now i totally understand why some folks are annoyed. hell, depending on the results of the wipe, such as the loss of certain rewards, i may be annoyed too.
let me explain.
im someone who hit a wall a couple months ago and got stuck on some missions, as a result ive played maybe 3-4 times since early april because i felt so demoralized and unmotivated. ive been bummed out because i was so in love with DMZ.
so instead of complaining, im gonna talk about some results i hope for in the upcoming wipe:
i hope for less tedious and less near impossible missions. i dont mean the neat missions like planting trackers on choppers, or exfilling special items to plant on another map, those are interesting.
i mean missions like Lachmann Weapons Testing, or missions that are just fetch quest/easter egg hunts (collect 0/30 gas masks, blowtorches, $2 billion in cash). or missions that almost require weird manipulation of game mechanics, you know, the missions where tips to complete them overwhelmingly include things like "get two of your squadmates to join another squad so you can kill them over and over to complete the mission" because its not something you can achieve by just playing normally or without playing like an asshole. also ditch missions that have 12 caveats (kill 5 operators, while solo, with a pistol, with headshots, from over 100m, on a tuesday, while dolphin diving out of a heavy chopper, and take the last exfil)
i hope they just open up building 21 all week long. this weekends only bullcrap has seriously outlived its welcome, not to mention they have the balls to have building 21 missions. so either open it up, or get rid of building 21 missions completely.
new worthwhile rewards for missions, while at the same time keeping the good rewards of the past. so keep things like skins, and blueprints (i still want that Hazardous M13b bluprint damn it!) and lose the bullcrap like contraband that no one wants and loading screen wallpapers.
thats all i have for now. what are you all hoping for?

Some conversation was had about hollow man made constructed worlds and the problem arose that if the world was smaller, gravity would not be enough to keep an atmosphere.
If it was possible to 'cheat some gravity' into the center of the man made constructed planet, you could then have an atmosphere... Heck you might even be able to have teeny planets, like less than a kilometer in diameter like Super Mario Galaxy, but I haven't done the exact math... I'm just saying... If you had cheater gravity like that of a neutron star, you could do some pretty cool things. So this brings us to a really fantastic thought: How do we get some of the neutron star ejected from escape velocity?
Well a neutron star has a ridiculously intense gravitational pull, almost that of a black hole. We ain't going to mine a black hole theoretically with science knowledge we have now, but could we mine a neutron star if we fired a projectile at a high fraction of c?
I mean it's a whimsical thought:
1) We know that since the gravitational pull of a neutron star is extreme, yet still finite then one would suppose there is an escape velocity.
2) We might have the science to imagine making a projectile a high fraction of the speed of light, but we do not have the tech to do this or even make a hollow constructed planet. This is thinking tens of thousands of years in the future.
3) Aiming the projectile would take a lot of math too. I would surmise that we'd want to aim for the near surface to kick out some mass, without losing all the energy into a core hit.
4) It would probably take many attempts since if you hit it too light, you don't break atomic bonds or escape velocity. But if you hit it too hard, after it escapes gravitational pull, it could rocket into space extremely fast too.
This is all fun stuff to think about, but I am sure the scientific community has weighed in on it in the past. Can you give me more details, what I'm missing and some more fun information about this?
I'm a physicist and I write scifi for space sim games. So even just a bit of science to fit with whimsy helps.

Gongaware said he heard Michael in the car saying "offer 150, offer 150." Gongaware understood that to be $150k/month. Gongaware called Dr. Murray, said he was authorized to offer him $150k a month. He said Dr. Murray responded that he couldn't do it for that. Gongaware told him the offer came directly from the artist and Dr. Murray responded: "I'll take it" Gongaware said Michael approved the amount of compensation. "Michael told me offer 150," Gongaware recalled. "And that's what I did." Gongaware inquired from Dr. Murray how he would get a license in London and the doctor told him not to worry about it. They talked about Dr. Murray's request for a house in London, and the doctor said he would need a three bedroom house. Gongaware recalled Dr. Murray saying he would probably need an assistant and some equipment, but no details were given at this point. I know this is trivial in comparison to a lot of the posts on here but I’m kinda trippin about it..
I’ve been working hard to better myself and get my family back together this past year. My ex and I split a little over a year ago after ten years and 2 kids together. I was selfish in a lot of ways, I was burnt out, lazy in life and as a lover. She cheated, I kicked her out, later told her I wanted to make it work, she wouldn’t commit one way or another and we’ve been kind of off and on since.. But things have been going well lately.. We been hanging out as a family (with our two kids) a lot lately and been slowly rekindling the flame w my ex. Last weekend was her wknd w the kids, I spent it with them and had a great time. Her and I got some alone time and that went well too, we also slept together for the first time in a long time. I finally started feeling like things are going in the right direction. My bday is in 2 weeks and we’re gonna spend the day together with the kids then go out just me and her at night.
This week was a rough week for her, kids have been sick and she hasn’t been sleeping much or feeling well either. We live two hours away so I feel helpless when stuff like this happens. She came up tonight after work and dropped the kids off. Normally I make the trip to pick them up on Fridays but my car is being fixed so she offered. She got here late, like 11, and asked if she could stay the night because she has to be at work at 5am and wasn’t feeling good. I said of course. She got into my bed and I took care of the kids til they fell asleep.
Got into my room around 12, she was up and said her neck was bothering her so I rubbed it for her til she fell asleep. I work graveyard so I don’t sleep at night, or much at all really.. around 130 I went into my bathroom, shaved, showered, washed face while playing low music on my phone. I got out and she was wide awake saying I woke her up by doing all that. It’s a master bed/bath and the separation between the bathroom and bed is a couple feet. I closed the door but still.. I apologized and she didn’t seem mad or come off angry she just said she needed to be up in 40 mins and decided to go to sleep in the living room.
Like I said I apologized and I feel terrible. I didn’t think id be loud enough to wake her but I feel like it was inconsiderate af for me to do that, which is somethin she has called me out for numerous times in the past.. I knew she had to be up in a few hours and hasn’t slept or been feeling well. I know she’s a light sleeper too, so idk what I was thinking. I feel like I just fucked up all the progress Ive made by being so inconsiderate. Am I overthinking?

I've replayed road 96 more times than I can count and decided to give Road 96: mile 0 a chance. So now I'm in the middle of playing for the 1st time. I've noticed something that happens in both games. The way we react and talk to people is so weird. Like situations where I would obviously lie to stay safe still have a negative effect on the story.
Like there's a part where Katio can lie and say he's not in the BB. Why does that effect anything? Same for this part where you can "lie" to Sonya. If I'm open to showing my anti-tyrak side she kicks me out. And if I'm not so I can stay in the car longer it effects the game. That's so weird to me.

A story I wrote a while back. (To put it more accurately, a year ago.) Submitted it for the college Magazine, and recently uploaded it to Wattpad. But it didn't do much. So I decided to just put it on here. Any kind of feedback would be appreciated.
Being the idiot I am, I'm not sure what genre to place it in. But I'd say it's an action - drama in a somewhat fantastical setting.

