Date of writing: February 14th, 2016 I am a speedrunner. For those of you who don't know what that is, well, to put it simply, I'm a person who tries to complete games as fast as humanly possible, sometimes with certain gimmicks to make the run different, like disabling certain options, avoiding collectables, you get the jist of it. I sometimes do speedrunning for a living. I have also won a couple of world records and have been speedrunning for many, many years.
I'm also an Easter Egg hunter. For those of you who also don't know what that is, an Easter Egg hunter is a person who tries to find hidden messages and cool hidden references in video games, no matter how hard they are to find.
That being said, last Wednesday, I experienced something that I don't think I will ever forget, not because I achieved anything noteworthy or impressive, but because I still am unsure of what exactly happened that fateful day...
A few months back, a friend of mine on Steam gifted me a copy of the game: Undertale. Back then, I had practically known nothing about it; all I really knew was that it was the origin media of that weird looking short skeleton with a glowing blue eye that had been popping every now and then on social media, I wasn't reluctant to trying it out for myself at all, so I gave it a go.
I was surprised, yet amazed at how the game managed to convey so many emotions through the use of simplistic visuals and pixels, even more-so by the fact that about 98% of it was made by one single human being who had never made a full game from scratch before in his entire life.
On my first playthrough, I had killed some monsters in presumably self-defense, including the first major boss: Toriel. I had also killed the third major boss: Undyne, and Mettaton; the 4th major boss. I made it to the end of the run and fought Asgore, whom I thought would be the final boss, only to be greeted by the nefarious Flowey.
Flowey managed to spook me with great shock, due to his game-crashing shenanigans, and his extremely out-of-place, vile 7-soul form known as Omega or Photoshop Flowey, which was a bit challenging, but fun and game-changing. I managed to beat Flowey, I felt infringed by his constant and unpleasant misdemeanors, yet, I felt the necessity to spare him, and so I did.
I then proceeded to get a phone call from Sans detailing the wrong and good doings of my journey and the future of the underground as it currently stands, though, I wasn't happy with what I got and felt that there was more to this game than meets the eye, after all, growing up with games like Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex, the Playstation 2's trilogy of Grand Theft Auto games, and Sonic The Hedgehog 3 taught me that games always had something offered in every nook and cranny, no matter how obscured or hard to find, after all, it had been passed on to my way of making a living in the form of Easter Egg hunting, so I thought to myself: "why not give this game another go to see what it had to offer with it's connective yet mysterious tone and nature?"
So, I decided to replay it once more, only this time befriending every monster and unlocking the true, pacifist ending. The ending genuinely touched my heart, and I was happy with the results I had gotten... or so I thought.
When I completed the Pacifist route, part of me felt there was a possibility of more endings, after all, I went back into the game to see if there were any more possible endings, especially since I was heavily considering speedrunning and Easter Egg hunting and I didn't want any part of the game to spoiled, so I didn't look-up anything...
To my surprise, I was greeted by Flowey; who told me my actions can have severe consequences, if not acted upon correctly. Everyone has their own life and you've made it that way, and should always keep it that way; after all, if I wish happiness for myself, why wouldn't I wish it for others?... But then, it dawned on me... These are just cartoonish characters, they don't have actual lives, feelings, or any of that sort; they're just silly, fun little illusions created by the author: Toby Fox to feel a sense of connection to the world of Undertale. And so, I decided it was just a no brainer to ignore Flowey, at least for now...
I reset, and started a new run. I quickly thought of ways to differentiate this playthrough from all previous ones, I planned on what could impact this run like no other. I was thinking at the time and muttered to myself within my own conscience:
"So, in my first run, I killed some enemies, but I left others to flee, on my second run (which was the previous one), I not only spared every enemy, but I befriended the boss characters... just what if on this run, the goal was to kill as many NPCs as fathombly possible?..."
And so, I started my 3rd, and what I assumed to be my last major playthrough of the game, I kept running in circles, slaughtering every single being that came in-sight in every room of the game, until the message "But nobody came." would pop into my battle screen with an unsettlingly slow piano performance following me until I encountered anything important to the story of the game.
