2023.03.20 23:07 joycee97 I might be graduating college soon and my friends and family want to celebrate but I don't want to
For context: I've been struggling to get a college degree for 7,5 years now and I am almost done. I have a conversation about finishing my graduation project this Thursday and if everything is okay I can schedule a tike to present my portfolio. If that presentation is also okay I graduate.
Here's my issue: my friends and family keep urging me to have a party once I graduate and I don't think I want to for a few reasons.
First: I'm not even sure I'll graduate and the stress is almost unbearable now that everyone around me is expecting that I will get my diploma soon. I'm so scared something will go wrong and I won't get my diploma and disappoint everyone.
Second: it doesn't feel like something worth celebrating to me. It feels more like something I barely survived (literally). Celebrating something that has made me feel miserable for so long feels wrong.
Third: Im exhausted. I feel so burned out and have had so many meltdowns lately. I'm absolutely not in the mood for celebrating. I just want to bury myself in a huge pile of squishmallows and weighted blankets.
My friends and family keep pushing me because they are convinced that I will regret it if I don't celebrate this achievement. I've tried to explain why I don't want to but they don't understand or don't want to listen. How do I make it clear to them that I REALLY DONT WANT TO CELEBRATE THIS?!

2023.03.20 23:07 Deepthinker289 Review/summary of early draft of MSON with the infamous plot of Junior touching Janice when she was a kid
I tried to post this as a new thread but keep getting “something went wrong” but since it fits this topic I’ll post here:
A poster on this subreddit posted a link to an earlier draft of a the script for Many Saints of Newark. I initially thought it was joke when he posted a subplot of Junior molesting Janice when she was a kid. I had to read it myself.
Well, the script appears to be clearly legitimate. It doesn’t actually say who wrote it on the cover page and I know the final draft is credited to both Chase and Lawrence Konner. I’m assuming this draft was fully written by Chase before Konner came aboard but I’m not entirely sure.
In any event, if you were disappointed by the film (I was as well but don’t think it’s as terrible as most people think), then this draft with this Junior subplot will make the final version look like the script for Chinatown. I don’t know if the genius Chase “lost it” in the intervening years between 2007 and 2019 when I think this script was written but the Junior subplot is so off the rails melodramatic and ridiculous considering we never had any hint of this in the actual series. It also occurs nearly when the script is finished in an awkward tonal change.
So here are highlight (or lowlights) if anyone is interested.
Early on one of Juniors goomars tells Livia that Junior doesn’t like to have sex (shades of Ralphie) and only likes to give oral.
Towards the end of the script, a 16 year old Janice drops acid and goes Dickie’s house to speak to “Aunt Joanne” (Dickie’s wife) but she’s gone and only Dickie is there. She’s extremely upset and Dickie gets her to tell him that dropping acid led to a flashback of when she was 8 and Junior, playing Santa Clause, touched her. Junior then told her if she ever told anyone he would “SLIT HER THROAT” (seriously, this script has to be read to be believed). She also says she told Livia back then but Livia slapped her and told her she was imagining things.
Dickie then goes to see Junior and puts a gun to his head and tells him to admit what thin reason in the actual final film.

2023.03.20 23:07 magick_crafts_corner Two young red foxes found on my property
| Hi there, I'm new on reddit so this is my first post. I feel sad about the fact that a lot of foxes are dying in my region. These 2 were found on my property near a water stream, but 5 days apart. I'm living in Switzerland, so we called the wildlife guard to ask about eventual dangerous sicknesses, and he said they wouldn't send any fox that died near a road for analysis because the service in charge of that (we are a small country) are drowning under avian flu cases and wolves attacks (they are back in the country in force after a long time). The wildlife guard and another person I asked who is specialized in foxes told me that it's most probably canine distemper if they haven't been hit by a car. This last month we found 4 foxes if I count all of them and most of them were young ones. I live about 100 meters away from a fox / European badger burrow so i statistically have more chances to find dead animals, but still. I wish the wildlife guards would care more about dying foxes and not consider them as pest 😕 So, now I have a lot of red foxes I'm gonna have to take care about after all the tissues are gone. I don't know how long it will take as all I found until now we're bones and not entire animals. Plus it's a pretty cold climate where I live, but spring is coming. I think I'm gonna let them decompose above ground, but maybe I'm gonna put a plastic box with holes above them so no dogs or other foxes approach them and get sick. That's what I did for the first one but I wasn't planning on finding two others so, I don't have any boxes left and need to buy more. submitted by magick_crafts_corner to vultureculture [link] [comments] |
2023.03.20 23:07 ThatOneSchmuck Western Blot results
Terri Warren just got back to me to say that my WB came back negative for HSV1/2.
My IgG was 2.37, and I started to develop symptoms that I took pictures of and posted on a throwaway with many people from various subs saying it was herpes. Terri did comment that the symptoms were pretty atypical, but I was pretty set that it was a true positive.
I won't go back into too much detail about the process as there's already a handful of posts that explain the steps.
I've been "living" with herpes for a while and took the blot as closure, so that I could move forward. I'm honestly a bit surprised that she said they came back negative and I still feel conflicted.
I was living a life with herpes, disclosing, keeping my body in shape and pursing to live my best life. That still exists herpes or not. This community has been great in educating myself and challenging the stigma.
Even tho I'm negative, I would without a doubt still choose to date and sleep with a lady if she disclosed her status to me. Had you asked me that three months ago before I tested positive, I would've said absolutely not.
The experience, education, and having to disclose made me realize how bullshit the stigma is.
You guys are a solid community and I'll still hang around you all to continue getting educated.

I'm looking up 24 hour cafes/workplaces and not finding too many options near where I'll be staying (hapjeong/hongdae). Are there any recommendations on a place to do video calls between midnight-5am in that area? I remember seeing signs for the sinchon A Twosome place saying it was open 24 hrs but online it says it's closed late
The Airbnb I am staying in has one other guest, so calling there might not be an option.

