies, but after the enemies were killed he stopped walking. It does however, seem to be weirdly Cicero specific. I tried getting Lydia to follow me, and first she went back to bed, she didn't follow me in Breezehome, but she follows me while outside. Cicero meanwhile is just standing in the streets of Whiterun now.

2023.06.02 15:41 codedisciplle Becoming a web developer is just one big scam exploiting the hopes of people wanting to better their lives a little
Left my job and relied on my savings to study on my own for close to 2 years now, done a bootcamp, and still don't have anything to show for it.
Yes, I have a portfolio, several projects, passed coding bootcamp with 94% score out of 100%, had two interviews and still lost out to candidates who had 'more experience'.
It is absolute BS and not worth it - had I known what I know now, I never would have went down this piece of shit of a route. I would have learned to code and do Front End stuff still, yes, because there are my own things I want to build, but I wouldn't bother finding work, just do it on the side.
It's dogshit - how can you get more experience when nobody is hiring people with no experience?
With that said, I've invested too much of my money, health and time to go back, so I will finish up studying WordPress and see if I can land a contract or two, which is also near damn impossible.
Do it on the side, if you want, but don't have your hopes up.
And lastly, I am not lazy, nor new to technology - I worked in IT before and have a solid background, so there's that (I also still get rejected from stupid fucking 1st line helpdesk roles). I also live in one of the most condensed cities in the world, where one should be able to find something... nothing :)
This is my honest experience, no lies whatsoever. Yes, I am fucking salty because I tried so very fucking hard for so long, only to realise it is a scam developed by marketing media and YouTube, fishing on the hopes of those that want to better their lives a little.
Edit: also, you need really good fucking design skills too, otherwise you'll never be able to sell yourself. Sadly, I know nothing about design per se, I'm shit at drawing and won't mention digital drawing to create banners, pictures, icons, etc needed to make for your own portfolio website.
All this is just one big fucking sham. Nothing else. Had 2 interviews, been told I'd be a great company fit for both, but lost out due to lack of experience... for a junior position, out of around 80 job applications I have sent.
I done projects with HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, React, TypeScript, APIs.... done a lot.
But it is all meaningless, its only real value is to yourself.

2023.06.02 15:26 Ok_Waltz_6623 Has anyone tried to make a physical personal assistant interface for chatgpt?
I'm interested in trying to hook chatgpt up to some kind of physical interface so it feels like more of an assistant. I was thinking of trying to make a mini hologram, soft robot (like baymax), or at the very least a 3D printed animal or something. I also want to see if I can make the mouth move based on speech, will have to look into amplitude analysis for that. The idea is that I'd be able to speak to it, so I'm assuming I'd have to make it voice to text when I talk and then text to voice when it talks back. Would appreciate any thoughts or feedback if anyone has done this before.
