Lucifer vol 3 the wild hunt

After ten years of being a mercenary, I thought I had finally found my forever shop.
At every shop, I had worked at prior, the shops couldn’t present enough work to keep me busy, at all times. At this shop, I couldn’t keep up with the amount of work. I was in my element.
The shop was salary, but I still busted my ass. My co-workers didn’t like me much at first. They thought I was crazy producing the amount of work I was doing. “C’s get degrees, Smoke.” Eventually they realized that work was my passion and we all got along just fine.
After a few months, I realized something was a little weird about the shop. The relationship between the employees and the owner was very cultish. If someone quit, or was fired we were to never mention that persons name ever again. “His name was Robert Paulson…” I can’t stress the aura of cult enough.
The owner would state his wildly conservative, almost nazi-like, thoughts and opinions, and everyone would just agree that he was right. I always disagreed and called him short sighted. I realize, looking back, he would have fired me just for my anti-his-cult rhetoric, if I wasnt producing more than anyone he ever hired. I just can’t not say something when someone tries to tell me about the blight of the black/Mexican man on America.
One morning, I had a coffee in hand and waited for the owner to hand me my next job. He looked at me, “do you know how much I want to hit that cup out of your hand?” In front of two other employees I responded, “what the fuck is that? You a fucking sociopath? Because that’s a sociopathic thought.” His face changed and he laughed it off.
I went straight into fight mode. I was instantly unhappy. This became our relationship. He would say something a serial killer would say and I would call him out on it. Sometimes it would scare me.
He would say things like, “you’re getting fat, you should go to the gym.” “Your wife is hot I’d fuck her.” And every time I would call him out. “I’m happy with my weight. If you’ve ever starved before you would be happy with some weight as well.” “She wouldn’t touch your ugly mug with a ten foot pole.”
One day, in front of several employees the owner said, “I want to fight you.” Immediately I responded with, “Oh, I’ll fuck you up, if you want. When and where?” He scoffed the comment off. I looked at a co-worker in disbelief. The co-worker’s head snapped away from my eye contact in a submissive fashion.
About a week later the owner approached me in the morning, while holding some UFC type fighting gloves. “I brought some gloves, at lunch we fight.” “Look dude, I’ma kick your fucking ass and I WILL put you in the hospital. I’m gunna get hurt, you’re gunna get hurt, why the fuck would you want that?” He smiled a psychopathic smile, “lunch time, it’s on.” He walked away.
I looked over to the tech working next to me and he looked SCARED. I took a breath, and continued with my work. I wanted to put the owner in the hospital for a lesson in respect. I thought, “if I’m kicking his ass they are going to jump me…” I found my center and remained calm.
Lunch time rolled around and I put a long 19mm wrench in my back pocket, and pulled my shirt over it. I had decided I was getting too old and tired to fight someone, and figured as he strapped his gloves on I would just cave in his skull and be done with the shit show. If I get jumped, I get jumped.
Lunch time came around and he never exited his office. I ate my lunch and took my break, and nothing happened.
The next day, nothing. A week went by and nothing. He never spoke about it again and I never brought it up.
After sometime he decided to start to invite me to his house for get togethers and to chill. I NEVER went. I would be very blunt in my responses as well. “I’m not doing that.” “Why not?” “Because I don’t fucking want to. I have my own life. If ten hours a day, five days a week isn’t enough quality time together, then I don’t know what to tell you.”
He insisted, one Friday, that I go over to his house and watch football with him on the weekend. I declined, like I always did. He texted me that Saturday and asked if I was coming over. I texted back, “nope, I’m busy today.” “The game is tomorrow.” “Oh…. well, shit. Still no.” “Come on man come watch the game.” “I’m not interested.” He didn’t text back.
That shop was weird. I left after a year and a half for more pay and a less cultish work place.
That place was so creepy looking back. I know I have been excommunicated there. Never have heard a word from any person from that place since.
Don’t get me wrong, there was never violence at that shop. It was actually pretty chill. I never seen someone actually fight or be violent, but that threat was always there. It hung in the air like a fog.
I still don’t know why the other techs work there. All of them were 3-10 years there. They had to have had some sort of relationship with the owner that kept them there. I just don’t know what that could have been.
Never leave the market place. Mercenary till death. Loyalty gets you fucked.

