Welcome to the subreddit dedicated to the artist Burial. Releasing records under the pseudonym "Burial," William Bevan comes from South London in England, and is one of dubstep's most enigmatic artists. With home made chopped up beats, swooshing synths, and haunting modified vocals lifted from an eclectic range of pop songs, he brings his listeners back to a time when hardcore, d'n'b, 2step, and house music dominated the London underground club/rave scene.

2023.03.20 21:04 WestTualityHabitat Volunteers help clear a future home site in rural Washington County to help West Tuality Habitat for Humanity

On this past Saturday, volunteers for West Tuality Habitat for Humanity spent the beautiful day - the first one we've had in many weeks - cleaning up a lot in rural Washington County, clearing a great deal of brush and vines, putting in fence posts, building fence panels and otherwise prepping the site for eventual building. Thank you to these volunteers from Pacific University (in environmental studies) and from the St. Francis Catholic Church in Roy and Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Verboort, as well as our core group of Habitat house-building volunteers who joined them. Here's more info on how to volunteer (not all volunteer with West Tuality Habitat takes place outdoors and construction experience is NOT required).

West Tuality Habitat for Humanity is a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International and was formed in 1991. It is a 501-c-3 charitable organization which develops and builds homes with local community members in Western Washington County who are considered low-income.
Habitat houses are built primarily by volunteers. For West Tuality Habitat, there is a core group of volunteers with advanced construction skills who work at least three days a week on Habitat projects in Western Washington County. These core volunteers are regularly joined in the work by families that have qualified for home ownership through Habitat, as well as volunteers from the community.
In addition to the affordable housing program, West Tuality Habitat also has a critical home repair program for low-income seniors, military veterans, and people with disabilities, allowing them to remain in their homes and age in place. West Tuality Habitat also operates a ReStore in Forest Grove, selling gently-used, donated furniture, appliances, home furnishings and leftover building supplies. These sales help fund its Habitat activities in the area.

2023.03.20 21:03 666Ashfire666 Should I Try and Get Back With My Ex Even Though Everyone Says They’re Toxic?

