Should a second marriage be as important as a first?! My fiance and I will be getting married in October of this year (2023). We have both been married once before, to other people. Already our wedding has had so many sad and disappointing turns, and it hasn't even happened yet! My MOH was my brother's fiancé (mother to my beautiful niece), but she dropped out!!! She said she can still be in the wedding party as a regular bridesmaid, but it was too much stress to plan my bridal shower AND hers and my brother's wedding (which is also happening just a bit before mine). I was, understandably, sad about this but I also could see where she was coming from. I gracefully accepted, and then appointed my soon to be sister in law as my MOH. After assuring me she could handle this task SHE TOO dropped out as MOH! She said she would still do the roll, but couldn't plan anything that was the MOHs job. I was so angry and heartbroken that the women I thought were special enough to be in my wedding party couldn't come through for me! The other major issue is that my groom (bless his wonderful heart) has been dealing with family that doesn't care! We have a small budget and an even smaller circle of family and friends we'd want around us for such a sacred day. So imagine, you only invited a small amount of people and almost half of them won't be attending! No one in his family seems to think this wedding is a big deal! We assume they think, because it's his second wedding, they don't need to take it seriously! He's heartbroken at this! Our wedding is only a 50 minute drove from the town his entire family lives in! There's no reason they should miss this wedding! My family is spread out and most live about 2 hours away depending on traffic. They all still plan to be there! My fiancés PARENTS are the MAIN ONES treating this wedding like it's not important! We rent our home from them (as they have many properties they rent to people), and his dad continues to treat us like it's just a waste of perfectly good rent money in his eyes. To clear one thing up, he has no idea how much we are or are not spending, so therefore has no idea if we're wasting money! (Luckily my aunt and grandmother have graciously paid for many of the larger priced items for the wedding, saving us from going broke!) It's so easy to just say "F them, we'll be fine without them", but it doesn't make my fiances heart hurt less! We are completely, madly in love and everyone can tell! My family and our friends are all overjoyed to see us both finally happy with our true love! We just don't understand why (mostly his parents) don't care! His parents have seen him struggle time and time again in his previous relationship, and yet they show no support or happiness in seeing him Finally happy and loved the right way! What do we do? How do we move forward? How can I help him to hurt less?

My boyfriend has a good friend, and him and his girlfriend are having a baby soon. Although our boyfriends are closer with each other, we got to know each other better through our boyfriends. We hung out with them for a while when we first started dating but after a few years it slowed.
We never had a conversation about it or agreed to stop seeing them or anything like that. That’s why I didn’t understand why I was so anxious, panicked and averted to attending their baby shower once we found out they were pregnant a year or so later.
Then I remembered a time when we had heard that these two got into a domestic dispute. She hit him for spilling hot food on their bed and promptly called her father to their home to essentially jump the man she is now having a child with. He did not press charges once the police arrived, they stayed together, and the next big thing to happen between them was the conception of their child. I know I don’t know all of the details so I won’t and cannot judge. All I know is that he made her angry at what I’m assuming was a bad time and he paid the price for that.
A big reminder of what it was like growing up with my mom unfortunately. Didn’t realize it reminded me until much later.
I was extremely overwhelmed by the idea of attending their baby shower. I didn’t know why but the shame of physically not being able to force myself to go was ruining my life for months. I felt terrible and ashamed for being as afraid as I was. I didn’t realize merely hearing about that incident triggered me until my friend mentioned that this may be the reason I don’t want to see them again while they’re in the process of having the baby.
We didn’t go to the baby shower. My boyfriend assured them that we have a lot of shit going on in our lives right now which is why we couldn’t make it, which is true. I’m currently in treatment for PTSD and he’s been working to the ends of the map all year. Still got them gifts and everything. I still feel extremely guilty for making assumptions by seeing my mom in her. I feel sympathy for my moms mistakes in life so I feel compelled to feel the same about this girl. The last thing I would ever want to do is compare her to my mom and how my mom treated me. I understand we’re in two very different parts of our lives but I hate that I’m making my issues hers without her even knowing it.
I know there will be a day where I have to face her again. I know it’s soon because we have a mutual friends wedding coming up. I don’t want to feel this way the next time that happens. I’m currently in somatic therapy trying to find some ways to cope and live with my triggers. I’m also trying extremely hard not to feel guilty for separating myself from what feels like an unsafe position. I feel selfish but I know my body and mind is just trying to keep myself safe and out of harms way. I’m trying to show myself kindness because of that.

Not sure if I should contact CRTC but I tried to get the new promo they have 20gb for $50. They told me that it's not applicable to me because of my history. The only thing I can think of about my "history" is that I was insistent that my services were all in English.
The rep didn't mention much and only said "due to this you are not eligible for any discounts or promos".
Are they allowed to do this? I haven't been too keen on their services since I started but only stayed because of their prices.