now i totally understand why some folks are annoyed. hell, depending on the results of the wipe, such as the loss of certain rewards, i may be annoyed too.
let me explain.
im someone who hit a wall a couple months ago and got stuck on some missions, as a result ive played maybe 3-4 times since early april because i felt so demoralized and unmotivated. ive been bummed out because i was so in love with DMZ.
so instead of complaining, im gonna talk about some results i hope for in the upcoming wipe:
i hope for less tedious and less near impossible missions. i dont mean the neat missions like planting trackers on choppers, or exfilling special items to plant on another map, those are interesting.
i mean missions like Lachmann Weapons Testing, or missions that are just fetch quest/easter egg hunts (collect 0/30 gas masks, blowtorches, $2 billion in cash). or missions that almost require weird manipulation of game mechanics, you know, the missions where tips to complete them overwhelmingly include things like "get two of your squadmates to join another squad so you can kill them over and over to complete the mission" because its not something you can achieve by just playing normally or without playing like an asshole. also ditch missions that have 12 caveats (kill 5 operators, while solo, with a pistol, with headshots, from over 100m, on a tuesday, while dolphin diving out of a heavy chopper, and take the last exfil)
i hope they just open up building 21 all week long. this weekends only bullcrap has seriously outlived its welcome, not to mention they have the balls to have building 21 missions. so either open it up, or get rid of building 21 missions completely.
new worthwhile rewards for missions, while at the same time keeping the good rewards of the past. so keep things like skins, and blueprints (i still want that Hazardous M13b bluprint damn it!) and lose the bullcrap like contraband that no one wants and loading screen wallpapers.

Just a "check-in" - general sharing with others of similar mindset to generate discussion, learn, share, and perhaps get some thoughts on my current focus (finding PCP, finding pvt lab for blood tests).
I am: 50yo male, south asian descent, 162lbs, 5'7", body fat 23% Four horsemen status >> current focus: Decide if start statin

• genetic history of diabetes (mom diagnosed at 42, on insulin since 60yo), hypertension. I am pre-diabetic (a1c 5.8); on Metformin 1000mg/day, Lisinopril 5mg/day (hypertension)
• genetic history of heart disease (dad quad bypass at 42, passed at 62)
  • LDL-C (NIH) = 125 (prev reading high 170 after i started low carb, now back to my long-term)
  • HDL = 35
  • Trig = 160
  • Lp(a) = 44
  • Recent CAC = 0
  • Next step: ApoB, then talk to cardiologist about statin
• No genetic history of cancer, colonoscopy scheduled later this year
• No genetic history of neurodegenerative

Five lever (ENZED) status >> current focus: E(xercise).

• Exercise: Averaging 2 strength training / week, 1 zone 2; aiming to go up to 3 strength, and 2 aerobic (mix of zone 2,5) over next few months. This is my current primary focus on the levers.
• Nutrition: Got a CGM July 2022 and used it to go low carb and train myself to eat better. Lost 15lbs, my Trig fell from 300 to 160. Continuing low-carb. No fasting regimen currently. Take a multivitamin and Omega-3 daily.
• Z (sleep): Average about 7 hours, withings scanwatch consistently reports poor depth of sleep. Wear a prescription mouthguard for sleep apnea. Next step - try CPAP (have it already just haven't been using it). Use 1/2 Advil PM, and 1 Magtein (Magnesium L-threonate) daily.
• Emotions: In a good place. At some point will focus on this to get my meditation practice restarted.
• Drugs: Noted in right places above already. Not really focused on this currently except need to decide re statin as noted above.

Other focus:

• Find a PCP - a continuing journey. Am with One Medical. I tried Wild Health but didn't continue. Currently considering Parsley Health and Five Journeys (a Boston holistic health group of PCPs).
• Figure out how can self-order and do blood tests - want to track my bio markers at higher frequency.