Ok, so for some background information, I’m a teenager, so is my ex, I know it’s stupid to assume I’ll never get over someone I dated a while ago, but I’ve never felt this serious about anyone. I met my ex in school during the ZOOM era, when the pandemic hit, before they had mentioned they had a crush on me, I had been on and off with people ages ranging from 1 to 5 years older than me. I had just broken up with a boy I was with when my ex told me they had a crush on me, I shoved it off since I’m very self aware and I knew it would be stupid to engage in another relationship after I just finished breaking up with someone else, and in my head, I told myself that if we dated or if I even responded, it would most likely ruin the friendship. I was never one to easily make friends, I don’t normally get along with people my age, I get along more with older people, and sometimes younger people, anyways, I decided not to say anything, but after a few days, I began to realize that I had feelings for them. I decided to see if they would pass since that’s usually what happens, instead, after a few weeks, the feeling seemed to become stronger, so we ended up dating, I remember messaging them and having no idea how to properly communicate it to them, they seemed to find it cute. Anyways, we were on and off for 3 years, mostly because I would break up with them and they would just keep acting like we were together and eventually we would just kind of drift back together. This was mostly due to the fact that I was very messed up at the time and craved any kind of affection from others, not to mention I was cutting myself at the time and I was suicidal and depressed. My family never did anything about it and if anything, hastily encouraged it, my ex was very sympathetic and would talk to me and actually took me to the nurse the first time they saw the cuts on my arms. That was the first time I had actually been approached in a way where it didn’t feel like I was in trouble and more like it was just someone who wanted to help. In the end, I ended up ghosting them, badly, I was confused at the time but now I can positively say that we were both toxic in the relationship. I would make up stupid scenarios or meaningless experiences just to seem like I wasn’t just some nobody, out of fear they would leave me, it ended up doing more harm than good (obviously). I would constantly question the relationship and if they actually loved me or not, it was actually the last time we broke up on the 3rd year that I was actually the one to ask if we could get back together. They ended up moving away and once they did, I immediately kept spouting a lot of stupid things trying to justify why I was breaking up with them before ghosting them entirely. I did realize later on this was the total wrong way to go, but I really wish I had figured that out sooner, the things is, I was actually pressured to get away from them, every person I speak to keeps saying that there are better people for me out there and I shouldn’t just settle or that they were taking advantage of me. I don’t agree with them though, in reality I think I’m the jerk that really messed up when I had something good, some of the things I will say, would be a few of the times that my ex made me feel just a bit odd about the relationship, they would make physical contact with me even when I said no. I think they were probably just not getting the message due to bad communication on my part, I would also get them a lot of gifts, no matter what, and the most I’ve ever gotten from them was a default gift for Valentine’s Day. The best thing about it was the personalized card deck, and by that, I mean a random puppy themed card deck from the dollar store, it felt good at the time but now I look back and wonder if they just picked it randomly or genuine got it out of good judgement. They also liked to write, and I would do the same for fun, only, whenever I would talk about my works, they would ask to see it and immediately comment on what I could fix, I just said people wrote in their own ways and they continued to criticize my work, it wasn’t things like how it was worded, or grammar errors. It was more on the storyline or certain things that happened in the stories, that offended me because I’ve never been criticized on my stories, and as a child that would get criticized for just being me and liking the things I did, I have to say, it hurt to hear that from someone who I felt I could actually trust. Not to mention, that whenever we would talk, it was always them, they would often say things more than once, but I didn’t mind it, until I began realizing how little they were listening to me, often forgetting things I’ve mentioned. I would just dismiss it since not everyone has a good memory but, even while I talk to them, they don’t make eye contact with me, they just stayer phone while saying they’re listening to me every now and then. The main thing that gets people telling me that they’re toxic is the fact that they would hit me randomly, I guess it was their version of fun. They began drifting away the last year we were together, I noticed and I thought to myself that it would be a good plan just to treat them nicely until they left, I did so, then lost it and broke up with them and ghosted them after they mentioned keeping a long distance relationship. It did feel a bit bad since they are polyamorous and they’ve had multiple long distance relationships that they prioritize. After realizing my mistake, I recontacted my ex and simply asked if I could clear up some things since I repetitively apologized, not that really does anything. so they let me exp,Ian myself and every now and then I send them a message hoping they’re well and wishing them well off. However, I did simply think I’d get over it right away just like every other relationship, only to quickly realize, this wasn’t just any relationship and I really messed up. It’s been like 4 months and I still can’t seem to get over it, I think a few more months might do it, but if it doesn’t, I’m not quite sure what to do then. I’ve just been sitting around and feeling terrible, I do want to try and go back with them but, I know that i’m a terrible person and shouldn’t, so I’m just stuck on what to do. I’love appreciate any advice I can get since there’s no one in my life I can really sit down and say this to without them saying,”Why do you even still talk to them, they were terrible to you” or,”Fine just crawl back to them, it won’t be any different.” So I’d really appreciate something true.

2023.03.20 21:02 BourbonGamer How did I do? 2023 Sonata SEL

Sold my 2019 Elantra value edition 45,200 miles for $17,600 to Carmax who paid off my remaining $3422 I owed over 13 more months @ 4.29 % (payment for $251)
Took the $14,158 and put it in my bank for the down payment on a 2023 sonata.
Had pre negotiated with two local dealers and got an out the door price of $28,798
MSRP $29,070 Savings $2,627.78
Price $26,442.22 Tax $1,569.79 Processing $699 Lic & Rec $87
Total $28,798
Down payment of $14,200
Financed $14,598 @ 0% for 48 months
Payment is like $304.12
I hated to get rid of the Elantra but as it was our pre child car and CarMax was offering almost MSRP I paid for it back in 19 I kind of felt crazy not to.
We needed a bigger vehicle and probably could have made things work but ultimately decided the timing was as good as it was going to get for maximizing my current vehicles value and getting the best deal on the Sonata now that things have cooled a little bit.
Quick question, how do dealers figure sales tax? In KY I thought we had a 6% rate but I couldn’t make sense of the tax number for either dealers written offer.