2023.03.20 23:07 RDCLder Some Thoughts/Questions
I finished watching both animes, the OVAs, and the movie a few times now, and after reading through a lot Reddit/Quora/Stack Exchange posts, I still have some thoughts and questions I want to address. I've read the VNs shed more light on everything so I'll check those out once I have time.
First DMail and Alpha/Beta Divergence In S;G episode 1, sending the first DMail causes the worldline to shift from a beta worldline to an alpha one, but I still have some confusion about that. For the DMail to cause the shift, my understanding is that there must have been at least one iteration at the very beginning where Kurisu dies for real (not killed by future Okabe), Okabe somehow gets alerted to this (no future Okabe scream to catch his attention), so following sequence of event unfolds:
- Lecture on time travel happens, Kurisu meets up with her dad and dies for real (presumably killed by her dad)
- Okabe somehow stumbles upon Kurisu's body, goes outside and sends DMail to the past (b/c Daru was messing with the phone microwave)
- SERN saves the DMail in their database but don't necessarily check it and/or connect it to Okabe having a working time device right away. At this point, Kurisu's dad is on his way to Russia with Kurisu's paper on time travel
- Daru attends a talk on time travel (this is very important b/c it's the reason Suzu wants to go to 2010, so she can meet her dad)
- Some time passes and SERN does connect the DMail to Okabe's lab, raids it, steals the phone microwave, and uses it to develop the first time machine before Russia does (b/c SERN is the closest to having cracked time travel with the jellyman experiments), and takes over the world
- In the future, Daru develops an imperfect time machine (since SERN has full control over what's required to build a fully functional one). Daru is killed. Suzu is raised by her mom, has never met her dad but learns about him and Okabe. Suzu's mom is also killed, and Suzu joins the resistance at some point.
- Suzu is given the mission to travel to 1975 to acquire an IBN 5100 and make sure Okabe acquires it in 2010 so Daru can use it to decrypt the SERN database that stores the first DMail, and erase it so that SERN never takes the phone microwave.
- Suzu travels to 2010 b/c she knows her father attends a talk on time travel and wants to meet him. Due to the time machine being imperfect, her coordinates are off, and she crashes into the roof, thereby causing Kurisu's father's lecture on time travel to get cancelled. Kurisu is alive, and her paper on time travel is never stolen by her father.
- Suzu also doesn't meet her dad just because by traveling to the past, she's already shifted to a worldline where her Okabe prevents Daru from attending. Presumably she couldn't have predicted this outcome b/c of worldine shifts in general being unpredictable due to the Butterfly Effect.
- From this point on, in each subsequent worldline/iteration in the Alpha attractor field, Suzu always travels and crashes in 2010, Kurisu always survives and helps the FG lab build a time machine, Mayuri always dies (b/c the universe is cruel), and the future always leads to a SERN dystopia. S;G events unfold.
If this is correct, this implies that one of the major divergence factors is the first DMail and not necessarily Kurisu's death and her time travel paper. SERN can still develop a time machine using just Okabe/Daru's phone microwave. It's just that the very first iteration of the alpha worldline (at least from the perspective of the anime) will eventually lead to subsequent alpha worldlines in which Kurisu is still alive and is the one that develops the time machine instead. We know that Kurisu isn't strictly needed to develop a working time machine b/c Daru is able to do it, albeit with Maho's help, in the beta worldline. Thus, it's not unreasonable to think Daru + Okabe + SERN's research is enough for SERN to create a time machine first even if the Russians have Kurisu's time travel paper.
However, I feel like this is probably incorrect, and this may be one of those cases where Suzuha just always travels to the past, and there's no initial origin point where Kurisu dies, and her father steals her time travel paper. It just never happens the moment the first DMail is sent no matter how many iterations back you try to look.
Kurisu's Importance in the Beta Worldline Attractor Field One thing that gets emphasized is how Kurisu needs to survive to prevent WW3 in the beta worldline, but I don't think that's true, if my reasoning for the previous section is correct. The conditions that lead to WW3 are the following:
- Kurisu's time travel theory is exposed to the public in some way (be it her father stealing it, someone using Amadeus to recreate it, or something else). This causes a global arms race to create a time machine which escalates into WW3.
- Okabe never sends the first DMail so SERN never acquires the phone microwave device from the FG lab.
Whether Kurisu lives or dies is irrelevant. In fact, the only real difference between the S;G and beta worldlines besides Kurisu's survival is the survival of the time travel theory which leads to the time machine arms race. If the paper is destroyed, even if Kurisu is dead, the world would effectively be in a pseudo S;G worldline where SERN isn't guaranteed to control the world and WW3 isn't guaranteed to happen. It could even be argued that Kurisu's survival actually increases the chances of WW3 b/c she has the ability to recreate the time travel theory. The reason saving Kurisu is so important is b/c it's Okabe's ideal worldline where both Mayuri and Kurisu are alive, not necessarily b/c it's the ONLY way to prevent a guaranteed dystopian future.
Time Travel Mechanics and Reading Steiner At this point, it's common knowledge that there's only one universe, and there can only be one active worldline. This means there's no multiverse or meeting multiple future/past selves and grandfather paradox shenanigans. My understanding is that every time any time travel happens, be it through sending DMails, sending data, physical time travel or whatever, it causes a worldline change. Sometimes the change is so negligible (e.g. Okabe telling Daru about Faris's strategy in the Rai-Net tournament) that it's effectively the same worldline in every other way, and it doesn't trigger Reading Steiner which means Reading Steiner doesn't trigger in every worldline shift, only ones that are big enough that overwriting the new Okabe's memories would trigger it. Logically, this means there are worldline shifts that even Okabe won't detect, but for all intents and purposes, they're insignificant b/c the Okabe getting overwritten had the exact same (or close enough) memories as the Okabe doing the overwriting, and the worldlines are effectively the same.
But what about traveling to the future? Or when there are multiple instances of the same character from the future/past traveling to the same time. I think traveling to the future must be functionally the same as traveling to the past in causing worldline shifts. We know that worldline shifts must occur each time someone travels to the past so this means two instances of the same character traveling to the same time will never meet each other (e.g. no 3 Okabes on July 28th in 2010). Consider the scenario where Person A has time machine FG203 in the year 2036. Person A uses FG203 to go to 1975. Person A then uses FG203 to go back to 2036, exactly 1 minute before Person A leaves initially leaves for 1975. At this point, if traveling to the future doesn't cause a worldline shift, time paradoxes become possible. Therefore, any kind of time travel, to the past or the future, must cause a worldline shift. This is why Suzu and Daru are both concerned about Suzu time traveling to a point in time she's already time traveled to (e.g. Suzu and Mayuri traveling to 2010 for Operation Arclight). It could cause a
significant enough worldline shift that introduces new variables and Butterfly Effects that make the Steins;Gate worldline unattainable. The reason I emphasize significant is b/c, as we've already conjectured, any kind of time travel causes a worldline shift, but not all worldline shifts are big enough to trigger Reading Steiner. You can still shift to a worldline that's only slightly different enough to be effectively the same.
Timing of Reading Steiner From Okabe's Perspective We know that Okabe was ill as a kid which is heavily implied to be due to Reading Steiner activating from a worldline shift, possibly due to Suzuha traveling to 1999 to prevent Y2K. Reading Steiner also activates the moment Okabe sends the first DMail, as opposed to happening on the date it gets sent to in the past. This implies that it must always happen from the perspective of the Okabe from just before the worldline shifts. However, how exactly does the universe determine when exactly the worldline shifts from Okabe's perspective? Here's a thought experiment to illustrate what I mean:
- The S;G worldline's future is somehow actually worse than both the Alpha and Beta worldlines. Okabe calls Suzu out of retirement for one last
job jump. Suzu's mission is to go back to 1999 and prevent Okabe from developing his mad scientist persona, thereby preventing the events in S;G from happening. - Suzu travels from 2036 in the previous worldline (in which Okabe is still alive) to 1999 in a new worldline (in which Okabe is also alive). When does Reading Steiner activate from the perspective of Okabe? Does it happen in 2036 or 1999? Or does it happen in both? If it happens in both, would Okabe in 1999 only receive the memories of Okabe up until 1999 from the previous worldline? And, then separately, in 2036, assuming Okabe is also still alive, he would receive the full memories of the previous worldline, right?
In the anime, this is much easier to follow and reconcile b/c we only follow the perspective of one Okabe at a time b/c either there's only one Okabe at that time or the Okabe in any other times that are relevant for the worldline shift are dead (e.g. 2025 in beta worldline).
S;G 0 Ending Timeline Here's my understanding of the timeline.
- S;G 0 Okabe successfully thwarts the rooftop helicopter attacks, allowing Operation Arclight to be carried out.
- Suzu and Mayuri travel back to 2010 for Operation Arclight, only stay for the minute that other Suzu and Okabe are still in the past to avoid time paradox that would cause a worldline shift, run out of fuel and get stranded in 18000 BC.
- At this point, even if Mayuri slaps some sense into Okabe after his initial failure to save Kurisu, it doesn't do anything b/c we still don't have the plan for Operation Skuld figured out yet, or do we? I lean towards not yet b/c then the ending in 2025 doesn't make sense to me.
- Timeline proceeds as normal, leading to beta worldline where WW3 happens, but this time, having been reinvigorated by Mayuri's plea, Okabe spends the next 15 years figuring out all the details for Operation Skuld, realizing that you can "deceive" fate by faking Kurisu's death.
- The recording we see at the end of episode 23 followed by Okabe undergoing Operation Altair to rescue Suzu and Mayuri in 18000 BC is all actually the previous worldline just before episode 24 in the original S;G anime.
- Unclear where Suzu and Mayuri go to after this. Okabe 0 presumably stays behind to not risk overwriting present Okabe (or any point up until his death in 2025), though I don't know if the overwriting is that risky so much as just traveling to the future itself being risky since it can cause a significant worldline change. I touch on this more further below.
- More time passes, as Suzu has to grow up to become future soldier in 2036 (unless we can use Suzu that time traveled back from 18000 BC?) and carry out her missions to acquire an IBN 5100, use it to prevent Y2K in 1999 per the original John Titor timeline at the start of S;G episode 1, and convince Okabe to save Kurisu.
- This time, it's the final iteration which leads directly to episode 24 in the original S;G anime and everything needed to achieve the S;G worldline is present.
With that said, since we've established that traveling to the past definitely causes a worldline shift, and traveling to the future likely causes a worldline shift to avoid time paradoxes, doesn't this mean that Operation Arclight is somewhat risky? There's no guarantee the worldline shift caused by Suzu and Mayuri traveling back to the future won't change things enough to make the S;G worldline unattainable. Basically any more worldline shifts after Suzu goes back from 2036 to 2010 for the final iteration is risky b/c of the unpredictability of worldline shifts and Butterfly Effects. Or maybe, the power of love and friendship is enough to overcome this? Personally, I fully respect Okabe's decision to save future soldier and best girl.