I fought Undyne the Undying, who was to my surprise a pretty tough battle, though, she couldn't stop me from defeating her and continuing my merciless genocide. I "fought" Mettaton's NEO form (Or what I'd like to refer to as a Non-Effective Obstacle), Flowey told me about his story as the Ex-Prince of the Underground as I had taken his once human friend's identity, then IT happened:
Sans was just standing there, patiently waiting for what I felt would be an unpleasant experience, and it was. The fight was one of the hardest I'd ever fought in my video-game experiences, his attacks were surprising and hard to maneuver, and I finally got to know the thingamajig behind that blue glowing eye.
Despite all his efforts and tricks, Sans was futile against me, as after many, MANY, attempts, I managed to beat him and got a very bittersweet feeling while doing so, on one hand I was satisfied that I had finally beaten him after all those tries with my hard efforts, but I still felt... guilt as I describe it. I had managed to clear many waves of innocent monsters for the absolute sake of it, and I still felt some semblance of guilt, even if they were just mere pixels.
I merely brushed that feeling aside and continued. I was expecting some kind of even harder showdown with either Asgore, Flowey, or both, but to my surprise... nothing was set up, no hype or hints of it. Asgore didn't look willing to fight and without even me touching my keyboard, he was automatically slashed, Flowed assisted in his own father's death for mercy, but he ended up getting slashed and mutilated to absolutely nothing...
Right after that, I was greeted by a child in a green shirt, who looked like the player characte... They offered me a choice: to erase the world that I've been playing in... or not... very reluctantly, I chose to erase the world. The figure told me that I had no real control over the fate of this world after all the actions that I've done, then it jumpscared me, erased the game world out of my cognitive desires, and then popped the game shut.
What ensued was the most chilling feeling I ever got playing the game: upon rebooting the game, I was met with a blank black screen, with no sounds other than the essence of a howling, cold wind. I kept pressing random buttons on my keyboard, but nothing was of effect. After waiting for what I think was a solid 10 minutes, I was then greeted by slow text, presumably by that figure: CHARA, which made me feel guilty, over a fictional world.
The text was wondering why I wanted to go back to a world that I destroyed, and I really felt that I deserved this, after all: why would someone want to go back to a world that they destroyed and pushed it to the edge? they got what they wanted, but yet they weren't satisfied with their destruction that they grindfully decided... feeling guilty, yet ever-so curious, I decided to agree to the deal I was given, I sold my soul to the being talking to me unsure of what was coming and wanting to discover more about the game...

Hey everyone, TLDR; where to buy or how to build an independant Auto Resin feed unit.
So I have Anycubics Photon m3 Max and I love the fact it has the auto resin refill unit, it saves me from helicoptering my print for 20+ hours. Anycubic also sells the feeder unit seperatly (as a replacement part), however I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on if it would be possible to make an independent feeder unit utilising anycubics part ?
It appears that the motor section has a 6 pin socket (my best guess is 2 for power, 2 data for each pin of the probe to speak to the printerboard but im not a electronics guy) and neg/pos for the lid based siphon section. Wondering if anybody knows of a pre exsisting unit that does this operation already, or how you could go about making something like this ?
I'm aware of gravity feed versions that you can print etc but I'm specifically looking for a powered unit. I have also looked at DIY water pump builds that operate the same way as the resin feeder using a 12v peristaltic pump but Im uncertain of resin conductivity with copper probes, or the proccess of making/ordering prefab boards from something like PCBway or the like. So trying to use something already made for this purpose made sense but DIY is fine to if I can find the info.
My first thought was maybe using an arduino of some sort or fabricating a board with the necessary components etc but im not sure of what it would need or how to do it , I'm considering posting this to another community but not sure who would be able to help with this kind of stuff, so this was my first port of call to see if anyone had ideas, alternatives, or suggestions. All thoughts welcome, thanks in advance.

2023.06.03 10:28 Sammysnek ITAW for a seat belt tongue that removes slack and auto locks?
In my 2000 dodge vehicle the passenger side seat belt tongue has some sort of a locking feature on it where, when buckled, if you pull the seat belt to tighten the waist down (take out slack) the tongue auto "locks" and does not feed the webbing backwards (give slack) unless you unbuckle -- hence the waist portion of the seat belt can get tighter and tighter over the course of a drive. The driver's side tongue doesn't do this and allows the seat belt webbing to move freely through the visible single slot/hole; allowing the driver to move their hips freely throughout the drive. I am not talking about ELALR functions as these relate to the upper retractor, not the tongue/buckle. I also don't need to know the part number or tongue/buckle type. Is there a word for the kind of locking mechanism found on the tongue of certain seat belt buckles?