As a veteran cod play I love the implementation of ranked Play! But the execution on the other hand is a little to be desired. At the off chance of any devs looking I have a pretty laid out list.
First I just want to say that if these issues get fixed I think it would make for a greater general experience and increase player base (imo).
I hope somehow this gets heard and is taken in a positive note. I do enjoy cod, but there's too many problems to be overlooked.

- What's with the chat audio? I play on PC and I can't tell if anyone in my team or the enemy is muted. It doesn't show an icon and sometimes even if they are muted I can't even unmute them. But what I don't get is that it's not an issue in pubs.. or any other cod.. ever.
- Get rid of the auto draw if someone leaves. You had it right the first time! It should just be no sr loss for the team with only 3.
- Fix the server issues.. If you are going to ignore point 2, than at least fix the server and general app crashes. I got 3 DC's last night not related to my own internet.
- Hacking. Literally just too many hackers. I thankfully don't run into too many but with friends at higher ranks they seem to get them often enough (with video evidence, not just random hacker accusations)
I hope somehow this gets heard and is taken in a positive note. I do enjoy cod, but there's too many problems to be overlooked.

However, IF the debt ceiling news shakes the market enough we could see a bigger push down to 414.55 demand or even 410.2 demand (support) to retest that support first. Took this car everywhere from Los Angeles (a couple of times), to Portland (countless times), to San Francisco, to Vancouver, BC, to Cascade mountains, to Ocean Shores, to Long Beach and daily driving, totaling 35,329 miles driven.
Was skeptical about electric vehicles, especially battery degeneration but so far, it seems like the battery is still very healthy.
How do I know it’s very healthy? With a small sample from today’s driving, drove 183 miles and the car consumed 38 kWh. With an efficiency of 207 Watt hour (Wh) per mile. Averaging 60 mph and outside temp about 70 F. Blastoise has a 75 kWh battery pack. Math breakdown: With an efficiency of 207 Wh/mi. 1 kWh = 4.831 miles. 75 kWh x 4.831 = 362 miles. On a good day, this car can still travel over 350 miles in one full charge. Now that’s amazing!
In larger sample size. Blastoise traveled 35,329 miles, averaging 239 watt hour per mile and consumed a total of 8,430 kWh. After driving all four season in various weather conditions and driving conditions, in one full charge, Blastoise can go about 313 miles. 45 miles less then an EPA range of 358 miles. Approximately 87% battery life remain. But that number is arbitrary. I expect during warmer months the efficiency will be better and the battery degradation will improve. All in all, this 2022 Tesla Model 3 is absolutely amazing!

So the thing is I (22M) attend the same class as this girl (25F) but we didn't have the chance to talk before last week. As we were leaving we got to know each other just a little and it turned out we live in the same campus. So we took the same tube and we talked longer. She told me that she just moved in so I gave her some tips and sent her links to some WhatsApp groups that she may find helpful. She also told me that she needed some hardware for her room and I said I might me able to help with that (as in finding her something that's affordable because a new one is a bit pricy) On the same day I wrote her that I found what she was looking for, for a much cheaper price (from my roommate). She was suspicious at first because it was cheap and questioned if it will work in her room. I assured her that I tested it in my room and it works totally fine. And it was cheap because my roommate bought it some time ago and is not using it. We arranged to meet a couple of times so that I can give it to her but she was in a little vacation last weekend so it wasn't possible. Today was the last one, we were supposed to meet in the Campus after Uni but before 10 minutes she texted me she met a friend on her way in and asked if I can bring it tomorrow (when we have the same class).
I'm getting the feeling that she thinks I have bad intentions or something. Or am I reading too much into this ?

So we bought a house a few years ago that has a basement (first-time homeowners), and just started having issues with the sump pump. Unsure when it was last replaced but some paperwork we have around the house allows us to guess around 2016. Not bad, could probably go a few more years, but if we have to replace it that's totally fine.
Starting last week, we started hearing a loud clunking sound from the sump pump in the basement and it sounded like it was trying to clear water over and over but there wasn't any water to rid of. With it connected to a battery, we unplugged everything, removed the negative and positive off the battery to get it to stop. Plugged everything back in after the water rose a bit overnight and it all started working properly again.
Of course, we call out for service to get it looked at, knowing we are probably best to just get it all replaced and fitted properly. Totally prepped for the payment, etc., and of course, they give you 4 options of varying degrees by replacing just the sump pump and PVC pipes, then everything including the battery and backup system. Total estimate at max was $3500.
Looked up prices of everything estimated for and total of all parts would be about $1000. My father-in-law has done this multiple times in his basement and can easily do it himself in a few weeks. Problem solved there.
Question - how do we feel about particular brands for sump pumps? Is there one suggested over another? We currently have Basement Watchdog (from Home Depot). Family saying that our house (which sits just above a pond) likely sits on a high floor for water (sorry, not super handy), if that makes sense why it clears water 3-4 times a day without rain?
Here's what they provided we should replace with and said it is top of the line option:
Pro 2400 pump and control
1/3HP primary pump
two 1 1/2" MIP's
2 quiet check valves