2023.03.20 23:06 Agreeable_Idea5515 How did you decide to commit?
Hi INTP friends! ENFP (f/39) here. I’m curious; for those that are or have been in long term committed (monogamous) relationships - how did you get there? Did it take years? Were you friends first? Did you consciously chose to be or did it just happen?
For context; I have an INTP (m/38) friend I’ve known since we were kids. About a year ago we became FWB. He was super clear at the time he never wants to be in a committed relationship again. He believes he’s “bad” at them because he can’t meet anyone’s expectations. I was fine with that for a few months post divorce. Then, I had to go no contact for a few months because I realized I wanted more from him. He broke down one day during no contact and told me he really likes me, spending time with me and wants to be a part of my life. We’ve seen one another more frequently since (lots of compliments and physical affection from him). We’ve both started opening up emotionally. However, he made a comment this weekend while we were in a typical open dialogue that “we’ve already had that conversation” when I said I couldn’t tell if he was asking me to be his girlfriend or telling me it will never happen. I’m in no rush to commit. But I’m curious if he might change his mind eventually (if we keep being naturally compatible) or if being a stubborn, fear of hurt and failure type INTP likely means he’s never gonna change that mindset.
TLDR: any of you go from being dead set on never being in a romantic relationship again to being in a LTR? If so, how did it happen?

2023.03.20 23:06 crazydrum954 PK Sound - can someone explain?
I'm in the UK and (as far as I'm aware) there isn't any PK sound here. I certainly have never heard it. I was just looking into their robotic line array a little more because I think the idea is really innovative. Point 1: Are the motorisation & robotic elements not really heavy? How are they still a reasonable weight? Point 2: I was on their website, and I saw that you can't own their flagship trinity line. Can someone explain how this is working and what the theory is behind it? Do you basically lease it?
Thanks