Key: BFN = Battle for Neighborville, GW = Garden Warfare, PvZ = Plants versus Zombies.
BFN, was a disappointing game. It was PvZ's equivalent to the (for now) MCU's Eternals. I believe that PopCap can make up for this mistake, by making a new game that will blow our expectations out of our expansive minds. PopCap made a lot of mistakes and changes that we didn't want, need or accept. Although this was a harsh blow to the series, it does not mean the end of 3rd person shooters. Time and time again we have proven that PvZ GW2 was and still is a huge success. PopCap can easily make a popular game like GW2 again if they make drastic but easily possible changes to the game. These can be separated into different categories: texture and actions, lobby area, customisation and special gamemodes and challenges. (Skip to the bottom for a brief yet uninformative summary) Texture: I disliked the texture of BFN. It was too, ordinary and drastically different from the original textures. The previous texture were a lot more immersive and looked more like they were real alien-like creature than just simulated characters. Furthermore, I thought some of the characters, animations (such as shooting and running) were just too goofy, wild and even cringy sometimes. It should be nerfed. The old textures were a lot easier to understand in GW2. They were a lot less messy, and more organized. The Cera angles are strange as well. You must think less goofily. I dislike the frozen silhouettes of Dr. Zomboss and Crazy Dave. I also didn't like the design either, to detailed. We want a more childish approach.
Lobby: The lobby was too social. The lobby was much better when it was a private personal backyard. It gave the player freedom, a sense of control which is positive for anyone's mental health (as long as it's not overused😅) It was also too disorganised and hard to navigate. The GW2 backyard was much more easily accessible and understandable. It was also nice that everything could be accessed physically, not through a magic screen that appears out of nowhere, such as through a book in a giant tree or through a customisation booth. It is also very difficult to navigate the central area; find all of the secrets and hit all the targets, with all the players running about trying to kill you, like surrounding the safe area. It was better with all of the personal and more exciting activities such as the flag, all the secret quests. Obviously the trials of Gnomus ( will talk about later. ) It was very fun the entering the other base and fighting the other enormous amounts of bosses 😄. I also miss the sewer, that created a new atmosphere.
Customisation: I believe it was better the previous upgrading strategy, where you could get certain upgrades from sticker packs instead of only being able to upgrade yourself to a small extent of the full potential. Furthermore, I miss the different abilities like Bling. Most importantly, the different variants are gone. 😭😭😱. A devastating blow. Theyust be added back in. Paramount importance.
Special Gamemodes and Challenges: The trials of Gnomus or at least something similar should definitely be added. It was such an amazing journey getting the keys, fighting the bosses, but most especially, getting hovergoat an Torchwood. The crème de la crème of PvZ GW2. It was truly amazing. I dearly miss the Dino's Vs Cats gamemode and the boss hunt. Rose were awesome. I really think you reboot the town hall gamemodes.
I do think there are many positives to what you have continued to do, in spite of what I've said. The increase of characters was nice, but I felt the equaling of characters ruined the creativity in this case. This is organization in the wrong place. I like the town centre map and the exciting battles that take place and the quests I guess. The challenges do make the game fun and exciting
All in all you have the possibility of creating a phenomenal game. You shouldn't accept defeat for your mistakes, but improve, learn from your mistakes to make a better game. Finish the garden warfare trilogy ( cause BFN isn't really part of it). It will revive the series to its prime ages. It will begin to shine again.

In an earlier dev stream, the devs mentioned if they'd add new missions, they'd love to explore possibilities for simple mission types such as mining morkite or eggs. So why not explore these 3 simple mission types?;
Pest Control On the map, there exist between 2 // 3 // 4 hives each belonging to a specific creature type. Disturbing the hive triggers an artificial swarm of that one creature type. Destroying the hive entirely or grinding your way through the swarm ends it and succeeds clearing that hive.
Stabilization Part of dwarven life, and part of diving into Hoxxes, is of course to ensure the planet doesn't collapse onto your fellow dwarves. 3 // 5 // 7 locations within the cave are marked as unstable. The goal is to summon a supply drop containing fortifications (Carried item) and construct them. 1 // 2 // 3 of the spots among them however may trigger a swarm when summoning the supply drop.
Containment Containment is a 'flashback' mission that will deal with past, but also new, season threats. You're basically the 'clean-up' crew of remnants that once threatened hoxxes. The objective is to clear out 2 // 3 // 3 "Season Event spawns" (Giant Lithophage Meteor, Rival Comms Router, etc). On long misssions, rather than a fourth event spawn, the mission will instead always house the hazard associated to that type (Rival Pressence // Lithophage Outbreak)
Meteor Hunt A zone is marked for continuous meteor impacts that bear valuable metals DRG needs for R&D. In the map, there will be 2 // 2 // 3 areas where a couple of Fragmented Meteors (reskinned from fragmented lithophage meteors) have landed, with another 1 // 2 // 2 Fragmented Meteor Storms landing as the mission progresses. The objective is to mine the meteor fragments for their metals, and get out.

