So this happened about 2 years ago but I just can't seem to let it go, so now I'm finally going to make a post of my own to this subreddit lol
My family has a tradition that for our birthdays we'll usually be able to choose a restaurant we want to go to, and the one I chose would give you fries in these little metal basket things. They kind of looked like what you use to deepfry things if that helps to explain what they look like.
I was there with my family and my partner, but for this specific story the only relevant people are my mom and sister. A relevant part of this story is that the way the table was set up is that on two sides was benches and then chairs on the other sides, I was sitting in one of these chairs. I had a bag on me, but since I was sitting near the walkway and didn't want to put my bag on the ground or have it get knocked off the chair I asked the two of them (who were sitting on one of the benches) to hold it for me.
Things were going fine for a while, but then at one point I noticed they were laughing and acting a little weird, but I didn't think anything of it at that moment. The server took our dishes, we paid and were getting up to leave, everything seemed fine.
Until I get my bag back.
Now this is not a large bag, it only had the basics like my wallet phone and keys. It felt heavier, and was weirdly shaped. So of course, when we're outside I open it and see the fucking basket.
They used my bag, at my birthday dinner, to steal from my favorite restaurant.
Beleive me when I said I absolutely lost it on them, but neither of them seemed to get what the problem was! They just continued to laugh, and tell me that it's fine, and not a big deal. She still keeps that stupid basket hanging up in her kitchen and it's just a reminder that I can never trust her, ever again. She completely lost my respect that day.
TL;DR: Mother and sister used my bag to help them steal a basket from my favorite place during my birthday dinner.

We’ve been experiencing low water pressure in our area 77035. S post oak and 90 to be exact. Apartment office says it’s the city’s problem. I’m not so sure. Anyone near me having the same issue?

Two years ago I went out to the clubs near my house like I usually did almost every weekend (I was 22). I remember I was on my second or third drink of the night and my friends and I had only been there about an hour or so. All of a sudden i blacked out and have no memory of what happened the rest of the night/morning
I came back to reality when I was walking out of someone’s car and into my apartment complex, it was daylight out. I was out of it and didn’t really look to see who’s car I got out of, I don’t think I said bye to them. I was super dizzy and stumbled in my apartment and plugged in my phone and it was 6 in the morning.
Where I live, the bars close at 3am at the latest. I had no memories from 12am-6am
I was so confused as to how I got to my apartment, what I did, who dropped me off. When my phone turned on I had a bunch of texts from my friends asking where I was from 12am-4am, and missed calls from them.
I called the two friends who were supposed to sleep over my house after the bars and they said they came to my house after the clubs thinking I just went home but they were banging on my window and door with no answer. I contacted all the bouncers that knew me and they hadn’t seen me all night.
I have such a terrible feeling something bad happened to me all of the time. I have aphantasia so I can’t get flashbacks of any memory, but there definitely is a feeling in my gut. My boyfriend has told me I have said “I won’t tell anyone please stop” and other really weird things in my sleep. (I wasn’t dating him when it happened and I haven’t told him or anyone) I felt so sick at the time I didn’t even think to go to a hospital, I just sat in bed for two days.
For some reason in my head I thought I had just blacked out from drinking but I’ve never lost memory like that
Has anyone been through something similar? And is there a way to get my memory back?

Say you have to wait 2-3 hours for one drink to breastfeed. Is that 2-3 hours after finishing a drink or starting a drink? Finishing right?
For those who drink maybe 4-6 tall ones when you do drink, do you wait the actual 8-12 hours or have you admittedly not? I’m no where near ready to drink again but if I do my pre baby self would never have just one beer so I’m nervous. Might as well avoid it all together yeah?