2023.03.20 23:06 L0rem-Ipsum-Docet Why didn't Henry kill his daughter himself ?
(spoiler of the novel obviously)
In TFC, we have the opportunity to read Henry's suicide note. The last instruction he gives to his sister is to burn down the house after a while, and kill Charlie (Charlie-bot I specify just in case). Even if this last instruction is not said explicitly, I do not see any other possible interpretation in the sense of the letter:
" Keep all the closets shut. Let them be tombs for my denial and my grievance.(...) Then, someday, after many decades have passed and no one remembers, fill it with every kind of flammable thing and burn it to the ground, standing close guard to put a bullet into anything that emerges from the rubble, no matter what, or who, it looks like. "
The fact that Henry wants to kill his daughter is perfectly logical since, as he precisely states in the same letter, he does not particularly appreciate Charlie in herself (on the contrary) but only the image that she sends back (the memory of his biological daughter). And even though Henry seems to think that William is dead, he also knows that William is out to find Henry's creations to make them his own, it's not foolish of him to kill Charlie, just in case William is still alive. And anyway Henry having already buried the Twisted for a probably similar purpose, it is assumed that he wants to destroy all his inventions to make sure they are never used again. Besides, Henry at least mentions agony by name, it's possible that Henry understood that agony is dangerous and wants to get rid of it.
In the novels, Charlie is still alive (nice deduction on my part, I know). This is most likely due to Jenny not being able to take down her niece. She approaches a cold but protective demeanor towards Charlie and even though as Charlie says, she has never expressed much affection towards her, she still cares for her niece and admits that she loves her during his death.
Now my question is, why didn't Henry take care of killing his daughter himself.
I know, said like that it's creepy and it seems obvious, but let's remember that in his suicide note, Henry admits that seeing his daughter no longer does anything to him and only brings him pain. And it's not like Henry's plan calls for directly murdering Charlie, rather the letter seems to insinuate that the point is just to put her in a closet and leave, so nothing hugely traumatic to do (the part "traumatic" is rather to set the house on fire, a task he leaves to his sister). And even if it was, Henry apologizes for having been a burden to his sister, why leave her a task as painful as killing a child?
Especially since the other two models of Charlie (Ella and more than likely Charlie v3 although I admit that it is never said explicitly in the trilogy) are already placed in their respective closets by Henry and that he did not have any qualms about doing so.
And then, as already said, killing Charlie is not a prerequisite for anything. Henry deliberately wishes her dead probably because it's less risky. Henry makes sure the Twisted and Charlie-bot 4 are locked up and can't escape until the house burns down, why not do the same with Charlie v2 if Henry really wants her dead? I know he could have just left the charge to his sister, but he takes care of all his creations personally leaving Jen out of it all. Why go to so much trouble and not take care of his most dangerous creation?
Obviously I can be satisfied with the solution which I think will be answered in the majority, that it was psychologically too complicated for Henry and that locking up a doll with his daughter's skin would be too difficult for him (even if it did not didn't cause any problems with the other two, they weren't conscious so I guess it's less painful?), but if you have other ideas I'm all ears.
Just in case, I also remind you that:
1) Henry speaks here of his daughter, more precisely of Charlie v1-v2 (and probably v3), he does not speak of the last phase of Charlie since he mentions her in the second paragraph of the letter and that in any way, he makes it clear to keep ALL the closets shut.
" Keep all the closets shut (...) My only lasting instruction for you concerns the fourth closet. It is not enough to keep it shut, you must keep that one sealed and buried. "
2) I'm well aware that Henry's specific instruction is to "keep all the closets shut" and Charlie v2 technically isn't currently in a closet. But I would REALLY be surprised if Henry didn't mention her here. Not only does he ask his sister to seal ALL the closet, but also his request would make no sense if Charlie v2 is not included. After all, the main danger comes from her, she's the one with the agony-filled rag doll, it would be stupid not to include her in the plan. And then in any case Jenny does not follow the instruction since she brings Charlie to Henry's house to change bodies.
3) Yes Henry speaks of his daughter and not of the Twisted. Not only are the Twisted not in closets, but the staging supports that. When Charlie and John read the letter, Charlie quickly loses interest as John stresses the importance of what Henry says and reminds that there was Ella in a closet and there must have been something in the closets.
" “What did he mean about the closets?” John said. “I don’t know,” Charlie said drily. “Think,” John protested. “It has to mean something.” “I don’t know.” Charlie repeated. “You were there; they were always empty. Except the one with Ella.” “You don’t know that,” John said softly. “There was one that was locked,” he continued, almost to himself. "
Their respective behavior only makes sense if we are talking about the Charlie-bots. Charlie acts disinterested for obvious reasons (Henry seems to have created her by making sure she doesn't notice the anomalies around her) and John worries and gives Ella interest, which he does throughout the chapter, because he already has serious doubts about the identity of Charlie and Ella and is probably wondering if he has really just read a letter where the suicidal father of his crush announces that she's a robot and he tried to burn her when she was 7 (we all sympathize with John). And anyway, if Henry makes it clear to his sister not to hesitate to kill what's still alive no matter WHO it looks like, it seems to indicate that he's explicitly talking about Charlie v1 or Charlie v2 (someone that would make Jen doubt pull the trigger at least, and there isn't much in the house that fits that description apart from them). And then the construction of the scene serves to lead to the revelation of the twist (by John) before Elizabeth comes to interfere.
I spent far too much time questioning myself about a scriptwriting facility…

2023.03.20 23:05 Dinoboned Can’t bring myself to shoot other players
I’m relatively new to playing Dayz and after spending hours playing and gearing up it hurts to kill other players.
I don’t know names of locations or anything yet so I can’t be specific, but I was playing solo and came across 2 players at a military outpost. It was dark and one was shooting zombies willy-nilly and another had on some sort of red light that made it super easy to spot them. Safe to say they were geared to the teeth. There was a couple times they’d stop to loot and I’d line up a quick headshot, but I was too afraid that they were nice people and I didn’t want to ruin their progress and have them start over. That said, I also didn’t want to walk up and say hello because they might just shoot and kill me once they get the chance. Getting good gear takes forever and I didn’t wanna go through it again so soon. It’s amazing to me that Dayz can emulate that situation as if it were real life, but this still poses a problem for me and makes me question motivation to play.
So what do you guys do? Just avoid people? Kill with no remorse? Is there any way to tell what kind of people you come across are? I’m not sure what to do.

2023.03.20 23:05 gabiande Am I normal to be annoyed by my friend's comment?
My fiance (27M) and I (27F) have been together for 7 years. We met in college in the U.S. but he was from Korea. As a Korean male, he has to serve in the military for ~18 months, and he is leaving next month. This will be the first time that we will be in long distance and tbh I'm quite terrified of not being able to be with him and also living alone for the next ~18 months. People in our friend group know this and many have reached out to me which was really nice of them. Anyway, a couple days ago, two of our friends from the same friend group FaceTime'd my fiance to ask some questions about a car they're planning to purchase since my fiance just bought the same car recently. They are a couple and we'll call them Brad and Anna. Brad and Anna moved to another state last year so we haven't seen them for a while. I also have not been in touch with them for a while. When I heard them talking to my fiance, I went upstairs to say hi. As soon as Brad saw me, he said, "hey, gabiande! Guess what? We'll be doing a backpacking trip in Europe this summer! Then we're going to China and Japan next, all while Josh (my fiance) is in the military!" ??? I was so taken aback by what he just said, I didn't know how to respond for a second. I told them that it's nice they get to take some time off work and I wish them a wonderful time. Then I excused myself and left. His comment has been on my mind since. It was such an odd thing to say to someone the first time you see/talk to in a while. I couldn't understand why he felt the need to "brag" about their travel plans while mentioning the military thing. I can't help but feel that he's trying to make me feel bad about the situation that my fiance and I are in. My fiance said he thinks it's pretty inconsiderate of Brad to say something like that, but he also thinks that I'm overthinking it. He's right, I know I shouldn't let Brad's comment bother me, but I'm still pretty annoyed by it. I guess I just wanted to rant and see if it's normal for me to feel this way. Thanks for reading.