"Undera night sky lit by two moons, a Witch loses her family, and begins to succumb to the dark, violent side of her powers - Bloodlust.
During this desparate struggle, she comes across a Bishop - a soldier of this city, whose sole purpose is to kill her kind.
Who is this Bishop? Will the Witch survive? And who am I, the being who wants to share this story with you??"

Oh, what a beautiful night.
The two moons in an elaborate dance, one in the arms of the other as they glow amidst the darkness. Wouldn't it be a heartbreak, for the king to abandon his queen at the brink of dawn, leaving her alone and defenseless?
Of course, my king already had. Even worse, he might've even let the hunters on my tail. Just the thought sent shudders through my spine. My dear melancholy, I thought, you won't be here for long. "I've cried with you far too long. Perhaps I should send you with my lover, let his blood wrap around you while you sleep. Perhaps I should let his cries wash away all that you weep."
I wanted answers. But, a deeper, more primal part of me needed revenge. But if I wanted either, I needed to act fast. I was being hunted. The people of this world, they call us witches. They call us the spawn of the devil, to be hunted and burned alive. I know this isn't true, I remember my parents' faces as clear as day. Damn it, I wish I just had a normal life. I wanted peace, quiet. I wanted a happy life with my husband.
"You are desecrated by the demon himself!"
"Get out of my sight! Begone!"
The memory of Anton's words, curled in utter disgust.... They hurt. Once, long before this, I could almost see the smile on his face, taste the uninhibited love in his gaze, feel the steady warmth of his embrace...... And now... Why? Why, you.......... Why?
The question turned into a haunting melody, trying to tear its way through my skull with a violent cacophony, only to fade into a whisper drumming in sync with my footsteps, as I tracked him down through the shadows. Was he the answer?
Or just prey? A rat to devour?
That thought worried me. No, I-I didn't want to hurt Anton, but.... But he had done the same, was still doing the same. The streets were quiet, the houses all around closed shut. No doubt, there were hunters, the Bishops, tracking me down. But I had become accustomed to sneaking around without leaving a trace.
I wished, sometimes I could be one of those lucky women hiding in those houses, with nothing to fear but the outside. They could just stay in their homes and live the lives they wanted.
But, the increasingly manic voice from within spoke, you had that. For a while. How long did it even last, until he kicked you out and left you for dead?
My footsteps quickened seemingly running towards my prey. Or maybe, away from whispers that were becoming hard to deny. And then, I found him. Right there, in the darkness, all alone.
Ready to speak.
Or to die.
And all of a sudden, I felt my knife slide home. Blood, sweet and magnificent, rose in the air. Every cell in my body rose towards it, parched for a taste.
Just a taste.
I stumbled under the ferocity of the thirst, my will pushed to its limit to keep it under control. His life was fading out.
I had to... I had to look him in the eye. I turned him around, and it wasn't him. It wasn't him.
Oh god, it wasn't him.
It wasn't him it wasn't him it wasn't----------
"Ophelia, what the heck have you become?"
I slowly turned towards the source of the sound, knowing the horror on his face I'd be forced to see. There it was, but somewhere in the miasma of repulsive emotions.... Was it concern? Did my dear Anton still care? Did he still... still love?
Something fell on my thigh, soft, and warm, disappearing seeping through my dirtied clothes the moment it touched. And it was then I realized - it was blood. It was all over me, across my lips, on my hands, seeping into my fingernails. It was overwhelming me, wrenching sense and sanity away. Was it too late? Was I past the point of no retu------
The next moment, I realize I'm.... falling. Further and further, but I can't find the floor. I can't feel my legs, my arms, my mouth. It's as if every part of me except my soul has disintegrated, vanished into thin air. I look around me. There are so many like me. Witches, humans, the faceless, the feral. The victim and the criminal. They are all the same. WE are one and the same. I don't feel my consciousness fading away, but rather.... It bleeds, it swims around like a drop in an ocean, a single grain of pollen among thousand others flying away. It's coming all together now, fusing and joining and mixing with the others, and into the will of one great being. It's like..... Like the God accepting us into His womb, letting us be a part of His plan, and giving us one last gift- vision, His vision, to see the world as it really is............. And the ones we left behind in this world.
The process seems so painful - I can feel emotions that aren't my own, emanating from within me, while my own emotions are scattered over this pool of collective consciousness. It swirls and splashes around, slowly moving towards a source, rather than away. The closer I get, the lesser I remember about myself. I'd be concerned, unhappy even, weren't it not for the fact that along with myself, I could also feel myself forgetting the world I had lived in like an insect, while I dance around in the memories of others. It's all mine, and what's mine is also others'. There isn't an "I" anymore. There's just...... An ocean. An ocean of serenity. A desert, devoid of pain and suffering. An oasis of peace.
Just......Anton. Look after him, my Savior. And my----------------------