Not enough studies on this. So do y’all smoke and breastfeed like nothing? My ex best friend did 24/7 and her baby seemed fine but I obviously don’t want to follow her foot steps bc that’s wrong but it makes me wonder when is an appropriate time to breastfeed after smoking if ever… google says thc doesn’t leave the body for 6-12 days but surely no one is waiting that long to breastfeed again or else you might as well give up smoking or breastfeeding ? I was thinking maybe if you smoked at night then went to sleep you would be ok to breastfeed in the morning ?
Any thoughts or advice/experience on this is appreciated. I haven’t done either and don’t plan to but it might come up one day now that the weather is getting warmer and we’re going to be more social now that our baby is vaccinated so I’d like to be prepared on how to approach it

I have been battling some trauma from a self harm episode i had a few months back. I cut myself deep in two long strains hoping to flirt with death. but i was stopped by a roommmate and didn’t need to go to the hospital or get stitches. so i guess, ultimately not even nearly deep enough. I then drove speeding three hours home from college while a little tipsy and still bleeding.
Was it a suicide attempt or just an episode? I self harm quite frequently so it didn’t seem that different for me.

**I'm going to preface this by saying that I AM NOT DEBATING ABORTION OR MY DECISION WITH ANYONE. IF YOU ARE PRO-LIFE THIS IS NOT THE POST FOR YOU. please do not waste your time commenting.**
I just found out that I (32F) am 4 weeks pregnant. I am not in a position to keep the baby & have already scheduled an appointment to receive plan C. I have to do this out of state because I live in TX & am in the process of making travel arrangements. I've told a trusted family member & they will be making the trip with me. Here is my dilemma: I don't know if I should tell the father of the unborn child who I'm super close with.
Backstory-
The father of the unborn child is someone I have known for 17 years. (We will call him "Z"). Z was my high school sweetheart (took my virginity) & we dated on & off throughout college. The relationship was very special but it was clear that we both had growing to do & needed to "get out there" since we had spent so many of our "younger years" together. I tried to hang onto the relationship well past its expiration date but ultimately broke things off. It was obvious that we needed to go our separate ways but of course, like clockwork, when I pulled away, he tried everything he could to stop it. I left anyways & he claims he was heartbroken.
After we split, I pretty quickly ended up in a serious relationship with someone that I was sure I was going to spend my life with. (We will call this person E). At this point, I cut all communication with Z. Z stayed single for several years but eventually entered into a serious relationship as well. E & I had 2 children together & begun building our life together. Unfortunately, our relationship did not work out & we decided to separate in 2020. Our children were 5 & 3 at the time. It has been a hard transition for them but we have re-established new normals & make sure they know that this has nothing to do with them & they are still incredibly loved by both parents. I have spent the past 3 years focusing only on my kids & re-building my career after being a stay at home mom for many years (prior to separating from E). I had essentially been in a relationship for the past 15 years & am now at a point in my life where I want to remain single for a long time. I feel like I owe it to myself & my children to place all of my focus into our future. I'm an extremely involved mom & my kids are literally my entire life. We are finally in a very healthy place & have established a great sense of community in our town.
After my separation, Z & I reconnected. Ironically, his relationship ended around the same time as mine. Over the past 3 years, we have hung out several times, hooked up casually, gone to concerts, talk pretty regularly, etc. It has been really fun reconnecting & getting to know each other again after so many years apart & it is obvious that there is still a spark. HOWEVER, I have made it clear that I am not looking for a serious relationship for the foreseeable future. I am happy being friends & seeing each other when I happen to have free time, but I do not go out of my way to make it happen & he knows where my priorities lie. Likewise, I have told him that I do NOT want to hold him back from dating/exploring other relationships & he is welcome to do so without it effecting our friendship. He has said that he has never stopped loving me & would like to be in a committed relationship, but respects that that is not something I'm looking for. He says he is happy to be in my life in any form or fashion.
I saw Z at the end of February & we ended up sleeping together. Prior to this, I hadn't seen him since August. Fast forward to today, I find out I'm pregnant. I'm honestly shocked. This is my 3rd pregnancy ever & will be my first abortion. I am at peace with my decision & am now just dealing with the logistics. Enter the dilemma: I think that Z would be devastated to know that I'm getting an abortion. I think he would wonder why I kept my 2 children with E, but am deciding not to keep his. He's super emotional & sensitive & deeply internalizes things. He has struggled with self-worth & depression. Since reconnecting, he has said there have been so many signs as to why he thinks we are meant to be together, that eventually we will end up together, etc., but doesn't make me feel pressured to be in a relationship. He knows I am committed to my goals & my kids & respects that. I think that this will potentially ruin our friendship. I agree that our bond is special, but I am simply NOT in a position to have this baby at all. I really, really wish that I could talk thru this with Z because I could use the support. But I am so worried that it will destroy our relationship & would internally shatter him. He has never gotten anyone pregnant before & I know he wants to be a dad. I have made my decision & am committed to it. I am telling NO ONE except for my trusted family member who is going with me to the appointment. I guess I'm just looking for advice/support on whether or not I should tell Z. Tell him & have it potentially ruin our relationship forever? Or keep it to myself & just handle it? There is no swaying my decision so I'm thinking it's best to just keep it to myself. But I really wish I could go to him without fear of his response. Hi. I run a lil history YT channel. Ever since I published my vid on the Roman empire, I've tried streaming "Shadow of Rome'' on Twitch, pointing out all of it's historical inaccuracies. But I'm hating certain sections. My next vid will be on the Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth, so I'm considering dropping Shadow of Rome for Hellish Quart. My vid should be dropping on April 2-5 (just looking for someone to read a certain line). I know what you’re thinking: *eyeroll* yet another post by yet another hopeless fanboy of a fringe unit that nobody uses, hoping to get some attention for their waifu. I can neither confirm nor deny these claims (although I am a little disappointed in you).
What I’m here to do is to give a reasonably objective overview of a unit for people who have her but haven’t built her, who are curious about what she can do pre- her Arma Inscripta, and let them decide if she is worth building compared to other units on their roster in the near future.