2023.03.20 23:05 AutoModerator [Get] Dan Koe – Digital Economics Masters Degree Full Course Download
| Get the course here: https://www.genkicourses.com/product/dan-koe-digital-economics-masters-degree/ Dan Koe – Digital Economics Masters Degree https://preview.redd.it/4w9tt8nthyoa1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=aaacbd9fdb837f07a27a37c49cd406115367f9e4 What You Get Phase 0) Digital Economics 101 The Digital Economics 101 module will open 1 week prior to the cohort start date. This is an onboarding module that will get you up to speed so we can get straight into the material. This will be required to finish before the start date. - Gain a deep understanding of all of the pieces in the digital economy.
- Learn about the future of media and code — the front-end and backend of the internet — so you can focus your efforts.
- Understand digital leverage, distribution, no-code tools, and digital assets so you can take part in the mental & financial wealth transfer.
Phase 1) Creating A Meaningful Niche Every day I hear people going on and on about trying to find their niche.I also hear people talking about how they don’t know how to combine what they love talking about with what will sell. You already have the answer. You just don’t have the clarity. - Develop a long-term strategy to create your own niche — meaning you don’t have to worry about your “competition” playing status games.
- Discover your life’s work, curiosities, and obsessions. I see too many people that are uncertain about this for years.
- Cultivate and turn your vision, goals, and values into a brand that attracts an audience you love interacting with (and that will buy from you, and only you).
Phase 2) Content Strategy There is one thing that separates those who make it in the digital economy and those who don’t.It’s the quality, articulation, and perceived originality of their content. The content you post has to make sense to the people you attract.Everyone has a different voice and tone that they resonate with. That they are congruent with and trust. It has to change their thought patterns or behavior — that’s what makes you memorable. That’s what separates you from the sea of people posting surface-level copy-cat style posts.Example and putting my money where my mouth is: - Become an expert-level speaker or writer on the topics you care about.
- Never run out of content ideas for your posts or promotions (without using content templates — that’s how you stay a commodity).
- Create posts, blogs, tweets, images, and videos that resonate with other’s on a deep level. People will actually ask you how you got so good at what you do.
- Separate yourself from the ocean of B-tier creators that struggle to sell their products, services, andhave their ideas stick in the head of their audience.
- Implement our Epistemic Research Method — which is just a fancy way of saying scientific research method… but it’s for researching your mind to craft brilliant content and product ideas.
Phase 3) Crafting Your Offer Most people are sitting on a goldmine of skills, experience, and knowledge ( that they can use to help people 1-2 steps behind them). That is what people pay for.Considering 95% of the market are beginners… if you are good at something, you can help them get to your level ( no matter how “basic” you think the information is).Do you not watch basic content all day anyway? People don’t want new information, they want to be reminded of what works. - Use our Minimum Viable Offer strategy to start monetizing immediately (and have something to improve over time, rather than procrastinating until it’s perfect).
- Have a strategy for reducing the time you spend working over time (as you build leverage and improve your offer).
- Know how to create your own customers from the audience you are building, instead of “finding” the right customer for your offer.
- Take the guesswork out of building coaching, consulting, or digital product offers.
Phase 4) Marketing Strategy You aren’t making money because you aren’t promoting yourself or your offer. That is literally the only way to make money. Have something desirable and consistently put it in front of peoples’ faces. In Phase 4, I will show you how to systemize, automate, and be consistent with simple promotions. You will be able to make money without having the chance of forgetting to do it (or letting fear of failure get in the way). - Learn to sell on social media, in your writing, and across different platforms.
- Have consistent sales coming in while focusing on your meaningful message (no need to sound salesy all the time).
- Learn advanced automation strategies that you can implement at your own pace, especially once you validate your offer.
Bonus) The Creator Command Center The Creator Command Center is a Notion template that houses all of the systems. This is how you will manage your brand, content, offer creation, marketing strategy, and systemized promotions for consistent sales. Bonus) Live Product Build & Launch In the first Digital Economics Cohort, I built out my course The 2 Hour Writer.I have videos showing how I build it with the strategies in phase 3 and 4.There is a bonus module that shows how I had an $85,000 launch that resulted in my first $100K month.I did this to prove the strategies inside Digital Economics work if you stick to the plan. And, this past Black Friday, I blew my that monthly high out of the water in 4 days. That’s the power of these strategies if you stay consistent with your life’s work. submitted by AutoModerator to GenkiCourses_2023 [link] [comments] |
2023.03.20 23:04 Wolfs_Bane2017 To the Muslims, there is no worldly punishment for apostasy in Islam
In this post I will argue from the Quran and Hadith that there is no worldly punishment for someone leaving their religion according to Islam. Many scholars argue that there is no punishment for apostasy unless they start preaching against Islam and start trying to convert people out of Islam, I reject this as well and will show evidence against this. Any punishment for apostasy, if any, will occur after we have died and it is only between Allah and the person.
I am not sure whether any of the Muslims in this subreddit believe that the punishment for apostasy is death, but unfortunately many Muslim countries and Muslims themselves around the world support death penalty for apostasy.
No Compulsion in Religion
Holy Quran 16:93:
And if Allah had enforced His will, He would surely have made you all one people; but He lets go astray him who wishes it, and guides him who wishes it; and you shall surely be questioned concerning that which you have been doing.
Holy Quran 2:257
There should be no compulsion in religion. Surely, right has become distinct from wrong; so whosoever refuses to be led by those who transgress, and believes in Allah, has surely grasped a strong handle which knows no breaking. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
Holy Quran 18:30
And say, ‘It is the truth from your Lord; wherefore let him who will, believe, and let him who will, disbelieve.’ Verily, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a fire whose flaming canopy shall enclose them. And if they cry for help, they will be helped with water like molten lead which will burn the faces. How dreadful the drink, and how evil is the Fire as a resting place!
In the above verses Allah affirms that there is freedom in religion in this world and the consequences for the choice of religion will only manifest in the after life. This freedom is applied to those who leave Islam as well otherwise it would contradict these verses. The people can choose who and what to believe and disbelieve in.
Death for Apostasy - A Characteristic of the Enemies of Prophets
Throughout time the prophets were raised against disbelievers to try and convert them. Many were tyrannical and would kill those who changed their religions and accepted the Prophets and would even try to kill the prophets.
The example of Pharaoh in 20:72:
Pharaoh said, ‘Do you believe in him before I give you leave? He must be your chief who has taught you magic. I will therefore surely cut off your hands and your feet alternately, and I will surely crucify you on the trunks of palm-trees; and you shall know which of us is severer and more abiding in punishment.’
Prophet Abraham (as) was threatened with death by stoning for leaving idolatry in Quran 19:47:
He replied, ‘Dost thou turn away from my gods, O Abraham? If thou cease not, I shall surely stone you (to death). Now leave me alone for a long while.’
We also saw this in the time of Muhammad ﷺ where the Quraysh would torture and kill slaves and other poor people who converted to Islam.
To the Muslims who believe in death penalty for apostates of any kind, I ask that if you desire people to convert from other religions and be able to become Muslims safely, how can you then kill those who choose to leave Islam to another religion or belief? Unless you believe that Christians should be able to kill those who convert to Islam, but you certainly wouldn't like that. In my view, you would become exactly like the enemies of the Prophets throughout history if you advocate for the killing of apostates.
Freedom of Speech and Encouragement for Dialogue
Many times the Quran asks people of other faiths and beliefs to produce their proofs.
Quran 2:112:
And they say, ‘None shall ever enter Heaven unless he be a Jew or a Christian.’ These are their vain desires. Say, ‘Produce your proof, if you are truthful.’
Quran 27:65
Or, Who originates creation, and then repeats it and Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Is there a God besides Allah? Say, ‘Bring forward your proof if you are truthful.’
Quran 21:25
Have they taken gods beside Him? Say, ‘Bring forth your proof. Here is the Book of those with me, and the Book of those before me.’ Nay, most of them know not the truth, and so they turn away.
