| Map of current world powers (current year 2100, last updated 2060). The greyed-out nations still exist, they just aren't extremely influential. TLDR: This is a world me and a couple others have been working on for a while. It's a setting taking place in and after 2100, when a couple of scientists successfully create a device capable of generating portals to other universes. Too long, but read anyways: Essentially, throughout the 21st century, things have been going a lot better for the world. Since the end of the Second Chinese Civil War in 2038 and the creation of the Unified Republic of China under the revolutionaries, creating the first successful *truly* communist state, and the reunification of Korea, the majority of wars throughout the world start to simmer down. Large Criminal organizations like the Cartels in Mexico, The Mafias in the US and Italy, as well as the PCC and Comando Vermelho in Brazil, society as a whole becomes much safer, and the UN, mostly through the US and the URC, is able to devote more effort into helping overthrow the theocratic societies in the Middle East as well as negotiating peace between warring countries in Africa. After Putin's presidency comes to an end, the Russian Federation also becomes more and more democratic and establishes much better relations with the rest of Europe and the West in general. Corporations also begin to lose power, starting with the invention of Nuclear Fusion reactors by Chinese scientists and the US beginning to crack down on corruption and corporate influence on the government. Eventually, companies are reduced to researching inventing, and manufacturing new technologies, such as Mass-producible carbon nanotubes, single-stage spacecraft, and simulated brain stimulus for true virtual reality. Other technologies, such as atmospheric filters, are able to aid in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions(along with the new clean energy produced by fusion reactors) as well as being used to help with the gradual terraforming of Mars. The EU has already began to send construction materials to Mars in order to construct an airtight city-like colony, with many other powers having similar projects in the works. Various regions incorporate further into unified groups, such as the EU becoming a federal state, and Brazil creates the South American Alliance, which eventually transforms into the South-Central American League, which also eventually federates. Seeing this success, the NAFTA countries in North America decide to try something similar, creating the North American Union, which is also on it's way to becoming a truly federal state. Using newly engineered materials as well as funding from all the major world powers, the United Nations funds a project to construct a Space Elevator in Western Kenya on internationally owned land, where the elevation is suitable. They also build up a city at the base, which they name Anga, and the city quickly booms in population and becomes the UN headquarters, colloquially known as "The World Capital." This also brings a lot of political weight to Kenya and elevates its status globally. This is the state of the world when, in 2098, a pair of scientists manage to create a device that can create gateways between worlds. The UN has prepared an expedition, after many tests with unmanned probes have been conducted, to make sure a particular calibration for the device leads to a breathable, earth-like planet. Essentially, we want to gather a group of worldbuilders to create the worlds that they visit, as well as the characters that visit them, and the politics and wars and everything else that comes with such a project P.S., sorry if the grammar or structure of the text is hard to read or makes no sense sense, I tried to condense the world at large into a a single post. 2023.06.06 03:43 turquoise404 Husband unhappy with the appointments
I (32f) had what most likely was a miscarriage around Memorial Day weekend (Saturday night). Since then my husband (32m) has had to drive me to various appointments: an ultrasound, doctor's, and two blood tests, one of which was right after the doctor's appointment.
I also got bloodwork done the Friday before I miscarried to confirm my pregnancy. Today I did the second blood test mentioned above right before my orthodontist appointment. It's been a lot of driving the last 10 days. My husband has needed to work after hours to make up for not being at work during the day. I definitely understand why he's not happy.
As to why I don't drive, I didn't need to learn in my home country before moving to the US with my husband. Since we both work from home and do everything together, we didn't feel the need for me to get my license for the first few years.
Fortunately, I finally got my learner's permit last year and we're looking into getting me driving classes this year.
Anyway, he's not happy that I tried to make another doctor's appointment for this week. I had only been seen once since the miscarriage, and all the doctor said was to do the bloodwork. I haven't talked to her since, but I've done two tests now.
I can see all my results on the patient portal. The test to confirm my pregnancy showed my HCG count at almost 3000. The second one, a week later was a little over 6100. And today, four days later, it was 5955. I can't help but worry that something is wrong and I need to talk to a doctor about these results.
We compromised and made an appointment for next week, Tuesday. I thought that was all over with, but he still seems pissy about it and I no longer know what to do. On one hand, I understand why he's upset, but on the other hand, I feel like I should see a doctor again.

2023.06.06 02:45 tigerlock17 30F Abnormal Pap/LSIL/Negative HPV
Hi everyone I’m 30 years old and just had my first abnormal pap result. It was positive for LSIL (low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion) but I tested negative for HPV. I had the HPV shots and my last pap was September 2020 (normal).
I’ve never had an abnormal pap and my mind is jumping to the worst. I haven’t talked with my doctor, she just added a note to the online portal that this is common and she recommends retesting In 1 year vs the recommended 5 years. And to eat well, get rest and increase folic acid to support Cervical health. Everything I’m reading online is saying basically LSIL is caused by HPV so if you have LSIL you have HPV. I’ve also been vaccinated against HPV, does this mean it didn’t work or I got unlucky and it didn’t cover this type of HPV?
Is it possible that one or both of the tests are incorrect? Should I get retested or get a second opinion and have my results sent to another doctor? I have so much anxiety surrounding my health and I don’t think I can just sit around and wait a year to see what happens. I also haven’t had kids yet and now I’m worried this might impact everything. Has anyone had anything similar happen? Am I freaking out for nothing? Thank you to anyone who has read this far or has any advice

2023.06.06 00:17 Single_Complaint8311 Hiv online results
Hello. Just got an HiV ab/ag screen along with a bunch of other labs drawn Thursday. Everything resulted back already and is showing up on my patient portal except for the HIV test. Called the lab and they said everything resulted and if a lab was not showing up, a doctor had to share it with me. I contacted my doctor but have yet to hear back. Currently freaking out. Is it standard that HIV results don't show up on patient portals, specifically in CA? Or is the fact that it's not showing up indicating a positive result? Please help

2023.06.05 23:22 KikiRampage Canada Greener Homes Grant and Loan 2023
In my research into the Canada Greener Homes Grant and Loan programs and processes, I found a lot of out of date information, and although I'm in the midst of the processes right now, I wanted to share an updated experience timeline (which I plan to update as things progress) to help others who were in my position trying to figure this whole thing out.
Some information about my situation: I live on Vancouver Island in BC, I own a duplex with my husband and we only decided to pursue either of these programs because the other side of the duplex decided to upgrade all of their windows and patio door to triple pane. After consideration before and during the processes, we decided to only proceed with these upgrades as the heat pump hot water tank seems to be a mystery to a lot of plumbers that we spoke to and one of the quotes we received for that was over $7,000 with us not getting a decent chunk of that back through the grants because we were for sure proceeding with windows/patio slider and that ate into our $5,000 max in federal grants (even though we aren't using all of that with just the windows - 11 windows and 1 patio slider).