Role

Prior to her Arma Inscripta, Chanzhi fills two roles:

• AOE damage dealer (vs Hubble)
• Backline eliminator (vs Hatsuchiri)

As an AOE sniper,

Chanzhi is an admittedly janky damage dealer. When built terribly and/or used poorly, she tickles her opponents’ armpits, sometimes one at a time. When built well and positioned well, she sweeps the entire map clean like a dependable maid does to a dirty room on a bright and sunny day.
As a beginner player, if you’ve used both Hubble (also an AOE sniper) and Chanzhi at the same time while they were both underinvested, you’d notice Hubble perform noticeably better. Hubble has a predictable radius explosion as her skill, while Chanzhi has a shotgun-style AOE that can do extremely poorly when positioned badly. Hubble also requires no crits to perform well and her auto skill has some really nice multipliers; so long as you invest into her levels and skills, she wipes the floor with enemies early game.
However, this all changes once crit values come into play. You see, Chanzhi is to Hubble what Betty is to Hatsuchiri (stick with me here, Chanzhi-havers, I know Chanzhi deserves more credit). Betty does Normal Attacks and performs absolutely asininely (da-nya!) without any crit values; Hatsuchiri wipes the floor with enemies in comparison. However, Betty with crit values starts becoming more of a force to be reckoned with, and with functions kicks Hatsuchiri to the wayside.
How does Chanzhi measure up? Well, fear not, because in the right situation, even without functions Chanzhi with decent crit values will wipe Hubble out (she starts getting good at CR40-CD80). With functions? Don’t bother asking, you already know the answer by now.

As a backline eliminator,

Chanzhi is also admittedly somewhat janky if played poorly.
I’ll start by describing what Hatsuchiri can do: you literally can place her anywhere on the map and there’s a high chance she will teleport to a squishy in the backline (and doing a number on them). Except sometimes the backline contains a more high-value target on the bottom-right corner of the map, so you then place Hatsuchiri at the top so she can teleport to the opposite bottom side. Welcome to the basics of map awareness.
With Chanzhi in a backline elimination role, you’re required to exercise map awareness at all times. Chanzhi tickles tanky enemies silly, we’ve established that; however, Chanzhi deletes squishy enemies. Problem is, Chanzhi has the standard sniper range (4 tiles?). How are we ever going to get Chanzhi to reach those pesky snipers in the back? Well I’m glad you asked.
Chanzhi’s auto skill splits her normal attacks into shotgun-style shots that pierce through enemies and travels all the way to the other side of the map. See what I’m getting at here? As long as you place a tanky enemy in between Chanzhi and her intended target at all times, Chanzhi’s skill will target the tanky enemy and pierce all of her shots to the squishy enemy in the backline. And because she has a shotgun-style AOE that deals the same amount of damage wherever it hits, you can kill multiple enemies simultaneously in the back and you won’t have to worry about missing, so long as your tanky enemy doesn’t die.