What You Get

Phase 0) Digital Economics 101

The Digital Economics 101 module will open 1 week prior to the cohort start date. This is an onboarding module that will get you up to speed so we can get straight into the material. This will be required to finish before the start date.

  • Gain a deep understanding of all of the pieces in the digital economy.
  • Learn about the future of media and code — the front-end and backend of the internet — so you can focus your efforts.
  • Understand digital leverage, distribution, no-code tools, and digital assets so you can take part in the mental & financial wealth transfer.

Phase 1) Creating A Meaningful Niche

Every day I hear people going on and on about trying to find their niche.I also hear people talking about how they don’t know how to combine what they love talking about with what will sell. You already have the answer. You just don’t have the clarity.

  • Develop a long-term strategy to create your own niche — meaning you don’t have to worry about your “competition” playing status games.
  • Discover your life’s work, curiosities, and obsessions. I see too many people that are uncertain about this for years.
  • Cultivate and turn your vision, goals, and values into a brand that attracts an audience you love interacting with (and that will buy from you, and only you).

Phase 2) Content Strategy

There is one thing that separates those who make it in the digital economy and those who don’t.It’s the quality, articulation, and perceived originality of their content. The content you post has to make sense to the people you attract.Everyone has a different voice and tone that they resonate with. That they are congruent with and trust. It has to change their thought patterns or behavior — that’s what makes you memorable. That’s what separates you from the sea of people posting surface-level copy-cat style posts.Example and putting my money where my mouth is:

  • Become an expert-level speaker or writer on the topics you care about.
  • Never run out of content ideas for your posts or promotions (without using content templates — that’s how you stay a commodity).
  • Create posts, blogs, tweets, images, and videos that resonate with other’s on a deep level. People will actually ask you how you got so good at what you do.
  • Separate yourself from the ocean of B-tier creators that struggle to sell their products, services, andhave their ideas stick in the head of their audience.
  • Implement our Epistemic Research Method — which is just a fancy way of saying scientific research method… but it’s for researching your mind to craft brilliant content and product ideas.

Phase 3) Crafting Your Offer

Most people are sitting on a goldmine of skills, experience, and knowledge (that they can use to help people 1-2 steps behind them). That is what people pay for.Considering 95% of the market are beginners… if you are good at something, you can help them get to your level (no matter how “basic” you think the information is).Do you not watch basic content all day anyway? People don’t want new information, they want to be reminded of what works.

  • Use our Minimum Viable Offer strategy to start monetizing immediately (and have something to improve over time, rather than procrastinating until it’s perfect).
  • Have a strategy for reducing the time you spend working over time (as you build leverage and improve your offer).
  • Know how to create your own customers from the audience you are building, instead of “finding” the right customer for your offer.
  • Take the guesswork out of building coaching, consulting, or digital product offers.

Phase 4) Marketing Strategy

You aren’t making money because you aren’t promoting yourself or your offer. That is literally the only way to make money. Have something desirable and consistently put it in front of peoples’ faces. In Phase 4, I will show you how to systemize, automate, and be consistent with simple promotions. You will be able to make money without having the chance of forgetting to do it (or letting fear of failure get in the way).

  • Learn to sell on social media, in your writing, and across different platforms.
  • Have consistent sales coming in while focusing on your meaningful message (no need to sound salesy all the time).
  • Learn advanced automation strategies that you can implement at your own pace, especially once you validate your offer.

Bonus) The Creator Command Center

The Creator Command Center is a Notion template that houses all of the systems. This is how you will manage your brand, content, offer creation, marketing strategy, and systemized promotions for consistent sales.

Bonus) Live Product Build & Launch

In the first Digital Economics Cohort, I built out my course The 2 Hour Writer.I have videos showing how I build it with the strategies in phase 3 and 4.There is a bonus module that shows how I had an $85,000 launch that resulted in my first $100K month.I did this to prove the strategies inside Digital Economics work if you stick to the plan. And, this past Black Friday, I blew my that monthly high out of the water in 4 days. That’s the power of these strategies if you stay consistent with your life’s work.