After I got home I was just curious and the Interstate website says the MTP does not fit my vehicle and suggested the MTX. I always thought you were punished in sim racing games for using the assists, i know you lose a lot of time in iracing using autoclutch/blip
I assumed this was the same in assetto, infact I'm still not sure if it is or not but I've noticed the overwhelming majority of top lap times in manual h pattern cars are using auto clutch on RSR live timings, i've also noticed a lot of touge runs on youtube where they're clearly using autoclutch or clutchless shifting with 0 damage turned on.
basically im just trying to get a definite answer or opinions, I personally just use w.e assists the cars have in reality, so TCS ABS on GT3 cars etc but honestly if its faster to autoclutch i might have to switch that on road going/classic cars.
btw i know immersion plays a part but im using a g29 on a desk so thats not really a factor

2023.06.03 07:35 revderrick Tower Defense Scenario went great tonight! Here are my rules, hope you enjoy!
Just had a blast running my group of 5 10th level PCs through this tower (manor) defense for the session. They managed to survive until the 7th round, when their allies arrived to end the scenario in their favor. They had one PC down, another two around 10 hp, two of their Fronts destroyed and a 3rd ready to crumble next round, so things really ended in the nick of time. It took us about 3 hours to run through the 7 rounds. If you wanted to make things easier and quick you could have the allies arrive initially on an earlier round, which they can then speed up with some lucky roles in the Invocation Chamber.
They didn't use the Bolster Defenses action at all. Maybe that should be a move instead of an action? Although maybe it's better as an action to leave for a desperate moment, but add to the healing?
Their manor has a garden hedge surrounding the back yard, so that gave them an extra Front. They also have 50 awakened shrubs that they can form into awakened trees by combining 10 shrubs (or 2 mobs for the scenario) as part of their established manor defenses.
These monsters were all lightning themed, because they're currently being assaulted by the Elemental Prince of Lightning.
Tower Defense Rules The party has to hold out while reinforcements come in 10 “rounds”. Each round is 5-10 minutes of real time. At the start of each round, a certain number of enemies appear and a special event happens, based on the table below. If enemies “approach” they have to use their first turn only moving and thus get no attack (except for Front 2, which has no approach). If the enemies “appear’ they begin adjacent to the Front and can attack it that turn.
Enemies are either mobs or stompers. Mobs are big groups of small enemies. Stompers are big single brutes. If they survive to the end, they gain a short rest while their allies come to their aid, before the Lightning Prince shows up and a boss fight commences.
Monster don't roll initiative, instead taking action(s) on designated turns. Monsters don’t roll to hit Fronts, just deal auto damage. Roll as normal to hit defenders. All mobs can occupy another creature’s space and vice versa, and the mob can move through any Front w/ 0 hp. The mob has advantage on Strength and Dexterity ability checks and saving throws. Effects that use an area of effect deal double damage to the mob as long as the mob has half of its hit points or more. All mobs are immune to: charmed, frightened, grappled, paralyzed, petrified, prone, restrained, stunned unless it affects an area of creatures.
Any creature that ends its turn in a mob’s area or within 30 feet of the mob and the mob can see it, is targeted by an attack. All defenders grant advantage when outside a defensive Front or within a compromised one.
The house is divided into 5 Fronts (6 if the assault on the basement commences). 1- Front door, 2- North Wall, 3- South Wall, 4- Garden Hedge, 5- East Wall, 6- Basement. When a Front collapses, the monsters gain access beyond it, so to the house for 1, 2 & 5, to the garden for 4, and to the basement for 3. When an area is compromised, all special rooms within are lost. If 3 Fronts fall before reinforcements arrive, the PCs lose the house and the battle.
At the start of the combat, they have all 50 shrubs active, in groups of 5.
Each round, a PC can take following action(s). Most actions take their typical action to use.
- Attack enemies. Action: Move to the front lines to deliver an attack against an enemy or mob.
- Direct allies. Bonus: Move up to CHA mod worth of shrub mobs/trees from one adjacent front to another, or combine up to CHA mod shrubs in same front into a tree.
- Reinforce defenses. Action: Make relevant ability check to shore up defenses in one section. HP added based on roll, DC based on current defense HP.