In conclusion,

Chanzhi is what you may call, in the gaming circle, an “intermediate-level” doll (as opposed to “novice-level”). She absolutely destroys everything and wipes enemies out, but people using her must have intermediate-level knowledge of game mechanics to use her well.

Build

So, now that I’ve appealed to the competitive gamer inside of you, you’re probably wondering to yourself, “how can I build my own Chanzhi so that I can prove u/illicitcone243 wrong and that I am in fact an expert-level gamer?” Well, I’m very, very glad you asked!
Chanzhi, in her pre-Arma role, needs the following algorithm sets:

• MLR Matrix: ATK% mainstat
• Encapsulate/Resolve: HP(flat) mainstat
• Cluster: 1 CritRate, 1 CritDamage

You’ll notice that my recommendations are slightly different from iana’s spreadsheet recommendations, and here is why:

MLR Matrix

This is highly superior to Limit Value pre-Sockdolager. The reason why you have Limit Value on Chanzhi post-Sock is because Sock has a high chance of stealing Chanzhi’s kills (read in a grumpy-Chanzhi voice).
This isn’t to say that Chanzhi is dependent on Sock to perform well. On the contrary, Sock makes Chanzhi busted, and she gits gud even in Single Target scenarios (read up on her skill description to understand what I’m talking about). If you’ve ever played Genshin Impact, think of the Sock-Chanzhi relationship as similar to Shenhe-Ayaka (except Sock can hold her own too, and Sock’s “buffs” count as her own damage).

Cluster

Why not Paradigm? Again this is because of Sockdolager. Paradigm allows Chanzhi to utilize Sockdolager’s buffs more, which is good.
Without Sockdolager, Chanzhi benefits much more from the added multiplicative stats. Think Betty except she is attacking every unit on the map simultaneously. Yeah (da-nya).

Final Thoughts

Yes, I may be a VIP member of the Chanzhi fan club. I don’t deny this fact. However, this doesn’t mean I am trying to convert unsuspecting noobies to the Religion of the Embroidery Maker.
I want the facts to speak for themselves. And here I’ve laid down the facts as objectively as humanly possible (da-nya).
Should you build Chanzhi? That’s ultimately up to you. But be warned: you are missing out on some sweet, satisfying multi-wave-clearing goodness that will remain unparalleled until Mica decides to powercreep every single gen 1 character into oblivion.

My plan is boring, just show up Friday, have a few beers and walk the strip (I’m not into gambling) then go to sleep early, wake up early, eat breakfast, then get to the festival grounds at 9am (in case there’s a long line to get in, i want to be sure that I’ll be inside and ready to watch the first band play at 11am). So each mini on the model is supposed to be representative of each Saint from each Ordo. So I thought it’d be a interesting idea to paint each character in their respective Ordo color scheme instead of just one color scheme. The only thing really holding me back is the thought that the colors might clash and not look nearly as good as staying to one color scheme. What do you guys think?

Rush Duels is nearing it's 3rd anniversary so I feel like now would be a good time to look back at Rush Duels as a format say some things I like about the format

• I love how Konami has been making efforts to improve Fusions and Maximums. Maximums especially with Konami making the individual pieces be able to do things outside of Maximum mode and reward you for having it in Maximum mode. Fusions is also pretty cool to see play in the meta with Skysaviors being one of the best decks in the format right now.
• I always liked how when printing cards from the anime, the real life version one-to-one with the anime counterpart more often. It always kinda bugged me in the Gallop seasons seeing a card in real life do something slightly different from it's anime counterpart
• Over Rush Rares is such a cool rarity. Monsters like Sevens Road Magician and Mirror Innovator have such banger Over Rush Rares and are very cool to look at
• I like the concept of bringing archetypes from the TCG/OCG into Rush and giving them exclusive support for the format. I like seeing these new takes on older monsters and see how they would do in a different format. I'm glad Cyber Dragon started this and I'm interested in seeing the Harpie stuff coming soon
• The back and forth as a core philosophy is genius. We all love our good games with constant back and forth tempo and Rush highlighting this via its drawing mechanic and focusing on milling and recycling cards is brilliant.