Here is my timeline:
March 24, 2023
- applied for Canada Greener Homes Grant through online portal
- scheduled pre-retrofit energy evaluation (booking approximately 2-3 weeks out at this time)
April 12, 2023
- pre-retrofit energy evaluation completed
- NOTE: The evaluation took approximately 2.5 hours and because we have dogs we decided to be out of the house for the entirety of the evaluation (especially because a blower test was being done and our senior pups wouldn't have loved all that)
April 24, 2023
- received finalized pre-retrofit report and portal upload confirmation
- option to proceed with Loan Application became available within 24 hours of receiving the portal upload confirmation
- NOTE: We had some correspondence back and forth with the energy advisor who was asking some questions that may have been otherwise answered had we been home for the evaluation, but the report was completed prior to the 2 weeks they quoted me that it would take
- NOTE: You will have to pay for the pre- and post- retrofit energy evaluations out of pocket and at the end of the process when you receive the grant funds, you will be provided up to $650 back towards those costs
- NOTE: We had some delays moving things along because we were working on getting estimates and the company our neighbours had used decided in the midst of finalizing our estimate that they didn't have the capacity to assist us and so we had to start all over again with another company
May 8, 2023
- received estimate documents from window company/installer
- Submitted Loan Application through the online portal
- NOTE: It is super important to have all of your documents ready when you are submitting the loan. In addition to the detailed estimate that we received, we also submitted the design summary showing the windows and patio slider being replaced. Other documents submitted were: Property Tax Notice, Driver's licence (front and back photos), employment confirmation letter, pay stub and a VOID cheque.
- NOTE: If your contractor or installer requires a deposit, it MUST be listed on the estimate. Our installer was nice enough to work with us as he normally takes a much larger deposit than 15% of the final project price, but since we were only receiving about $2,600 from the Canada Greener Homes Loan for the deposit, he made the amount we needed only $3,000 so that we weren't out of pocket for as much until the final funding of the loan. This is the only other item (so far) where we are out of pocket until the funding of the loan or grant.
May 12, 2023
- received email confirmation of loan approval
- received Loan Agreement
- signed and submitted Loan Agreement
- NOTE: After you have submitted the signed Loan Agreement, if you have indicated that a deposit is required from your contractor or installer, it is requested automatically. The deposit $ will be sent to you by wire transfer from Intellifi Corporation, who now administers the Loan portion of the program.
May 19, 2023
- deposit $ received by wire transfer
- NOTE: Your bank or financial institution may charge fees for the wire transfer, but those will be based on where you bank. Our bank for example charged us a $15 fee after the fact (that was debited from our chequing account) and then later a $2.50 transaction fee. In my opinion totally reasonable, but we didn't know it was coming, so good thing to check with your bank. Our bank also ended up calling me to confirm that we were expecting these funds, what they were for and would we be receiving another wire transfer in the future.
- had installer attend to confirm final measurements for windows and patio door replacement
- signed Contract with window installer and sent deposit $
May 29:
- received confirmation from installer that windows and patio door had been ordered, but the company that makes the windows to order said they are looking at a 2-4 month delay, so now we are waiting to hear back from the installer on when everything will be ready to install, but it could be a bit
MORE UPDATES TO COME AS THINGS MOVE FORWARD
MISC NOTES:
- early pre-payment of part of the loan does not adjust the payment amount, it will only decrease the amount of time it takes for you to pay off the 0% interest loan
- Since I'm in BC I will also be applying for the provincial grants in addition to the federal grants, so I will post more information about that process as I get to it
I hope that this helps someone in any regards as the information I had found online was saying that it was going to take months for the loan to be approved, and even for the initial application to be approved. Instead I feel like the process has been cleaned up quite a bit and timelines are a lot faster these days! The part that seems to be taking the longest is the actual making of the windows!
Stay tuned!

2023.06.05 23:09 Storms_Wrath The Human Artificial Hivemind Part 380: Poorly Effective Painkillers
First Previous Wiki President Blistanna left her kids with the Matron, an Acuarfar whose job was mainly taking care of the young. She walked through the hallways of her residence, quickly being surrounded by guards and shields. It was how things were now.
She gave her advisor a nod as he waited for the guards to confirm his identification. He walked through one of the recent mind scanners installed in the hallway, which covered the entire length and most of the height of it. There was no sudden alarm, and her guards didn't fill him with new entrances to his stomach, so she assumed he was fine.
"President Blistanna, I have good news regarding the new procedures. In the event of a hypothetical attack, the shields should be able to seal up, preventing anything from getting through."
"Good. And how successful were they at delaying the practice Sprilnav from reaching me?"
"They increased the time from five minutes to thirteen. Of course, that doesn't count the guards, who I'm sure would kill them before they got close," the advisor said. That earned him a few chuckles from around her back.
"There is a point of concern, though. The ceilings are being fortified with increased weaponry, such as lasers, but that doesn't account for the fact that they have a pretty good path to you from above. Assuming they break through eight floors of heavily reinforced kintum and concrete, they still could reach you faster, perhaps decreasing the time to two minutes, if they can quickly break through the barriers without stopping.
"How could they feasibly do that?"
"Kinetic weaponry, bombs, anything that can make the stuff move, really. Maybe an Elder would be able to dig their way through, like that pair of Dreedeen that ate through that section of spaceship hull in that contest."
"What?"
"You don't watch 'The Crystal Mouth'?"
"No?" Blistanna asked.
"Ah well. Nevermind. What I mean to say is that we should more heavily fortify the capitol. Recently it was discovered that the doors could be held up by a crowd of people trying to breach the place, and that the current Senate doesn't have enough personnel to prevent an all-out assault in that fashion."
She almost commented on the impossibility of such an action before remembering the mind control. They'd already been rooting out as many areas where it was spreading as possible, but it seemed to be far more than they could handle. Brey was also involved, which was why they were catching the people at all."
"And there has still been no evidence of this in the humans?"
"No. The hivemind is likely either directly protecting them, or the Sprilnav doing it fear the hivemind will detect it and are not doing it from the risk. Either way, the whole species seems safe."
"Could a Sprilnav clone a human?"
"Yes, and then implant the mind control. But the second a human connected to the hivemind saw them, the ruse would be up, as the hivemind would know it was a human that was unconnected."
"But that's not grounds for arrest, in and of itself."
"These days, it's still a mind scan at least. If this were some other public health crisis, like a pandemic, it would make the counterarguments have a bit more weight. But mind control, where people are literally converted into slaves, can't be tolerated. At least, that's what the other humans I've contacted for sources say."
"Even the journalists?"
"Yes. I am somewhat certain that the hivemind itself has communicated the danger of this to each and every human under its control."
"But there would be outliers. Deviants, thrill seekers."
"Not really. Mind control isn't something that many humans like, morally. And if it is, usually it's them who would hold the power, not the other way around."
"Well, I suppose you are more qualified to discuss this than I am," Blistanna said. "Just curious, that's all."
"President Blistanna, there's nothing wrong with your questions. Healthy skepticism helps to keep us from believing everything we hear."