- DC 12 + 1 per 10 damage.
- Result <10, -10 hp
- Result >10 but < DC-5, 0 hp
- Result >DC-5 but
- Result = DC up to DC +4, +15 hp
- Result DC+5 or higher, +25 hp
- Bolster allies. Action: Make relevant ability check to remove negative condition from CHA mod allies.
- Use a special room. Varies: see below.
- Other. Varies: Use a skill or spell in a creative manner!
Each special room has an ability that can be tapped during the battle:
- Baths (4 uses): Action. Get a short rest, plus 30 temp hp.
- Can spend 2 full turns and 2 uses for long rest, plus 30 temp hp.
- Battle Ring (Once per turn, can’t be same turn as Theater): Bonus. Your or ally’s next attack does double damage.
- Theater (Once per turn, can’t be used same turn as Battle Ring): Bonus. Give (up to your Cha mod) allies advantage on their next d20 roll.
- Garden (2 uses): Action. Allow yourself or an ally to heal as if they spent 2 healing surges, or remove one negative condition on each ally.
- Library (Once per turn): Action. Choose one enemy or mob of enemies: All attacks versus that enemy are made with advantage and deal double damage until the start of your next turn.
- Sewers (One use per Front): Bonus. Sneak through the sewers to catch your enemy on their flank. Your next attack kills an enemy as long as you hit. You grant advantage to all attacks until you get back behind a Front.
- Topiary Garden (Once per turn). Action. Generate 5 points of allies, up to the max of 50.
- Arcanist Study. Action. Choose one:
- (Once per turn) Regain a spell slot of level 1d4+1 or lower.
- (3 uses) When taken in conjunction with another’s reinforce defenses action: Reinforce action made with advantage, restores 2x hp.
- Invocation Chamber. Action. Choose one:
- (Once per turn) Speed approach of allies by 1 round with a successful Arcana or Religion DC 12 + 3 per previous check.
- (3 uses) Contact other plane. You or an ally gains advantage on all d20 rolls until you/they fail a d20 roll.

| So we've all heard the blatant misinformation of: "Brawl Boxes are returning", everywhere on the site. I'm sure it's safe to say that most people now know this is NOT the case, and that RNG will be reintroduced in a form similar to Brawl Boxes, that being a mystery reward with the same dopamine kick that we all love within Gacha Games. I'd like to share about my thoughts on this new gacha and what it could potentially be 1: What the new Gacha will definitely NOT be. It has been confirmed that the new Gacha will NOT touch the Starr Road, an already close to perfect system. However, there is some questioning around the community around if the Gacha will touch progression as a whole. The common opinion I've seen thrown around has been: "As long as it's only for cosmetics, I'm fine with it." With these comments becoming the top upvoted opinions, it's safe to assume the community does not want the Gacha to be based on coins, power points, etc. No one wants unfair progression, and it's clear the dev team doesn't want that either. https://www.reddit.com/Brawlstars/comments/13frkd7/idea_daily_spin/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 This means the "Daily Wheel" is not an option (may be disappointing for some). 2. What the new Gacha might be. With progression being taken out of the picture, there is only one category left: Cosmetics. This includes pins, sprays and skins being probable for being included in the Gacha. Bling + GACHA = Random pins/random sprays/random skins This is only a generalized concept. There are many ways which this idea could go, in which we will be exploring in this section. Please comment more ideas if yall got some! Skin Boxes Players can spend x bling, or maybe alternatively, x gems for 1 skin box. Common pins/sprays naturally have a higher drop rate and super rare/epic skins naturally have an extremely low drop rate (vice versa for collector pins and rare skins) Legendary skins could either be or be not included. Skin Banner (Standard and Limited) I know some people won't like this comparison but just hear me out here (genshin = bad!!!) This is what I meant by a \"Skin Banner\" For those who aren't familiar with character banners, they're basically what makes most gacha games "gacha" in the first place. Players would spend premium currency towards a pool of items/characters and gain random prizes out of that pool. There is an option to do a "single summon" or "multi summons" (ranging from 3x to 10x, and usually at a discounted price than just doing ten single summons). A standard banner is just the default feature defined above. However, a limited banner is a secondary special banner: Limited time and has a unique pool of featured characters with increased drop rates. It is this specific feature that is what makes people addicted to many gachas, the hype between each new banner, the overwhelming dopamine rush when summoning a featured character, most specially the featured one with the highest rarity. So, how would it function in Brawl Stars? Let's take some semi-calculated numbers and make hypothetical blueprint of what it would look like: Prices: - Single Roll: 500 Bling

Welcome to June, and also the latest Project: Gorgon update! This update contains a new much-requested skill, Angling, as well as new UI features, quests, balancing, and a ton of bug fixes.