Ah...... Another dead one coalescing into me. A woman, full of hopes and dreams soaked and squandered away by sorrow and hatred and envy. Don't fret, little one. You can rest now. Be in peace with yourself, and this broken world. Now, where were we? Ah, the woman finally lost it.
Her self-consciousness faded away the very moment that drop of blood dripped onto her tongue. What was left, was a husk of its former self, hungry for blood and power. I hated watching this, though I'd seen this a million times over. Even the part of me that was once that poor girl was undoubtedly horrified at what she'd become. It's okay, it's okay. It'll work out in the end. Trust me. Your loved ones shall come out whole from the other side.
Especially, I thought, if the Bishop beside him is truly who I think he is.
The word "Bishop" brought a bit of warranted concern to the residual piece of the girl, which meant I had to spend some more of my energy and attention to calm her down. So, I thought. Where were we?
The husk of the woman lunged for her former lover, only to be denied her prey by a sudden tackle to the ground. The assailant swiftly rolled out of harm's way, spinning around and aiming a rather large revolver right at her head.
"Freeze. Or the bullet goes in your head."
She didn't respond in kind. Instead, she... It. It, reminded the small voice that was once part of her, now just in pure disbelief at what she was looking at. It looked him dead in the eye, wailed its vocal cords out and slit its own arm, letting the blood spurt open all around her. The dead carcass beside her became her fuel, swimming towards and into heIt, as its own blood slowly morphed into clones of its own. All contorted and manic, just like the original. All at once, they converged right at the hunter, eager to churn out the flesh. One sneaky little figure, however, sneaked right out of sight and right towards its/ her husband.
Yeah, it was her husband alright. All these bright little memories sparkling from within the dark, right up until everything tore apart- Wait. Oh n-
A hailstorm of gunshots shattered the rain of noise that drenched the night. And just like that, almost all the clones were gone, fading into a cloudburst of blood from which they had risen. The husband, Anton, screamed, "The blood- it'll burn!!" But the hunter rushed through regardless, through the blood.
True to his word, the blood began to boil and corrode away all the protective plates and clothing, but the man himself was strangely unaffected. Rather, he became seemingly faster, as he kicked away the witch, the original form out, just a mere fraction of a second before it could rip out Anton's jugular. My heart was in my throat. Or at least, the newly assimilated soul felt that way.
I was more interested to as to how the Bishop appeared to have changed, as if a limiter on himself had been removed by the blood. As if a blind man had finally been given the path towards light.
By the time it could recover, the Bishop held the previous position once again- only this time, aiming at the creature's belly. That, is what I was worried about. The poor woman was pregnant when she lost control. "Now," he said. "Don't move."
The woman's soul suddenly began to wrench its way out towards her body, trying desperately to save its offspring, its child. Its only ray of hope. It took a considerable effort to keep her in control, much more than what I would once require. Well, I thought, all the more reason to let things go as they should.
Anton went to protect the thing that was once his wife, right up until the Bishop changed his aim towards him.
Anton paled, but understood the message. He returned to his previous position, his crosshairs pointed right at the woman's swollen abdomen, and waited for her to react.
She didn't.
She stilled, almost stuck between her primal urge as a creature of blood, and a maternal urge as a creature of warmth.
The hesitation was enough for the hunter to make a decision.
"Rest in peace."
The gun fired.
A single bullet exploded into a hundred smaller shells, penetrating the witch - not at the abdomen, but straight through the head. The man beside him just puked at the gruesome scene, unable to bear not just the brutality, but the heartbreak of it.
The hunter turned towards him. "Put yourself together. Besides, you put her in this situation."
The remark halted Anton from his state of disgust into a fit of near-violent rage.
"What? What the fuck do you know, you lowlife? You're the ones who kill innocent women for just the smallest suspicion of their nature. You fucker! Die in the womb you lived in you-"But, he couldn't hold on to it. Just couldn't.
Anton broke into tears, his guilt, his pain and his loss flowing down his face and falling at the cold ground below him.
It--It wasn't a nice sight to see. He cried, and cried, and cried, sometimes in reminiscence of the small moments that he'd shared with his loved one, sometimes in despair of the things he'd done. He could blame all he could, curse all he could. At the world. At hunters. At God. Even himself, but that would not bring his love back to life. It wouldn't bring his unbor---
A tiny, yet strong innocent wail interrupted his downward spiral.
"Anton. Your child." With that brief phrase, the Bishop laid a fragile infant in his arms. Crying, with hair barely formed, yet Anton could see it- It was her child. Her and his. THEIR child. But......
"IT's- It's a girl. Won't you-"
"Well, I think it would be rude of me not to turn a blind eye your way. I cannot see, after all. Besides, I think this child deserves a chance. For the mother who, in the throes of death, chose her child over revenge. And," he said, patting down the man's shoulder, "the pathetic man who still wanted to save his wife, even if she was no more. Now go. Get the fuck out of here. I gotta pick up the corpse and collect my payment. Oh, and, uh... What happened here, all of it- you don't remember a thing. Got it?"
He didn't need even the slightest of threats. The guy thanked the Bishop and, with the now smiling babe, walked away.
Another figure appeared from behind the hunter.
"Was that a good decision, Navy?"
A Faceless one. Quite devoted to the Bishop. His question held a tone of concern, but a sense of curiosity dominated his voice as he asked his question.
"Grayson," he said, placing his shotgun onto the floor as a walking stick, "I never overthi-"
"Shut up."
A careless shrug. "Alright. You got me. You want me to be honest? I.....see myself, as weird as it sounds. In that child, in that man. Even in the fuckin' witches. I kill them for a living, Gray. I wake up every morning to load a bullet carrying their name."
"You hate them. Simple as that."
"But a really small part of me..... It- I don't know, Gray. Sometimes all I do is say thanks to this stupid world we live in. A world where everyone wants to fall in love but there's no room for it, in the grand scheme of things. You know, it's times like these that make me glad. Better off believing in a dream world of love and peace, rather than knowing this nightmare of an era. An Era Vulgaris, if you will."
Indeed, in this we might just be kindred spirits. Hm... well, there's definitely a potential in him, to become what I need him to be in the future. I just.....
Well, I'll let this run its course.
After all, it depends on whether she can will herself a future worth salvaging. For there was another one spying on the hunter, another witch whose paths would cross with his. And that path would either fall in place like clockwork, or blow up every plan and contingency I'd made into smoke.
Till then, I guess it best to rest. Kick back and watch this Era Vulgaris consume itself in its vanity, and see if something will come out whole the other side. Rest well, Navidson.

The question turned into a haunting melody, trying to tear its way through my skull with a violent cacophony, only to fade into a whisper drumming in sync with my footsteps, as I tracked him down through the shadows. Was he the answer?
Or just prey? A rat to devour?
That thought worried me. No, I-I didn't want to hurt Anton, but.... But he had done the same, was still doing the same. The streets were quiet, the houses all around closed shut. No doubt, there were hunters, the Bishops, tracking me down. But I had become accustomed to sneaking around without leaving a trace.
I wished, sometimes I could be one of those lucky women hiding in those houses, with nothing to fear but the outside. They could just stay in their homes and live the lives they wanted.
But, the increasingly manic voice from within spoke, you had that. For a while. How long did it even last, until he kicked you out and left you for dead?
My footsteps quickened seemingly running towards my prey. Or maybe, away from whispers that were becoming hard to deny. And then, I found him. Right there, in the darkness, all alone.
Ready to speak.
Or to die.
And all of a sudden, I felt my knife slide home. Blood, sweet and magnificent, rose in the air. Every cell in my body rose towards it, parched for a taste.
Just a taste.
I stumbled under the ferocity of the thirst, my will pushed to its limit to keep it under control. His life was fading out.
I had to... I had to look him in the eye. I turned him around, and it wasn't him. It wasn't him.
Oh god, it wasn't him.
It wasn't him it wasn't him it wasn't----------
"Ophelia, what the heck have you become?"
I slowly turned towards the source of the sound, knowing the horror on his face I'd be forced to see. There it was, but somewhere in the miasma of repulsive emotions.... Was it concern? Did my dear Anton still care? Did he still... still love?
Something fell on my thigh, soft, and warm, disappearing seeping through my dirtied clothes the moment it touched. And it was then I realized - it was blood. It was all over me, across my lips, on my hands, seeping into my fingernails. It was overwhelming me, wrenching sense and sanity away. Was it too late? Was I past the point of no retu------
The next moment, I realize I'm.... falling. Further and further, but I can't find the floor. I can't feel my legs, my arms, my mouth. It's as if every part of me except my soul has disintegrated, vanished into thin air. I look around me. There are so many like me. Witches, humans, the faceless, the feral. The victim and the criminal. They are all the same. WE are one and the same. I don't feel my consciousness fading away, but rather.... It bleeds, it swims around like a drop in an ocean, a single grain of pollen among thousand others flying away. It's coming all together now, fusing and joining and mixing with the others, and into the will of one great being. It's like..... Like the God accepting us into His womb, letting us be a part of His plan, and giving us one last gift- vision, His vision, to see the world as it really is............. And the ones we left behind in this world.
The process seems so painful - I can feel emotions that aren't my own, emanating from within me, while my own emotions are scattered over this pool of collective consciousness. It swirls and splashes around, slowly moving towards a source, rather than away. The closer I get, the lesser I remember about myself. I'd be concerned, unhappy even, weren't it not for the fact that along with myself, I could also feel myself forgetting the world I had lived in like an insect, while I dance around in the memories of others. It's all mine, and what's mine is also others'. There isn't an "I" anymore. There's just...... An ocean. An ocean of serenity. A desert, devoid of pain and suffering. An oasis of peace.
Just......Anton. Look after him, my Savior. And my----------------------