"I heard you mention a pandemic earlier. How's the situation in the Inukjuak region?"
"The inoculations have been created, and are being administered. There's a significant amount of infected people still, but the worst of it seems to be over. We identified it coming from an alien animal that had been illegally imported to the Queen Elizabeth Islands."
"That's a long way."
"Yes. It's amphibious, with various odd features. But its thick fur hosts a virus that is infectious. Several of them were captured in a petting zoo that has since been closed down."
"And this virus itself, it does not have any long term impacts?"
"Not that we know of. It seemed to mostly affect the skin, and could be contracted by close contact and sometimes blood transfers. The problem with identifying it initially is why it was able to spread so far, since there are many Guulin getting blood transfusions that likely had it in their system."
"So this was a healthcare oversight?"
"No. It's closer to the equipment being calibrated for certain ranges, and the virus itself was remarkably similar to some other bacteria in the Guulin body that helps it run. So it was technically barely on the edge of the range, but the equipment wouldn't have detected it unless it was calibrated differently. And with other medical checks, the virus was also almost identical to Guulin immune system cells."
"Is there any evidence of intelligent design?"
"Still no. If this was the Sprilnav, they'd likely make it far more lethal. Our virologists speculated, when asked, that they would first make a virus that is as lethal as possible, then as easy to spread as possible, likely with a significant asymptomatic window involved to further the spread. And while it seems difficult, three speculated that they could make a virus that could spread between species even that have fundamentally different genetic code."
"That seems impossible," Blistanna said.
"Yes. But with tissue samples and cloning systems, they could trial it until they got results. And things have been quite recently, so it's possible they might try this as a vector of attack. There's precedent, with what Kashaunta did with biting the hivemind."
"But we wouldn't be able to prepare for that, until it happened, would we?"
"We do have significant numbers of masks available for Guulin. The initial doctors that we had available were raising hell with how cramped the cities are, at least in terms of population density."
"People seem to have enough space, though."
"Yes, because the skyscrapers are vertical. But what they meant is so many people able to interact. Some of the most deadly human pandemics hit populated areas harder, like Nigeria and India. Not to mention the climate diaspora into Eastern Russia and of course Canada and America. They cited these as examples to watch. And there aren't good numbers for how the slave camps were, but there was quite a lot of disease there, if I remember correctly."
He did, most likely. Blistanna sighed. "Has the number of attempted assassinations decreased?"
"No. It's actually been increasing for Izkrala, and for Dilandekar. The hivemind's with them at all times, now. And of course, we have our invisible friend joining us also. As for you, President, there have been no increased numbers at all."
"I don't like this. Things are too quiet. What about the Cawlarians and Vinarii? Any oddities such as pandemics, increased unrest, or assassination attempts?"
"Well, Kawtyahtnakal's guards killed a Sprilnav trying to kill him about eight weeks ago. Nothing since then. Unrest, yes, pandemics no. The unrest is likely Sprilnav mind control attempts to disrupt them."
"Keep watch on that, too. I don't think a massive virus is as likely as a mind-control attack, considering the evidence we have."
"I shall inform your people of your wishes."
The advisor turned to leave.
"Wait," Blistanna replied. "The virologists and doctors. How often are they getting scanned for mind control?"
"I don't know. Shall I make getting them all scanned my priority?"
"Yes, do so. Politicians who haven't gotten the scan yet as well. Military officials, news casters, journalists. Everyone that has a major influence on a core tenet of society."
"Only the journalists are part of those who seem to be resisting the most heavily. Most of the others are compliant. Though I do think this may increase the fears of some who accuse you of being authoritarian."
"I understand. Inform them of the risk, politely, if you can. I'll have my media advisors do their best to convince the public of the concern. We're going to be increasing the blood test standards for donating blood, too. Tell the NHS officials that we may have a serious situation here. Granted, I may be overreacting, but the possibility of this likely hasn't only come to us."
"President, I wish you the best." The advisor turned and left, this time without her stopping him. She looked at her guards.
"How likely do you think an attack is?"
"That depends. I think the Sprilnav are going to send ships to hit us, soon. But if they don't then the mind-control is the best measure after that. Gaia and the hivemind would be able to stop a pandemic if it started to kill people off."
That made sense to her. There was enough money for the increased caution right now, anyway. The Guulin Congressional Republic was currently militarizing, so covering all the other bases would be a good option too. It was up to the Guulin to help crew the massive military of the Alliance for when Aphid sent another attack. With both the Cawlarians and the Alliance pressuring him, he'd either leave or fold. Either way, the problem of Aphid would eventually solve itself. But the Sprilnav were an active threat. It might be good for the Alliance to go through every species' list of war crimes, so they could prepare for the Sprilnav to try them.
Calling the hotline with Kashaunta wasn't necessary until they'd confirmed a threat, at least. The fewer chances she got to manipulate them, the better. And even if she was an enemy, she also had a window into Sprilnav society that no one else had currently. No one who was accessible, at least.Because something was going to come eventually, and they needed to be ready.

"I think this is putting too much strain on your body," the hivemind said, frowning at Izkrala after her latest visit to the hospital. "I don't know what you're actually doing to yourself, but I can guess that the side effects aren't good."
"You can, can you?" Izkrala replied, scowling at the bed underneath her, which seemed perfectly positioned to keep her arms and legs from being able to move her body. She was large, but that didn't mean that this was any less accidental. Someone had done this on purpose. When she got to them, she'd...
"Yes. I'm not trying to be rude. I just care about you. You've been doing whatever this is for weeks now. It's clearly affecting your psyche."
"Perhaps what's affecting my psyche is the fact that a quarter of my military somehow vanished after launching a coup against me."
Izkrala had been tracking them with sensors for a while until they really had just disappeared. The only way it would have likely happened at this point was that several of the Acuarfar watching them were mind-controlled. Initially, they hadn't been blamed, as it really had looked like a sensor malfunction. Then they'd vanished too.
Whether they were dead didn't matter to her, but she did want to get her revenge on whoever was responsible. She had her doubts that Kashaunta and this 'Zelisloa' actually had a rivalry that was real. Otherwise, she would have pointed them at him earlier. And it did seem quite convenient that none of the recent actions from the Sprilnav against the Alliance were attributed to her.
If Izkrala had to guess, they were being misled. Zelisloa was probably working under Kashaunta and was being used to take the fall if he was caught. Then he'd die quickly, leaving her with a somewhat better relationship with the Alliance than before. Or at least, that was likely her plan. After biting the hivemind like some animal and trying to kill everyone several times, Kashaunta was on the 'kill if seen' list for the rest of her life. And it would stay that way.
"That's fair," the hivemind said. "I don't think I would be as stable if I was undergoing this procedure."
"Lying to make me feel better only works if I don't know it's a lie, Humanity," Izkrala replied. "What I need is a painkiller that will actually work."