2023.03.20 21:00 dreadfulol Can we just step back for a minute and actually assess what this partnership means for the entire web3 gaming ecosystem. A budding new form of gaming is coming and GameStop is positioning themselves to be a big name in it.

Can we just step back for a minute and actually assess what this partnership means for the entire web3 gaming ecosystem. A budding new form of gaming is coming and GameStop is positioning themselves to be a big name in it.
Let's all take a breath and try to understand why this was called a "legendary" announcement by Robbie.

What Does it All Mean?

Immutable is building a new protocol for gaming NFT's called Immutable zkEVM. Powered by Polygon.
https://www.immutable.com/products/immutable-zkevm
This "zkEVM technology massively increases transaction speeds and reduces prohibitive fees while remaining compatible with Ethereum and retaining its robust security model."
https://polygon.technology/blog/introducing-immutable-zkevm-powered-by-polygon-the-home-of-gaming-in-web3-in-partnership-with-immutable
" By combining the #1 web3 gaming platform – currently serving hundreds of game studios and millions of players – with Polygon’s best-in-class zkEVM technology, we are building an Ethereum-centric gaming ecosystem that is poised to take Web3 mainstream and bring digital ownership to millions of people around the world, "

Why This Matters

This is THE next step up in mass adoption of web3 gaming by players around the world. This enables developers to:
  • Easily implement custom smart contracts
  • Create gameplay mechanics based on smart contracts(you will see some creativity here)
  • Build advanced tokenomics in their games (giving players stake, and giving reason for developers to continue to support and improve their game)
  • All with keeping the L1 Ethereum security
Think of this similar to what Epic Games did with Unreal Engine and democratizing game development. You no longer need to rebuild crypto/nft integrations into your game from the ground up. You can just utilize the tools provided by Immutable and Polygon to focus on building your game.
We also already saw the Immutable/Unity integration. Next step is Immutable/Polygon/Unreal Engine integration. It's only a matter of time.

WHAT ABOUT GAMESTOP???

This partnership is putting a brick on the gas pedal for web3 gaming. Guess who is positioning themselves to be at the forefront of providing for that ecosystem. You guessed it, that one company we all love, GameStop.
As the NFT Marketplace continues to develop, we will see seamless integration with Immutable/Polygon and access to everything trading there. It will provide an influx of volume and GameStop will be getting a cut of any item traded from any game on their marketplace.
They also are able to develop new ways to bring people to their marketplace over others, as well as utilize their NFT marketplace to bring people in stores. Think being able to claim and NFT from a physical item you purchased at GameStop. Or purchase an NFT and claim it at a store for a phsyical object. etc etc.
GameStop will be able to leverage creative ways to drive sales through their marketplace, as well as to their physical locations. The sky is endless in what kinds of innovation can happen here.
So YES, a partnership that is going to drive the web3 gaming scene forward in a big leap is most certainly related to GameStop in a positive way.
This whole thing is thinking big picture, and I'm happy GameStop is working on positioning themselves in this space as it continues to rapidly grow.

Calm Down and Enjoy the Ride

When things like this are announced, try not to just parrot everything you see being said, and take the time to do a little bit of research to try to understand what this all means.
Yes, I understand when the CEO of a company hypes something up, it can turn out to be simple "marketing hype". But the fact that Robbie called this technical partnership "legendary" carries some real weight. He is the person at the forefront of this tech with a very deep understanding of how it all works, and what this means for the future of web3 gaming. If he is this excited about a new technical partnership then there is a reason.
Feel free to discuss, share your thoughts, and please correct me if I got anything wrong. I'm not a web3 and don't have an extremely deep understand of how exactly all of the tech functions, but I believe I have a good idea of what the future holds and how this tech will be used in gaming in the near future.

2023.03.20 20:59 pharmer25 Is buying a house with a parent a good idea?

