Should I end my friendship?
I've (20) had this friend(20) who has been my friend for the past 6 years. We used to be used close in the beginning but then around year 4 she had to move abroad. I have DPDR so I often forget that people around me exist when I haven't seen them for a while along with some other issues I face.
From the start, she's never really been a great friend to me. I've always thought of her as an escape from my shitty household, so I saw her as a light in my gloomy existence at the start of our friendship. This light being the very reason I never really saw her flaws till later on but even then I would tolerate them because I needed my escape.
Moving forward to year 5,she's gone through some very traumatic shit that I would always help her through. But she's very manipulative in the sense that when I was going through my own shit she she sent me messages about how she was going to KHR and that forced me to invite her over to my house and later when I asked her she said she wasn't serious.
This is year 6, now I notice so many issues with her that I don't have the patience for and I know I'm not a good friend but I've always been good to her and she's acknowledged it. She's admitted that I'm there for her more than she's ever been there for me. She now uses me as a escape from her terrible hostel life, which I was fine with till she came over to my house and admitted that she not only has a new best friend but that she was sad that the boy she liked (loves) wasn't willing to meet with her and that she only came over to meet with him.
The other thing that really hurt me was that we decided to meet this new uni friend I made. She has this issue of kinda being self absorbed to the point where she continued to talk only about the guy that she liked to my friend and didn't really bother asking him any questions. Not only that but when my friend asked her questions about me her responses really fazed me because I didn't know that's how she viewed me. She said words like yeah "I clinged onto her" (me to her) and that whenever I would address my issues with her I would basically be "throwing a fit". This visit btw was imposed on me by her, I didn't want to meet her since I was still grieving my dead cat and things were really terrible for me when she stayed over
This was the last time I talked to her in person,after that she asked me if I wanted to hang out I said no. Now, she has messaged me saying that she knows that I was sad and that she's trying her best.
I don't know how to respond.. should I just end it?

Hi there few days ago I found out that my account was frozen on request of Hyderabad Cyber cell and after requesting a lot I managed to obtain the report copy. On the report say a person X reported that he was cheated for approx 10 lakhs and his money was send to my account. I Sold USDT to a user who paid me the said amount from person X account and on receiving the INR I released the USDT. Now the problem is that my account is frozen. So I am not really sure what's happened, but i will explain as best i can.
I play a decent amount of FPS games on my computer. MW2, Valorant, CSGO, Fortnite, Apex... and so on. I have always split the audio as much as the game will let me... in wave link i have all of the possible channels open and populated... for example... MW2 and Valorant... have the in game sounds going through the Game Channel, in game voice chat going through the voice chan, and so on...
Well that all changed until today 6/3/23... last was going some stuff and had a stream deck update pop up when I first started up the computer... did the update,... did the restart ... so the sound is very choppy in game...sounds like back in the day when i was playing on a computer that got 4fps... anyway... if i go in game and change the sound output device from Elgato Wave Game to Headphones, all of the sound works fine...

Hello! I was hoping I could get some help tracking down some contact information so I can get records.
Looong story short I'm American but grew up in a few places abroad, among them being Geneva. Beautiful city and country, miss it terribly.

The first would be my old school, I don't know how to spell it so I made a voice recording of me saying it. It was a white villa that had gotten repurposed into a school for troubled kids, everything from autism/adhd to mental retardation and psychopaths. I think it was uptown or something because it was about 45 minute or an hour walk from the main train station which was a couple blocks from where I lived. It was next to a giant office building for...I'm pretty sure a phone company or bank? Something monolithic with a logo.
I know that's not terribly a lot to go off of, but that's why I've been having trouble.
I was also in a psych ward for a few weeks at the hospital university Geneva, and while their website does have an English section it doesn't seem to have any email addresses.
The third is is likely the least likely, my therapist. Her name was Madame Jackson, child therapist. I really don't have much more to go on then that.