Her cybernetic eye fixed itself upon it, and she did her best to move again. Project Paragon might have been enhancing her psychic energy, or at least making it so she could control it, but it was clearly not feasible widescale. And it was only possible due to the experiments the Acuarfar had done at her behest before she'd joined the Alliance. The hivemind might know that her psychic energy control was increasing. But it would never find out the truth of the project.
"Well, I do have good news. I managed to come up with a composite that will allow you to fly again."
"What is it?"
"Your wing, sort of. I requested some of your genetic material from the Emperors, and they gave it to me when I told them what I planned."
"And you didn't consult me?"
"I assumed that you would refuse. I wanted to help you, and they are also considered as part of those who could disclose your health information. If you are unhappy with this, I will simply destroy what I have made."
She sighed. "No, don't. I'd like a real wing again. Can it mend with my own?"
"That's the hard part. The cells that I designed for it should work. But that's not satisfactory."
"What would you say the chance is of successful mending without additional side effects?"
"98%."
"I'll take it. But what are those side effects?"
"The cells becoming uncontrollable, in which case they will likely form a mending structure that is not smooth enough, which will make flying with that wing either harder or more painful for a while."
"More pain. Of course."
"So that's a no?"
"It's a yes, hivemind. Do it. And... thank you for this," Izkrala said honestly. "You don't have to go out of your way to help me. There's many more that need it."
"True. But you're a person too."
"I'm not really more important than anyone else. Sure, I like to say I am, but I'm not. Unless you're focused on getting me to do some favor for you. Because if so, that's pretty mean. You wouldn't do that, right?"
"I don't think so."
"Good. You know, in another life, we might have been mates."
"What?"
"What? Wait, did I just say that? I'm still drugged, aren't I?"
"Your bloodstream has broken down the main compounds, it seems. But... yes, I think you are. That said, I'm flattered that you think so highly of me," the hivemind replied. "But in the here and now, you have your Emperors. And I think that's plenty."
"Oh yes. I'm not sure how the males manage it, really."
"Manage it?"
"The multiple mates. It's fairly traditional for males to take at least two mates, due to the increased birth rate of females to males. It's not like how those human 'artists' like to portray it, either. For us Acuarfar, carrying eggs is like... having a suitcase attached to you, which is almost too heavy to lift, and barely movable. Did you know that according to the history books, Acuarfar invented the wheel to make platforms that help females whose eggs are gestating?"
"I suppose I had the knowledge somewhere in here," the hivemind said, tapping its head. "It is an interesting fact. That said, I'll wait until you're stable to ask you about my current questions."
Curiosity immediately overwhelmed Izkrala, and she tried to get out of bed again. She was glad that the hivemind wasn't smiling at her as she did so. This felt incredibly demeaning.
"Can you at least tell me what you've been doing? One thing. Please?"
"You might forget soon."
"Forgetting isn't one of the side effects of the painkillers I'm on. Even if they're more like pain punchers at this point. Not doing very much killing, I'm afraid," Izkrala said. The hivemind smiled slightly.
"Come on! That was funny!"
"Somewhat."
"Maybe being a billion people all at once makes you unable to grasp my genius."
"Well, 16 billion actually. But perhaps it does."
"Well, stop stalling. Hivemind, tell me what you've been up to."
"As you wish, Empress Izkrala. I've been working with the wanderers mostly. Stopping crime among humans by talking them out of it, and getting them the resources they need. I've been discussing negotiations that Phoebe's been having with the Cawlarians, and we've started negotiating with the Vinarii again.
It seems that a few people on one of the colonies have some sort of new sickness. We've been studying the proteins of that one, and it seems that they opened an ancient vault about five days before. Oh, and making bigger guns, bigger ships, better factories, and the like. Trying to put together some sort of structure to how exactly the Sprilnav, Source, and these conceptual beings work, in addition to the various lesser powerful psychic entities like Exii'darii and Gaia."
"Tell me about the wanderers, then."
"Well, most of the diaspora has concentrated into communities again. The ones that left their ships have developed a desire to breed as many children as they can. I think it's a core value of theirs. Their children are rarely seen in public, though, both on the ships and in their planetary communities."
The hivemind conjured up a chair and sat down, still in view of Izkrala's cybernetic eye, without her having to strain herself.
"And also, on the ships themselves, there's been some developments. I've been spreading the news of the Alliance's amenities and rights, which seems to be working. More wanderers are leaving, and taking their families with them. But what worries me in particular is the ones who are asking us to give them guns and ammunition. Most of those are the older ones, especially those with the tumors already growing. As for those, I can't even heal them, not even with psychic energy. I was planning on asking you to provide mediators for a future conflict, like impassive forces that don't take a side but help refugees and civilian victims. Medics, caretakers, staffing for food distribution, the works."
"So the wanderers are about to have a civil war?"
"Some are. The ships are each different. On some, the suspected revolutionaries far outnumber the police and soldiers stationed there. On others, they're very rare and almost nonexistent. A few of them have simply disappeared, only to be found beheaded later on."
"So they're killing dissidents. That seems like a valid excuse to intervene."
"Yes. But sadly, it isn't. The Alliance agreements are still weak. If we were to do that to the wanderers, it would set a precedent. If your future descendants do the same, then the same problem could happen to them. Basically a big civil war. So it's either doing nothing and watching people die in a war that hasn't fully started yet, or doing something and setting a precedent that could get a lot of people killed. Civil wars are messy. The wanderers' situation is likely the easiest to safely enter, actually. All the other species have massive populations or are on a planet, leaving room for countless pockets of dissidents and asymmetric warfare."
"So how many wanderers are going to be beheaded before you do something? You're not technically a part of the Alliance. You do not answer to any military authority, same with Brey, Phoebe, Gaia, and such."
"Yes, I do."
"You do because you want to," Izkrala said. "You could decide to wage a genocide on the wanderers, and we couldn't do a thing to stop you. The only way to even kill you is to kill 16 billion humans first. You're the problem the Alliance will have to solve. Not leaders like me who want power. But entities like you, who everyone knows has it. The Alliance right now is only capable of surviving as an opposition entity to the other big nations of the galaxy. And if that doesn't become enough, everyone in it fractures, and we each die alone."
"I'm not so sure about that."
"Alone and in pain, unless the Sprilnav happen to bomb you while you're sitting near someone else."
"They haven't yet."
"You've disarmed tens of thousands of nuclear bombs on hundreds of planets, Humanity. Let's be real here. Without Gaia providing detection, Brey providing portals, you providing power, and Phoebe providing locating services, we'd all be long dead by now."
"Well, we aren't. And I don't think pessimism is helpful here."
"Pessimism is how empires are built and run, hivemind. That's what makes politics churn. It's why we're going to kill Yasihaut and Kashaunta, instead of trying to somehow fix them. Because even if it's possible, it would require several lobotomy records being broken. Being pessimistic is putting yourself in the mind of your enemy, asking yourself the worst they could to, making it worse, and preparing for it. Pessimism is realizing that Humanity is the core of the Alliance, and without your species, we would all be lost. It's realizing that I can't have eggs anymore without doing it some fake way. It's reality, Humanity. Time to start living it."