My parents separated about 4 years ago and subsequently sold the house in 2021. Since the sale I’ve been living with her and her new boyfriend (we’ve been renting, haemorrhaging money in some respects), but she is frustrated with cohabiting with him and wants more space - with our lease up in a few months, it’s time to think about it.
She suggested that “we work hard and buy a house together”, on paper it makes sense as she won’t be able to get a mortgage at her age (54) and I (25) don’t have the capital required for a deposit. However I’m having major reservations about going down this path. First and foremost, we don’t share the same goals - she’s planning towards retirement whereas I’m looking at establishing my career, having dealt with a lot of mental health issues and bouncing around a couple dead-end jobs after graduating from university. Secondly I’m concerned by her approach with money, spending somewhat frivolously on luxuries we don’t really need, because she is convinced her MLM-type crypto investments (look up Cashfx and Hyperfund) will come good, based off her trust in a friend who quit his job off the back of his success with it. Last but not least, I would like to have more independence and feel more control over my life, having felt very isolated living at home for what feels like an eternity.
I know I am in no position to buy a house, not even close, without significant help. What I’m wondering is, if it would be a mistake to not take the opportunity to get on the housing ladder as soon as possible rather than maybe 5-10 years from now, IF I meet a partner. What’s for sure is that it’s important to have this conversation with my mum sooner rather than later. Has anyone bought a house with a parent before? Is it likely to turn out well?

2023.03.20 20:58 easy_im_old Power BI as source for Excel datamodel?

Hello, im wondering, if there is a way to create "database" in power BI and then use it as source for Excel data model. Example: every month, i receive excel file with roughly 200.000 rows. I want to connect it to older file and create sales history. This wil continue untill eternity, and excel capaciry is for 5 months (1 mil rows). However, i like excel as analyzing tool and therefore would like to combine power bi's ability to store data and excel ability for user friendly interface. I was able to import all data to power BI and refresh it with new data set (creating one big combined table as future data source). And save the file. . But im not able to figure out, how to use it as a source for excel data model (power pivot->manage->from other sources... gives no options for power bi).
thx

Hello, I haven't played retail wow since WoD, and am thinking about getting back into it. I played classic and BC classic but got burnt out in WotlK. My questions are
  1. I want to try a new class as I've never played monk, demon hunter, or evoker. Which are the most fun for leveling, bg's, and dungeons? (Don't care about min/maxing for arena or raids.)
  2. I'll get the base 50 dollar game cus I don't care for paid cosmetics or lvl boost. Is now the time to buy or will a sale be coming soon?
  3. How is leveling in the old expansions? I want to play through legion, BFA and Shadowlands as I level up to quest and explore the zones. Is it good exp? I plan on doing some dungeons too to add variety.
Thanks in advance for the help!

2023.03.20 20:56 NanaSag84 Gaining custody of boyfriend's dog

I wanted to know if there are any lawyers who would help me legally obtain ownership of a dog:
My boyfriend had bought our dog, Rocky a year ago when he was a puppy, and I have become very attached to him and Rocky has became attached to me as well. I have everything under my name: pet insurance, registered in my hometown, he's registered as my emotional support dog. I still have not got around to micro chipping him or making him a full service dog just yet. My boyfriend, who will be my soon to be EX, has made it known numerous times that I am responsible for the dog but the jerk he is he does make comments to me and other people by saying that he bought our dog for $5,000 but he does not give a crap about him. He does not want to walk him, feed him, bathe him or even buy supplies for him. He cancelled the pet insurance that he had for him and told me to get the insurance under my name and take care of him. He refuses to be responsible for Rocky but is quick to me comments that he paid for him.
If I have a lot of documentation showing my name and showing that I basically raise and take of Rocky will that give me custody of him?
I want to end things with my boyfriend but I want to take Rocky with me.

