hi so i’m taking the mcat for the 3rd time now and i’m getting really anxious about how it’s gonna go. When I was doing my practice tests i was getting 510+ but then when the real deal came, i didn’t even break a 500. This happened twice. And now i’m starting to think like what if it happens again? Is it all worth it?!?!? It seems like after putting so much time and effort, it’s just not working out!
For my first take (it was second year summer, studied 3 and a half months but was working and took orgo in the summer) - I heavily focused on content for the first 1.5 months since it took a long time for me to get through the material. I had a strong understanding for chem but everything else was pretty new to me - I did about 10 practice tests (all of AAMC + Blueprint FL and Diagnostic tests) all ranged around 505-515 - I bought uworld and did some questions but didn’t end up finishing all of it. - I did the JW cars daily but that’s about it until I reached AAMC material - I found that I didn’t review my practice exams properly- I didn’t make any anki cards and gave up on having a log system of tracking my mistakes - I did the miledown anki but i started like only one month before my exam and i don’t think it worked the best

All ranging 510+ and in the range i wanted. - I didn’t make anki cards for my mistakes but I reviewed the exams with more time - I finished all the uWorld questions and thought it helped me - I didn’t memorize the physics equations properly so i did my chem section on the actual exam, I freaked out and started guessing for all the questions - I also tried doing JW daily and did about 3-4 passages a day. - I also did a bunch of Jack westin questions to solidify my knowledge but i started doing this near the end of content review
Right Now (my SECOND RETAKE): - Studying for 2 months only - Doing 3 passages daily for CARS, made my own anki flashcards while going through Kaplan textbooks, did 30 questions on Jack Westin for each chapter i did while doing content review. After that, I reviewed my anki flashcards every day. Occasionally i would read the miledown review sheet for stuff i was confused on. Tried watching youtube videos to solidify any hard concepts. Focused on memorizing all physics equations (i also just finished taking the second physics in april so i remember stuff from it) - For the last month, I’m just grinding by doing questions from the AAMC and really trying to know every single question they ask and the reasoning behind it - I’m reviewing the Anki miledown deck and set a deadline so I can finish it before my test date. Which means i’m doing about 1000 cards a day :( But i’m finding Anki to be super helpful - I’m continuing to do 3-4 passages a day for CARS - I think i have to do about 8 practice exams only - I’m also going through the miledown review sheet and kaplan review sheets to make sure i am remembering everything - Unfortunately all of this takes me about 10-12 hours of studying a day. Somehow idk how i’m not burnt out yet but i’m just telling myself that i’m giving this my last try
Does anyone have any tips on anything I should do or change ? My goal is a 510+ ideally a 515. I have been getting it during my practice tests but i’m scared that going from less than a 500 to 510+ seems unrealistic. Ugh this has been a long journey and to everyone struggling too i’m rooting for you guys ❤️

Let's try this again. Hello, my name is Conner Jared Fields. I am a jazz alto saxophonist (student level, not professional level quite yet). I am also an autism youtuber that talks about autistic boyhood/manhood, I'm also an analyst of the culture industry as it relates to music. My approach to discussing autistic boyhood/manhood/masculinity is both personal and positive about this subject. We look at the weird intersections of the two, and a sort of ableism in mainstream/popular feminist discourse regarding the topic of autistic masculinity (I call this able-minded privilege, I think this is related to a certain language of privilege and theory of privilege most progressive feminists can understand). My argument is that we speak of ability and agency in a certain way, that implies freedom of movement and personal power. Regarding the intersections of institutional power, ability is central to our understanding of agency, and telling someone they are disabled can lead to them internalizing it. This is why the medical definition of disability is wrong. We also look at how autistic girls and boys alike are vulnerable targets to sexual predators (9:10 girls/women, no hard statistics for boys because no one cares about protecting boys), and sex scammers; because the inability to see red flags or pick up on subtle cues that something is wrong occurs in autistic people. The patriarchy doesn't try to protect boys the way it tries to protect girls. I want to take apart this idea of disabled autistic men as having hegemonic power. This isn't to say there are no autistic men that have problems with harassment or violence, this is just to say that those that do while possibly having "male privilege" have faced steep disadvantages throughout life (on a personal note, I have). Now I have that out of my system I want to compare "The Fetish Character in Music, and the Regression of Listening" by Theodor Adorno to The prologue of Piero Scaruffi's "A History of Rock and Dance Music". Adorno: The illusion of a social preference for light music as against serious is based on the passivity of the masses which makes the consumption of light music contradict the objective interests of those who enjoy it. I can't really understand what Adorno is saying other than he dislikes popular music and prefers serious music. (Classical) Scaruffi makes an argument contra Adorno where he tries to attack the version of the History of Rock Music that is just American or just British or just about the hits from those two countries, and argue it can be taken seriously. Scaruffi: There is not one history of rock music. There are several. There is the history of the hits...The charts decide, i.e. the masses decide...there is a catch: the masses tend to buy what is publicized by the media, which corporations pay money to publicize. Marketing decides the charts. Invest a million dollars on me and I, regardless of my music talent will break into the charts. [Note: Scaruffi studied mathematics in college and has no musical training]. Here Scaruffi gives a criticism of the media and corporations that while not Marxist could be described as critical, to my eyes.
Scaruffi then makes an argument for "alternative" music., by which he means anything that is not mainstream. He is a wealth of obscurities. Scaruffi:...Tell anyone (alternative or mainstream musician) that s/he is playing alternative music and s/he will be flattered. Fans may buy according to the media and to marketing campaigns, but they too recognize the primacy of alternative media. If you tell a Beatles fan the Beatles were mainstream, you risk your life. The evidence is just overwhelming: even the most mainstream musicians tacitly agree that alternative music is more important. I've personally met people that seem not to think like this. They listen to commercial big-band, and Top 40 pop and seem to enjoy it more than I, basically a Scaruffi follower would. Scaruffi argues that embracing "alternative" rock would be a way to bring more sophisticated audiences to rock music. Scaruffi: At the same time, rediscovering alternative rock and giving it its dues is also a way to restore the reputation of rock music among the more sophisticated audiences.
He then goes on to denounce music critics
Scaruffi: Too many music critics blindly follow the instructions from the major record companies and hail whichever "next big thing" happens to get a larger market budget.