"The drugs are still in your system."
"Oh please. You know I'm right. Plus, I've been far higher than this and still coherent. Have you ever gotten to the point where you could smell colors with your hands, or taste the sun with your stomach? Have you ever tried to jump with your eyes, bite an animal that doesn't exist, or hear the voices of dead people?"
"There's a few humans who have gotten to that extent."
"But you haven't. It's their experiences, not your own."
"Not really. Being a hivemind means that their experiences are mine, because I am them and they are me. That's how it works."
"Unless you only think that's how it works, and you don't know. For all you know, Kashaunta's just been a projection this whole time by Yasihaut as a way to get us to go after the wrong Sprilnav. For all you know, Kawtyahtnakal died back then, and you raised something else from the dead. For all you know, the Sprilnav made a star send a gamma-ray burst to hit us in a few seconds. Pessimism, hivemind. Optimism is what gets you betrayed by your own generals."
"Optimism whispers hope into your ears and hides the dagger about to be shoved through your back. I'm a broken and ruined Empress, trying to cling to the beauty and splendor that is my birthright. I'm a useless carapace hiding a girl whose dreams of a unified and happy have died on the altar of reality. Don't you dare think you know what this is like. Humans don't have Empresses anymore. You can blame a parliament, or a congress, or a senate. When the Acuarfar look up, and the skies are burning, their eggs are smashed, and the strength of my Empires crashes down, they can blame me, and me alone. Because I failed."
"You did not-"
"Silence, hivemind," Izkrala replied. "I was not done. I am nothing anymore. You can go ahead and install your stupid new government into my Empires when I die. It won't make a difference in the end."
"You shouldn't lose hope. You can still lead."
"I can't even get myself out of this stupid bed. How can I ever lead my species? How can anyone? My own people don't even trust me. I tried to save the Lurave Empire, Humanity. I tried. I gave them housing, order, food, clean water, and heating. I gave them jobs, gave them freedom, and gave them what strength I could. Could I have gone in and killed all their leaders one by one until they kneeled on the blood-soaked floor of the palace? Yes.
But I didn't. Because I had that hope. And they threw it away. They spat in my face, leaving me like this. 92 billion Acuarfar. They're going to die. They're going to starve, dying in the ruined worlds I could have saved them from, while spitting on my legacy. I don't even have words for how I feel about them. Drugs or not. Cybernetic or not. Their stupidity has transcended all bounds. Maybe stupidity's a concept too, and decided to pay us a visit."
"I can help."
"How? Unless you're planning on mind-controlling them, good luck. And even if you are, you'd have to dig out the Sprilnav versions first. Then you'd have to convince them that they actually want a good life."
"We could still uplift them, and help them. It just may not be unified with your two Empires."
"You don't have confidence in my leadership either. That's why you're saying this. Guess what happens when you try that? They become a big nation. Then they wage war on us, and your civil war policy doesn't let you intervene. You march in there and let them riddle you with insults and bullets until you get bored. See how it feels to be helpless then!"
"Empress," the hivemind said. Its hands moved closer as it stood up. "I'm sorry."
"Sorry for being wrong? Sorry for not understanding how the world works?"
"Yes. And I'm sorry if I've hurt you."
Its fingers brushed gently against the side of her snout. Her anger and grief receded, and she let herself lay back against the bed. The hivemind didn't do anything else and just stayed with her. Its eyes were sympathetic, and the sensation of her fur in its fingers was somewhat calming.
"Look," she said. "I'm sorry I yelled at you."
"It was deserved."
"It wasn't. I guess I'm really not ready to be out in public again for a while."
"You don't have to be. I'm sorry I didn't notice this sooner."
"I'm going to sleep now."
"Have a good rest, Empress."
"You too." she sighed. "I'm going to remember that, too. I meant thank you."
"You're welcome."

2023.06.05 22:45 iSnipedAgain [Spoiler] Question about the seasonal opening
In the seasonal opening we see Joxer try to enter the portal and unfortunately die.
My question is, is it explained in any of the lore why they sent a guardian and not like, a hamster? Soviets and the US used Dogs and Flies in early space exploration testing.
Did they go up the ladder before getting to guardian trials?
Just curious.

Hello friends,
I'm uploading some videos to the e Learning platform for a specific Portal user. I tested their log in, and for some reason I get this message:
Your Account has not yet been verified. Click here to receive a verification email and join this Community!
Since I'll be privately inviting people to this e Learning, they will already be verified. I'm not interested in solving this by setting up a outgoing email server at this time.
Is it possible to bypass this authentication for specific users? If so, which field is it?

2023.06.05 19:53 Riba-ribica NIPT positive for monosomy X
| Hello everyone, FTM here. Very grateful for this sub since it’s been the only information I’ve received since a devastating phone call on Thursday. I’m now very fearful, sad, and feel alone in navigating this confusing result. Would appreciate any guidance or additional information. I’m currently just over 14 weeks, took the cell free dna test through my hospital (not one of the branded tests, so I’m not sure if they contract out or white label..) at 12+5. That same day we had our NT scan which was normal (1.4), and we left feeling very excited and finally decided to tell our family and friends last weekend. Fast forward to Thursday I get a call from the obgyn office and am told that she’s aware we didn’t want to know the sex of the baby (which is true, we wanted to wait until birth) but that she has to share because it’s important to know since there is an abnormality. She tells us it’s a girl and our test came back positive for Turner syndrome, or monosomy X. She proceeds to tell us that someone from the MFM clinic will be calling me and she’s sorry to be the bearer of bad news… I asked her for the statistics of that specific test (since even then I knew screening for sex chromosome aneuploidy is not as reliable) and she tells me there’s only a 0.5% chance that it’s a false positive and we should prepare ourselves for some decisions. I didn’t get the actual test results in my portal until the next morning, which were minimal. The result left me way more confused as there was no additional information like I’ve seen on other tests, instead it just indicated “screening positive” and even the sex said “not reported” even though she told us it was a girl. Most other posts I’ve seen people receive a “no result” or a “high risk” with a PPV. Nobody has contacted us to go over these results since. I’ve attached a screenshot. I immediately got off the phone, cried, and then started doing my own research. The next morning I called the MFM clinic to schedule an appointment and get in for an amnio and was informed someone would call me back - I am still waiting for that phone call. Prenatal care in our city is in really high demand right now and I’ve been on wait lists for appointments.. I want to avoid that and make sure I get in for an amnio as I will be 15 weeks at the end of this week. I’m now feeling frustrated with the (lack of) information I was given, angry, and confused. And obviously very sad and full of fear! I live in a big city in the US and am being seen at a very reputable hospital/medical center, but I’ve had a very difficult time advocating for my care this entire pregnancy. I would appreciate any help interpreting this confusing test result, suggestions on how to get proper care from this point, and any advice on how to deal with this. I’ve really been struggling, the wait since Thursday has been agony and I know there’s much more “waiting and hoping” left to do. Thank you everyone 🤍 submitted by Riba-ribica to NIPT [link] [comments] |

2023.06.05 18:29 Platitude32 Is anyone else here essentially completely asymptomatic?