This is clear evidence for the fact that those who belong to other faiths and beliefs should engage in dialogues and debates with Muslims. It is completely illogical to say that this right to produce proof of their belief would not be applicable to an apostate. Apostate's enjoy the same right to freedom of expression as people born into other religions, it does not make any sense as to why apostates should not be afforded the same right to publicly declare their apostasy and discuss amongst the community as to why they left and produce their proof.
No Verse in the Quran declares Death for Apostates
The Quran mentions apostates a few times but it never once prescribes the death penalty for them. If Allah required apostates to be killed there certainly would have been a verse to confirm this.
Quran 47:25:
Surely, those who turn their backs after guidance has become manifest to them, Satan has seduced them, and holds out to them false hopes.
(see also Quran 16:6-9)
Possibility of Repentance
Quran 3:90 on apostates:
Except those who repent thereafter and amend. And surely, Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful.
The verses before this verse speak of apostates and it says they will be condemned by Allah, the Angels and all of humanity. If there was a worldly punishment for apostasy Allah would surely have stated it here.
Quran 4:138:
Those who believe, then disbelieve, then again believe, then disbelieve, and then increase in disbelief, Allah will never forgive them nor will He guide them to the way.
If we were to kill apostates how would they be able to repent or be able to believe and disbelieve multiple times? Still in the case of those who apostate multiple times Allah does not say to kill them and rather gives glad tidings of forgiveness if they repent or warnings of punishment from Allah if they do not repent.
Apostasy would Encourage Hypocrisy
Hypocrisy is worse than disbelief from an Islamic point of view.
Quran 4:146:
The hypocrites shall surely be in the lowest depth of the Fire; and thou shalt find no helper for them,
No one is able to control what is within a persons heart. If a person no longer has faith in Islam and is no longer a Muslim at heart, but stays a Muslim in name just because his/her government would kill them otherwise, then they are now a hypocrite which is even worse than disbelieving. This would not save them from the hellfire so there is literally no point in promoting punishments for apostates. Instead, such force and oppression would lead people to hate Islam even more and who can blame them for that?
Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
After the Holy Quran, the most authoritative source for laws in Islam is the practice and sayings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. In his life, Muhammad ﷺ never killed anyone for mere apostasy.
For example, the prophet ﷺ never killed any of the apostates that left the religion after the Isra (night journey).
In the treaty of Hudabiya, anyone who left the Muslims to go to the Quraysh could not be returned and this term was agreed on by the Prophet ﷺ. If Allah had commanded to kill apostates, Muhammad ﷺ would never agree to a term that would not let him carry out Allahs commands.
Quran 3:73:
And a section of the People of the Book say, ‘Believe in that which has been revealed unto the believers, in the early part of day, and disbelieve in the latter part thereof; perchance they may return;
In his Tafseer
Behrul Muheet, Abu Hayyan Al-Gharnati mentions that this was decided upon by twelve Jewish rabbis of Khaibar and Urainah:
‘Twelve rabbis from amongst the Jews of Khaibar and the town of Urainah (decided to act upon this) and said to one another: enter into the faith of Muhammad (sa) in the beginning of the day by confessing faith by the tongue but not in actual beliefs, and disbelieve in the later part of the day.’
There is no record of these Jews ever being killed and they certainly would not have tried this plan if they knew that they would be liable to be killed for apostasy.
An example of a Bedouin who blamed his fever on the acceptance of Islam in
Sahih Bukhari 7216: A bedouin came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "Please take my Pledge of allegiance for Islam." So the Prophet took from him the Pledge of allegiance for Islam. He came the next day with a fever and said to the Prophet (ﷺ) "Cancel my pledge." But the Prophet (ﷺ) refused and when the bedouin went away, the Prophet said, "Medina is like a pair of bellows (furnace): It expels its impurities and brightens and clears its good."
The Prophet ﷺ never once warned him that apostasy would be punished by death nor did the Prophet ﷺ order people to track him down to execute him. Rather it was seen as good that only the pure would stay and there would be no hypocrites staying in Islam.
There is also the example of the apostate Abdullah bin Abi Sarh who committed treason.
Sunan Abu Dawud 3458: Abdullah ibn AbuSarh used to write (the revelation) for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). Satan made him slip, and he joined the infidels. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) commanded to kill him on the day of Conquest (of Mecca). Uthman ibn Affan sought protection for him. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) gave him protection.
The war was now over, and his treason had not included murder of innocent Muslims, unlike others. His crime had been inciting other tribes against Islam and abandonment of the Muslim forces during a time of war. Abdullah had surrendered of his own accord and asked to accept Islam, which was a declaration of repentance. Thus, he had put himself under the mercy of the ruler of the time. The Qur’an states that the default punishment for treason and rebellion is death, but those who surrender themselves before they are caught should be shown leniency (Quran 5:34-35).
Hadith - Narrations on Apostasy
Sunan an-Nasa'i 4059
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whoever changes his religion, kill him.'"
The Quran is the supreme source for Muslims and the Hadith should be interpreted in a consistent manner with the Quran. As I have set out that the Quran allows for religious freedom and freedom of speech in religious matters.
We also need to look at the context of the time. In that time the Arabs were tribal and family connections meant everything. When Islam came, the brotherhood of Islam superseded any familial and tribal connections which upset the pagan Arabs and for that, and other reasons, they became hostile to the Muslims. Eventually the Pagans and Muslims were at war with each other and fought many battles. in this time, when people generally deserted religion they did not merely abandon their doctrine but they would be changing their allegiance either between the Muslims or the pagans and joining their military. Hence, apostasy was equivalent to "harb" meaning rebellion or treason. This interpretation is more consistent with the verses of the Quran and the practice of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ who allowed people to leave the religion so long as they didn't intend to commit treason and start rebellions. Hence, this is why the bedouin and the Jews who deserted from Islam weren't killed, because they weren't starting war against the Muslims.
Other Hadiths provide the qualification of rebellion and war:
Sahih Bukhari 6899:
"By Allah, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) never killed anyone except in one of the following three situations: (1) A person who killed somebody unjustly, was killed (in Qisas,) (2) a married person who committed illegal sexual intercourse and (3) a man who fought against Allah and His Apostle and deserted Islam and became an apostate."
Sunan an-Nasai 4048:
The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "It is not permissible to shed the blood of a Muslim except in three cases: An adulterer who had been married, who should be stoned to death; a man who killed another man intentionally, who should be killed; and a man who left Islam and waged war against Allah, the Might and Sublime, and His Messenger, who should be killed, or crucified, or banished from the land."
Hence, the overwhelming evidence is that death is not for apostasy but for rebellion and in that specific time apostasy and rebellion were generally the same. As stated, there are examples of those who deserted Islam such as the bedouin and the Jews and those who left after the night journey who were not killed.
No Rationale for Death for Apostasy
For a missionary religion that wants to spread its message to the whole world and win the hearts of every people, death for apostasy makes no sense. Death for mere apostasy is morally reprehensible and many people rightfully critique it. How can a religion claim to be perfected in morals and from God when it kills its people if they leave the religion and preach against it. I believe Islam is the true religion and it is able to refute any arguments put against it. There is no threat from apostates or anyone else who try and preach against it, hence why Allah invites people from other religions to produce their proofs multiple times.
The very name Islam requires there to be a wilful submission to the will of Allah by a person. If people were under threat of the death penalty for apostasy by the government and that is the only reason they call themselves Muslim, then they are no longer wilfully submitting to Allah's will, rather they are submitting to the government which defeats the purpose of the very core of Islam. Allah bestows love of Himself and Islam when believers strive towards Him as is stated in many verses of the Quran and Hadith, hence there is no good reason to have the threat of death towards its followers in order to keep them in the religion.