I learned and had lesson from George Gankas, Milo Lines, Dan Whittaker, Monte Schienblum and several others. I Spent a ton of money, time and effort to learn the golf swing and I wanted to share with you the concepts I incorporated and a shortcut to them if you will. These aren’t everything you need to do, but in my experience they’re essential:
1.) The backswing is an illusion.
Your arms simply raise up and your torso rotates. It looks like you stretch your lead arm across your chest, but this isn’t what’s happening. For a right handed golfer, your hands will be in line with your right pectoral or armpit, not past your right shoulder and they simply lift up to get there. The arms will be in front of your body throughout the swing.

2.) Pelvic tilt.
The lead side of your pelvis needs to be lower than the trail side in the initial downswing.

3.) Rib sway and trail side bend is how you manage the upper body.
You have to sway the upper body and right bend from the thoracic spine.

So I started playing quite recently and just made it to cl 280 and in ranked I'm 40 but is there no real other way to get more avatars or variants or even the terrible titles??? The game is very bland outside of actually playing it right? There's not even challenges or well anything really other than just dailies, weeklys and a season pass that costs 10 quid for 50 levels that lasts for one month and it doesn't even give you the option to buy the battle pass with ingame currency. Literally every other mobile game that has a battlepass has these features from cod mobile to fortnite and once buying the battlepass in these other games you can earn credits that you can save or reinvest into next seasons battlepass.
Don't get me wrong the game itself is amazing I love the actual gameplay but everything else is just kind of repetitive

Cenk needs to be called out for this, I hope Destiny will ask Cenk why he has this show on his Network. The show is Indisputable with Dr. Rashad Richey and is the third biggest show on the Network. The coverage on this channel is insane. It's even bad for TYT who had Shaun King on their Network for years.
Race Baiting is not a strong enough term for what's going on here. The channel attracts thousands of comments calling white people "Demons" and "Neanderthals" and a lot of death threats demanding "Street Justice" and "Eye for an Eye" is repeated like a mantra.
I'm not cherry picking comments because sometimes you will see 5 death threats in a row if you search by newest. TYT or YouTube are quickly deleting the worst examples.
Peeking into this TYT channel really helped me understand why so many people are so delusional. I'm really happy the D-man calls this stuff out because these videos create black and white radicals.

Trading Thesis: Tracking the float along with daily volume along with company financials helps to narrow down moving tickers Fundamental and technical analysis is often used to find growth tickers and information about them. Fundamental analysis looks to see whether an investment is overvalued or undervalued based on underlying economic conditions, as well as the finances of the company or other organization that issued a stock or bond. Technical analysis instead looks at patterns in the price of an investment to predict future movements in that investment’s price. I look for tickers that are trading at least 2 million in volume a day, with a market-cap of no less than 500 million. The shares traded are compared to the average volume to determine how much of the float is used (Or shares traded). That information is compiled with data on how profitable the company is and how much cash do they have compared to what is expected.