hello everyone,
as the tittle says i am a returning player and i havent played in about 3 years, i bought premium around an hour ago and decided to go for a hunt, after the hunt finished i asked myself if xbow is the way to go now, or still is the bow, also what places can i hunt at this lvl? i have a few vl 250 armors and a bow of destruccion. since is double exp weekend i dont mind spending some money to lvl up faster so any help with spawns would be greatly appretiated it :) thanks in advance

Tons of common foods have way more vitamin C than oranges. Peppers have 3 times more vitamin C than oranges, kiwis, strawberries, kale, and spinach all have double the vitamin C. And some less common plants like wild garlic mustard can have up to 4 times the amount of vitamin C as an orange. So how and why did Oranges become the one food we all associate with Vitamin C? Even medicine and health supplement containers put oranges on their packaging to let you know that it has vitamin C.

I got a pair of CoolerMaster MH752s and they've been amazing. I had also gotten an Apple type C - 3.5 dongle to test out, but it doesn't seem to work with the headphones. Not on my phone nor my laptop. I doubt there's something wrong with the cable as an older pair of JBL earbuds do work on both devices. Are the MH752s not compatible with the dongle as they've got a separate soundcard? A wild guess, probably untrue.

Hi there! I apologize for any mistakes that stem from being inexperienced, this is my first post here. I have been thinking about posting Hungarian cases on the sub, but this is the first time I actually found the time to do it. I will attach a few sources - English ones seem to be impossible to come by, although there might be one or two related to a possible theory that was since dismissed, I will attach these. The following post is a loose translation of information coming from Hungarian Wikipedia and other Hungarian news articles.
Background
Nikolett Edit Szathmáry was born on July 8, 1990, in Gyula, Békés county, Hungary, to parents Sándor Szathmáry and Edit Szilágyi. Her hometown, Gyula has a population of ~28 000 people and lies in the southeastern corner of Hungary, 5 kilometres (3 miles) from the border with Romania. Most likely due to Nikolett's young age, there is very little information available regarding her upbringing, but it is known that her parents divorced and Nikolett lived with her mother, Edit and her two brothers. (Edit remarried in 2011, to one of the police officers that were involved in the case.) In 1998, at the time of the disappearance, Nikolett was a student in the local No. 5 Elementary School, and Edit supported the family by working as a cleaner in local exhibition halls. Nikolett was a happy, joyful child who was very attached to her mother, but she was also very confident for her age and she regularly walked home on her own from school. She liked to go out in nature with her uncle to watch wild ducks, often went to her friends' homes to hang out with them, and attended extracurricular activities like folk dance classes.
Disappearance
Wednesday, January 14, 1998 started as a regular day for the family. In a 2001 interview, Edit recalled the day of her disappearance: "It was a completely average morning. I woke her up, brought her a cup of cocoa, then we went to school together. We said goodbye to each other, she spent the day in school, then around 2 PM, she walked to her folk dance class. The class was over sometime before 4 PM, they let the kids go a little early that day. Shortly after 4 PM, I went to pick her up, although I previously told her I would not be able to pick her up that day. I wrapped up work and headed out [to Ferenc Erkel Cultural Centre, where her class was]. Maybe if I chose to head home instead, we would've met halfway."
Nikolett did not stay behind to wait for her mother. She began to walk home, as she did many times before without any issues. She left the Cultural Centre in downtown Gyula around 4 PM, and during the walk home, she encountered her pediatrician. They chatted for a little bit and walked together for a while. However, they parted at the neighborhood grocery store, and Nikolett continued on her way alone. Most articles say that this store was no further than 300 metres (about 1000 feet) from her home. According to the receipt the pediatrician showed to police, she paid at the grocery store check-out counter at 4:08. After this point, there were no eyewitnesses that ever saw Nikoletta alive again.