Ah...... Another dead one coalescing into me. A woman, full of hopes and dreams soaked and squandered away by sorrow and hatred and envy. Don't fret, little one. You can rest now. Be in peace with yourself, and this broken world. Now, where were we? Ah, the woman finally lost it.
Her self-consciousness faded away the very moment that drop of blood dripped onto her tongue. What was left, was a husk of its former self, hungry for blood and power. I hated watching this, though I'd seen this a million times over. Even the part of me that was once that poor girl was undoubtedly horrified at what she'd become. It's okay, it's okay. It'll work out in the end. Trust me. Your loved ones shall come out whole from the other side.
Especially, I thought, if the Bishop beside him is truly who I think he is.
The word "Bishop" brought a bit of warranted concern to the residual piece of the girl, which meant I had to spend some more of my energy and attention to calm her down. So, I thought. Where were we?
The husk of the woman lunged for her former lover, only to be denied her prey by a sudden tackle to the ground. The assailant swiftly rolled out of harm's way, spinning around and aiming a rather large revolver right at her head.
"Freeze. Or the bullet goes in your head."
She didn't respond in kind. Instead, she... It. It, reminded the small voice that was once part of her, now just in pure disbelief at what she was looking at. It looked him dead in the eye, wailed its vocal cords out and slit its own arm, letting the blood spurt open all around her. The dead carcass beside her became her fuel, swimming towards and into heIt, as its own blood slowly morphed into clones of its own. All contorted and manic, just like the original. All at once, they converged right at the hunter, eager to churn out the flesh. One sneaky little figure, however, sneaked right out of sight and right towards its/ her husband.
Yeah, it was her husband alright. All these bright little memories sparkling from within the dark, right up until everything tore apart- Wait. Oh n-
A hailstorm of gunshots shattered the rain of noise that drenched the night. And just like that, almost all the clones were gone, fading into a cloudburst of blood from which they had risen. The husband, Anton, screamed, "The blood- it'll burn!!" But the hunter rushed through regardless, through the blood.
True to his word, the blood began to boil and corrode away all the protective plates and clothing, but the man himself was strangely unaffected. Rather, he became seemingly faster, as he kicked away the witch, the original form out, just a mere fraction of a second before it could rip out Anton's jugular. My heart was in my throat. Or at least, the newly assimilated soul felt that way.
I was more interested to as to how the Bishop appeared to have changed, as if a limiter on himself had been removed by the blood. As if a blind man had finally been given the path towards light.
By the time it could recover, the Bishop held the previous position once again- only this time, aiming at the creature's belly. That, is what I was worried about. The poor woman was pregnant when she lost control. "Now," he said. "Don't move."
The woman's soul suddenly began to wrench its way out towards her body, trying desperately to save its offspring, its child. Its only ray of hope. It took a considerable effort to keep her in control, much more than what I would once require. Well, I thought, all the more reason to let things go as they should.
Anton went to protect the thing that was once his wife, right up until the Bishop changed his aim towards him.
Anton paled, but understood the message. He returned to his previous position, his crosshairs pointed right at the woman's swollen abdomen, and waited for her to react.
She didn't.
She stilled, almost stuck between her primal urge as a creature of blood, and a maternal urge as a creature of warmth.
The hesitation was enough for the hunter to make a decision.
"Rest in peace."
The gun fired.
A single bullet exploded into a hundred smaller shells, penetrating the witch - not at the abdomen, but straight through the head. The man beside him just puked at the gruesome scene, unable to bear not just the brutality, but the heartbreak of it.
The hunter turned towards him. "Put yourself together. Besides, you put her in this situation."
The remark halted Anton from his state of disgust into a fit of near-violent rage.
"What? What the fuck do you know, you lowlife? You're the ones who kill innocent women for just the smallest suspicion of their nature. You fucker! Die in the womb you lived in you-"But, he couldn't hold on to it. Just couldn't.
Anton broke into tears, his guilt, his pain and his loss flowing down his face and falling at the cold ground below him.
It--It wasn't a nice sight to see. He cried, and cried, and cried, sometimes in reminiscence of the small moments that he'd shared with his loved one, sometimes in despair of the things he'd done. He could blame all he could, curse all he could. At the world. At hunters. At God. Even himself, but that would not bring his love back to life. It wouldn't bring his unbor---
A tiny, yet strong innocent wail interrupted his downward spiral.
"Anton. Your child." With that brief phrase, the Bishop laid a fragile infant in his arms. Crying, with hair barely formed, yet Anton could see it- It was her child. Her and his. THEIR child. But......
"IT's- It's a girl. Won't you-"
"Well, I think it would be rude of me not to turn a blind eye your way. I cannot see, after all. Besides, I think this child deserves a chance. For the mother who, in the throes of death, chose her child over revenge. And," he said, patting down the man's shoulder, "the pathetic man who still wanted to save his wife, even if she was no more. Now go. Get the fuck out of here. I gotta pick up the corpse and collect my payment. Oh, and, uh... What happened here, all of it- you don't remember a thing. Got it?"
He didn't need even the slightest of threats. The guy thanked the Bishop and, with the now smiling babe, walked away.
Another figure appeared from behind the hunter.
"Was that a good decision, Navy?"
A Faceless one. Quite devoted to the Bishop. His question held a tone of concern, but a sense of curiosity dominated his voice as he asked his question.
"Grayson," he said, placing his shotgun onto the floor as a walking stick, "I never overthi-"
"Shut up."
A careless shrug. "Alright. You got me. You want me to be honest? I.....see myself, as weird as it sounds. In that child, in that man. Even in the fuckin' witches. I kill them for a living, Gray. I wake up every morning to load a bullet carrying their name."
"You hate them. Simple as that."
"But a really small part of me..... It- I don't know, Gray. Sometimes all I do is say thanks to this stupid world we live in. A world where everyone wants to fall in love but there's no room for it, in the grand scheme of things. You know, it's times like these that make me glad. Better off believing in a dream world of love and peace, rather than knowing this nightmare of an era. An Era Vulgaris, if you will."
Indeed, in this we might just be kindred spirits. Hm... well, there's definitely a potential in him, to become what I need him to be in the future. I just.....
Well, I'll let this run its course.
After all, it depends on whether she can will herself a future worth salvaging. For there was another one spying on the hunter, another witch whose paths would cross with his. And that path would either fall in place like clockwork, or blow up every plan and contingency I'd made into smoke.
Till then, I guess it best to rest. Kick back and watch this Era Vulgaris consume itself in its vanity, and see if something will come out whole the other side. Rest well, Navidson.