Overall, Rush is a pretty solid format with plenty to offer and it's a shame we aren't getting a physical port of the format anytime soon, if at all.

The USASF had launched their first and only squad of long range fighters. They'd never intended to make such, intending on having carriers. But the Constitution was still being built. The nuclear reactors weren't due till February at least.
But, the UN demanded they try something. So they stocked up a short range Vulture fighter, and added a long range booster. It would be six months of hell, stuck in such a small space, but experts assured with the new XVR simulation helmets, being cooped up wouldn't be an issue.
As Shrike squadron settled in, their alarms started blaring. Snapping to and looking, they saw several blips moving fast on their screens. "Heads up, I got twelve bogies, designate targets Alpha 1 through 12. This is a top secret mission, any witnesses are to be eliminated. Weapons free." He snapped, and started trying to get a target lock.
"Ummm, Midnight? This some kind of joke?" Vulture 3 said, puzzled and trying to make sense of what he was seeing. A formation of the strangest ships were seen. Two large vessels, looking like a nightmare spider in space, looked about to leap from behind the squadron of wicked looking fighters shooting in at insane speeds.
Over their radios, they heard static, then hard pulsing metal music start blaring. "Hammerheads, the water's have been chummed, it's feeding time!" and at that, long red beams licked out and started reaching for the UN fighters trying to sneak off.
"Vulture lead, that beam did no damage, but it slammed my ship sideways and almost knocked me out." They were all able to hear one another, the music was only making it hard to hear."
With that, he tried to get one of the darting ships in his crosshairs. The batlike fighter darted like a fish, swirling out of range. Meanwhile, he saw the large death spiders launch another wave of fighters. This time there was no mistaking these, the hulls had no other comparison, TIE Advanced fighters boiling out.
He realized there was no way in hell his squad of 20 fighters were going to hold up, watching these fighters launch, going at accelerations that should have killed the pilot.
"Vulture squad, return to base, we lost this one." he groused, and turned his tailpipes to the enemy and hit the thrust to full to escape. The enemy squads flew along, seeming to tease them, but stopped firing. Once the aerospace fighters started hitting atmosphere and couldn't return to space, the enemy fighters peeled off.

The pale blue glow twisting as they boosted into their trajectories. The sensors aboard heard the high pitched whine of the engines, but ignored it as they buzzed on, trying to hit their target as soon as possible.
On Europa, Echo base sat, looking quite busy. Small ships coming and going, but hard to detect from Earth. As the warheads screamed in, the limited AI aboard them saw panicked moves of the ships in flight around the base, then slammed in to detonate their 150 megaton warheads.
For an hour, miniature suns blossomed on the ice planet, making it seem like someone had opened a door to Io. The blast had flung the thing foil base to the winds, hiding the fact that all that was there was foil and holograms.
The UN all nodded and prided themselves on a well done strike as The Renewal Symphony was nearing completion, and some of the last teams were starting to pull out and come along.
Ben was hard at work ducting in the buckytube pipework. Leaning back and grabbing a snack, he studied his work. The pipe was designed to allow waste products from the molten salt reactors to be taken to hardlight replicators to generate power gems. With the 100 arrays, the ship had a great source of power that could last the vessel for centuries.
He looked above, at the dark tube being built in midair. Once put together, it was to be their artificial sun, and light their world. The air was new, but already weather patterns were forming as unearthly machines moved earth like it was a sandbox.
As he tried to see the other side, a flurry of colors swooped around, and found him. He turned on his translator, and smiled. he heard his name called by all the little ones. he smiled, and saw his friend in the hundred little ones coming up to hug him before flying off into the sky.
And he chuckled as he saw his snacks were gone, as well as one of his hand tools. "You sneaky little monkeys, I'll get you later!" he teased, making an exaggerated face and holding his breath to redden it while shaking his fist at them. Hearing their colors translate to giggles, he decided that he was going to tickle the lot of them later, and went to the nearest snack station.