2023.03.20 20:54 GovernmentDoingStuff Your Guide to Thursday's Sweet 16 games

In order to gear up for the Sweet 16, I have put together some profiles and matchup previews of Thursday's action. I will hopefully have the same for Friday's games at some point tomorrow! In the meantime, lets enjoy another day of women's hoops and NIT games tomorrow.
Game 1: (3)Kansas State vs (7)Michigan State
Team Profile: (3)Kansas State
KenPom: 21
T-Rank: 23
Major Contributors (usage on at least 24% of possessions): Markquis Nowell, Keyonte Johnson
Kansas State is one of the biggest surprises of the 22-23 CBB season. Their two-headed monster of Nowell and Johnson led Kansas State to 9 quad 1 regular season victories. K-State, despite being one of the shortest high major teams, brings the 17th ranked defense in the nation into this game. The Wildcats like to play an up-tempo style of offense and get their playmakers to the rim. They are a team that relies heavily on points in the paint and point at the line rather than a 3pt centric offense. Kansas State is also 7th in the country in assists per made field goal, making them one of the better passing teams in the country.
Team Profile: (7)Michigan State
KenPom: 25
T-Rank: 24
Major Contributors: AJ Hoggard
Michigan State is a team that has been on deep runs before, including a trip to the Final Four as a 7 seed once. AJ Hoggard has once again been one of the best guards in the Big 10 and the nation. Michigan State is a team that is lethal from three, though they attempt about 5% fewer threes per game than the national average. They play stout defense, but are really bad at forcing turnovers. Michigan State has the single hardest SOS of any team left in the field, this includes three non-conference games against tournament teams. MSU likes to slow the game down and run this offense through Hoggard in the halfcourt.
Game Profile:
Spread: MSU -2
These two teams are very different in their style of play. MSU likes to slow it down, play in the halfcourt, and create open jump shots. Kansas State likes to run and get quick buckets or free throws by driving towards the basket. Look for K-State to make constant runs at the hoop and try to force MSU into turnovers. The key to the game for Michigan State is to keep the ball safe and make their open three point shots. For K-State, they need to force turnovers and get some of these MSU bigs into foul trouble.
Game 2: (4)UConn vs (8)Arkansas
Team Profile: (4)UConn
KenPom: 4
T-Rank: 4
Major Contributors: Adam Sanogo, Donovan Clingan
The UConn Huskies are a lethal 4 seed to say the least. They possess the 3rd best offense in the country led by two behemoths in Sanogo and Clingan. Part of their success is the 2nd best offensive rebounding rate in the country. It provides them with a lot of opportunities for 2nd chance points. Look for UConn to try and play bully ball over their opponents, especially teams that lack size
Team Profile: (8)Arkansas
KenPom: 18
T-Rank: 18
Major Contributors: Nick Smith
While Smith has a lot of draw when healthy, he has been anything but in his freshman season for the Razorbacks. Arkansas’ bread and butter is their defense. They defend the arc incredibly well and utilize their athleticism to create turnovers. They shoot terribly from three, but have so many ways to attack the rim and create layup opportunities for their playmakers
Game Profile:
Spread: UConn -3.5
Arkansas is a tough matchup for anybody with their athleticism. I am looking for them to be aggressive in taking it hard to the rim. Mission number 1 should be to get Sanogo and Clingan in foul trouble. Arkansas also needs to be efficient making their shots and fight hard for defensive boards so rebounds don’t become a huge advantage for UConn. The Huskies meanwhile can spread the floor with two big athletes in the middle. Open threes are going to be hard to come by, so UConn is going to need to use their size to their advantage. Something they have been very good at when it counts. If this game features whistle happy refs, this will really give Arkansas the help they need.
Game 3: (4) Tennessee vs. (9) Florida Atlantic
Team Profile: (4)Tennessee
KenPom: 6
T-Rank: 5
Major Contributors: Olivier Nkamhuoa, Josiah-Jordan Jones
Tennessee has overcome a crushing injury to Zakai Zeigler to find themselves in the 2nd weekend. The Vols bring with them a ferocious defense that is currently ranked #1 in the country. Tennessee refuses to give up easy threes or really any easy buckets for that matter. Offensively, this team has been very up and down as they often rely on 2nd chance points. If Tennessee wants to continue this run, they are going to need Finnish stud, Nkamhuoa, to lead this offense.
Team Profile: (9) Florida Atlantic
KenPom: 22
T-Rank: 31
Major Contributors: Johnell Davis, Alijah Martin
FAU is a very well balanced team. It’s hard to find anything they don’t do well besides consistency in hitting their free throws. With so many ways to win, they have amassed 33 total wins compared to just 3 losses. That being said, they aren’t elite at any one thing either. FAU runs this offense through two outstanding guards in Davis and Martin, both of them are still just sophomores. FAU likes to score from beyond the arc, they have 4 guards that shoot between 37-40% from three. FAU is also one of the shortest teams in D1.
Game Profile:
Spread: Tenn -5
FAU is going to want to score the three ball, but that is extremely hard against a Tennessee team that can flat out dominate the three point line defensively. Tennessee is going to have to get creative to hang with FAU’s ability to score. FAU’s keys to winning this game are going to be maximizing scoring opportunities against a great defense. Meanwhile, Tennessee has to find a way to score enough to beat such a talented and well rounded team
Game 4: (2)UCLA vs (3)Gonzaga
Team Profile: (2) UCLA
KenPom: 3
T-Rank: 3
Major Contributors: Jaime Jaquez, Tyger Campbell
UCLA is an experienced and unbelievably talented team. Led by two seniors, the Bruins are one of the best teams in the nation on both sides of the ball. UCLA excels in turnover differential. They take good care of the ball while forcing the 11th most turnovers in the country. They shoot well from three, but prefer to generate offense inside the arc when possible.
Team Profile (3) Gonzaga
KenPom: 7
T-Rank: 8
Major Contributors: Drew Timme
Gonzaga brings the number 1 offense in the country to this game. They can score inside and out with veteran big man Drew Timme leading the team. Gonzaga plays quickly and has an uncanny ability to generate open looks and opportunities down low for Timme. The Zags have a lot of question marks on defense which despite a historically good offense has held them back from the elite status we’ve grown accustomed to seeing from them.
Game Preview:
Spread: UCLA -2
This very well could be the best game of the Sweet 16. Gonzaga is going to have a hard time defensively, but I’m very excited to see how this offense performs against a very good UCLA team. On the other hand, UCLA absolutely has to get the scoring going in this game or they are at serious risk of ending up down a lot of points. The Bruins do boast a terrific defense though which will need to step up to keep the Zags from lighting up the scoreboard.

