So there's this guy that lives an hour away that i met at a party a few months ago. We both liked each other and he messaged to say he was interested and we should hang out. The next time we did hang out was with our mutual friends (planned by them) but we decided that it was technically a date and he reiterated he was interested. He took initiative to ask me to do other stuff after and we went out together.
We made makeshift plans to see each other in a few weeks when there was another event with friends on and to hang out beforehand just us, but when I messaged him (i left it only til on the day to see if he would message first) it had slipped his mind and he couldn't make it because he was with family. He was really sorry about it and expressed a desire to make solid plans for future.
Now one of our mutual friends is coming here for an event and suggested asking the guy to come too since it's something he'd enjoy.
We really clicked which is why I don't want to let it go, but it seems like I'm putting in a lot of effort. I think the guy prefers to be more off grid and not message much and he was clear that he was interested, but is that too many red flags? He doesn't have much experience in dating and i think he's a little shy and there is the distance too, but i did like him and he said he liked me so i'm confused.
TLDR - should I ask a guy out on a date again?

- I am a guy in my mid 30s that has had 2 previous marriages, one that was long and mutual split and one crazy had to get out of there one (Like she ran and is wanted by the government type) Anyway, I have mixed health issues, meaning that I'm no picture of perfect health, but I'm not unhealthy or having difficulty, but there may be issues in older years. I've been all over the dating scene and don't really have trouble getting someone to like and date me. Honestly, i do have lots of good qualities to offer, too. I'm not rich, but I get enough to get by with a couple of extras on the side.
- So I found this lovely woman who we get along really really well. We share so much in common and I honestly feel very strongly about this woman. I know I can spend my life with her, but the issue is that I'm not really attracted to her. Like I'm not repulsed by her, I think she is cute and I do have a somewhat attraction/fettish for her ethnicity and glasses wearing. But call me shallow, but she is a little bigger than what I feel comfortable with. Like not massive, but more, for lack of a better word, a nugget. I know I'm horrible, but seriously, everyone has different attractions, right? I'm completely attracted to everything about her except her size and she is trying to get healthier, but I know that she will always have a build. For example, when we get intimate, I'm not repulsed, but I kind of just sigh in my head and think about many other slim women I've been with. I know again I'm not painting a good picture of myself here, but again, think about the fact that everyone has like and dislikes and everything except this is awesome.
- For those thinking, just break it off here is the issue, I have not only committed time introducing her to lots of family and friends, but we now have a house purchased in both our names and pets. Being in my mid-30s, I feel like it would be horrible to try break this off and I know the older I get, the less likely it will be to find someone that I can feel 99% with.

I was recently diagnosed with H Pylori and I'm now on the third day of an antibiotic course prescribed by my general care doctor. I'm going to visit a GI a week or two later but I'm wondering about my current condition. I'm 18 and I think I've had H pylori for a very long time but I didn't pay much attention to it until some symptoms that I never thought of. I developed so much brain fog that I can't remember anything. I can't even remember dates and think like a normal person. There is inflammation in my nose making my breath wheezy, on my eye brows, between my neck and my head that feels like making my neck a bit hard to move, and on the top back area of my head too. I don't even dare to have an MRI of my head. About my nasal congestion, I visited an ENT and tried various medications but none has worked besides Afrin that the doctor sprayed with his bottle with a longer tip inside my nose. I tried Afrin that I bought but it seemed to not work because it might not have penetrated my nose as deep as the bottle my doctor used. Taking the current medication that my general care doctor gave me made my brain fog ease up a bit but I don't know where this will take me. There has always been gastritis in my stomach but it made me have shortness of breath recently, I think combined with my chronic dehydration. This has also decreased a bit after I decided to drink from half a gallon to a gallon or almost 4 liters a day so I won't feel like being choked when I'm in a lecture hall and taking the medication . Normally, I unconsiously squueze my stomach in otherwise it would feel quite bloated and hurt from it but this has also improved a bit since I started taking my medication. I think my shortness of breath is partially due to my stomach pushing up my lungs. I took an Xray too but the report said my lungs look normal. Is my condition not normal? Can I get some advice? I don't know anymore