2023.03.20 23:04 Namra_Nk 22F and 25M. Loneliness without partner.
I date a girl. She’s a great person, let’s say even unique in a sense. But there is one problem this girl has - she’s lonely. We both can’t live together, but at least we spend tons of times together but each time when i leave her, even if we spent entire day together, she feels sadness and loneliness. Her only parent is sick and don’t live with her, but even if they did live together, their relationships are bad so… she only has 1 friend and they can’t see each other often. How can I help her feel less lonely? I spend my entire time with her, when I’m not around I call her and we talk until fall asleep. Still her loneliness causes her too much pain. What should she do to feel better? What can I advise her. She’s the most caring and amazing person I met and it hurts me to see her suffering in loneliness.

2023.03.20 23:04 menguanito Hidden doors/rooms - How do they work?
Hello,
This evening I was talking with my son, when he asked me to add hidden doors to his game (yes, it was his 7DRL entry, but we've converted to a 500DRL or something like this... :P).
I'm not asking about the technical side, because it's easy: place a room, connect it to another, and put a "fake wall" tile instead of a "wall" tile. This isn't a problem.
The problem is: how to they work? How can the player know that he is behind a fake wall, and at the other side there is a corridor to another room?
The only mechanish I know is the on in The Legend of Zelda: some walls had cracks, you put a bomb in front of the wall, and sometimes (if it was a real fake wall) the wall collapses and appears a tunnel to another room. In roguelikes, are there any other mechanisms? Maybe when you walk in front of the wall a new message is written in the log, something like "This wall looks strange"? And how these walls/doors are usually open? A bomb? Some "scrool of opening doors"?
One final question: when you have hidden rooms, should these appear in a "magical map", or these are hidden until you open the wall?
Thank you! :)

Dear J,
I'm sorry. I would just like to be direct. I don't know how to find you anymore. You know how to find me. Translation: if you wanted to talk to me, you'd do it.
I upset you, hurt you; I know. You don't need to hear all the whats and whens. I'm just sorry. If for nothing else, then for the fact that I hurt you. To this day, I don't really think my questioning was out of line or even unwarranted, but it hurt you and I 'm sorry for that. I should have said sorry a long time ago. I felt, at the time, that was wrong. It felt like regression and that was stupid. If anything, the progress would have been in knowing when and when not to say sorry as opposed to picking and choosing the right time.
Considering the circumstances of how we met, please understand my concern - my desperate wanting for a sign of life. I hope to God you are well. I hope you're better than ever.
Probably, at least once a month, I see a lone tree in an otherwise empty field and think 'that's where I'll leave it for her.' Though, I wouldn't even know how to let you know where to find it. I wouldn't even know if you were still around to do so.
Mate, I don't even need a friend. I don't need you to be there for me. I don't need forgiveness or acquittance or whatever. I'm not asking for you to bear any burdens and I want that to be clear as day. I hope not to even shake or stir any negative feelings you may have regarding the situation, though I'm aware I may be doing so, but I just need to know you're okay.
Guess this as close as it gets.
Yours truly,
Salad.