I had my HCG bloods drawn on Wednesday. They came back as 326.
Another blood draw 48 hours later and my levels are at 330.
I’m in the UK under the NHS so they’re not the most informative doctors/nurses. I was just told they’d draw my blood again tomorrow and we’d go from there.
Should I be considering an ectopic with levels like this? I’m so worried one of my tubes will just burst as the hospital is reacting by only drawing bloods every 48 hours. Nothing was seen on my ultrasound on Wednesday - this is what started off them doing 48 hourly HCG tests. I’m unsure what the standard protocol would be as I’ve only ever had healthy live births (via IVF but still healthy babies and pregnancies)
I’m aware the pregnancy is 99.9% none viable even if it isn’t ectopic. Is it possible the hospital will allow me to ‘abort’ the failing pregnancy if it isn’t ectopic? I don’t want to hang around in limbo any further and if it’s a failed uterine pregnancy I want it out asap. I should be nearly 6 weeks now, but my HCG levels are way too low for this and the ultrasound also couldn’t see much of anything.
This was a much wanted and tried for third baby. I’m bummed out. I had even started to add things to my Amazon baby registry and dare to believe we’d be welcoming our third baby in January 2024. In hindsight however I never felt as though it would work in the first place - I never once got a ‘dye stealer’ with this pregnancy on any pregnancy tests and the clear blue digital never moved from 2-3 weeks. I’m guessing if I did one now it would be even lower than it was. I’m worried I won’t fall pregnant again now for months or years - this was our second natural conception in our entire marriage/relationship. We can’t afford another round of IVF if I don’t catch naturally again.
Any advice please?

I work in hospitality, a very popular chain company here at the UK, I won't mention the name, but I can honestly say, it's the best job I've ever had, I didn't think I would enjoy a job so much especially working the night shifts. When I was being interviewed, everything was sounding amazing until they mentioned I would be working completely alone, I have to admit that made my heart skip a beat and I almost refused the job. But honestly accepting the job was the best thing I ever did and being there for nearly 2 years has proven that, I still can't believe I work there. The staff are amazing, the guests are 99.9% pleasant and overall I'm very happy.
But of course, where there's good, there is bad. Sure I've dealt with awkard guests, guests who came back drunk after a night out, I even had to kick out a few guests because they were being way too loud and disturbing other guests sleeping. So it's not all sun shine and roses I admit but that doesn't put me off my job. Until one night where a guest made me question that very thing.
It happened a few weeks ago, I arrived at my normal time to take over from evening staff, the duty manager that was working took me to one side and gave me the run down on what happened to her and the staff that evening during dinner service. According to her, the 2 guests (a man and a woman) who is staying in room 1 was acting very strange, apparently they stepped out to have a cigarette but the guy was disturbing the guests who was eating dinner, by slamming his entire body against the windows that looked into the restaurant, shouting profanities, and making rude hand gestures. He then disappeared for a few minutes then came back with a fire extinguisher that he got from our bin shed. Whilst all this was happening, the duty manager stepped out and gave him a warning and told him if they disturb any more guests or attempts to destroy the hotel property again, they'll be out. Apparently the guy made some empty threatening remarks then disappeared back into his room with his lady friend.
The duty manager assured me that it's highly doubtful that the strange couple will come out of their room for the rest of the night and that everything should be ok. Oh how wrong she was.
After the duty manger and front of house staff left at around 11.15pm, i locked the doors and grabbed my panic button, something that the manager insists us night shift workers wear as a precaution, and although I never had to use it, I'm very glad I wore it that night. I knuckled down and got on with my duties, cleaning, setting up continental breakfast, emptying rubbish bags, counting the till, restocking juices and defrosting pancakes, crumpets and muffins. Little but necessary jobs. At around 1.30am I just finished mopping and getting ready to sit down to take a little break with some snacks and scroll through my phone in the restaurant area, I was just about to take a bite when all of a sudden I heard the hotel door open. It was the couple from room 1, making their way outside to have another cigarette. Going by what the duty manager told me about the guy I didn't feel at all safe being alone in the open, so I gathered all my things and made my way to the office where I could lock myself in a keep an eye on them on the CCTV monitor.
Some time went by, and the lady made her way back in, and she did not look at all well, she was walking so slowly, like she was in pain, swaying while she walked, stopping every few steps, but she managed to get back into her room from what I can see on the monitors. The guy how ever was not at all in a rush to go back to the room. He made his way back in the hotel with his key card and decided he was going to explore the restaurant area, ok nothing alarming, at first i thought he was looking for me, and I almost opened the door to let him know I was there, until I looked up at the monitor and there he was standing on a table and dancing, now I know that doesn't sound at all threatening but you have to admit, very strange behaviour. So instead of opening the door, I decided to observe him for a while and for the next hour or so, his behaviour went from strange, to damn right disturbing.
As I said he started off by just dancing on a table, then danced around the restaurant area, then made his way to the lobby area where he decided to stand very still like a statue, then a few seconds later, move position, then stand still again. Again not very threatening, in fact I was giggling a little just watching him doing what ever the heck he was doing. But the worse was yet to come.
At around 2.45am the guy was still acting strange, he was constantly going in and out of the hotel, dancing some more and jumping around. Then he decided it would be a good idea to take the condiment tray, take a seat on the chair behind the desk and start drinking the ketchup and brown sauce. Ok, now his behaviour has gone from strange, to a bit concerning. I was not about to open the office and tell him he needs to stop what he's doing and go back to his room, being a lone female worker I wasn't about to put myself in any danger, but I wasn't in enough danger to call anybody so again, I just watched him. As time went on his behaviour slowly went from concerning to disgusting.
Around 3.25am after he finished drinking the condiments, he got up and took his shirt off and wiped away the sauce that was around his mouth, he then draped his shirt over the desk chair walked around a little bit until he came to a complete stop and slowly turned his head towards the office door. Now I'm scared, the way he slowly walked towards the office door, the way he made direct eye contact at the camera as if to say, "I know you're in there watching me" he pressed his body against the office door and started kissing it whilst making direct eye contact with the camera, he then started putting his hand down his shorts and yes he was doing exactly what you're thinking. I felt sick, my whole body broke into a kind of frozen mode, like I couldn't believe what I was looking at but I knew I had to do something and fast.
So I pressed my panic button and called the police, I wanted him gone, time was passing fast and pretty soon breakfast service would be starting and I didn't want any other guests to be in danger. As I was on the phone to the police I spoke in a kind of whisper talk, so the guy right outside the door couldn't hear me, I told the dispatcher everything and of course they sent a call out for officers to come to the hotel to see the situation. It was just before 4am when the police officers arrived, and the guy was still in the lobby area but not doing what he was doing before. Instead in a very dramatic way he went down on his knees and yelled "not me, not me" I made my way out of the office, feeling safer that the police were there and whilst he was still on his knees with his hands above his head I told one officer everything that I told dispatch. The officers tried to communicate with him that him and his lady friend needs to leave the premises, there was a language barrier I think the guy was polish he kept saying "not me" or " I no go"
One officer asked to be let into his room to check on the lady friend, as soon as I opened the door, we were hit with the most foulest of smells ever, it smelt like urine and feaces, bottle of beer scattered everywhere, hard drugs on the bedroom desk. The lady friend was sat up naked on the bed that was drenched with urine and alcohol. I never seen anything like it.
After much argueing and alot more police officers arriving with a riot van. The guy was arrested and was put into the back of the van. A relative arrived just before 6.15 am to collect the lady. They couldn't be more apologetic, trying to explain to me that both of them had mental issues and have been missing for days. I tried to be understanding, I really did, but after what I saw, at that moment I just wanted them gone.
By 6.45am the police and the couple were gone. And the day manager arrived. I told them everything and showed them what had happened on the cctv. They gave me a big hug and praised me for how I treated the situation, but all I wanted to do was go home and take a long hot shower and go to bed. I was exhausted.
It's been a few weeks and I was told the guy was charged for indesent exposure and the lady is staying with a relative. I really do hope that both of them get the help they desperately need. As for me, I'm still working there, I'm not about to let one major incident make me leave a job I love. But what it has taught me, is to always, always trust your gut, if I didn't run to the office when I did, god knows what would of happened to me.