I went to to the Dr because I was feeling sick a couple months ago, and that lead me to being hospitalized while they did tests but even in the hospital I was more bored than anything.
Got diagnosed with Cirrhosis, (grade 1 varacies, portal hypertension) and they told me no alcohol, low sodium and kinda just said, "call us if you feel sick again, come back in 6 months bye."
Since then I've quit drinking and try to stay below 2g with the salt but even then I've kinda just been playing that by ear.
I feel like its a little unfair for me to complain given how difficult some people have it with symptoms, but I almost feel like its a huge, sick prank.
My stress levels are through the roof. I'm paranoid of every little thing now.

2023.06.05 17:30 Rolsan Anybody do Natera NIPT living in canada? Are we able to see the results on the portal or do we have to get them from our doctor directly?
Since it’s an American test I’m wondering if we can see the results on the portal? My doctor said that she will get my results and I wouldn’t have access to them.

2023.06.05 17:01 gurr23 Weekend review 9/10 Came in doubtful, came out a fan.
After following blizzards recent years through the legal issues, team overhauls, overwatch 1.5, all that good blizz stuff, I thought there's no way D4 is going to be a success. I tried the open beta and thought, ok that was actually fun, but they level capped it, so I thought they were just hiding a bad endgame. Then I got into the full game and realised I have an addiction to D4!
The good:
-The server opened early without any queues. I heard some people had crashes here and there but it was a flawless release on my side. Rare now-a-days. Full release may add queue times with the added players.
-Nostalgia. Something about D4 brings the essence of D2 back to me. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?
-Controller feels great! There are cons to it such as limited ranged spells but as a necro summoner its been fluid. Seeing as this is the first diablo to have a simultaneous console release I think they focused a little bit more on it this time around.
-Huge map! Lots to do for you open world explo fans. Some people are saying too much walking, not enough enemies, but once you get your mount and learn how to quickly mount dismount, you can fly from pack to pack and get around quickly as the boost recharges at a good pace and remounting gives all your charges back. Also you can pick items up and open chests from your mount. The events around the map seem to have a decent amount of variety, and usually you will see other players join in on the event. The warps are also laid out in such a way that you're never too far away from where you want to get.
-Combat feels gratifying. The pacing of spells feels on point to me. Resource management is something the game makes you focus on, but it seems there are multiple ways to gain your resource but it's something you have to factor in your build or you might feel lacking. Only gripe on the necro so far is that the golems ability is terrible with golem AI and there is no focus attack command for the minions. This might hurt my credibility but I played diablo immortal as well and their golem ability was spot on. It instantly leaped toward location only being blocked by walls and such but the body block on the golem right now is so bad when one of your priest skellys is standing in the doorway. Immortal also had a focus attack for your minions. Hope they add these eventually.
-Builds. There's lots of them. Even for the off meta. I'm playing summ necro, supposedly one of the worst choices but through aspect synergies it seems you can make any build work. While staying summ main, I've swapped a bunch of other skills and passives around playing and adjusting my build. I'm loving my class pick, and the fact you can be diverse in skill choices because of synergies.
-PvP. I didn't think I was going to get into pvp but ended up spending all of Saturday running plains of hatred. Already farmed up over 200k seeds of hate and have had a blast doing it. I really like the extraction process so it's not just a deathmatch in there, and I really like how the pvp rewards are cosmetics. I have killed around 20 people and died twice so maybe necro isn't that bad? I know we're all not endgame builds and no one is really pvp spec I would think, and peoples builds are all over the place, but it was good to know I could go in there and hold my own as a summ necro. I am curious to see if you can team up in pvp?
-Live patching so servers don't have to go down for a balance patch meaning much quicker response from blizz. Example, yesterday's patch. Downside of this is there could be less notice to the players of patches.
-Level up how you want. I'm seeing a lot of diversity as to how players are leveling up. Some are running every quest they see, some are only doing gold, or blue quests. Some people are mindlessly grinding mobs, some are running from event to event, and some are running pvp all day. It seems as long as you're in the game doing something you are progressing nicely. Even just explo gives good rewards such as gold, xp, skill points. You could level up by just riding a horse all day opening new zones. Looking at you equestrians.
-Art/ music/ graphics all are exceptionally polished except for the stupid red and green shaded mfers! Could have at least thrown a particle emitter to make them look ghostly or something.
-Itemization. Complex topic here. Very varied opinions. I see it as 5 phases
Early: Whatever item has at least one substat and is current item level.
Mid: Getting those same items with the aspect you want on them
End: Getting all the right substats with aspects
Endgame:Getting all the right substats max roll with aspects
Endgame+: rerolling the whole item for higher item level as you level.
The bad:
-Fix the damn horse! It is so annoying having to wait 1-2 seconds to move after mounting. It's not every time, but It's like I get caught on an invisible wall over and over and then all the sudden I move fine. Also this may be user error and I'm doing something wrong because i'm on controller? Other than that I really like the mount system. I just really think they should have put it at the end of act 1. Knowing there was a mount at act 4 made me rush the story to get to it.
-No overlay map. Nuf said
The in between:
-Balancing. I personally don't think it's bad. I view balancing in terms of mechanics as well as how big the numbers are. After my little time in pvp the combat mechanics felt balanced such as movement, cc, amount of barriers and such. They just need to find the sweet spot for what the numbers should be. I do think they should have internally tested and balanced more but new school blizz likes the community to be the balance team. Just to be clear though, there is so much in this game I have only glimpsed at the possible builds I could have fought so there may be other balance issues I haven't come across.
-Enemy variety. While there are a lot of mobs and bosses in the world I was surprised to see some of the same mobs from the starting zones in the later zones.
-The gems. Some people are saying we need a gem pouch. Unpopular opinion but I think it's fine. Usually by the time my bag fills up I have like 5-6 gems, 3-5 legos, then all yellow. I tp back sell all the trash, then stash the gems and any legos I wanna keep then head back out. Most towns have the smiths close for quick selling, but the stash usually is a little bit away. Again some people don't like this but I've found with the mount, town trips are really quick and it's not a huge deal to take 10-15 extra seconds to ride to the stash and drop off and ride back to the portal.
-Party questing. I know it's classic diablo to have the host campaign active but I feel like in 2023, if we finish a quest together it should be completed for me too. This is personal preference and might have something to do with how they coded the whole open world per player but just a side note. Not a big deal as I think people expect it to be this way but I was hoping.
TLDR: I thought the game was going to be hot trash, and instead it was hot as hell!

2023.06.05 15:55 DrRavineOfficial [Deep Sixed] Chapter 69: Back To Headspace
Sunny is going to bring back Mari, but there is a problem? They have to go to his Headspace to find a key component on Mr. X machine.
https://www.wattpad.com/myworks/312158558-deep-sixed One day, Sunny was sleeping, and he got a phone call from his mom, after a long time.