Edit was not particularly worried at first when Nikolett was not home in time, as she was known to visit friends after school on occasion. Until 8 PM, the family tried looking for her in places she could possibly have been, to no avail. At this point, they called the police. A warrant was issued for a blue-eyed girl, around 140 - 145 cm (4' 7" - 4' 9") tall, wearing a purple jacket, pink knitted hat, a green sweatshirt, and a yellow school backpack. The Békés County Police Department searched the town of Gyula and the adjacent woods and wetlands, with no results. Hundreds of police officers were deployed to the town to assist with the search. Special K9 units were also deployed, including Mancs ("Paw"), Hungary's most famous German Shepherd rescue dog who later saved a 3-year-old girl in the aftermath of the 1999 Izmit earthquake in Turkey, and participated in the search and rescue efforts during the 2001 earthquakes in El Salvador and India. 3 000 apartments were searched in the neighbourhood, and they even drained a canal that runs through the town of Gyula. Search helicopters were also used. However, despite the efforts, police was unable to locate Nikolett. Police processed hundreds of reports, none of which lead to any progress with the investigation.
The Békés County Police Department offered a 3 million HUF (around 14 000 USD at the time, a very large sum in 1998 Hungary) to anyone who could provide useful information regarding the circumstances of the disappearance. The mayor of Gyula offered another 500 000 HUF (~2 300 USD). Neither reward was ever claimed. Due to the events, fear spread through the town, and parents did not allow their children to go anywhere on their own. Baseless rumours started spreading, linking Nikolett's disappearance to organ harvesting, but there was no evidence to suggest this. Moreover, Gyula's closeness to the Romanian border and relative closeness to Serbia also led to speculations that Nikolett's disappearance could be the work of a local who escaped the country, or a foreigner who just arrived in town. An international warrant was also issued and Nikolett was added to Interpol's list of missing children worldwide.
Location of the body
For the next three years, there were absolutely no advancements in the case, until February 20, 2001. Thatching workers were collecting straw in the wetlands by Road 44 near the outskirts of Gyula, when they found a large plastic bag. They realized that the bag contained human remains, and the police were informed. Forensic experts determined that the body was likely submerged in water for an extended period of time. Police claimed that this may have been the reason why rescue dogs did not alert in 1998 when the same area was searched. The body found was in a completely skeletal state, with only a blouse and a pair of socks. The backpack, coat, pants, and underwear were never found. Due to these circumstances, it was theorized that she may have been sexually assaulted, although any concrete evidence of that would have been long gone. DNA samples were taken - actually, this was the first case ever in Hungary where DNA was extracted from bones. Getting the results took over six months, which confirmed that the located remains belonged to Nikolett Szathmáry. Finally, the family was able to have a proper burial for her.
Possible perpetrators
According to one article, an anonymous police officer claimed to media that "investigators had and still have suspicions about a possible perpetrator, but there was never enough evidence to support a criminal case". A man named Mihály Rostás, who was 39 years old at the time, was the main suspect. This man committed a few murders in the area; he had three confirmed victims. He committed his first murder in Sarkad, a town 14 kilometres (about 9 miles) north of Gyula. After an argument in a pub, he followed and stabbed his victim to death. He dragged the body to the nearby wetlands and hid it there. (This does show similarities to Nikolett's case.) The second case was the brutal double murder of an elderly couple that happened in Sándorhegy, a suburb of Gyula. After this murder, Rostás was still at large, living in Gyula at the time of Nikolett's disappearance. In early 1998, when she disappeared, he lived less than 2 kilometres from where Nikolett's remains were found. Later, Rostás was caught by police and was sentenced to life in prison for the three murders. Investigators regularly interrogated Rostás in prison. According to the anonymous officer's report, he said: "I know why you are here, I know what you want to hear. I want to live". The death penalty in Hungary was abolished in 1990 - Rostás likely referred to the fact that being known as a child-murderer could have resulted in his death by the hands of his fellow prisoners. He died in prison without ever confessing to any crimes other than the three murders.