Some time went by, and the lady made her way back in, and she did not look at all well, she was walking so slowly, like she was in pain, swaying while she walked, stopping every few steps, but she managed to get back into her room from what I can see on the monitors. The guy how ever was not at all in a rush to go back to the room. He made his way back in the hotel with his key card and decided he was going to explore the restaurant area, ok nothing alarming, at first i thought he was looking for me, and I almost opened the door to let him know I was there, until I looked up at the monitor and there he was standing on a table and dancing, now I know that doesn't sound at all threatening but you have to admit, very strange behaviour. So instead of opening the door, I decided to observe him for a while and for the next hour or so, his behaviour went from strange, to damn right disturbing.
As I said he started off by just dancing on a table, then danced around the restaurant area, then made his way to the lobby area where he decided to stand very still like a statue, then a few seconds later, move position, then stand still again. Again not very threatening, in fact I was giggling a little just watching him doing what ever the heck he was doing. But the worse was yet to come.
At around 2.45am the guy was still acting strange, he was constantly going in and out of the hotel, dancing some more and jumping around. Then he decided it would be a good idea to take the condiment tray, take a seat on the chair behind the desk and start drinking the ketchup and brown sauce. Ok, now his behaviour has gone from strange, to a bit concerning. I was not about to open the office and tell him he needs to stop what he's doing and go back to his room, being a lone female worker I wasn't about to put myself in any danger, but I wasn't in enough danger to call anybody so again, I just watched him. As time went on his behaviour slowly went from concerning to disgusting.
Around 3.25am after he finished drinking the condiments, he got up and took his shirt off and wiped away the sauce that was around his mouth, he then draped his shirt over the desk chair walked around a little bit until he came to a complete stop and slowly turned his head towards the office door. Now I'm scared, the way he slowly walked towards the office door, the way he made direct eye contact at the camera as if to say, "I know you're in there watching me" he pressed his body against the office door and started kissing it whilst making direct eye contact with the camera, he then started putting his hand down his shorts and yes he was doing exactly what you're thinking. I felt sick, my whole body broke into a kind of frozen mode, like I couldn't believe what I was looking at but I knew I had to do something and fast.
So I pressed my panic button and called the police, I wanted him gone, time was passing fast and pretty soon breakfast service would be starting and I didn't want any other guests to be in danger. As I was on the phone to the police I spoke in a kind of whisper talk, so the guy right outside the door couldn't hear me, I told the dispatcher everything and of course they sent a call out for officers to come to the hotel to see the situation. It was just before 4am when the police officers arrived, and the guy was still in the lobby area but not doing what he was doing before. Instead in a very dramatic way he went down on his knees and yelled "not me, not me" I made my way out of the office, feeling safer that the police were there and whilst he was still on his knees with his hands above his head I told one officer everything that I told dispatch. The officers tried to communicate with him that him and his lady friend needs to leave the premises, there was a language barrier I think the guy was polish he kept saying "not me" or " I no go"
One officer asked to be let into his room to check on the lady friend, as soon as I opened the door, we were hit with the most foulest of smells ever, it smelt like urine and feaces, bottle of beer scattered everywhere, hard drugs on the bedroom desk. The lady friend was sat up naked on the bed that was drenched with urine and alcohol. I never seen anything like it.
After much argueing and alot more police officers arriving with a riot van. The guy was arrested and was put into the back of the van. A relative arrived just before 6.15 am to collect the lady. They couldn't be more apologetic, trying to explain to me that both of them had mental issues and have been missing for days. I tried to be understanding, I really did, but after what I saw, at that moment I just wanted them gone.
By 6.45am the police and the couple were gone. And the day manager arrived. I told them everything and showed them what had happened on the cctv. They gave me a big hug and praised me for how I treated the situation, but all I wanted to do was go home and take a long hot shower and go to bed. I was exhausted.
It's been a few weeks and I was told the guy was charged for indesent exposure and the lady is staying with a relative. I really do hope that both of them get the help they desperately need. As for me, I'm still working there, I'm not about to let one major incident make me leave a job I love. But what it has taught me, is to always, always trust your gut, if I didn't run to the office when I did, god knows what would of happened to me.

Hey folks. I'm an amateur home mechanic so I know my way around a toolbox.
I did an extensive teardown and rebuild of my 1985 Toyota Celica Supra after it developed a major oil leak. The oil soaked the power steering pump and alternator. I removed both, doused them in degreaser and thoroughly cleaned them up. However, the car now shows a Charge warning light and the alternator is indeed not putting out the right voltage. I put a voltmeter on the battery and it shows voltage rising to 12.9V, holding for a while, then suddenly dropping to nearly 10V, bouncing around for a while and then charging again.
I have a spare alternator in my parts stash (classic car, after all!) so I put that on instead. However, it's showing the same problem. What I also noticed was that the Charge light does not come on with the ignition like it's supposed to, but it does light up as soon as the engine is running. Engine RPM does not affect the alternator output or the warning light.
The alternator has 4 terminals - the high-current B connection straight to the battery directly out of the rectifier, then a connector on the back of the regulator with terminals IG (Ignition), L (warning Light) and S (Sense for reference voltage). With the ignition OFF, there is battery voltage at terminals B and S. With the ignition ON, there is battery voltage at all 4 terminals.
I'm not 100% sure what this all means. Having two alternators display the same behaviour suggests something common to both, though one was soaked in oil and cleaned with water-based degreaser (not immersed, and I removed the regulator before cleaning) then WD40 to chase the water out, and the other has been in my parts stash for years and never tested.
I'm trying to rig up a test using a scrap 12V battery to excite the coils and measure the output voltage by turning it with a drill, but I'd love to know if anyone recognises these symptoms. I can get replacement voltage regulators and rectifiers for this alternator but I'd rather have a proper diagnosis before I spend money on it.