Sorry if this post is a little wacky, I've been up for almost 24 hours and I've worked for 12 hours within that time doing heavy duty lifting so I'm tired.
I 22f am friends with 26f. We live in different countries and only communicate online. Recently my depression is getting to me and my friend is going through a lot of issues right now. I'm worried that how I am now is going to affect her. We've been friends for over half a year. During this friendship we have talked literally every single day.
To explain my mental health and how it affects this post, I have Severe Reoccurring Major Depression as well as anxiety.I tend to overthink and also have PTSD and insomnia. I also found out recently I tend to be jealous about my friends. Like if I consider them my best friend I want to be their best friend. (I am working on trying to fix that state of mind. It's the first time I've noticed it and I'm trying to fix it.) Anyways due to my friend pulling away due to whats going on with her, I've been pulling away mentally/emotionally. The overthinking is not on purpose, but it is getting to me/triggering me by telling me she doesn't actually care and that I'm not actually her friend. It's causing me to shut down mental and emotionally for days and I think she knows something is wrong.
She messages everyday, and we talk about what's been going on with her. She's been asking how I'm doing and I've honestly been avoiding her questions. I've never done this before but I'm consciously trying to pull away from our friendship. My brain keeps telling me she won't notice and that eventually I'll just be gone from her life and she will have never remembered I was there and that it's for the best so my bad mental state doesn't affect her.
I will not disclose what my friend is going through due to it being something personal for her and something I know if affecting her really badly to have to go through.

Few years ago I came across a facebook message of a woman begging for help as she was in a very difficult financial situation and was unemployed. I went through her profile and saw that was also begging for help on other pages etc. explaining her situation as well. I believed her story & because our country has a very high unemployment rate and poverty is growing.

So the question is, how was I able to achieve a bit of financial confidence in me as a young 20 year old guy years ago? (I am 28 right now)
To give more background, I am from a poor family. I paid for my education by working as a BPO employee, I had nothing and I experienced na makitulog sa kaibigan just to have a shelter. But I never gave up
Let's say you are like me, you have a good education but you just graduated and you don't know what to do.
Once you start working, you are going to realize that salaries between 20-40k is pretty low for a COMFORTABLE LIFESTYLE (Sorry I won't sugar coat)
You wanted to have a good lifestyle, a good stable income, a good demand with your expertise, and extra fund monthly to do side business, investments, or simply enjoy life. You can also plan out getting your first car in this.
With that, here are things that you should know or consider to do:

1. Get job experience - This is pretty basic but I believe some people undervalue the importance of this, a lot of people wanted to jump from nothing to a high salary quickly but the question is, what can you offer? Why will a company pay you that much? What can you contribute? You see, it is very important to get actual work experience first and your next decision will be based from what you are feeling and seeing with your current industry. I am not a fan of average work as I like to be someone who is great in what I do. Because remember, Average effort can only produce average results
2. Augment Your Skillset - What exactly do I mean by augmenting your skills? It can be as someone who is good in spreadsheets and data, similar to accounting or statistics. But the question is, how can you get paid good with that type of knowledge? Learn new skills that is complimenting your current skills - Learn coding or programming in which can transition your expertise from just knowing accounting/data skills and become a data scientist, it can also be something like you being a digital marketer but knowing how to use different skills like email marketing, eCommerce Softwares, Copywriting, and many more! You get the idea, how can you make yourself valuable to your clients/company.
3. Decide what kind of lifestyle will you be comfortable sustaining - Decide which lifestyle you are willing to spend on that will give you comfort, security, and focus on what you want to achieve. This is very important as I have experienced it recently, not being in an environment that you want would make you do less. Point is, you can't really spend less with the lifestyle that you want. Its a matter of earning more instead of just focusing on bigger savings. If 50k is your comfort level, then earn more to save more. Wala eh, magastos talaga yung comfort mo. Again, living frugally na di maayos will just make you distracted and uninspired.
4. Focus on increasing your earning power - Its just pretty common na most people starts with "Ano pwede investan? "San pwede mag invest?", while it is a good way to start knowing about investing but a lot did not consider EARNING POWER. Remember, if we just talk about Mutual Funds for example na mag gain ka ng 8-10% yearly, if you only have 10k to invest thats only 800-1000 php gain. Now, you can start investing naman but the most important thing is to increase your earning power. Investing 1000 php monthly can only give you little gain kahit ano pa yan to be quite frank. Kahit maayos na start yan if you want to achieve more you should focus increasing earning power. Ano to? Salary increase, more clients on the side, bigger role na may bigger pay talaga. Connected yung 5 ko dito.
5. You are the asset - Yes, you are the asset. It means invest in yourself. Why will clients and company pay you a high level salary if you are just someone na makikita lang kaagad skillset? is it a matter of exploited agad na mababa pay mo? No, its just reality na you are irreplaceable. You have to be someone na valueable sa company. Make yourself valuable enough na loss ng company pag di ka nila nahire or if you leave them. Build that portfolio, compile your achievements, become outstanding. Pero even with this, don't get exploited parin and take care of yourself. I am not talking about overworking, just invest more in knowledge, experience, and expertise.
6. Budgeting - This goes different for everyone, but for me nilalabas ko agad yung expenses ko before mag start yung month. Example June ngayon, nilabas ko na expense ko nung May last week. I have budgeted my rent, electricity, wifi, food, leisure, gas, car expenses. etc. All of these are cash or nakahilaway na sa main bank ko where I keep my money, EF, investments. I have a specific bank account/digital wallet for spending and a wallet organizer with multiple categories (Food, Gas, Parking, Groceries) meaning, yun lang pwede ko gastusin. Di ko gagalawin yung pera ko sa bank, yung tinabi ko lang for this month. I do the same process every single month
7. Saving and Investing - Pay yourself first, before mag start month ko again nakabudget na, kasama na doon savings and investment ko. If you have good income na, decide mo magkano savings mo and investment and bawas mo na agad sa gastusin mo. Remember, Income - Savings = Expenses. Not the other way around. Make sure to also build an EF (Emergency Fund, for example 20k monthly cost of living mo then you should have at least 120k for emergency at buhay ka for 6 months without income if may emergency.)
8. Insurances - Sorry, but don't get VUL. Do that math and you'll see, compare mo din health/life benefits niya vs traditional insurances. Traditional parin talaga, investment-wise naman mas madali pa mag invest sa ETFs/Mutual Fund. Based on my own exp and research to, shitty VUL. haha, get a 10-20 year payable life insurance to protect your health in case of emergencies.
9. Learn about investing vehicles - Learn about putting your money sa stocks or as simple as putting money sa mp2 pag ibig, mutualfunds and ETFs. Invest at your own risk, make sure to study first. I wont really give an advice here besides LEARN IT!
10. Invest in yourself mentally and physically - So lahat ng ginagawa mo sa buhay worth it ba? You are not an endless self-improvement project. Yes we still do a lot of effort to achieve excellent results pero end of the day you have to enjoy life with your loved ones and kahit ikaw lang din mismo. You are not climbing the mountain to say "I AM HERE AT THE TOP" but for you to see the world. Take care of yourself mentally and physically, enjoy and live a long life.

I was digging through past posts and didn’t find an answer, so I’ll ask. How can some people get their badge on day 1 of the month? I’m only getting three quests a day, which by my math, means that the earliest I could get the badge is in 10 days. I am using Rog Phone 2 (Android 9). When I recently installed Fortnite, I got a loading screen that said Optimising Content after everything is downloaded. After that Fortnite was running butter smooth like literally no frame droppings at all. AM5 DDR5 RAM compatability is pain in a$$ - as this video makes clear. Its just teething issues I realise, but ive been told that currently (at least for my planned build, for whcih ill use the MSI B650 Mortar) - I should stick with lower-speed ram to ensure it works smoothly - an MSI forum memeber seemed to know what he was talking about here. Ive therefore selected 5200 G.skill falre x5 (64gb kit - 32 x 2)...but for 10 more dollars I can get some 5600 of the same kit (that suypposedly should work...but the speed is perhaps too high currently - BIOS updates may change this.). My question is whether I would be able to lowelimit the ram speed in the BIOS. For example I get the 5600 and just limit it to run at 5200. Is this possible, would this solve any issues I may have? (and hopefully later on MSI will release a BIOS to improve this issue).