Another lead, that is most likely false but still worth mentioning, was discovered on August 2, 2021. A man from Gyula named László Horváth was arrested by police on the suspicion of having produced child pornography. Horváth, a well-known local figure, was a karate instructor, and a report from the parents of a pupil of his resulted in his arrest: the 10-year-old claimed that Horváth touched him inappropriately. The case was heavily politicized due to Horváth having been a local candidate for the political party Jobbik. Jobbik, once characterized as a nationalistic, far-right party, took an unexpected turn in the late 2010s: the far-right radicals in the party leadership left to form another party, and the remaining leadership steered Jobbik in a more centre-right direction, even going as far as joining centre-left parties in a coalition to defeat Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's party, Fidesz, in the 2022 election. This move made Jobbik a newfound enemy of Hungarian media outlets owned by the government party or its associates. This was likely the reason that as soon as DNA was taken from László Horváth as part of standard police procedures, multiple news sources jumped to make connections between Nikolett's case and Horváth, a suspected pedophile living in the same town where she was murdered. One news source, Magyar Narancs, correctly concluded that it is unlikely that the fact DNA was taken had anything to do with Nikolett's case, as her remains had no DNA evidence that could be linked to the killer. I'll bet someone has put this out there but I haven't seen it. I'm including spoilers through the end of S2, so proceed with caution if you're not caught up.
So here's what we know for sure:
1) It's pretty clear that Lottie's not telling the whole story about Travis' death.
2) The part they showed (but she didn't tell Natalie) was her vision of Laura Lee, so we know that at that point in time, Lottie's visions had already returned.
3) Lottie had been tracking all of the Yellowjackets. We saw the files in her office late in S2, so it's entirely possible, if not likely, that she had access to Travis' banking information before that night.
4) Throughout the entire series, Lottie is constantly talking about spilling blood to honor the wilderness. Violence and primal carnage are a huge part of their spiritual connection to the wilderness, and human sacrifices via ritual hunting are the apex of it that what we've seen so far (Natalie/Javi in the wilderness, the hunt that kills Natalie at the compound, Lottie's hallucination of her psychiatrist that says "Does a hunt that has no violence feed anyone?")
5) This may just be cinematography, but when Lottie comes to after her vision of Laura Lee when Travis dies, he appears to be hanging much higher than the shot when we saw the button get stuck.
6) There is a lot of ambiguity between what is real and what is supernatural in the show, and that is definitely intentional. I think the mundaneness of Travis' death is acceptable to Natalie (and superficially to the audience) at this point, because that line has been blurred so much, but I think it's going to turn out to be something more sinister.
So here's my theory:
Lottie had a vision or hallucination and became posessed by the wildnerness/"it". She somehow came into contact with Travis, and kidnaps him. She take him to the ranch where he works and sacrifices him to the wilderness. She set up the candles in the symbol, and hanged him on the crane, all under hallucination. She has the vision of Laura Lee, and then comes to. When she realizes what she's done, she cleans everything up and runs, leaving it to look like a suicide. She then empties his bank account, because even though she's a spiritual healing guru now, she was still raised ultra-rich and the materialism she was raised in is still there (e.g. when she got irritated that there was maca root instead of ashwaganda in her morning drink and then threw it away).
There are definitely some holes in this theory, but I think it definitely fills in more than it makes. I still can't decisively figure out:
1) how Lottie and Travis got into contact in the first place... but I think the Natalie/Travis/Lottie spirit sex scene right before Jackie gets cooked might be a clue. However, that seems like a plot piece we're not meant to know until we know (perhaps a Lottie confession?).
2) what the note meant "Tell Nat she was right." I'm not ruling out that it wasn't even Travis who wrote it--it may have been Lottie or someone else.
3) how Nat's OD before rehab fits into the narrative. She said something about bringing the darkness back with them. It feels too relevant to the timeline of Travis' death to not somehow be part of this. Maybe Lottie knew she said that, and she (in her posessed state) wrote the note?