As for me as a person, I've been on a self improvement kick through everything. Working out (trying to lose the gut while still eating fun foods is tough tho :P) and trying to improve myself in general, languages (I tried both turkish and german respectively through lockdown, german went okay, turkish I sucked at), teaching myself stuff, trying creative things (painting/candle making). Beyond that, I live in England, I'm pretty keen on travelling, I did a 3 month sabbatical and did trips to a number of countries, with a Turkey trip again + Philippines and Singapore trip recently. I read and I'm a good but lazy cook. I'm the fairly typical TV/football/videogames fan, always enjoy a long walk, I follow politics/current affairs, but its gotten so depressing recently I've avoided it far more than ever before, I enjoy anime but it can be a struggle to get into. I've gotten deep into cryptocurrency (bitcoin etc) and investing in general I enjoy as cringe as it sounds. I worked retail for nearly 5 years, but moved into insurance sales in 2019, I'll likely gripe about work from time to time too. Honestly my only real hang up is when you get fond of someone and they disappear, I don't mind if its early on, maybe you're busy or there's no connection, but it does sting if one day you're like "I love speaking to you, you're so cute and fun!" and then next day you're gone for good. The different iterations this build went through are described in the picture below. I slightly tweaked and edited my original summary, adding new benchmark results, but mostly left the original build process summary intact. Enjoy. https://i.imgur.com/edktZv1.jpg In the last couple of years, ever since I discovered the mini-ITX craze, I've been toying around with the idea of building the smallest SFF water cooled PC. I first started with the dual mini AIO mod in a K39 case, then made the original "No Space Wasted" build using the Alphacool Eisbaer LT in a custom loop with soft tubing. And recently I completed the A09 water cooled build. At that point I thought I was done, but deep down, I always wanted to try a mini-ITX full hardline loop and so this dream became a reality, although it proved to be quite an ordeal. I will list out the specs first before going into the build process: -ASUS ROG STRIX X570-I GAMING -Ryzen 5 5600 -Modultra LOBO Low Profile Water Block (Alphacool Liang DDC310 Pump) -PNY NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB XLR8 -Bykski N-GY3060XJ-X GPU Water Block -Syscooling AS160 Aluminum Radiator -Freezemod LSJ-ZNR Digital Flowmeter -KLEVV BOLT X 16GB kit (8GB x2) 3600 MHz -Crucial P1 1TB NVMe SSD -MF 650F 1U Flex PSU -D21 Case (old version) https://i.imgur.com/PZP4aoN.jpg https://i.imgur.com/kzTsZO4.jpg I started with my old components from the original "No Space Wasted" build, only upgrading from 2060 to 3060. My first hurdle was trying to find a suitable water block+pump combo, since nothing that sold on the market fit in my case. This is when I stumbled upon the SFF.Network forum and discovered the existence of the Modultra LOBO. Not only did it fit perfectly with a few millimeters to spare, but it also has a neat feature of cooling the pump using the loop thanks to its full metal block design. https://i.imgur.com/KbdreDh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/N6wlqHS.jpg Since I used dual 80mm copper rads last time, I found them to be not that great for optimal water flow, so I decided to risk it and go with an aluminum 160mm rad, which was the only rad that could fit. Simply strapping 80mm fans in a conventional way couldn't be done due to space constraints, so I first created the GPU fan style prototype. It was functional but didn't look great, so I opted for a better solution instead. https://i.imgur.com/HFGCr3A.png https://i.imgur.com/S3rxptI.jpg I acquired smaller 70mm PWM 6000 RPM fans, cut small grooves into the corners and basically wedged it in between the fins and the fan mounting points on the rad, essentially creating a toolless fan installation. This also worked out great for airflow, since the fans were now almost fully contacting the fins, limiting air leakage. I realize that this way the fans could potentially deform or possibly melt if the rad gets hot enough, but I've been running multiple stress test hours on end and I've yet to see any damage. Hopefully that won't happen, since this machine will only be used for editing and gaming. https://i.imgur.com/2ykwYuR.png And so, I completely assembled the first iteration of the system, pressure tested and filled the loop. I previously used the Liquid Utopia from PrimoChill, but after running it in the previous soft tubing version of the build, it accumulated algae just after six months, despite no presence of mixed metals in the loop, so I decided to try PrimoChill's True clear fluid this time. That was a mistake... https://i.imgur.com/AeWkMOb.jpg https://i.imgur.com/CEJBqrS.png This is what happened after running it for a few days. It gradually got worse, ultimately turning into this milky consistency and staining everything in the loop. Now, to be fair, PrimoChill strongly advises against using this liquid in a loop with mixed metals, but I hoped it would last longer than a week... Apparently, the reaction was almost immediate. Unfortunately, I had to completely disassemble the entire thing, deep clean all the components and this time I opted for the best liquid for mixed metals I know: Antifreeze. I bought a basic car antifreeze premixture and diluted it further, about 85% distilled water to 15% antifreeze. I initially wanted to use PETG tubing for the runs, but ultimately decided to try copper ones. The rest is built using various types of fitting extensions. I really tried implementing as much of the tubing as I could, unfortunately there was not enough room and I was not trusting myself to make copper tubing bends. However, after the loop failed twice, I swapped the chrome plated copper tubes to pre-bent matte black copper tubes and switched all the fittings in the loop from standard Barrow triple o-ring hardline fittings to Bykski compression fittings with one large rubber gasket that tightly grips the tubing, insuring there's no slipping. I've tested both Alphacool and EKWB o-ring type compression fittings in a makeshift hardline test loop using both matte black and chrome plated copper tubes and both eventually slipped and failed, while the Bykski single rubber gasket never failed both in testing and in the final build. Finally, I want to share some benchmarking data and temps. https://i.imgur.com/NaOTpos.png Idle temps are relatively basic, the T_sensor temp is a probe I have embedded into the pump housing to monitor its temp. As you've seen, I have a digital flow rate which also shows the water temperature in the loop and the idle water temps hover at around 34/36c. CPU at 39/42c. GPU at 34/36c. Finally, the pump is at around 38c. https://i.imgur.com/eTIANkU.png https://i.imgur.com/3wQyvX2.png https://i.imgur.com/TqzVNm3.png Stress testing the system has the GPU max out at around 73c and the CPU reaches 95c, while the water temperature hovers around 57c. I did undervolt both the GPU and CPU slightly and I think the little 160mm radiator is doing its best cooling 270 watts. This is an unrealistic use case though and the system runs a lot cooler and draws way less power while doing mundane tasks like editing or gaming. I've also included some 3DMark scores, for those who are curious. https://i.imgur.com/S2JdJuD.png Here is Resident Evil 4 Remake, running 1080p high/max settings. The CPU doesn't exceed 80c and the GPU stays at a nice 71c. The tiny 70mm fans obviously ramp up at this point, but aren't running at 100%, so theoretically I could lower the temps even more, but the fan noise would definitely start being an issue. https://i.imgur.com/Zj1iJd4.jpg Last thing I did after completing the final revision of the build was replacing the acrylic side panels with custom mesh dust filters held by magnetic strips. I think it looks much nicer and actually helps the system stay much cooler. In conclusion, this was a long and complicated journey, full of failures and struggles, but I did manage to finally finish another pointless crazy project of mine. Stay tuned for my next (arguably the craziest one yet) build, which involves a certain SFF GPU that I finally got my hands on and I can't wait to get started on that project! |