Bugs! Update: the following are known bugs in this update -- no need to report them. If you see OTHER bugs, please report them!
- Animal forms are able to angle - kind of - and that is unintentional. Angling is intended to require hands.
- The Angling ability 'Catch and Release' gives 25% XP, not 25% bonus XP.
- You can target certain angling fish before they exist. You shouldn't be able to target them at all.
- Some of the angling abilities have old test descriptions.
- The new AoE indicator doesn't display in some outdoor areas.
Main Story
We've expanded the main story quest-line by a few steps. If you've already reached the point in the storyline where you were asked to have dinner with Jessina (via a hang out), the hang out is now available, and you should log in to see that your character has a "reminder quest" to hang out with Jessina.
New Camera Types
Players come to us from different games with different control schemes and camera views, and they often ask us if we can imitate the camera styles they're used to. So we gave it a try! We know that getting movement behavior just right can be tricky, so
please give us feedback on how these work for you.
There are now 3 camera types to choose from, located in Settings > Controls:
- Traditional Camera: How the camera has always worked. Right-click rotates your character, left-click rotates only the camera. Mouse is always available.
- Free Camera: Camera control is completely separate from character control. Mouse is always available.
- Action Camera: Mouse movement always controls character. Mouse cursor is only available when a UI window is open, or when the Toggle Cursor key is pressed (configurable). NOTE: only available in the new selection system!
AoE Visibility
Area-of-Effect abilities that are centered on the caster now have a visualization for their range.
- When an ability is used, the AOE range briefly displays on the ground as a circle.
- When an AOE ability icon is hovered over, its AOE range displays on the ground for as long as it's hovered over.
- Visibility is configurable via Settings > GUI > Windows & HUD > Abilities & Items > "Show Beneficial AOE Areas" & "Show Detrimental AOE Areas". By default they are "Party Members Only" & "Self Only" respectively. Detrimental enemy AOEs will always display.
- Many "aura"-type pets display their aura ranges in a similar fashion, such as a druid's Healing Sanctuary or a fairy's Fae Conduit. These should also follow the visibility settings described above.
- Note: as of this update, all AoE abilities are centered on the caster, except for two Weather Witching abilities that are explicitly centered on the target. Previously, all AoEs were centered on the target, but the game didn't say that anywhere, and most players assumed it was centered on the caster! So this seems much more intuitive. But if there are specific AoE abilities that you feel should be centered on the target instead of the caster, please let us know and we'll consider it.
Angling
Traditionally, fishing in Project: Gorgon has involved scooping fish up out of the water with your bare hands -- what we might call 'tickling' the fish. And that's fine, as far as it goes. It takes real skill! But not all fish can be caught this way. (And more importantly, players have told us that an MMO "needs" to have traditional fishing in order to feel like a complete MMO.)
So we've expanded Fishing with a new sub-skill: Angling. All you need is a fishing pole, some bait, and a body of water with catchable fish. (Also Fishing 15. And hands!) In order to get started, talk to Roshun the Traitor in Serbule.
The precise mechanics of Angling aren't spelled out in the game at the moment. Since this game focuses on exploration, we expect players to be able to figure out how Angling works. Please let us know what parts of the system were hard to figure out, and we'll work to make those bits more obvious.
Skills & Abilities
From here out (and probably through the rest of beta), we'll be making small balance changes. We don't want to overnerf/overbuff things, so most changes will be relatively modest, and then we'll re-evaluate and adjust further after more observation.
Warden: We've revised the formulae used for damage reflection, which resulted in nerfs to Privacy Field. On the other hand, multiple bug fixes actually increase the Warden's power significantly in other ways.