My playgroup of 16 people including me shares 200 commander decks ranging from pl5-Cedh. We have been doing this since 2017 and obviously the number of decks slowly started to get some what out of control. Tonight when we were playing someone brought up the question of “do you think anyone does something similar to us (sharing decks and such)” . So we traded in our 2019 Highlander and got a $6500 “discount” for value above the end of lease price. We also paid about $5000 payment on delivery. Total price was around $56k for the vehicle. This is pretty much the MSRP for xle trim.
However, our lease contract just shows the discounted price of $45k as leased vehicle price (trade in isn’t taxable apparently so not included). The insurance company is taking this as the vehicle price for settlement.
This likely makes Toyota “whole” but not us. We have the waiver of depreciation and had hoped to get most of the value back we put in… but I feel we’re about to get screwed on the trade in value.
I’ve emailed and called the insurance company but they can’t seem to hear this pov. Toyota forwarded a screenshot that outlines the discount and other financial info and says it will be sufficient but now won’t answer the phone.

Just as it sound, but before explaining what happens, I'll give you all the details. I live in the Dominican Republic. I have a Google Voice account with a NYC code area number. I have had this number since Google Voice was in beta. I don't live in the US. As a US number is needed for creating the account, back then I used a prepaid phone number I got on Tmobile during a US trip. I don't have that number anymore but set phones and everything to be on mail/desktop/app, etc. No phone on my app is linked. When Hangout was a thing I could make phone calls from the app, but as of today I can't make calls on Google Voice app since I can't link the account to a number. Let's call this GV number: X.
On the other hand, I have two phones:

Secondary phone: iPhone 14 Pro max with · Phone Number B · Phone Number C ·WhatsApp app with Phone Number C. Primary phone: Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with · Phone Number A: my main phone number, that has NO WhatSapp. · My main whatsApp is with my Google Voice Number, X. · Whatsapp Business with Phone Number B (yes, I use in one phone a WhatsApp account with the number that belongs to the other phone). I hope this is not at all confusing. So, let's go to the issue. As you may know, if you don't use Google voice number frequently, you may lose it. I do use it to receive or make calls, but the other day I spent a month that I didn't use it, so I went to Google Voice's website on Chrome in my laptop and placed a call from Phone Number X (Google Voice), to Phone Number B. Phone Number B is my iPhone. I had my iPhone on my hand, waiting for it to ring, so I could answer the call and let it run for one or two minutes. Instead, Samsung Phone was the one ringing, with an incoming call on WhatsApp B from an unknown number, with a photo on it. I answered and it was me... After all the confusion. I ended the call, and dialed again. The call was incoming through WhatsApp again, with another different number, also with a photo. Repeated the call a third time, the same result. I received the call on WhatsApp from another different number than the previews 2, also with profile pictures that by the way, they looks like stock images photos. Repeated a fourth time. I finally received the call on the phone line B on the iPhone, this time from a local phone number, not known to me. Repeated again, received it on Whatsapp again. Repeated again, received it on WhatsApp. Called again, received in on Phone Number B, and this time the call was from my Google Voice number, finally. Then I tried calling Phone Number C, which has Whatsapp on iPhone. I received the call on WhatsApp C, not on the line.... Called Phone number A, that doesn't have WhatsApp, and received the call as it should be, on the line and from my Google Voice number. Talked to a friend, who also has a Google Voice number with balance, has an Whatsapp with that Google number,, and locals phone numbers with WhatsApp as well. I asked him to try it himself. He was surprised when he received the phone calls on WhatsApp. Tried posting on Google Voice sub, they called it a fake thing and deleted my post immediately. Does this happens because I don't have any US phone number linked to my Google Voice? Is my account hacked? Is Google Voice system twisted? I'm willing to try it with any of you and/or record a video....