2023.03.20 23:04 axlain deplorable & disparaging
She asked me, “why do you stay?” “What do you want from this relationship?” “What’s the point?”
I don’t even know anymore. I’m at a loss for words.
We’ve both turned into gross bastardizations of ourselves, so toxic. I know half of it is my fault. I can own up to it and fix it if you tell me how.
Why don’t you take ME with YOU? Don’t YOU want ME? I know you like to make characters for your stories, but rest assured when I said someone else’s name I wasn’t talking about you.
I just wanted to be treated like a person. Empathy. Understanding. Working WITH me.
You found it flattering when I compared you to my mother. I told you our history so many times. my other girl listens and pays better attention. I’ve known her for less time.
If only you knew that you reminded me of my mother because you don’t listen, you think I’m lesser than you, expect me to solve all your problems, and you hurt me. (I don’t hold hate for her- that’s just the reality of the nature of our relationship)
You never listened. You never cared. You let me know that I was “so fucked up.” You let your silence speak because you knew it would be the safest way to hurt me and not have me fight back.
I’m so tired of fighting.
We didn’t make those notes together. Your hands clicking on your keys.
I wish it was beyond the fact that you’re a nice piece of eye candy, that I still want you, and I thought your friendly exterior was true and indicated good intention.
(Seriously. You look like you lost some weight. You look like a heroin chic model. You’re gorgeous but I really hope you’re eating enough and being healthy. Not just starving yourself.) (I really had to take a double take when you stood up, my eyes went right to your bubble butt and it was like everything was in slow motion. Even to my most attractive interaction, this has never happened to me. I felt like my eyes were gonna pop out of my head with my heart pounding like a cartoon. I’ve seen porn and good asses and drawings. But you’re so much better, even better than something artificial designed solely to be sexy. The way the light shined off that thing. AWOOGA!) (I kept looking at how uneven your mask was because it was bothering me. I feel like a dick now, I should have told you. It’s kind of like having something stuck in your teeth right? Or maybe it’s just because you want me to look into your eyes.)
You give me no benefit other than making me aware of my body’s changes. I can’t take heartbreak and major life changes now.
I’ve had vivid dreams before but my senses are usually nulled to some extent. I saw you, you kissed me aggressively. The first time I’ve felt something that felt so real. The first time I tasted something in a dream. I remember my first thought was, “you had coffee didn’t you?” I don’t know for long I can live on memories, desires, things we both want and can’t do.
I’m in a new state with nobody I know and feel so alone. You are my only constant. Even though I’m just a sex object to you at best.
Break my boundaries and get off on the fact that you can hurt me however you want. Why can’t I break away?
I only don’t leave you because I know I’ll find something worse. And I can’t risk that, I don’t want to lose myself again. And always be blamed because I’m not normal. I know I’m not perfect, hell, I’m terrible sometimes. But I wish you helped me through that. You didn’t ridicule me and boast about how you’re so much better.
You remind me of my first relationship. I didn’t love him. I was wild about him though, I didn’t want to let go.
You show me you want me. If it was a good gift, I would have given it to you. What kind of crazy person gives another a garbage bin? Either you think I’m crazy, or just insanely petty. How we’ve known each other for so long, and you still don’t know me. Fuck, come get me. Let’s release this tension.
All of you makes me feel so damn unpretty.
I’m lost. I’ll see you in another life, brother.

2023.03.20 23:03 hariya29 Random Mutation and Natural Selection
I just started studying about evolution and found
this on YouTube. This person explains how there are random mutations in the nature and how natural selection explains the perseverance of the best of the lot. He gives an example of a cricket who's wings made a sound and got hunted by parasitic flies and how in 20 generations they developed soundless wings.
My question is how this change got triggered. This change points more towards an imminent danger and necessity to produce noiseless wings as their survival is dependent on it. This doesn't seem like random. It is like now there's a need for change and the change happened. What biological process triggered it? Hope my question is clear. I would highly appreciate your response on this. Thank you.

Time flies so fast, it’s been almost 2 years and it somehow still feels like yesterday since we broke things off. How have you been, sayang?
Isang taon na rin mula nung huli tayong nagkita at nagkausap. Alam kong meron ka ng girlfriend ngayon, but I’m still here. Stuck with the memories you left me. There were so many things that I wanted to tell you when we last met but I held back because I thought I’d still be given a chance to see and talk to you. But I wasn’t. Kaya here I am, writing this with the very little probability you’ll ever read this.
Akala ko kasi, okay na ako. Na nakamove on na ako sayo. But, nothing could really measure up to the days we’ve spent together. How could I forget you when you were the one who was there when I was at my lowest? You’ve seen all my ugly scars and yet, you still chose to kiss them. Even on those boring days where we would just talk about silly stuff, masaya na ako. I’ve missed you for the longest time and I don’t know how long will this keep going.
I remember, kapag we have a shooting, I’d take a photo of you to be part of the BTS so people could see how hardworking you are. Pero ngayon, ayun, hinahanap na lang kita sa bawat behind the scene ng film na ginagawa nyo and I’ll say, I’m very happy and proud of where you are right now. Sinabi ko naman sa’yo noon na I’ll keep supporting and loving you from afar and I’m keeping my word.
Mahal pa rin kita, Xy. Kahit maiksing panahon lang yung pinagsamahan natin, I’m grateful I got to experience your love.
I still wish we could’ve tried a little harder. Maybe in another life, we’ll make it.
Till we meet again, direk.

2023.03.20 23:03 DistressedBug I hate time travel
They keep transporting me to different timelines and I am so so sick of this. I want the timeline to go back to normal. I do not like time travel. I find it quite frustrating. They are taking all my time away from me and forcing me into different spots on the timeline. They have taken a whole year from me. They have ruined everything. I DO NOT WANT TO TRAVEL ANYMORE. I want to go back to normal. I want my life back. How can they have taken my life away from me?
I cannot believe that everyone keeps listening in on me. My whole apartment building is spying on me and listening to all my thoughts. They have put cameras in my vents with the man who lives up there. This is quite frustrating. I wish this would end.

2023.03.20 23:02 dmbf How to casually wear a dress? Or how to choose casual dresses?
I love the idea of dresses. I have several. I’m sure by my question you can guess how often I wear them.
I’m a wfh/sahp and I like the whole, one item, bam, put together. Just add earrings, bam, even more put together.
There’s only one I wear regularly. It was a gift and claimed to be a “nursing robe.” It worked for that purpose, but I still wear it with bike shorts and no bra whenever it gets warm enough. It’s black cotton with big orangey pink flowers (which are normally not my jam), with gently style buttons, and a drawstring waist. It’s 7 years old, otherwise I’d just post a pic.
I’m looking for recs or inspo for a similar vibe. Kind of laid back but not lazy (morally neutral) hippy thing? Preferably natural fabrics, but, ya know, I take what I can get.
I’m hour glass shape with all the curves, including belly, and wide shoulders. I think stuff with a waist looks best (also helps with the no bra situation). It’s so hard to guess how stuff on Amazon or other places will look if there’s no review posts.