- Privacy Field abilities: reduced base ability damage (Privacy Field 5 changed from 196 -> 138)
- Treasure: "Privacy Field deals +60 damage to all melee attackers, and the first melee attacker is knocked away": 60 => 42
- Treasure: "Privacy Field also deals its damage when you are hit by burst attacks, and damage is +86": 86 => 47
- Treasure: "Privacy Field also deals its damage when you are hit by ranged attacks, and damage is +57": 57 => 48
- Treasure: "When Privacy Field deals damage, it also ignites the suspect, dealing 156 damage over 12 seconds": => 156 => 80. Note: previously this effect did not work at all, so this is technically a huge buff, not a nerf!
- Treasure: "While Privacy Field is active, melee attacks that hit you have a 100% chance to restore 20 Power to you" : 100% chance => 75% chance. Note: previously this effect did not work at all, so this is technically a huge buff, not a nerf!
- Treasure: "Apprehend deals +48 damage and hastens the current reuse timer of Controlled Burn by 2 seconds (so it can be used again more quickly)" : 2 seconds -> 1.5 seconds. Note: previously this effect did hasten Control Burn at at all, so this is technically a huge buff, not a nerf!
- Controlled Burn: area-of-effect reduced from 15 meters to 10 meters.
- Aggression Deterrent: area-of-effect reduced from 10 meters to 6 meters.
Weather Witch: - New ability Summon Sandstorm: This is a variant of Summon Tornado intended to be more convenient in groups. It does not knock back foes, instead dealing bonus Armor damage. All tiers of this ability can be learned from the Sand Seer in Ilmari.
- New rare ability Summon Doomstorm: This is a variant of Summon Tornado. It does not knock back foes. Instead it deals Darkness damage. Damage is improved over base version. This pet is marked as undead for purposes of ability targeting. In other words, heals that don't work on undead don't work on this pet either. Buffs that work on undead DO work on this pet. For now, all tiers of this ability can be found as loot scrolls.
- Fixed bug that caused high-level summoned tornados to move incredibly fast. Normalized tornado speeds.
- Summoned tornadoes accidentally had vulnerability stats for Cold Spheres. They now correctly have vulnerability stats for Tornadoes.
Giant Bat: - "Your Confusing Double deals +67% damage with each attack": 67% => 45%
- "Confusing Double summons an additional figment. Each figment deals +77 damage with each attack": 77 => 50
- "Confusing Double Reuse Timer -15": -15 => -10
Fire Magic: - "Fire Breath hits all targets within 8 meters and deals +30.5% damage, but reuse timer is +3 seconds and Power cost is +33%" => "Fire Breath hits all targets within 8 meters and deals +60 damage, but reuse timer is +3 seconds and Power cost is +40"
Settings
- The "Reset" button in Settings now resets the currently-selected tab to its default settings. The old functionality, undoing all current changes, is still doable by simply closing the window.
- Added new experimental settings for Tab Targeting. You can find them in settings under GUI > Targeting > Tab Targeting (Experimental).
- Combat Range: Control the max range of tab targeting when you are in combat.
- Combat Lock: If your current target is in combat, only other in-combat enemies will be targeted via tab, unless none are in view.
- Prioritize Unlooted Corpses: When tabbing through corpses, should all un-looted corpses be targeted before looted corpses?
- You can now tab through targets as quickly as you can press the button.
- Overwriting a keybind that's already bound now shows a confirmation prompt, including the name of the keybind being overwritten.
- Reorganized and renamed several Settings, to make them more intuitively grouped and easier to find.
UI Changes
- "Controls" settings have been organized into Camera & Character controls, with sub-menus.- Allow clicking through entities in the new UI, similar to how it works in the old UI. If you click on something that's already selected, it selects the entity behind it (if there is one).
- Reduced precision of click-selecting entities, so they can be selected without hovering directly over them.
- All stat bars (and globes) now smoothly animate when they change, instead of statically changing to the new value.
- Item stack size font now resizes properly for vaults (including saddlebag).
- Fixed nameplate placement for mounted humanoids.
- Fixed bug causing mouse cursor to disappear completely if mouse-dragging while zoning.
- Fixed bug that caused very large tooltips not to display sometimes.
- Removed hover-text about avatar portraits coming soon -- because they're here now! We live in the future!
- Ability tooltips now display Special Values before Special Info, as those make more sense grouped together with the other numerical data.
- Polished the lootable-corpse particles a bit.
- Nameplates now fully fade out with distance instead of just the names.
- Better handling of left-clicking nothing to deselect your current target.
- Improved display of Crafting button when no hotkey is assigned.