Tez2, a reputable Rockstar insider has suggested on the GTA Forums that GTA 6 is likely to be released this year with a tentative release date of 2024.
According to my own reports which date back to June 2021, this seems to be the case. My sources have said that Grand Theft Auto 6 has been aiming for a 2024 release date for some time, but speculation and past reveal/release schedules of the likes of GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 suggest the game will be delayed until 2025.
If I were to guess – I believe the game would release in the holiday of 2025 instead of the spring.
As for when the announcement is made is unclear, but typically Rockstar Games likes to announce its big reveals on its own. So to set expectations, I wouldn’t necessarily expect the game to be announced at E3. Instead, I expect some form of reveal trailer in Q4 2023 to coincide with past reveals.
According to my own sources, one of the major reasons for such a long-winded “delay” is that GTA 6 will release on current-generation consoles only. With the tentative 2024 date being planned as far back as 2021, it was a means of ensuring that GTA 6 would have a sufficient console market to release on.
In late 2022, Rockstar Games had a security breach that resulted in over 70 videos on GTA 6 gameplay surfacing online. In its subsequent earnings call, Take-Two Interactive addressed investors to state that the leak was unfortunate, but they believe it had no impact on development.
“There’s no evidence that any material assets were taken, which is a good thing, and certainly the leak won’t have any influence on development or anything of the sort, but it is terribly disappointing and causes us to be ever more vigilant on matters relating to cybersecurity”, it was said.
As for GTA 6, for now, we’ll need to continue sitting tight and see what gets announced in the hopefully near future.

I really would like y’alls input on the relationship I’m in. So I’m a 27 year old man and have been in a relationship with this woman who is nearly 30 for about 2 years. We dated about 7 months and then my heart wasn’t in it so I broke it off. She took the breakup hard but eventually stopped texting/calling me. So about 6 months after the breakup I decided to try it again and we’re back dating. She actually moved in with me about 8 months ago. I had her stay with me since she teaches school close to where I live and it was just convenient for her being that close to work. So she’s a great woman. She cooks, cleans, helps out with groceries. I enjoy spending time with her but she’s been pressing on me about getting married. Deep down in my heart I don’t feel like I should. She is heartbroken and won’t leave the house although I’ve told her I don’t feel like we should get married. Maybe I am a bad guy after all the time she’s spent with me and I still feel the way I do. She deserves a man that will be fully committed to marriage. I’ve told her that and it just breaks her heart even more when I say that. I want her to be happy but I don’t feel like I am the one that’s suppose to make her happy. I just hate to lead her on and that was never my intention but it seems like that’s what I’ve done. How should I break things off. I just don’t know what to do. Also whenever I’ve said something about her leaving she’s cursed at me and told me I never gave a shit about her and that she’s not leaving. She said she’s poured too much into our relationship to give up. It’s hard when she just doesn’t want to leave. Any input would sure be appreciated.

Things have been rough for a while, and the last month or two I felt like I was living in a dark little pit. But I'm finally coming out of it, and I spent the last few days hyping myself up to clean on my day off. And I acutally did it!
Or started, at least. I'm nowhere near finished, but I made a dent in my depression cave. I know it's not really anything to brag about, but I have terrible ADHD so this is a pretty big win in my book.

I'm 14 (nearly 15) M, and I'm going in for a psychiatric evaluation on Monday. My newest therapist referred me there because I scored really high on the GAD-7 and PHQ-9, and I've scored that way for a while. It's not surprising to me at all since I've obviously been living with those symptoms for a while now, but I am kinda nervous about what's going to happen. Not necessarily the medication part, I'd really like if meds could help me feel better, but I'm just nervous about the eval itself.
I've had a lot of suicidal and self harm ideation the past month or so in particular. When I was nine, there were six months where I was self harming somewhat regularly. Fortunately I had no clue on how to really hurt myself so I didn't do serious damage, just some scars that have since faded almost entirely. Anyway, I'm just worried that if I tell the psychiatrist that, they'll need to tell my mom. I've thought about how I would do it (sleeping pills) but it's more like a disconnected fantasy. I'm not at the point where I would actually do anything or feel like I need to. Although there have certainly been moments where I've seriously considered it. Would this constitute as posing a risk to myself? If I admitted to having suicidal ideation would they need to tell my mom?