*Sunny's POV*
*Sunny's phone rings*
Aubrey: Sunny, would you turn off the phone?
Sunny: It just rang in the middle on the night, what's going on this time? *Checks phone* It's my mom.
Aubrey: You mean our mom?
Sunny: Oh, technically yes. *Picks up call* Hello?
Sunny's Mom: Oh hey Sunny, it's been a while since we talk to each other. So how's Aubrey?
Sunny: She's fine, but why would you call me in the middle of the night?
Sunny's Mom: I have something to show you. Come at the coordinates that I'm going to send you to the messages.
Sunny: Ok. *checks the image in the messages* Here? Why?
Sunny's Mom: You'll see, and I think you will be happy when you see it.
Sunny: Ok, I love you mom.
Sunny's Mom: I love you both. *Call ends*
Aubrey: So what's going on with your mom?
Sunny: I think she wants us to go there. I think something's wrong.
Aubrey: Why don't we go, we never see her since for a while.
Sunny: Well, let's go tomorrow.
The next day, we went to the place where my mom wants us to go.
Aubrey: So, this is where she wants us to go, right?
Sunny: I think so, we followed the map.
So we went into the door, and we found Sunny's mom, waiting for us.
Sunny's Mom: Children, you're here!
Sunny: Yeah what do you want us here?
Sunny's Mom: Come this way, this should make us happy for all.
Aubrey: I'm scared.
Sunny: I know, she has been through so much, which includes us.
As we enter the room, a voice of someone we never heard of.
????: Hello Suzuki family, you finally came. It's time to act the plan together Ms. Sunny.
Meanwhile....
Molly and Jonathan, just hang out like they usually do.
*Molly's POV*
Molly: So, what are you going to do for your third year of college?
Jonathan: A lot of self improvement, and then try to research on how do I became a human again.
Molly: I don't think that's possible, but why don't we ask Omega Domino to do so?
Jonathan: We just can't request Domino to do that, we need to do something worthy just to do it.
Molly: Oh, well that sucks, but don't worry, I'll be here whenever you need me.
Jonathan: And you will be the person that I would never, try to hurt you.
Molly: Awww. Well, so what are we going to do?
Jonathan: I don't know, maybe you have something to do?
Then I got a phone call from Mr. X.
Molly: Mr. X, wazzup?
Mr. X: I need your help, and bring some people with you and some weapons to fight.
Molly: Ok? *Call ends* Jonathan, were going on an adventure. But first we need to bring in some people and some weapons.
Jonathan: What?
Few hours later...
Sasha: So Mr. X called you and told us to come here?
Molly: Yes, and I don't know why. Maybe they manage to make the portal stable?
Dorian: Who is Mr. X?
Jonathan: A bald person who works in the government and made crazy inventions.
Dorian: I wanna see that guy.
So we reach the place where Mr. X runs a lab, which is where he created a portal that supposed to lead us to Amphibia.
Mr. X: Hello kids, seems like you brought some extra help.
Sasha: I don't trust you. One time you got us stuck in a different dimension for a week.
Mr. X: I know, but now we fixed it. We just need to set a target location on the other side of the portal where it spawns, and the test subject voluntarily sets it in the White Space on his mind.
Dorian: White Space?
Molly: Uh oh, I think I know who the text subject is... SUNNY!
So we ran to the room where the portal was located, and we saw Sunny's body in a contraption, where there is a dead body right next to it.
Molly: Oh my gosh, what did you do to Sunny?
Aubrey: I'm so sorry, there's a reason why we did it. There is something in Sunny's mind that we just need to do this.
Molly: Do What!?
Aubrey: That one.
So the dead body that was right next to Sunny is her used to be his older sister. Mari, and Mr. X found a way to revive her.
Sasha: Oh my gosh, who's that?
Molly: I think, it's-
Aubrey: Mari. It has been 24 years since she died. When Sunny shut himself in, his mother met Mr. X, who was young at that time and he wants to donate her body to him, just to do an experiment. Thanks to cryogenics, she's intact, although a lot of the process has been made.
Molly: Process, what process?
Mr. X: Repairing her spinal cord after internal decapitation, which is the cause of her death. It took a lot of effort to repair the spinal cord with the help of the doctors from around the world secretly. That took 14 years to do it.
Jonathan: That was so damn impressive that you managed to do this, but why didn't you want to show it to the world?
Mr. X: It's too long, so we need to find another way. And this one is experimental that is too risky and the legal and moral problems that it needs to face in society.
Molly: So what are you going to do to her?
Mr. X: Were going to revive her.
Molly: Using Sunny's soul?
Aubrey: No, we use something to our imagination and bring it to reality.
Sasha: That seems dumb.
Aubrey: No, it's not. A long time ago, Sunny made a headspace from the first four years during Mari's death. His headspace was a place to survive during is shut in phase on his life. When I lived with him, we both filled in with crazy headspace plans that can help Sunny's future outside life. And then we came up with a plan to revive Mari by trying to create a life jam, which is called the Ultimate Life Jam that can actually revive a dead person, not a toast of bread after defeat. Problem is, this was on his mind and there is no way to replicate it in real life. Right now, he hasn't gone back to the headspace for a long time and we forget where we put the Ultimate Life Jam.
Molly: Who's plan was this?
Sunny's Mom: My plan. I spent so much hard work that I rarely interact with Sunny during his 4 years of shut in. I tried to help him by giving things he needed to survive, until we moved into a new place where Mr. X's base was near me.
Molly: Ms. Suzuki?
Sunny's Mom: I know. We were grieving a lot, and I'm the only one who can't recover at all.
Jonathan: I'm not sure if this should work, but I want to see what Sunny's headspace looks like.
Mr. X: Well that signs it. So what weapons did you bring?
We show all of the weapons that we brought to fight something in headspace.
Mr. X: Molly, why did you use a violin as a weapon?
Molly: It has Nokia strength, and I have calamity powers to back it up.
Mr. X: Sasha just brought a sword. You could have a cooler sword just like what Jonathan has.
Sasha: It was forge on Amphibia you know?
Mr. X: Jonathan, you are having a hard time using the sword, right?
Jonathan: I know, but this sword can float mid air.
Mr. X: Ok? So Dorian, you bought-
Dorian: A glock?
Mr. X: 45 caliber bullets? This seems fine. Do you have extra rounds?
Dorian: Yes, 200 ammo, and probably more lootbox in Sunny's mind.
Mr. X: Hmmm, I think you're all set and Sunny is in a state of controlled coma, which has a 24 hour time limit in our time to retrieve the jam, but we can wake him up if you finish it early though.
Molly: I won't disappoint you.
Jonathan: Uhhh, I think 24 hours will not be enough to find something in his headspace?
Aubrey: I have to remind you, time runs 48x slower in headspace, so you have a lot of time to go around and explore in the headspace.