- Fixed quest window display bug when objective count number was very large.
- Removed the "1" from the item slot in the bug report window.
- Fixed bug causing stack sizes of items in the sidebar to get out of sync.
Graphics & Animation
- Wolves & cows now animate at proper speed when going up and down hills.
- Replaced wolf's Hunting Speed animation with a howl animation.
- Polished bard animations, so they flow together better now. The play-lute animation now always plays when you are playing a bard song, even if you use other abilities while playing the song.
- Improved instrument-playing animations.
- New VFX (animations, particles, & shader effects) for all Battle Chemistry abilities.
- You can no longer auto-move while jumping. Doing so previously resulted in some very strange-looking animations.
- Fixed weird animation bug when trying to do certain things while sitting or kneeling.
- Failure to interact with something now returns the player to idle stance.
- Fixed bug with Thentree armor causing weird shadows on male characters.
- Mage Armor is now more polished, a bit darker, and has glowier gems
- Fixed bug that would cause a dancing pig's mud to stick around forever.
- Fixed bug where mounting while dancing would continue some dancing effects.
- Improved texture for Spring Fairy armor.
- Fixed face cam for Pigeons.
Other Bug Fixes & Tweaks
- Some legacy equipment that should have been Mastercrafted wasn't. Those items should be fixed now.
- When you un-legacy equipment by pulling an invalid power off of it at the transmutation table, the legacy and broken state of that equipment is now properly updated.
- Fixed bug allowing recipe items to be summoned from anywhere.
- Updated Shadow Feint tooltip to display the correct AOE distance for blinking back to position.
- Phrenology-based Mentalism & Psychology bonuses to critical chance now properly affect heals.
- Improved logic related to channeling abilities; this should hopefully fix stuck-in-channel bugs.
- Modified Mutation Injection ability descriptions to make it a bit clearer how they work.
- Lycanthropy ability "Become Wolf": the skill check to disable wolf mode is no longer downleveled when your combat skills are downleveled.
- Newly learned abilities, Wild Endurance, & First Aid should now correctly auto-rerank.
- Dying by falling through the world now shows a special button in the death window, "Teleport to Last-Touched Ground", which teleports your dead body to the last ground you were standing on. While this isn't an ideal solution, it should allow you to be revived in party situations
- Fixed bug causing skeleton warrior pets to repeatedly retreat a short distance when fighting something.
- Astounding Cloth Shirt (Max-Enchanted) and Camouflaged Astounding Shirt (Max-Enchanted) recipes now require the correct ingredients.
- Pressing spacebar while in an animal-mount form will no longer play the horse neighing sound.
- Fixed typo in Evasion Boots (Enchanted) recipes.
- Changed icon color for Acid Bomb to more of an acid-y color (and match the new VFX).
- Acid Boost Potion recipe now correctly states that it lasts 30 minutes.
- Fixed typo in quest "Holistic Wellness: Yarn" (twelve -> twenty-four balls of yarn).
- The tsys mod, "Psi Health Wave grants all targets +X Mitigation vs. Electricity, Acid, and Nature attacks for 20 seconds" now displays in the effects list when it's active.
- Fixed Dwarven Fixer causing screen brightness (instead of hiding it).
- "Toxic Flesh" tooltip now takes poison damage buffs into account.
- Using Objective Orienteering on "The Borghild Lead" quest now leads to the correct area.
- Fixed typo in quest "The Borghild Lead" (south -> north).
- Harry now hints more strongly that his Minor Panacea will not cure ALL curses, just a specific one.
- The quest "Goblin Avenger: Ratkin!!!" now correct gives 10 Xedrite.
- JSON users: Note that in skills.json's level-up rewards, "Ability" can now refer to a single ability or an array of abilities.

2023.06.03 05:24 Hairy-Insurance6217 should i quit? (rant)
i know this is a silly thing to post but i’ve been working at jimmy johns over the summer for the past three years now when i’m out of school. most of the original crew i worked with have left/are leaving and all the new hires are just really slow on the line and the register and it stresses me out to have to help them in the middle of the lunch rush when they can just study the menu and the register. i was offered a job at an auto parts store across the street and i’m really considering leaving but i feel like i thrive really well in the jimmy environment (there’s no way i’m going to subway or jersey mikes tho i’m loyal to the brand.)