2023.03.20 20:54 PHONtheDON Can you not play as the whole team in face of the franchise??

So I got the game not too long ago cause it was on sale…and I made a player in FOTF (face of the franchise), I chose running back as my position and then I became a halfback for the cowboys…I was locked to only playing my character…and as much as it was cool for abit the cpu fuckin sucks…I come back the next day and my file is saved as QB for some reason and it was only leveling up points as a QB so I can to delete it and make a new career…after I made the new career I chose the chiefs cause I was level 78 at this point and got a better deal…the first game I got the option to play a full 60 min game and I was in control of the entire team including defence!
So I deleted that profile cause I wanted to see if it would work while I was on the cowboys and it was just make me super sim all over again…
Is their no way to just play as the full team in this mode ? It would be so much better if I can control the defence and the entire offence…
If someone can help with this, that would be great

2023.03.20 20:52 Mission-Art-2383 Advice on which SDR position to take!

Hey all,

Would appreciate some feedback on selecting a job between two options as my first tech sales position.

First is in public affairs management. They've been around a decent amount of time and have a very structured 2 year training plan with lots of education and oversight. tons of different solutions- much more complex sales cycle im guessing.

Second is a insurance management tech company. Pretty new and just ramping first SDRs because they have so many leads they only needed AE's before now. I'm thinking if I'm halfway decent I could likely exceed quota here pretty quickly given its breaking into an industry and has shown exponential growth.

Base is similar startup is slightly higher. OTE steeply higher for the startup. Curious if most people would think it's insane to go with the startup instead of a more well established company with training culture.

Would love to discuss a bit more specifics if anyone is open to messaging.