Dorian: 48x slower, so that means we have 48 days. That's cool but we wouldn't waste it, right?
Jonathan: I'm skeptical.
After this, Mr. X reactivated the portal again, and it all leads to Sunny's headspace, or I like to call it, his infraverse.
Mr. X: Terri will keep you in touch on your headspace adventures.
Molly: Got it!👍
Mr. X: Alright, the portal will be activated in 3, 2, 1. *Portal activates*
Dorian: ... Ok, so we go in?
Jonathan: Of course we go in.
Then we went into the portal, and it landed us in Sunny's headspace, which was the most central part of his mind.
Molly: Where are we?
Jonathan: Were in Sunny's mind.
Molly: According to me, you will see his inner version of himself.
Sasha: This feels creepy.
Molly: Of course, it used to be scarier during the first four years, but as the time passes, he said that it gotten less scary since he managed to control himself to not let his alter ego take over his mind.
Dorian: Alter ego? Who is it?
Then we saw Sunny, in his inner form of his mind, panicking.
Molly: Sunny?
Sunny: Oh my gosh! How did you all get in my mind? I didn't plan to make you all in my headspace.
Jonathan: We used Mr. X's contraption to travel into different places, and he sets it to your mind and you have something to do about it, right?
Sunny: Oh, you mean the Ultimate Life Jam? Well you can take the jam, because I can't get it out on my mind. But since you weren't, you can bring it into the real world.
Sasha: Oh, I now the context on what Mr. X wants us to do: Find the life jam thing in Sunny's mind and bring it out in the real world using Mr. X portal.
Molly: He said that he won't open the portal until we get the jam or the time runs out. By the way, what's the problem?
Sunny: Look.
So he sent us to the control room in the White Space, which is where everything in his mind was controlled.
Sunny: So this is my headspace control room, and this is where my world is controlled. Normally, before I wake up, I must shut the headspace down to avoid incidents in the headspace when I was gone. However I forgot to turn it off one day and left it for NEARLY A DECADE!
Molly: So, is there a problem after leaving it for a while?
Sunny: Well, based on the map.... 4/10 headspace sectors are in serious situation right now. First is the Otherworld is in constant war with the Infinity world, which they are constantly suppressed by each other, then In Sweethearts Castle, there is a huge issue because Perfectheart deposed Sweetheart and it didn't go well for the townspeople, then someone breached my prison that I made for Dreamworld Kel from Dankistsn.
Sasha: Dreamworld Kel? Who's that?
Molly: Did you just imagined Kel as a prisoner?
Sunny: I just locked him in because if I set free one of the main 3 Dreamworld destroyers, Omori will come out and destroy me, including my mental health.
Jonathan: Oh no, we can't just go on and let Dreamworld Kel do destruction, I want to showcase the pain now?
Sunny: Well, we should get out using one of the doors that leads to outside White Space.
Molly: Can we go now? I want to see what is the rest of your mind be like?
Sunny: Ok, ok, let's go.
So we go outside the White Space and explore to save the Dreamworld. This is where the new adventure starts.
Snake: Sunny? Who are these guys?
Sunny: Oh, these arent in my mind, and they came from the real world.
Snake: How?
Sunny: Some portal contraption made by a bald scientist.
Snake: Hmmm, I'm gonna ask them. Hey blonde girl with a dye on her hair, why are you here!?
Molly: I'm Molly, and we are going to find the Ultimate Life Jam to revive Mari, in real life!
Snake: Sunny loved her so much... He wants her back, right?
Molly: Most likely yes, according to his accounts.
Snake: It's true. The sun shined brighter when she was around, but one accident was enough to send her into her demise.
Molly: I know the story, he accidentally pushed her down stairs and framed her death as a suicide, not realizing she was still alive.
Snake:... Did you tell that story to her?
Sunny: Yes. She also wonders what she was like when she's alive.
Snake:... Hmmm, that seems great, because we have a replica of her when she was still alive. He uses her to talk to his problems out
Molly: I want to see her!
Snake: Go for it. Sunny, here's your allowance, 30 clams to go around the world.
Sunny: Thanks snake.
We went outside White Space, and we're in the Vast Forest part of his Headspace.
Sunny: Welcome to the Vast Forest, be careful of hostile sprout moles, they are hostile when they are lost.
Sasha: How hostile are they?
Sunny: Very hostile...
So there was a path that leads to a playground, which was now abandoned after 15 years of stagnation. In the abandoned playground, a treehouse was built on the center of the playground itself.
Underneath the tree, we saw Mari, and acted like what she could have been when she was still alive.
Sunny: Mari, I'm back!
Headspace Mari: Sunny!
Under the tree...
Headspace Mari: Where have you been?
Sunny: Focusing myself in real life. A lot of things has happened. Getting a job, having a wife, and raising two kids.
Headspace Mari: Oh my gosh, that's a lot, but who are those guys? Did you programed it up into your imagination?
Dorian: No, were real humans, we came from real life.
HeadspaceMari: Oh, thats what happened.
Sunny: And I forgot to shut the headspace down when I was gone, and now there is chaos in some places and I need to fix it with the help of them.
Molly: So you're Mari, before you died, right?
Headspace Mari: Yes. I'm basically a replica of real life Mari, and I'm aware the real one died after accident.
Jonathan: Listen here, we're going on an adventure in this place and we're looking for the Ultimate Life Jam.
Headspace Mari: Ultimate Life Jam? Oh the life jam that can revive anyone that didn't die as a toast. I don't know where but it was being abandoned for a long time because Sunny forgot to shut the headspace down when he left.
Sunny: Yeah it's my fault and now there are some places in Headspace that are now suffering from humanitarian crisis and I decided to ask them for some help.
Headspace Mari: Oh, well if you need to fight, then here are some food and items that can help you in battle. You already have weapons right?
Everyone in my group: *raises all of their available weapons*
Headspace Mari: That's a, lethal weapon choice. That can work.
So we analyzed the food and items that she gave us. She gave:
- 5 toast - 5 hotdogs - 3 life jam packets - 2 Banana smoothie - 5 rubber bands - and a disposable shield, which helps to negate damage.
Dorian: Life jam packets? I don't think we need to go further.
Sunny: Those aren't Ultimate Life Jam though, but they function as a way to revive in the battle.
Headspace Mari: So, are you ready to tackle your own world after more than a decade of working in real life?
Sunny: Well, I'm ready. Guys, are you ready too?
Jonathan: Is it ok to cause as much damage as possible?
Sunny: Well yes, you can.
Molly: LETS GOOO!!!
Sasha: I have a bad feeling about this...
Dorian: Just let them enjoy, seeing these two side by side is pretty entertaining because Molly and Jonathan's dynamic is somehow worth it.
Sasha: Yeah, it should.
Headspace Mari: Also meet Headspace Basil when you are going around. He is somewhere though.
Sunny: Got it! 👍
Then we go around the adventure to fix Sunny's Headspace Humanitarian Crisis, then find the Ultimate Life Jam to be given to Mr. X