Few days later, we contacted him with our car repair estimate, the guy just disappeared. Because the estimate was high.
Now he is not answering the phone call or texts. We are considering it is hit and run, because he is not paying us.
He was refusing to provide his insurance information. We did police report. However, we only have liability insurance, so insurance company said they don’t investigate this incident.
I do have his license plate number. In this case, how should I deal w it? I mean, i want to know his insurance information, so that make a claim about this incident.
Please help me.
If insurances don’t do investigations, can i hire private investigator to help?

Now he is not answering the phone call or texts. We are considering it is hit and run, because he is not paying us.
He was refusing to provide his insurance information. We did police report. However, we only have liability insurance, so insurance company said they don’t investigate this incident.
I do have his license plate number. In this case, how should I deal w it? I mean, i want to know his insurance information, so that make a claim about this incident.
Please help me.
If insurances don’t do investigations, can i hire private investigator to help?
Anybody was in this kind of situation?

Just wondering if it's common for a front only plate to be stolen? I thought they usually take two or else you oddly have mismatching plates to be picked up?
We've just noticed our vehicle without a front plate today at lunch. Pretty sure it was there last night before we headed out to Vic park to eat. First time heading to the start of the strip near the Maccas where the road forks.... There's a back parking lot abutting red rooster and not being the main strip I presume shady pickings go on as it's more out of sight than the major Vic park streets.
For those that have had them taken is there any convenient way to continue driving legally? Car has the baby seat but supposedly the Mrs has looked into it and it's illegal to drive with one plate missing? Is there any interim way for those who need their car to drive? And is it only DOT your required to report stolen plates to? WaPol I presume link up?
Just seems like a big PITA as supposedly it's DOT in person only on a weekday... And takes weeks to get a new plate. That and we love our random plate number so it sucks to lose it. Mrs reckons its fair game to burn it. Worried about it being used unlawfully or to be hunted down mistakingly for it. Didn't want to argue as it technically isn't my car. Just a shame.
Bloody annoying and inconvenient. And of all the luck. Do those anti theft screws they used to hand out for plates work and prevent them getting taken off? Hope whoever stole it got bad luck. Presume it's for unlawful activity and organised crime or do people steal plates just to run speed cameras commonly?

There's a back parking lot abutting red rooster and not being the main strip I presume shady pickings go on as it's more out of sight than the major Vic park streets.
For those that have had them taken is there any convenient way to continue driving legally? Car has the baby seat but supposedly the Mrs has looked into it and it's illegal to drive with one plate missing? Is there any interim way for those who need their car to drive? And is it only DOT your required to report stolen plates to? WaPol I presume link up?
Just seems like a big PITA as supposedly it's DOT in person only on a weekday... And takes weeks to get a new plate. That and we love our random plate number so it sucks to lose it. Mrs reckons its fair game to burn it. Worried about it being used unlawfully or to be hunted down mistakingly for it. Didn't want to argue as it technically isn't my car. Just a shame.
Bloody annoying and inconvenient. And of all the luck. Do those anti theft screws they used to hand out for plates work and prevent them getting taken off? Hope whoever stole it got bad luck. Presume it's for unlawful activity and organised crime or do people steal plates just to run speed cameras commonly?

Hi fellow witches! (Semi) Baby witch here. First time caller, long time listener. Tonight I’m in Hawaii staying with family and wanted to do a few full moon spells. I went to a store near by to gather supplies and the person working there told me about the Hawaiian Lunar Chart. They said that today is Akua, which translates to god, goddess, spirit, or ghost. They believe this is the day when spirits are most active on the island. This person also told me a story where they went out to a beach to do a spell and something (shape shifter) followed them home and to not go out on Akua. And if I did, to smudge myself when I am going out of the house, getting out of car, doing spell, closing circle, going back to home, and in bed. They were super serious. The other person who worked there said they’d gone to the same place and it’d been fine. So not sure if this story got in my head or if everything got to me but I ended up bailing on my spells tonight.
In addition to the story above, my auntie lives by the cemetery that just had 5 weeks of active ceremony honoring ancestors. For days it’s felt very active as I’ve driven by.
I was all set and ready to perform my spells, but then kept having this creeping feeling like I shouldn’t do it tonight. That I would not be safe even if I cast a circle and closed it properly. To the point where I changed locations multiple times. From at the beach in view of the moon, to the front yard in view of the moon, to the lanai. In the lanai I set everything up and then heard rustling in the brush outside and some sort of cooing/chirping and got too spooked to continue forward. Usually I’m not this sensitive but my defenses are low right now (break up, menstruating, back pain flair up). So I packed up, smudged myself, and went inside.
Tomorrow is Hoku, still a full moon and is a day that has a much better energy (good for divination, seeking wisdom, prophesy, and good fortune)— I plan to do my spells tomorrow instead but I can’t help but feel like a big sensitive baby. Has anyone else gotten close to casting and then the vibe just felt off and stopped? I just kept feeling like it was a no for tonight over and over again. Hoping for some reassurance in my instincts. Or some wisdom and insight into it being okay to cast even if I’m feeling a bit off.

He agreed with everything I said and would defend me if I told him someone had hurt me. That made me be so into him. Because he was respectful. However, he kicked me out of his house one night at 2 AM after inviting me to stay over. And still I kept on trying to chase him and wanting more from him. I realize now how stupid I was. How low my self esteem must have been for me to do that. I did not respect myself at all.
Talking about what I felt, it was toxic and hurtful. I kept thinking that he only treated ME like this because I was ugly or worthless. Also too young and didn't have his ideal job. I kept thinking that maybe a prettier woman would have been more respected and not treated like a sexual object. That I was always his second option. Many times I felt like I wanted to cry because he wouldn't answer or wouldn't like me enough to go out with me.
The other day my angel friends came by and sat me down. They told me it was toxic and it was hurting me deeply. They told me to approach him one last time if I wanted, but if he didn't answer back that I MUST delete him everywhere. and forget him. He never answered and I did it. I was afraid of how hurt and broken I would feel. But it felt so GOOD. I was FREE again. I was not attached to a monster and player. It felt like he had disappeared from my mind. I no longer had to see him ever again. It made me so freaking happy.
